The record-breaking Bucs kicker was added to the injury report this morning with an illness. His status for Sunday’s game in Seattle in uncertain.
McLaughlin did make the flight to Seattle as the Bucs are currently in the air headed to the gloomy great Northwest. And yes, it’s very gloomy and overcast today as the locals warned Joe about the climate in Seattle.
Fun fact: Bucs running backs coach Skip Peete, who had a “medical episode” at practice this week, is also on the team flight.

Sunday’s game in Seattle will start on time. Will the Buccaneers?
Despite their 3-1 getaway, the Bucs have consistently found themselves behind in the opening quarter. That should be a disturbing trend for new offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard, who won’t have Bucky Irving as a key weapon to test Seattle’s stout defense.
It all began with the Week 1 matchup at Atlanta, where the Bucs quickly fell behind because the defense forgot to account for Bijan Robinson leaking out of the backfield for a 50-yard TD reception. [read more]
