“You Gotta Be Kidding Me”

April 22nd, 2026

Whaddya know, 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy reacted to the big March free agency news the way most Bucs fans did.

And Joe is not referring to Tampa Bay signing linebacker Alex Anzalone.

Purdy addressed 49ers media as the team reported back to work this week, just like the Bucs did. He was asked about his reaction to learning the 49ers signed Bucs legend Mike Evans.

Purdy set the scene.

He said he was working out in George Kittle’s gym where an Evans jersey hangs on the wall. The Evans news found its way through the room “I was like, you gotta be kidding me,” Purdy said. “Alright, sick. I get to throw to this guy, a big old receiver. … It’s an honor. I can’t wait to go to war with that guy.”

In fact, most questions for Purdy were about the greatest receiver in Bucs history.

Purdy added that he’s been watching clips of Baker Mayfield and Tom Brady throwing to Evans in the red zone, and how well Evans secures leverage and runs routes. He called it a “dream” situation for a quarterback.

Purdy acknowledged throwing to top receivers in the past but they weren’t Evans. “He’s just different,” he said, before praising how well Kittle recruited Evans and had a plan to pursue him.

  1. Tim Says:

I always thought one of Evans’s best qualities was his ability to draw DPI calls for long first downs. He excelled at it.

  2. Lakeland Says:

    I wish Mike the best

I hope he have 3 solid seasons in San Francisco
I hope he get another ring, an HOF jacket

  3. Fanofdabucs Says:

Hope Mike pulls a hammy in week 1 and retires after the season.

I loved Evans as a Buc. One of my all time favorites. But I pull for the Bucs and their players, not guys who jump ship.

  4. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

“I always thought one of Evans’s best qualities was his ability to draw DPI calls for long first downs. He excelled at it.“

The 2nd & Long special under BA was something to see.

Tom had every QB in practice throwing into buckets at varying depths to hone their touch & accuracy.

Mike was the most targeted, but I remember Scooter getting in on that too. It was just more likely would run by his guy rather than the guy running with him.

  5. Gene Deckerhoff2 Says:

He has a deal with kittle and LC pizza commercials. This is about post career and making it to hall of fame. Jerry rice also recruited him. He won’t be in a crowded receiver room. I wish him all the best.

  6. Buc king Says:

Won’t play more than 5 games

  7. Saskbucs Says:

I’d like Davante Adams to pull a hammy week 1 and Evans to go for 1500 and 15 this season.

Overtake Adams in the TD race again.

Always Go Bucs! But always Go Mike! (Unless playing the Bucs) (Unless we need a Bucs loss to rid ourselves of Bowles)

A lot of rules to follow here.

  8. Section 312 Says:

I hope Mike kills it during the season

Shannahan will be scheming him WIDE OPEN

    He will play 10-12 games

Get big time exposure playing on PRIME TIME with a GLORY franchise

Then I hope he gets bounced from the playoffs by the Bucs

  9. BigZ Says:

Let it go, man… Get ready for VV going there next year.

  10. Rod Munch Says:

“Purdy added that he’s been watching clips of Baker Mayfield and Tom Brady throwing to Evans in the red zone, and how well Evans secures leverage and runs routes. He called it a ‘dream’ situation for a quarterback.”

If he really wants to see what Evans can do, just go watch the game vs the Falcons where Evans was wide open all night, yet still had to make some amazing catches since Baker couldn’t barely get it in the same zip code of Mike.

When Brock watches that game film, he’ll know that he can suck worse than he’s ever sucked in his entire life, and Evans can still get over 100 yards and a TD out of it.

  11. Lokog Says:

F mike evans and his family f em

  12. OLDSCHOOL1976 Says:

Anyone wishing harm to Mike isn’t a Bucs fan period. I hope He stays healthy and has a couple more good seasons. Anger and bitterness are a waste of your life time. Good luck Mike!

  13. buc4evr Says:

No plan to follow Evans. I am a Bucs fan first so Evans is dead to me. I don’t care what he does and hope Baker gets an even bigger chip on his shoulder the way Evans disrespected him. BTW, Evans will be lucky to play 9 games with his annual hammy injury problems.

  14. Miller5252 Says:

I just remember that game Evans was out Ann we were first and goal and had 9 chances to get into the end zone and how well that worked out. Trying to thrown jump balls to small receivers thinking they could do what Evans does. For all the people thinking we’re better without Evans go back and watch that set of downs…. Now you have no one with that mismatch. With Evans in the red zone there is no DB in the league that could stop him 1 on 1.

  15. adam from ny Says:

he called him big,…but he also did call him old…interesting

  16. Doughboy Says:

He should have told the Bucs last year what he desired so they could have gotten a draft pick for him from 49’s.

  17. Erik with UniqueModernArt.com Says:

People don’t realize how huge of a hole this left in our roster.

We have no WR1/X receiver more, and nobody currently on our roster can be a true WR1.

Idk if we can win without a true WR1.

We haven’t shown yet that we can, that’s for sure.

  18. Biggun Says:

    M. Evans was a legend in TB technically still is until one of our future Bucs can out do him….But how crazy would it be if 49’ers miss the playoffs and the Bucs make it to NFC championship maybe further…. Karma would be a B1tch…

  19. Kenton Smith Says:

Doughboy. The 49’ers weren’t going to give up draft capital for Mike. They aren’t paying him squat guaranteed money for an x receiver. That being said, they may have gotten the steal of the offseason. Because Mike Evans can play him some catch. But if Baker Mayfield hasn’t been “all business” since he walked into OBP, he will be this year. Because that was an awfully disrespectful move Mike pulled on Baker. But Mike didn’t just eff Baker. He effed JL. He effed TB. He effed the City of Tampa. Soon we’ll find out if he managed to eff himself.

  20. BucsfaninOregon Says:

Yea Biggun, the chances of the 49rs being out of playoffs is 50-50. The chance of the Bucs making it to NFC playoffs is 0.00. Karma isn’t coming on this topic.

  21. Beeej Says:

Mike played in eight games last year, was only in a factor in one of those, we don’t need to pay 22 million for that

  22. ModHairKen Says:

    What a moron.

  23. Sal Volatile Says:

Maybe somewhere deep in the back of Evans’ mind was the following thought ; What if the Bucs screw up and somehow Baker gets away this year. Will Baker risk injury and possible career changing events on his last year ? Sean Sullivan said on the podcast he had them at 6 wins for now. Will Baker be happy if he thinks every game will have to be a shoot out ? I don’t blame Mike for leaving at all. It’s just as much about business for Mike as it is for the owners. Remember when it went down to the last minute for Bowles to get Mike his thousand yards. Then coming back after a bad injury and playing his heart out he gets 3rd and 28 ? I see no reason for Baker to feel confident or even trusting. All Baker has to do is hint about wanting out. That’s a nightmare situation. If the Bucs play great this year Baker’s value goes up and he’ll get offers. If the Bucs defense plays poorly (optimism anyone?) regardless of Baker’s play his value goes down and he could be looking at backup roles. How much does he believe in Zac ? Unless Zac performs miracles will the owners hire him as HC or tear it down and rebuild. Does anyone believe, even with an infusion of talent (rookies), that Bowles and his staff will suddenly dramatically improve ?

One more thing, Baker lost Mike Evans.

The game of chicken is underway.

  24. Stpetematt Says:

Imagine putting the personnel on defense we had for out last Super Bowl win right now all on our defense- we’ve got Lavonte and White, Barrett still in his prime, JPP, etc etc. all at their ages and skill level they were back then. Now stop and be honest with yourself- how excited about having an awesome defense would you be this year? Would you expect the same or similar performance level from them? I would.
This means the issues are with the personnel, NOT THE COACH!!! No matter how much people like to pretend otherwise, Bowles is very knowledgeable and fielded an incredible defense in that Sper Bowl and outsmarted Andy Reid by blitzing minimally and using 3 safety looks.

  25. buc4evr Says:

I’m kind of thinking that Licht drafts Sadiq to help replace Evans to some degree because he is big and fast. Should be a very interesting draft. BTW, both Culpepper and Dunn didn’t think that the Bucs had a chance at the SB and left the Bucs – look what happened. lol.

  26. Mike C Says:

    Efff that guy

  27. Sal Volatile Says:

The owners took Mike Evans for granted and he recognized that. He left and I wish him the very best. The owners seem to be taking Baker for granted as well.

  28. firethecannons Says:

They have a professional at the Offensive Coordinator position. That matters, Bucs had Grizzard with no experience.

  29. Oxycondomns Says:

big ole wr probably he said

  30. OLDSCHOOL1976 Says:

Don’t understand why people can’t see this as win win. Mike gets one of the best OCs in the NFL and we are not paying 20-25 million while we rebuild. As I said I want all the best for him and hope he stays healthy but odds and Father Time are against him. Let’s see how it plays out before passing judgement and again any personal attacks or ill will towards Mike is just sad. He was the best of the best Pro while he was here and we were lucky he was a Buc

  31. Rod Munch Says:

I just saw some news that Baker’s wife had a kid today – congrats!

Also saw a video from five months ago where e2 said they should name the kid Maverick – and apparently that is what they went with. Maverick Mayfield is a pretty cool name I must say.

  32. Kenton Smith Says:

And Purdy was working out with Kittle? Aren’t those guys on the sidelines most of the time? Hard getting in a workout when you’re rehabbing most of the time. Oh well, Mike oughta fit right in with that group.

  33. SC Bucs fan Says:

Eh I wish Evans well unless he plays against us. Players are about the name on the back of the jersey not the emblem on the helmet. 99% of players are.

One key factor you forgot to mention, the defensive players of the SB team were playing for Bruce Arians as head coach. Bowles was still new and fresh to them. Bowles is like the house guest that drinks up all your beer and stayed too long.

    ——-

And yet over the final 6 games of the season…

Bucs points against… 10th in the NFL
Bucs points scored… 28th in the NFL

One side did its job, one side let the team down. Well, one player let the team down.

  36. DBS Says:

Don’t care about Evans or anyone that has left for another team. They’re no longer our players. So long! Move on.

  37. Sal Volatile Says:

For all those crapping on Mike, he showed his appreciation to his fans and the community in many ways for many years. True fans of his will understand that he just did what he had to do and it had nothing to do with them. They may be disappointed or in some cases saddened but not mean spirited.

The think l love about the San Francisco 49ers

They are not stuck on one position like Edge Rusher
Last year they only had 20 sacks as a team, but they made the playoffs
They had a lot of injuries, more than the Bucs
But they always found a way to grind out wins

    Instead of looking for excuses

Mike is in a good place, with a good football team

  43. DBS Says:

Sal don’t pay attention to Munchkin. He comes here strictly to start arguments and fights about Baker anyway he can. He’s use to bully everyone on the site. Doesn’t work anymore. If Baker does leave he will just find something else to start fighting about.

  44. Usfbucs Says:

I could see ME pull a hammy and barely be a factor but I could also see him have an absolutely monster season. Kittle is at least out to start the season but could miss up to half the season. ME should have a high number of targets.

  45. NativeSid Says:

I understand the hatred towards Mike Evans. I felt it hard core right after he left. Then I imagined having only a few years left in a career and watching Licht refuse to make trades to get something going last year, watching Bowles sh!t the bed repeatedly and again being handed the keys to the team. I thought about how bad it must’ve been during the lost decade. Then I realized I would’ve done the exact same thing. You’ve got to think that our anger about the cluelessness of the front office would be 10 times as bad for him.

    That alleviated my anger completely

  46. Sal Volatile Says:

Rod is so dense between the ears he doesn’t even recognize the barb.

  47. KABucs Says:

    Purdy’s a dork.
    Baker’s way cooler.
    LOL

Kittle started all this crap. Glad he’s turned out to be a meh tight end now past his prime. These new young TEs that hit the league in the last 3 or 4 years are way better.
Mike may have gotten there too late. Kittle and McCaffrey aren’t exactly fresh and in the middle of their primes any longer. Lots of injuries lately.
At least when Mike pulls his hammy, and you know he eventually will, they can all hang out in the ice tub together… along with 40% of the 9ers… b!+ching about that generator next door.

  48. Steve V. Says: Says:

  49. Rod Munch Says:

How come all the Baker Boi(s) aren’t congratulating Baker on the new baby like I did? I’m going to guess its because they’re all jealous of his wife, and they think if Baker had only chosen them to marry, then he’d truly be happy.

  53. Shake&Baker Says:

Stfu old school. We are most likely going to win the division again. Hardly a “rebuild.” Root for another team loser!

  54. Obvious One Says:

Listen, what’s CLEAR is that some of you ARE TRIPPIN!

Mike Evans left for his own sanity! The Glazers have.NO BUSINESS owning a PRO FOOTBALL TEAM JUST TO GET IT STARTED! Perhaps YOU (THE WAS AND NEVER WILL BE) WOULD CERTAINLY PLAY THE F..O..O..L..! but other “Grown Men” have A FAR MORE CLEAR VEIW of what Sanity and Success ….. IS!

And forcing BOZO THE CLOWN ON ALL OF THE ENTIRETY OF BUCCANEER NATION, to run ALL OF SPORTS BIGGEST LOSERS OF ALL TIME, “AGAIN”, (because OF the glazers and bozo, and maybe licht too), IS FITTING WITH THE CHILDREN RUNNING THE ORGANIZATION! WHAT A JOKE OF AN OWNERSHIP! AND WHAT KIND OF A JOKE OF A FAN “ACTUALLY BELIEVES” MIKE EVANS SHOULD ABSOLUTELY WASTE HIS LAST FEW YEARS ON THIS CLOWN SHOW, D..A..M..N..ED TO LOSERVILLE UNTIL ANYBODY AT ALL THAT HAS A CLUE AS TO HOW TO RUN A PRO ORGANIZATION, CARES AT ALL ABOUT ACTUALLY WINNING, FINALLY COMES ALONG!!!!!!!!!

And I suppose that the other current GREAT (THAT SAW NOTHING WORTH PLAYING FOR ANYMORE), ” LA Vonte David” WAS A USELESS LIER AS WELL????

Neither one of the ULTIMATE LEADERS OF THE TEAM was willing to THROW AWAY ANYMORE OF THEIR LIFE PLAYING FOR THE JOKE OF ALL OWNERS, THE GLAZERS, AND THE LIE OF ALL HEAD COACHES, the USELESS, DRAB, WADDLING, NON SUCCESSFUL DEFENSIVE coach BOZO the bowles….

GROW UP AND WAKE UP! WHAT THE H&LL DO YOU THINK YOU WERE WITNESSING WITH YOUR VERY OWN EYES LAST YEAR WITH THE ENTIRE WORLD SHAKING THEIR HEADS IN DISGUST AND SHAME?

You people act like you have no clue what a joke it REALLY WAS….. PLEASE! WAKE UP!

P.S., BTW…. IT’S NOT OVER YET! We all still have our very own CLOWN waddling around!

AND WHY WOULD THE ONES THROWING THE CHAMPION OF THIS TEAM, that NEVER EVER WANTED TO LEAVE HERE UNDER THE BUS? IT’S BECAUSE YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A LOSER AND YOU WILL NEVER TASTE, MUCH LESS UNDERSTAND WINNING AND THE SACRIFICES A WINNER MADE TO SUPPORT THIS TEAM FOR OVER A DECADE! And then to THROW YOU AWAY LIKE TRASH! YOU WOULD STICK AROUND FOR THAT? WELL OF COURSE YOU WOULD! YOU’RE A DESPERATE AND NEEDY, LOSER CHILD! OF COURSE YOU’LL BE DISGRACED AND SUCKLE ON THE HIND TEET… YOU’RE A DESPERATE LOSER. NOT A WINNER… No, Not only will you NEVER qualify, you’re just not bright enough to get it!

WINNERS WON’T TOLERATE IT. NOR DO THEY HAVE TO!

Enjoy the smells in the “empty den of depression”! Humans REALLY ARE SUCKERS!

  55. BuccinBaker6, Says:

I get it Now Mike Left the Bucs only because they kept Bowles Baker is better then Purdy the Bucs beat the 49ers last year with a bunch of starters he just didn’t believe in Bowles no more that 3rd an 28 did something to Mike I really wish he would have finished his career in Tampa like Lavonte

  56. Kenton Smith Says:

Rod Munch. “No”. “You’re welcome”. Funny stuff. Last 6 games of the year, Rod. You are fond of saying our offense was 28th in the league in offense and 10th in the league on defense in those 6 games. Yes, we only scored 121 points in those 6 games. And we only allowed 127 points in those games. So any idiot knows 2 of those games in rainstorms helps the defense 10 points a game and hurts the offense 10 points a game. Our team wasn’t good enough to make the playoffs. Starting with the defense. We will find out what the team thinks the culprit was the next 3 days. That top 10 ranking our defense rolled out those last 6 weeks was a mirage- and anyone looking closely at it knows it.

  57. Lakeland Says:

San Francisco has a better overall team
The Bucs are a bunch of weaklings
A few I injuries and they lay down and get stepped on
San Fran had more injuries and grinded it out.
And got a playoff berth in the strongest division in the NFL

Mike want to go out on top, and get into the HOF.
I don’t blame him for jumping ship.
You have to lookout for yourself, no one else will

    I salute Mike Evans

  58. Kenton Smith Says:

Obvious one. How did we throw Mike under the bus? We offered him alot more money than the Niners did. Mike made the decision all by his lonesome. Head scratching to some of us but let’s move on, shall we?

  59. Kenton Smith Says:

Lakeland, the Niners won 6 games! in 2024. We beat them last year. By 11 points. They aren’t near as good a team as we are and you don’t know what you’re talking about half the time.

  60. Lakeland Says:

Jason Licht better get this draft right
And bring in some players that want to play
And get rid of these loafers on the roster

  61. Simeon4HOF Says:

Someone tell kittle their window already closed and he ain’t getting no ring

  62. Kenton Smith Says:

Peyton Manning had a career completion percentage of 65.3. Tom Brady career completion 64.3. John Elway career completion rate 56.9. Joe Montana career completion rate of 63.2. Troy Aikman career completion rate of 61.5. Baker Mayfield career completion rate of 63.5. And BBBB. Purdy has missed so many games compared to those 6 QBS he hasn’t reached the minimum amount of tosses to qualify to be mentioned in the same breath with these truly elite QBs. Go bark up another tree and act like you’ve got good sense. It’ll be tough for you, granted.

  63. Rod Munch Says:

Kenton Smith – The offense averaged 20.1 points per game over that span, which is inflated by the fact the Dolphins went to a prevent and let the the Bucs score a garbage time TD – so the real average is 19 points per game. But still, give them 20.1 points per game – the league average over that same period of time was 23 points per game, so the Bucs were nearly 3 points per game worse than average – or 4 points per game if you remove the garbage time score.

At the same time, the defense gave up 21.1 points per game vs the league average of of 23 points per game, meaning the defense was nearly 2 points per game better than average over that same span.

Again, one side did it’s job over that span – one side didn’t.

The defense was an issue over the course of the full year, and they stunk in the Falcons game – but it wasn’t the defense that cost the Bucs those 4 games in a row. Every single one of those loses you can point to HUGE negative plays by Baker in key situations that directly caused each loss. Even the Falcons game – a game where we knew going the defense was going to get lit up – all Baker had to do was not throw THE worst INT I’ve ever seen in my life and the Bucs win. Even worse than that was on the final Bucs drive, all Baker had to do was complete a pass I could literally throw, and the Bucs run out the clock and win the game.

Baker was terrible over that 4-game losing streak – and if you go back before that span, I actually had faith in Baker to bounce back from his midseason funk, I literally put money on him (actual cash) only to have him fall flat on his face. Baker HAS to play much better this season or the Bucs aren’t winning – everyone is getting fired and Baker almost certainly won’t be back. If you think he can play like he did from week 7 on last year and still stick around, it’s just nonsense.

And again, I hope he does bounce back since I’m a lifelong Bucs fan. If people are chanting MVP in week 16, instead of week 6, and they’re not being sarcastic, then fantastic, the Bucs are winning and Baker will get a long term deal.

  64. MelvinJunior Says:

Yeah, that’s a tough group to have to cover in the RedZone. Will definitely be interesting. The Niners have a real shot if they can just stay healthy for once. Ayuik is a POS.

  65. MelvinJunior Says:

  68. Oneilbuc Says:

Mike C. Why do you guys call everything hate when people are telling the truth about Baker Mayfield or any other player on the team y’all like? Saying that Baker Mayfield has choked in every big game is not hating it’s the truth. I don’t think that bucs fans wants to see Baker Mayfield fail. I’ve given him his credit when he’s played good and fact I was one of the ones who saying he was leading the MVP the first half of the season. I even gave him a pass for throwing a pick in the red zone that lost the game against the eagles because he started off so good and I don’t expect him or any player to play good every game. But we have to stop with excuses for him that we don’t give to other players.

  70. Oneilbuc Says:

DBS. That’s the only thing y’all say you a fan of this guy or that guy no I’m a real bucs fan and I don’t care about the players like you do. Maybe your just a Baker fan and that’s why you got your rose color glasses on for Baker Mayfield. You can’t tell the truth about Baker choking in playoffs or win or go home type of games. That’s why I can give Baker Mayfield credit when he plays good and criticize him when he plays bad .

Well, Boooo-Hooooo, Hoooooo. I’m a petty little CHILD, who wishes severe major career ending injuries to people, because I am SO weak and insecure. A supposed “ADULT,” who gets their poor widdle feelins hoit over a ‘professional’ ATHLETE choosing to take A LOT LESS MONEY, and doing what is best for HIMSELF, and HIS family. YOU were never this so-called “Mike Evans Fan” to begin with, so I expect for YOU to still be BITTER on the day he walks into THE NFL HOF as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer. Because, you are a WEAK child. 💯

  76. MelvinJunior Says:

Actual REAL “ADULTS” can remember their ‘all-time’ favorite Mike Evans memories and plays over the past DECADE+, and STILL be happy for him and wish him well. While, being glad that he’s STILL burning to play and that he’s get a chance at a fresh start versus retiring. WEAK immature individuals wish him real harm. It’s all about their own damaged egos… They are very insecure individuals. 💯

The 49ers didn’t. They “paid” nowhere near that. But, the BUCS sure did… For CHRIS Freaking GODWIN. Exactly that! Actually, X2… That will most likely be X3, when it’s all said and done. $66-MIL, and $44-MIL 💯 FULLY GUARANTEED.

  79. MelvinJunior Says:

@ Sal Volatile – It is a Business FIRST. Mike had to take EVERYTHING into account that factored in his decision. Including, being moved at the trade-deadline, by a Bucs Franchise that is “SELLING” (and heading towards a complete rebuild) during the midst of a BAD season. So, for all of these wounded little children out there… Don’t you think for even a SECOND, that the Bucs FO wouldn’t ‘move HIM’ in a heartbeat to pick up a 2027 2nd-Rounder, (&/or) ‘multiple’ 2027-PICKS, if given the opportunity to do so. And, they would be NEGLIGENT if they didn’t. To the fans, to themselves, to Mike himself (not going through ANY “rebuilds” at HIS age), and to EVERYONE. That is because, it is a freaking BUSINESS. It works BOTH ways! So, Get TF OVER IT.

OLDSCHOOL1976 Says: “Let’s see how it plays out before passing judgement and again any personal attacks or ill will towards Mike is just sad. He was the best of the best Pro while he was here and we were lucky he was a Buc.”

Yeah, it just says A LOT more about them themselves. It’s PATHETIC. I mean, wouldn’t you just HATE to be THEM and have to live THEIR LIFE!? Sheeez. I could not even imagine. What total LOSERS.

  81. MelvinJunior Says:

Mike only took his OWN life, and his OWN career into his OWN hands, for himself and his family FIRST. It’s a Business. NOT your weird ‘adult’ Fantasyland, that you are stuck inside of.

“This means the issues are with the personnel, NOT THE COACH!!! No matter how much people like to pretend otherwise, Bowles is very knowledgeable and fielded an incredible defense in that Sper Bowl and outsmarted Andy Reid by blitzing minimally and using 3 safety looks.”

Hahah There is A LOT to unpack there! LoL

Obvious One hits the nail on the head here. 💯

@ Kenton Smith Says: “Peyton Manning had a career completion percentage of 65.3. It’ll be tough for you, granted.”

What a complete focking MORON. There is absolutely NO WAY, that you actually believe what you are saying. YOU are Baker’s FAMILY. Otherwise, an extremely weird, sad individual to follow ANY ‘professional’ athlete around like that. As an “ADULT.” There will NEVER be any point in time, where BAKER’s name will be mentioned in the same conversations as any of THOSE GUYS you just mentioned. Not Now. Not 5-Years from now. NOT 10-20 years from now. NOT EVER. He’ll never be ‘remembered’ for ANYTHING other than being a former Heisman Trophy Winner, and a former #1-Pick. Who was a BUST in the NFL. I mean, that’s pretty damn good. At least HE WILL be remembered. Just NOT for his NFL career, and definitely NOT in that same list of QB’s. It’s ABSURD to say, or to even THINK otherwise. Mr. “Baker will be a ‘first-ballot’ HOF’er, who’s career is just now beginning.” Lmfao. DELUSIONAL. All Fantasy. WEIRD.

@ Oneilbuc Says: “DBS. That’s the only thing y’all say you a fan of this guy or that guy no I’m a real bucs fan and I don’t care about the players like you do. Maybe your just a Baker fan and that’s why you got your rose color glasses on for Baker Mayfield.”

THIS is IT. I just cannot understand it. It’s mind-blowing. “ADULTS!?” It’s gotta be “FAMILY.” Cause, NO ONE can be that kind of hardcore “Fan Boi.” 💯 It’s the only thing that can explain it. Several of them ONLY post to come on here to defend HIM. If it’s not about BAKER, then they are nowhere to be found. All Crickets. Until, again, when something (they perceive to be) ‘negative’ towards BAKER… Ohhhh, here THEY COME, Baby!!!!! 💯
