In a perfect world, Carlton Davis would be credited with one final takeaway for the Buccaneers.
In trading Davis to the Lions two weeks ago, Jason Licht accumulated an extra pick in the third round of next month’s draft. That’s called quality ammo — and Licht needs to be ready and willing to use that draft capital if things fall his way before Tampa Bay’s No. 26 selection in the opening round.
While it’s evident the Bucs have holes to fill at edge rusher and the interior of their offensive line, there’s a chance one of the cleanest prospects in the draft makes it through the first half of the first round. [read more]
