My uncle and grandfather watch(ed) every sport including golf. Well, except soccer. I tried to get into baseball basketball and hockey, but they’re just boring. Football is like Harry Potter’s wizard chess. Cerebral, but violent.

I agree mostly with the negative basketball comments, but the NCAA Tournament is completely different. I’ll watch EVERY TIME, because I am a SPORTS Fan. And, you still cannot beat it 💯. Regular season college basketball has been TRASH now, for over 20+YEARS. I mean, think about it… You ELIMINATED at least ‘100-STARS’ from the game right off the bat, when about 30-DUDES left early every year (X that by 4-years worth of talent). Back in the day (in the 80’s thru the mid to late 90’s), EVERY top-team had at least 2-3 STUDS and you knew who they were. I mean, that’s taking away 3-4 STARS away from the Top 30-40 TEAMS in the country. Used to EVERYBODY had at least one or two STUDS who could SCORE. But, that was completely eliminated when EVERYONE left early outta HS thru their Soph. Seasons. And, then the one and done. NOW, at least with NIL the teams at the very top are LOADED and the ‘talent-level’ is STRONG. It’s made the Power-2 (SEC and BIG10) major football conferences’s teams (with football money) STACKED now, and they are DOMINATING. So, at least we do have that now, which at least makes those games watchable.

But, the NBA… Forget about it. HORRIBLE. And, their ratings prove it! MLB and baseball in general, is where it’s at now. PERIOD. Through the new rules, they have now overtaken the NBA as our country’s #2 Sport. And, college baseball is EXPLODING. Especially, in THE SEC (and ACC). With NIL now, you have STUDS choosing college over going straight to the Minor Leagues. I mean, the overall talent-level is INSANE. Top TOP Prospects and future 1st-Round Picks are littered all across the field, & universities are investing HUGE $$$$ on new stadiums, pitching and hitting labs, baseball-only indoor training facilities, luxury suites, you NAME IT. I DVR ALL THE GAMES. Watched Texas beat tge hell outta Oklahoma, in a Top-10 matchup. I watched FOUR ‘Top-21’ PROSPECTS (4 future 1st-Round Picks in the 2026 draft) play last weekend in the Georgia Tech versus Wake Forrest Game. It’s sooo AWESOME NOW, that we can see these games on the SEC and ACC networks. I mean, TOP TOP TALENT at such a VERY HIGH-level, it’s crazy!!!! They’re showing more and more of these games every year, now!!!! They should have even more. I say, bring it on. I LOOOOVE all the new stadiums. They all have their own little quirks and uniquenesses. It’s SO AWESOME. USF stole a helluva manager/head coach from Evansville, and they are really looking good right now, too!!!! Let’s GO
