So who’s going to pound the rock when Doug Martin isn’t?

Today — again– Greg Schiano raved about his 29-year-old Rutgers man Brian Leonard, who was the third-down back for the Bengals for the past three seasons. Schiano talked about Leonard’s athleticism and versatility. Earlier this offseason, Schiano has called Leonard a “winner” on multiple occasions.

Leonard said today at One Buc Palace he’s dialed in on his rushing skills, as well as Mike Sullivan’s complex playbook. You can listen to Leonard’s full interview below, via Joe’s partners at WDAE-AM 620/95.3 FM.

    I know it was just a simple contest for the fans; but both Leonard and Hillis looked really athletic even compared to Doug Martin.
