  1. Crickett Baker Says:

I sure don’t think Mike would move his whole family for one year in an unfamiliar environment. I find it ridiculous even to think he would leave the Bucs at this point in his career.

  2. LynchMob50 Says:

Still haven’t heard a comprehensive assessment of the reasons for the collapse of 2025.

Are we just going to ignore what we all watched?

When you fail to prepare, then you are preparing to fail.

Does anyone really think the issue was Grizzard and some of the lower-level defensive staff?

Guess that is how you win Superbowls.

  3. Pewter Power Says:

Zac Robinson and Baker don’t need to sell Mike Evans on the Bucs super bowls chances. Bowles and his trash defense has to sell Evans. I think money matters to the agent, championships matter to Evans

    Neither has Joe.

  5. Kenton Smith Says:

Wow. Even old Junebug’s ears perked up hearing that Mayfield may be a bit irked with Bowles. We lost the New England game and I said at the time I didn’t remember ever seeing a team throw 3 TD passes and have zero turnovers and lose the game. Then we lost to Buffalo scoring 32 points missing 2 extra points. For good measure our kickoff team gave Allen possession at midfield after our 6 scores. So he ran for 3 TDS and threw for 3 TDS. The aforementioned Patriot game we gave up 4 TDS of over 60 yards. An NFL record or close to it. I think Mayfield was losing patience with the coaches game plan about then. 4 losses to weaker opponents followed, each one conservatively game planned and called. All 4 razor close. Falcons, Saints, Dolphins, and Panthers. Win those 6 late season games we’re 14-3 heading into the playoffs. Yes, injuries hurt us. But coaching killed us. When your defense and special teams suck you can’t have a conservative offensive game plan. Baker felt that early on and I’m sure he knew it would lead to disappointment. I’m sure they have discussed it and it’ll be important to Baker that Todd not meddle with our offense. And I think Zac has the experience to not let Bowles cut his gonads. But Steve is right. Baker never mentioned Bowles once in 16 minutes and twice at the podium when he had the chance.
