Another JoeBucsFan TV Episode

July 16th, 2011

Bucs beat writer Jenna Laine, of NFL.com, sits down with Joe to share insight into Adrian Clayborn and more. Joe found Laine’s information on Clayborn’s draft stock and physical limitations fascinating. Makes you realize how much Clayborn has overcome.

    Joe, you dog you!!!!

Okay seriously, there is nothing sexier than a woman who knows her Bucs.

Okay Okay seriously for real this time. I love the Anthony Gaitor story. I can picture him as one of those vets who climbs up the ranks after such humble beginnings.

  2. Paul Says:

I usually don’t care for female reporters (Ines Sainz). But this lady genuinely seems like a Bucs fanatic! Thx for the video.

  3. OB Says:

Great show but please either change positions or the camera so it is face on to the guest. It’s not theat we don’t want to see you but I want to see more of your guest than the head turned, especially this one.

She said scouts said maybe only “five or six good years” from Bowers. How many teams would love to have even that from their first or second round choices. Too many on too many teams to say but you can.

With the deal almost done, can’t wait for training camp and your reports on the goings on with all of the troops.

Joe, I liked this video a lot more than the last one with Jenna. I feel like she was more in her element with the freedom to express her thoughts on what she does with the Bucs.

I love all the points she hit on with our picks, I definitely came away with knowledge that I didn’t have before and that kind of insider info has got to be her biggest strength. Great video, I’m really looking forward to hearing what she has to say about our other picks – especially Stocker and Black!

P.S. Agree with OB, any way you can work out a better angle? The best parts of the video were the headshots of Jenna. No offense, Joe, but she’s easier on the eyes

  5. Stanglassman Says:

I thought Ryan K was already picked when the Bucs were drafting. I guess that’s why I need to leave it to the experts like her to tell me what to think.

  6. Vic Says:

Didn’t think you were on camera too much Joe. Can’t imagine you’re the producer anyway. Video was good.

  7. BigMacAttack Says:

    Hey Joe, she wants you.
    Go for it.

  8. admin Says:

    Joe here,

@OB — Joe’s surely not dominating the screen here. No clue what you’re talking about. There are two cameras anyway.

@Stanglassman — Jenna simply mentioned she was more of a Kerrigan fan (for the Bucs) entering the draft. Passing comment. Hardly implying he was available when they selected.

Inevitably, Joe realizes that a woman in a video brings out the seventh grader in most of Joe’s readers. SMDH

  9. Mauha Deeb Says:

Joe, I would never try to tell you how to run your ship(I know you’ll do what you want anyways and that is greatly appreciated) but the background graphics are visually “noisy”. They to take away from the interview.
As a friendly suggestive question, is there any possibility you might settle for a graphic that doesn’t put me into delirious shock?
The interview was awesome. Thanks for the upload, brother.

Espo says ” there is nothing sexier than a woman who knows her Bucs ” and I agree.
Jenna has a lot of in depth knowledge about all things Tampa.
Her comment about using Bowers using dumbells to train with vs a barbell explains why he “only” did 17 reps in his bench press test at the scouting combine. As Joe caught, dumbells work out separate muscles vs barbells. All things considered, I think using dumbells vs barbells is a better way to train for Football Strength, as long as steps are used to prevent injuries.

  11. Gringo Dave Says:

Joe has the weirdest haircut I have ever seen on a “TV Personality.” Two thirds of his head is bald and the back third has a hair cap desperately hanging on. Does Herb’s Palsy manifest itself on hair? If he wants to be a video commentator maybe he should wear a hat or adjust the lighting so that the glare off of his ever increasing forehead is less.

Maybe, a wig company will sponsor his site? Don’t even even get me started on that lawyer with the humongous ears!
