Appreciate Ira’s take on Bowles lack of talent to work with at DE for this ‘doesn’t know how to develop a rookie edge” narrative ..
We need better pass rushers! At edge and disruptive DTs!

The “old maid” take on the Russini deal is hiarious. Sports is simply another entertainment industry, nothing more. Very little life altering news to report, and as we saw during Covid, life continues without it. If she’s a prosecutor sleeping with the judge, a supreme court justice owned by a billionaire, etc., it’s a completely different story. In this case it’s just two consenting adults enjoying their time together, which should be of no concern to anyone else imo. But that doesn’t work in the TMZ society of America today… so glad I don’t live there anymore lol.

Cornelius: The problem is, even if the Bucs drafted Rueben Bain Jr., Bowles would have him playing like Conrad Bain, Mr.Drummond from Different Strokes.

Smoke:
Pretty sure your comment is misplaced, but damn what a beautiful one-liner.

Ira, Ira, Ira…..
Forever the Bowles apologist for a bad defensive scheme that doesn’t elevate players and doesn’t put them in the best spot to be successful.
That said, the guy the 3 of you interviewed was spot on about 1 thing….
There is no one (other than Baker) on the roster that inspires or ‘jacks up’ fans during the game. Not like the days of those Alstott runs – brought fans to their feet, electrified the stadium – serious goose bumps. There’s no personality on Defense – no Sapp, Brooks, Lynch, Rice or JPP, etc… no attitude from anyone on that side of the ball – just ho-humm.
The Defense
