Bucs Add Receiver David Sills

Today the Bucs signed free agent receiver David Sills, who played for Atlanta last year, where new Bucs offensive coordinator Zac Robinson called the plays. In 2023, then-new Bucs playcaller Dave Canales saw receiver David Moore added to the Bucs roster, a guy who had been with Canales for years in Seattle.
Moore scored a touchdown for the Bucs and had 5 total catches. Sills had a career-high 18 catches last season for the Falcons, including 2 touchdowns and 191 yards receiving.
Sills already has a place in Bucs history for catching the infamous 4th-and-14 ball from Kirk Cousins in December, the one that glued Team Glazer to its suite TV.
Undrafted in 2019, Sills has bounced around the NFL with stops at Buffalo, New York (Giants) and Atlanta.

Never heard of him before last year then you start watching constantly beating Bucs DB’s…..
Evidently, he flourishes in Robinsons offensive scheme so this is a good depth piece…

Hopefully he’s smart enough to help the receivers learn the offense. He probably is and that’s probably one of the reasons they signed him.

Robinson is going to add his players who know his system. Yes I don’t see Shepard making this team. Maybe Sills would also be good on ST. Hopefully with the new coach that unit improves, because they have been awful for a couple of years, but last year they were down right pathetic!!!. They were worse than the defense.

a z-rob signing right here…but this guy seemed to have a little bit of impact when he played the bucs…
so z-rob must have marched into licht’s office saying…
“big dog, the only reason i came here is because of big mike, and you lost him broheimer !…well then at least get me dave sils !”

i’m a bit speechless…but i’ll roll with it…
my only thought was skooly must have really flopped out in minny, because he was absolutely “one and done” over there…
nacho was kind of quiet with the giants for a couple years…
and sils was involved in the 3rd and 28 fiasco…i remember him making some key grabs vs us last year – and was like “who the f is this guy!”

This is Definitely someone you want who is your 5th or 6th WR he has Started Games an Has Experience an he also has played Special teams Jason an his staff are Really Upgrading the Back end of the Roster LFG Bucs

You guys remember this guys bio..real interesting. Lane Kiffen USC offered him a scholarship to play qb in the 7th grade! Sills ended up going to West Virginia as Sarkisian usc offered sills and 2 other qbs schollies at usc, one was sam darnold. Ended up signing with west virginia and not making starting qb and so he switched to wr during freshmen season at UWV and had 2 real productive season at wr for west virginia with 33tds in junior and senior seasons

this signing is more bad juju for the Bucs -maybe Sills is Randy Moss but that means Sterling Shepard the Baker amulet is probably out – the vibe has shifted with the loss of LVD Evans Dean – it just feels off – not a team but a collection of players – who is gonna lead this team ? Baker ? Wirfs ? Winfield ? Bowles lol ?
