Panthers Catch Major Break
October 15th, 2026
Landfill news.
The NFC South landfill is led by the 2-2 Panthers, a team coming off their bye week.
That’s not much of an accomplishment, but Carolina caught a break today with the announcement that Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has a blood clot in his calf and will miss Sunday’s game. Hurts, per the Eagles, got cleated during Sunday’s game and tests later in the week revealed a clot. Scary stuff.
Carolina hosts the Eagles on Sunday. Tanner McKee is the Eagles’ backup. He’s 1-1 as a starter in his career. The 2023 sixth-round pick made his last start in the 2025 season finale. The Eagles were tanking for postseason rest and lost to Washington.
After facing the Eagles on Sunday, Carolina will host the Bucs in Tampa Bay’s first NFC South landfill game of the season.

Harry is focused on the Steelers. A loss to the Rogerettes and the Panthers game will be meaningless. Playing for the draft if we loose to the Steelers (probably already there)

Season will be determined these next four games. If we lose to Carolina, then Atlanta seasons over.

A guy with a proclivity to throw for 93 yards in a game is arguably not catching a major break. This whole “the guys a winner” is folksy, campy, corny. It’s the Tim Tebow argument. Mark Rypien had an amazing year and won a Super Bowl too, doesn’t make him Joe Montana

Good time to pick up the Panthers D in FFball. lol

While the Panthers are 2-2, in 3 of their games they scored over 30 pts. They look like the cream (scum?) on top of the division.

Hurts or McKee or an xfl qb facing the panthers, they are a better team than us, and it’s not close.

After Caroline plays Eagles, they will host Bucs at their home

I’m surprised the Eagles GM didn’t sign a better backup.
He’s usually a genius.
We really need the Eagles to win!
Let’s go Saquan Barkley! We need you to have a big game!

That’s what we do now. Hope other NFC south teams loose. We are in the best division to be 1 & 4. Go bucs

Nobody beats us — er, the NFC South as bottom dwellers. We are in the lead(?) at -7 games under 500. The AFC South makes a run at us at -6 games, but they also have Jax, a team playing winning football. We “blow them away” in points for-allowed differential at -36 to -14!
Go Bucs. Go Jalon Winnings. Let’s mess up the status quo and beat those Steelers!

It doesn’t matter what anyone else does. If Todd stays the course, the Bucs will be fine over the long term.
