Micah Parsons Won’t Play Against The Buccaneers
June 4th, 2026Is there any legit excuse for why this Tampa Bay team shouldn’t have its annual fast start?
In the past few days, the Bucs have learned they won’t face Myles Garrett in Week 2 or Micah Parsons in Week 4, both home games.
The Bucs face the Packers on Oct. 4 to close a stretch of three consecutive home games after opening in Cincinnati. Parsons, the Packers’ beastly edge rusher, told reporters yesterday that he’s targeting a mid-October return from his ACL surgery and meniscus procedure.
And it seems there’s no reason to think Parsons would accelerate his timeline. His comments yesterday were very much about being deliberate in recovery and getting in prime shape for the playoffs.
What an early break this is for Baker Mayfield and new offensive coordinaor Zac Robinson. Two superstar game-wreckers have been wiped off the early-season schedule — while the offense adjusts to a new system.
For $246.20 plus tax, you can watch the Bucs-Packers game from a stadium seat far, far away from the action.

Well there’s two guaranteed wins then right there right? Right?
June 4th, 2026 at 10:18 am
They will start off 0-5 mark my word
June 4th, 2026 at 10:27 am
How come Green Bay and Cleveland know accurate return dates for their injured players? Heck – all we do is guess…. Summer, maybe fall…..
June 4th, 2026 at 10:28 am
You would think the glazers would do something about the bucs getting “mogged” in their own stadium consistently by opposing fans but profit am I right I mean a billion dollars doesn’t buy what it used to anymore.

Verse is a damn good player. Maybe not 23 sacks, but that was a great pickup. GB will be formidable without Parsons.
Someone said 0-5. Ouch.
3-2 would be a great start.
June 4th, 2026 at 10:32 am
it aint how you start, its how you finish!!!!
just finish strong!!!
GO BUCS!!!!
June 4th, 2026 at 10:48 am
The Packers have to deal with the Bucs revamped Dline and Bain! Thats how I look at it
GO BUCS!
June 4th, 2026 at 10:51 am
Those are some BIG dudes. I would hate to be an edge rusher trying to bull rush Goedeke and Wirf.
June 4th, 2026 at 10:51 am
Doesn’t matter how good they are without him.
They would be better with him so it’s a clear win for the Bucs him not playing.
I looked up Cincy’s D Line and that is way more formidable than I imagined.
Nothing is easy in the NFL.

No reason we can’t get to 3-1 to start.
The bengals haven’t traditionally started well under Thomas.
June 4th, 2026 at 11:07 am
I’d like to see the Bucs start 8-1.
June 4th, 2026 at 11:22 am
The Packers will be competitive… formidable is too strong of a word for me to use on them.
They signed DT Javon Hargrave (letdown in Minny), Zaire Franklin ILB (coverage liability) and CB Benjamin St.Juste.
They won’t have Parsons, lost Kenny Clark in that deal, Rashad Gary walked, Kingsley Enagsbare left. Traded Wicks, lost Doubs… they better hope Watson and Reed are healthy come week 4.
That defense without Parson is toothless. Beat Cincy week 1… damn right there’s no reason not to be 4-0.
June 4th, 2026 at 11:24 am
6 wins max
Remember we still play Rams late in season
Doesn’t matter tood system has been completely figured out by the entire league
He hasn’t progressed the D at all
Hardly ever does any in game adjustments
MIKE TOMLIN 2027 !!!

News from the Left Coast:
49er PLAYERS are all in amazement over how Mike Evans is approaching the season. Even long time vets are impressed with his approach to the game and his talent as a long ball threat. Evans says he feels great this year and injuries last year were a blessing for this year.
Interesting that posters here saying we need another vet in defensive backfield, while 49ers just signed Ashtyn Davis who started 12 games for Miami last year. Some teams are trying to improve on what they have. It seems we get to about this time of year and the Buc roster seems to be set in stone and that’s what we go with for the year. Does Licht go on vacation?
June 4th, 2026 at 11:27 am
Nice, but would feel a lot better if Jason could find a veteran shutdown corner that won’t get easily bored. Facing Burrow and Love will be tough with this defense. Especially Burrow, the guy is mobile and accurate.
June 4th, 2026 at 11:36 am
@BucsfaninOregon, ME13 can talk all he wants, but he will come up lame in the first three games and have to rehab his hammy for 6 weeks. Wait and see.
Yeah I agree, Licht and Bowles are hardheaded and I will never understand why they settle for mediocre players. They should be trying to upgrade the backfield this year instead of constantly waiting for some of these young guys to be the next Ronde Barber. Bring in a veteran CB and let them fight it out. Too many starters that should be backups at best. Yeah, after the draft Licht goes on mental vacation.

Every little bit helps I guess. Geeze, those tackles in the pic look like monsters. No wonder Goedeke wanted 160lb dumbbells.
June 4th, 2026 at 11:38 am
As long as we have the clown at H.C. we will be garbage.
June 4th, 2026 at 11:52 am
I can’t stand ducking great players. If you love the sport, you want to watch the best players play. Loser mentality to hope some other team is not at 100%. Who doesn’t want to see the best try to block the best? If you don’t, maybe football isn’t your thing.
Raise your expectations as a fan – either our best players beat the best teams at full strength or they aren’t good enough to be champs. Too much hoping we trip and fall to 10 wins like a bunch of third rate circus clowns on this blog.

THOSE ARE TWO BIG MEN
Is Wirfs is sucking in his stomach?
Goe’s arms are massive!
June 4th, 2026 at 12:02 pm
A horrible HC could be a legit excuse.
June 4th, 2026 at 12:24 pm
Them boyz is swole. Big dudes!
June 4th, 2026 at 12:37 pm
I think they’ve had enough arm/chest days. I want to see hamstring stretch days extended for the whole team.
June 4th, 2026 at 1:19 pm
As long as bowles doesn’t have to face any back up qbs bucs should be good
June 4th, 2026 at 1:21 pm
Did they get the 150lb Dumbells for Goedke yet Joe?
June 4th, 2026 at 1:33 pm
When you think of garbage, think of Todd Bowles Swiss cheese defense.
We will start 0-2, and likely 1-3 the first four games.
Then the real nightmare begins.
3 to 4 wins at max and the Glazers stand pat with the guru.
We will not see the playoffs again under this current regime.
June 4th, 2026 at 1:35 pm
0-5?
5-0 just as possible.
Any given Sunday. Let’s just see how much this team improves and if they can stay healthy.
Opposing star pass rushers do not scare me when our original o-line is playing together and healthy.
June 4th, 2026 at 1:40 pm
A lot of Draft picks and injuries wrapped up in that long recovering injury up there in the Dairy-air of Derrière, Wisconsin
No risk it, no biscuit I guess though!
June 4th, 2026 at 2:29 pm
KOD Yet Again! Everytime we appear to have a HUGE advantage, we lose by 7-10 points.
June 4th, 2026 at 3:15 pm
Depending on the Bucs health… I’m setting the Packers up in those first three weeks.
Week 1 @ Cincy, they have a lot of new faces on the D side. I’m going run heavy to hopefully keep the ball away from Joe and I am using motion, play action in both the running and passing game to test the Ds communication early in the season.
Week 2 and week 3…. Balanced offense but hopefully stepping on the Browns throats and not going soft if up by 10.
Week 4 vs the Packers, I’m airing it out. 1st drive it’s all play action and passing. They have no edge rush without Parsons and the secondary is weak.
June 4th, 2026 at 3:33 pm
The stuff I read in here is pure comedy.
“Bucs start 0-5.” Yeah ok. Wanna put a grand on that kiddo? Didn’t think so.
“JL should find a veteran shut down corner”. Sure, those guys are walking the streets right now. Why hasn’t Licht thought of that.
“3 to 4 wins max”. Pony up big talker. I’ll bet you 1k, the Buvs win more than 4 games. BET?? Didn’t think so..all talk.
“Loser mentality to hope another team isnt 100%”. It’s not “hope” its reality. Players get hurt in the NFL, as Bucs fans we know this all too well. So excuse us for not feeling sorry for any team missing key players. Such is life in the NFL.
