Baker Mayfield Is A Third-Down Monster

January 18th, 2026

Baller on third downs.

The way the second-half of the 2025 season shook out, “this Joe” was very down on Baker Mayfield. But in the very same paragraph, “this Joe” is adamant that no quarterback this side of Pat Mahomes has better intangibles.

(The “other Joe” was not down on Mayfield and finds his intangibles overrated after a massive team collapse.)

If half of the Bucs last season had half the heart Mayfield has, Joe is likely writing here about a Bucs divisional round playoff game preview.

Maybe not even Mahomes has a bigger pair than Mayfield.

The evidence for Joe is how Mayfield, ever since he came to the Bucs in 2023, has had scoring drives kept alive by his savvy third-down running. Mayfield quite possibly is the best in the league at this. In fact, he is the best in the NFC at this.

No one in the NFC converted first downs by running on third down at a higher rate than Mayfield. Last season he did this at a 72 percent clip.

No quarterback in the NFL had a higher yards-per-attempt on third down than Mayfield. And only one quarterback, Buffalo’s Josh Allen, has converted more first downs running on third down than Mayfield.

But as former Bucs’ Super Bowl-winning coach Bucco Bruce Arians likes to say, when a quarterback puts himself in harm’s way, harm will find him. And Joe believes that’s what happened to Mayfield this season.

Those runs caught up with him and he was very likely beat to hell, which screwed up his passing game.

At the end of the day, a quarterback is judged on his passing, not his feet. And Mayfield’s passing was bad after the bye.

Still, when it comes to intangibles and savvy running, it’s awfully hard to beat Mayfield. Would the Bucs be drafting in the top-10 this spring if not for Mayfield’s legs?

That’s great…he still is NOT a Super Bowl QB

  2. Tye Says:

IF the Bucs would just reverse course and make Klint Kubiak the Bucs next HC, the Future would be BRIGHT in Tampa!

  3. Attaboy Says:

Vancouver you know nothing about football talent, obviously.

  4. Bucblind II Says:

    Mayfield is a proven stud

  5. Gipper Says:

  6. Bucblind II Says:

    🤣🤣

  7. Bucblind II Says:

It is funny that Josh Allen has 2 interceptions and 2 fumbles today. No one is saying he can’t win a superbowl. I mean the irony is thick. Some people just unjustifiably hate Mayfield.

  8. @ifwelinkyouwon Says:

Baker should leave after this next year. This organization is not helping him at all. Sammy Darnold is about to be in the SB and he was his damn backup!!!!!

  9. Attaboy Says:

Didn’t Baker beat Sam Darnold who just spanked the 49ers and are going to the NFC Championship game. Seattle also has one of the best defenses in the league and Baker spanked them at home. In fact, against the run Seattle is #1. Strange how Baker can pull that off and people hate him so much they ignorantly say he CANT get a team to the superbowl. Astounding, simply astounding.

  10. Sly Pirate Says:

    And then … A 4th Quarter INT

  11. Oneilbuc Says:

Y’all can pump Baker Mayfield up and come up with all these meaningless stats all y’all want. Baker is not a Superbowl quarterback the bucs will not win or go to a Superbowl with Baker Mayfield. He chokes in big games all the time and he’s 1-9 in prime time games that’s not a franchise quarterback. So when the schedule comes out you can pencil in loses in all the games that’s played at night. Thursday night, Monday night, and Sunday night games all will be loses so that’s 3 losses right there. It’s time to move on from Baker Mayfield after this year because it will be the same results and the defense will get the blame and it would be because Baker is hurt lol watch and see.

  12. Attaboy Says:

And then the leagues best qb, Allen, turns the ball over 4 times and looses the game. So what, it happens. Turns out Baker ISNT the only qb that makes mistakes. Get over your hate for the guy. We all remember how he spanked those good defenses when he was healthy this year. We all remember how he was playing so well he was the obvious MVP. Head and shoulders better than all the other quarterbacks and that was with backups on the line and receivers. If you don’t hate Baker you know what we got at the quarterback position. If you hate him no amount of proof will change your mind because it’s personal with you haters. We all know if the team can stay healthy and we get a good OC and the line protects Baker there is no stopping him and no stopping this team with him at quarterback.

  13. MadMax Says:

First pick of the draft, since this is a wash year, should be a Guard….2nd pick, C, move Barton to LG

  14. MadMax Says:

Olaivavega Loane (G) first, Parker Brailsford (C) second…..

  15. MadMax Says:

oneill, we’ll never win a superbowl with todd you idiot!! but go ahead and keep blaming Baker

    3rd and 28 bih

  16. MadMax Says:

RB Jonah Coleman 3rd….since todd loves to turtle and go conservative…

    There i did it

    1st Loane
    2nd Brailsford
    3rd Coleman

4th and the rest dont care

  17. MelvinJunior Says:

Well, I called the first two right… Harrball to Giants, and Stefanski to the ATL. Both total ‘no-brainers’ all the way around, no matter how you look at it!!!! MAN, that is great hire by Atlanta. Harrball has a pretty stacked roster with THREE ‘high-end’ EDGE-Rushers (if he can get Carter’s head on right), & Nabers and Skatteboohoo on Offense. AND, the number 5-overall Pick in the draft. Need to keep and re-sign WanDale for Dart. I wanted to make them one of my sleepers last season, but couldn’t do it after seeing their schedule. They’ll definitely be one of this year, depending on what they do in this upcoming draft, AND whether or not IF they can extend WanDale. I would definitely NOT draft a WR that high, in this year’s draft… IF they’re going to (and failed to work-out an extension with WanDale), then I would TRADE BACK. Especially, if someone’s wanting to jump up there for QB2 or something. Stefanski’s got a few toys now, too!!!! They could really use a solid #2 alongside of Drake London… Re-sign Pitts (can ‘franchise tag’ him if they need to), and Bijan. Petter LOOK-OUT. He had some really STRONG DEFENSES Cleveland, too!!!! We’re in BIG-trouble. And, we HAD our coach. But, they let him go. Hey, WE GOT Baker & Bowles, and LICKT.

  18. MelvinJunior Says:

Just more meaningless, empty stats. GREAT QB’s WIN. At least, A LOT MORE than they LOSE. Period. End of Story. And, if we’re having to rely on BAKER’s ‘scrambling ability’ then we are in TROUBLE. What do Baker, Lamar, Herbert, and Patrick ALL have in common (actually, the ONLY ‘thing’ they have in common)… They are all BEAT THE HELL UP.

If I were the Chiefs next season (if they get off to a horrible start), I would consider SITTING Patrick for the entire season to try to help preserve his career. I mean, just watching him PLAY over the past two seasons HURTS ME. You can just see it in his face and entire body… HE is in some SERIOUS PAIN. He’s just played soooo much high-level/high-leverage FOOTBALL already, throughout his career. He’s coming up on his age 31 season, and could use all the rest he can get. There’s an awfully good chance he’s NOT cleared to play anywhere even close to Week-1 next season anyway!? And, you’re going to want to be VERY VERY cautious to begin with. So, there’s definitely a real chance. They’ve got to get Herbert an O-Line, or they’re WASTING HIM. Absolutely, ruining him.

  19. Bokeh Says:

I like Baker but I wouldn’t give him a raise this season.

  20. MelvinJunior Says:

We have a buncha aging beat up players, alongside of a buncha mediocre at best younger guys, who just also happen to pretty banged up. Our Roster is really struggling now, and BADDDDD. We have ZERO ‘high-level’ young FREAK ATHLETES on this roster. I guess, EE and Kancey is about as good as it gets FOR US. And, NOBODY’s calling either one of them a “FREAK.” Or, with very high ceilings. Just ‘potential’ Pro-Bowl ALTERNATES, at best maybe. We’re in TROUBLE.

  21. heyjude Says:

Still very happy Baker is our QB. Let him get healthy and get more help for him. Unsure about a full raise. I think Brady always took a cut so there was money to build around him; Patriots and Bucs.

Bucblind II – Absolutely agreed. After last night’s game, we may hear more fans going after Josh too. A lot of their fans want their coach fired.

  22. MelvinJunior Says:

Bokeh Says: “I like Baker but I wouldn’t give him a raise this season.”

Oh, Hail Noooo… There is ZERO reason to be in ANY type of hurry to extend HIM. He’s not going to regardless, since his agent has already said publicly, that there will be NO DISCOUNTS. Which is totally fine by ME. Let someone else Frickin’ DO-IT then. It doesn’t mean that WE have to. I have a pretty strong feeling that Good Ol’ Bake Bake will be VERY disappointed again. I don’t care what kind of ‘numbers’ he puts up next year, HE IS NOT getting anywhere NEAR 5-years/$300-MIL+. It just ain’t happenin. I would consider a 2yr/$60 with $30-MIL Guatanteed as a “BRIDGE” if we had to, depending on who the next GM and HC is and whatever THEIR timeline/plans would be. But, there is NO RUSH whatsoever, on BAKER. There’s still plentyyyyy of time left and A LOT to happen, before having to make any rash decisions on HIM. There’s a really high chance of this being Baker’s final season in Tampa Bay! VERY HIGH.

  23. MelvinJunior Says:

You cannot put Baker anywhere even close to being in the same class as Josh Allen (everyone else already KNOWS THAT, which makes it PATHETIC that I even have to say it), BUT it’s the same problems that Josh has always had, and he just canNOT seam to get past it… TURNOVERS. He knows it too! It’s just they STILL ask and expect just waaaayyy too much out of him! I mean, he can’t always be SUPERMAN every fricking time. Because, it just cannot work that way. It will ALWAYS catch up with you EVERY TIME. But, HE STILL has to learn how to protect the damn ball.

  24. Kenton Smith Says:

MelvinJunior, I don’t know where you glean your information from. Josh Allen’s last 6 playoff games before last night he had zero turnovers in all 6 of those games. Last night he wins in overtime if his receiver doesn’t have a perfect pass ripped from his hands on his way to the ground.

  25. 19kill@ Says:

Maybe he wouldn’t have had to run so much if he hit the open receivers and improved his ball placement. Just a reminder, Joe: QBs who play with M1K3 tend to look better than they actually are.

  26. Kenton Smith Says:

19kill, that would really help if then if Mike didn’t need a play or two off every time he gets hit? That’s what you’re saying? Or maybe every time one seems to hit him in the hands that he drops he needs a month off? Is that what you’re saying?

  27. Stetematt Says:

You can pick a guard in the 4th round and still get a very good one. Our top 3 should be LB/EDGE/DT in the best player value order then grab a guard and another LB.

  28. Stetematt Says:

Really, we should trade down in every round and get 1 first round, 2 second round, and 4 third round picks late.

  29. Gipper Says:

MelJr keeps proving what is wrong with public schools in America.

  30. Oneilbuc Says:

MadMax. In that same game Baker Mayfield threw a pick late in the 4th quarter and the guy ran the ball down field which put them in the red zone and it put the defense in a bad situation. And they gave up a TD . But the bucs got the ball back for another drive and they went 3 and out and Baker missed Payn Durmen wide open in the middle of the field . How about the Panthers game he threw a pick on the last drive in the 4th quarter with time to throw the ball and Godwin and Tedz Johnson was wide open . How about the 2 picks against a trash dolphins teams . Even the saints game the defense held they’re offense under 20 points and Baker threw a 4th quarter pick against them. The bucs will never win or go to a Superbowl with Baker Mayfield as the quarterback.

  31. Oneilbuc Says:

And please stop with the Baker injury excuse he showed us why he’s on his 4th team 6 games in a row he was the reason why we lost those games. When Jamies was the quarterback it was all his fault lol 🤣🤣. He had a broken finger on his throwing hand with a torn meniscus but that didn’t matter remember? Jamies had a defense that was historically bad with a trash running game in a much harder division. Jamies was told to throw 45 to 50 times a game up the field and we still had a top 5 offense every year he was our quarterback. But now Baker gets every excuse in the book lol 🤣🤣. Next year will be the same thing same lame excuses game after game it was the defense fault, it was the o line fault, it was Bowles fault, it was the OC fault oh and my favorite Baker is hurt 🤕 lol 🤣🤣 .

  32. Steven007 Says:

Max, we already have our center. Bredeson. I’m okay with the move to guard for Barton. But bredeson has proven to be a better center. As for Allen versus Baker, they are actually similar players. Of course Allen is a level above Baker. Better arm and better legs but he has big game problems as well. For 6 years in a row now he has lost the final playoff game they’ve played. Bills fans are as tired of their head coach as we are of ours. For similar reasons too. But when Baker is healthy and we have a healthy o-line, he has proven to be a reliable starter.

Melvin, you mentioned Herbert above. I agree, he is being wasted there currently. They too need to get their o-line correct.

  33. Oneilbuc Says:

Attaboy. You know Baker Mayfield personally lol 🤣🤣 because I don’t and yes I hate the way he plays football. It’s crazy how fans today say people hate or love these players personally as if we know these guys personally? Lol 🤣🤣

  34. Marky mark Says:

Hey Vancouver Buc. Go back to perusing the Lions,Cancon list. Maybe Simon Frazier has,a great offensive lineman. Or us that Vancouver , Washington. The Trailblazer lost a coach to a gambling sting. Ouch. In any case guess who else is not a Super Bowl QB? Yep Josh Allen with great coaching , ownership, and Hamilton Tiger Cat fans in attendance. How about Dock man Philip Rivers or even better the Chargers Qb from Oregon near,Vancouver, WA.

  35. Oneilbuc Says:

Steven 007. I would pick Josh Allen over Baker Mayfield any time any day over Baker Mayfield that’s not even a debate. You give Josh Allen our weapons we will be a garuteed Superbowl team. You give Baker Mayfield the Bills team they don’t win 5 games you can’t compare Baker Mayfield to Josh Allen lol 🤣🤣. Josh Allen is waay better than Baker Mayfield that’s why he’s still with the team that drafted him and Baker is on his 4th team.

  36. Gipper Says:

Oneilbuc went to the same public school as MelJr.

  37. DBS Says:

Oneilbic still stuck in Jameis mode.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  39. Razorramone Says:

We wont have to worry about those prime time games this year. We’ll get Atlanta on a Thursday night and that will thankfully be that. And they will roll us up.

  40. Steven007 Says:

Oneill, of course you can compare them. I just did. And I gave Allen his flowers as the better quarterback. I don’t think that’s a controversial opinion. Would I prefer Allen on the Bucs over Baker? Of course! Again, you’re reading too much into my comment. All I was stating was the obvious which is that Allen has big game problems as well. That said, he is also clearly had more success in getting to those big games. But he’s not our quarterback nor will he be. Unfortunately. Our guy is Baker. You are clearly a huge jameis fan. I wasn’t. But when he was our quarterback, I wanted him to have great success. Obviously. It seems like that kind of concept is hard to come by for the baker haters.

  41. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Gulper trying to down play people’s intelligence quotient because they don’t like her favorite male athlete proving Forrest Gump’s mama right “stupid is as stupid does”. Bakie slurpers are truly a unique life form. Cannot handle anything remotely close to criticism of him. You can make up all the stats you want for him and twist them to “prove” your point but Baker is too short and can’t read defenses. He’s a decently athletic qb but lacks that inate ability to win those really big games. Even though Josh Allen is a much more gifted qb he’s in the same boat, choke artist. All the moxie in the world beaters will not win us any championship games because the football iq just isn’t quite there between the ears.

    DBBF99,
Fully get it. you were Oneilbuc and Meljr. public school teacher and Munch was the principal.

  43. Gipper Says:

DBBF99 and the rest antiBaker idiots,

I know statistics are hard for you to grasp; but, we use them to guage player worth. For instance, there are ZERO .250; 5 career home run hitters in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Just like in The PHF there are ZERO 1500yard career rushers or 17 career TD QB’s. Mayfield stats, in a bad year for him, were still better than Josh Allen’s for the regular season. Specifically Mayfield had 26 TD’s 11INT’s… to…. Allen 25TD’s to 10INT’s.

  44. MadMax Says:

Ok Steven, i forgot about Bred at C….thanks for reminding me….still want that Guard though…look at him….we need beef up there…..then give me TE Trigg with our 2nd…a little high i know, but he wont be there for our third.

  45. JustVisiting Says:

MelvinJunior: That’s a great sound bite, but it’s just not real. Great teams win. Great players, even QBs, may or may not.

  46. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

“Mayfield stats, in a bad year for him, were still better than Josh Allen’s for the regular season. Specifically Mayfield had 26 TD’s 11INT’s… to…. Allen 25TD’s to 10INT’s.“

    Funny.

    ‘18 Mayfield – 27TDs:14 INTs
    ‘19 Mayfield – 22TDs:21 INTs
    ‘20 Mayfield – 26TDs:8 INTs
    ‘21 Mayfield – 17TDs:13 INTs
    ‘22 Mayfield – 10TDs:8 INTs
    ‘23 Mayfield – 28TDs:10 INTs
    ‘24 Mayfield – 41TDs:16 INTs
    ‘25 Mayfield – 26TDs:11 INTs

So have they all been “bad” years with the exception of 2024? Outside of that, every other season looks pretty pedestrian.

    Also just for reference

    ‘18 Allen – 10TDs:12 INTs
    ‘19 Allen – 20TDs: 9 INTs
    ‘20 Allen – 37TDs:10 INTs
    ‘21 Allen – 36TDs: 15 INTs
    ‘22 Allen – 35TDs: 14 INTs
    ‘23 Allen – 29TDs: 18 INTs
    ‘24 Allen – 28TDs: 6 INTs
    ‘25 Allen – 25 TDs: 10 INTs

Josh Allen has outplayed Baker Mayfield for the duration of their time in the NFL, but the wild thing is, they’ve been neck and neck leading the league in INTs since entering the league as well.

Last night watching the Bills play just reinforced what I know about football. Hard to win 1-score games having coughed the ball up offensively on multiple occasions. That fumble before the half, where Denver got the 3 points up, and needed up winning by 3 says more than your average fan boy.

  47. Gipper Says:

    WarrenBrooksLoser,

I know addition is tough for you once you have used up all of your fingers and toes, so I will do the addition for your.
    Mayfield 23-25……..95TD 37INT’s…….Allen 23-25….82TD 34INT’s.

Looks like Mayfield has out passed Allen in the last 3 years.

  48. Bucblind II Says:

LittleDavyBucfan99, people handle criticism of “Bakie” fine when it is at least 50% truth but you haters are usually about 10-11% truth and that’s where we are forced to kick your a***s with a little truth of our own. And that’s where the trouble begins. Like you for instance. You started out just hating on Bakie because you really dont understand football talent. But when you “saw” what he could actually do like a true blue football fan you switched sides and came over to the light. Then after about 1.5 years Bakie fell on hard times half way through the season and then your true colors came out. You pretended that you couldn’t remember what he actually had done and couldn’t take the pressure of your JBF blogger buddies so you did what all weak minded people do, you gave in and went back to the dark side. So since you have that weak mind thing going for you, you might want to write it down and put it on your fridge so you don’t forget that Baker WAS on his way to an MVP year before he was hurt and he will be back again just like we told you he would be back in 2023. Weak minded people have to be shown something before they can believe it. And that is where you fit in, in the grand scheme of things. So try and stay within the lines when you color.

  49. Buc2Blame Says:

Joe will say anything to make us feel as if baker is him when we know BAKER IS TRASH

  50. What it is Says:

Warren, you people are so tiring. When you take over a team that for the last 2 years went 1-31 it tends to make it hard on you as you are running for your life every play. You Baker haters are truly dumb founded when it comes to seeing the whole picture. You are trulyvmissing something upstairs.

  51. Attaboy Says:

Baker was on his way to being the MVP. No one was even a close 2nd. BM6 is a great quarterback and once he heals up he’ll be back.

  52. What it is Says:

19kill, I could have sworn BM6 was killing it without Evans and Godwin in the first 6 games. But hey I guess my memory is wrong and not yours.😏

  53. Bucblind II Says:

Melvin, you mentally challenged people will never get it. So I’ll keep it simple. When healthy with a second string line and receivers Baker was everybody’s pick for MVP. He’ll be back like he always is and he will shut you mentally challenged people up again.

  54. Bucblind II Says:

I seem to remember Baker beating the team that is going to the NFC Championship game. Maybe the problem is our coaching not with our Qb. Never will get it.

  55. Attaboy Says:

So Allen had 4 turnovers and Purdy had 2 turnovers last night. Strange how those qb’s make the same kind of mistakes as our qb. Only our qb never made that many in his play off games. Funny how that works.

  56. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

“Looks like Mayfield has out passed Allen in the last 3 years.“

In reaction to being presented with a career comparison rather than the last 3 years when comparing the two, you double down on being stupid and it’s like you’re being stupid on purpose and it fits you.

  57. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

“So Allen had 4 turnovers and Purdy had 2 turnovers last night. Strange how those qb’s make the same kind of mistakes as our qb. Only our qb never made that many in his play off games. Funny how that works.”

Yea, when your primary ball carrier turns the ball over it’s almost like taking the zipper lane to a loss.

Congrats, you figured out something about how football works lol welcome to the club. Leave the glaze at your local Krispy Kreme

  58. Davyboy🏴‍☠️ Says:

    CAREER PLAYOFF PICTURE

    MAYFIELD
    TD-2.4 per game.
    Interceptions-.6 per game
    Fumbles-.2 per game
    Passing-267 per game
    Total turnovers-.8 per game
    Passer rating-105.9

    MAHOMES
    TD-2.1
    Interceptions-.5
    Fumbles-.67
    Passing-276
    Total turnovers-1.14
    Passer rating-105.4

So against the best active quarterback, Mahomes, Baker has more TD’s per game, less turnovers per game, about the same passing yards per game, 9 less, and a better Passer rating. Of course he has a better passer rating due to he chokes less than Mahomes as the facts prove. So we don’t want to hear the lies about Baker choking. The only area Mahomes is better at is he has 9 yards more per game in passing. Basically, Baker Mayfield is better in the playoffs than Mahomes. Mahomes just has the added benefit of being in an organization with the best coaching, the best winning culture and the best organization while Baker has been in some of the worst. But even with all those advantages BM6 still tops Mahomes in the playoffs. Case closed HILARIOUS

  59. Oneilbuc Says:

DBS. I’m making a point how y’all pick and choose who gets excuses because back then I didn’t most of y’all didn’t blame the defense that was ranked 32 in every stat . No one blame the OC or the running game that was ranked at the bottom. I didn’t see no blame on the play calling when your quarterback was throwing up the field 45 to 50 times a game. I see none of y’all saying he was playing injured or I didn’t see none of y’all blaming the o line that was ranked at the bottom of the NFL back then. Now those are the excuses y’all give to Baker Mayfield that’s what I’m showing y’all how bias y’all are. Lol 🤣🤣

    ====================================
Hey WBLoser, I included only the past 3 years because this being a Buc site, a reasonable Bucs fan might want to know how Mayfield compared to a comparable 3 year period for Josh Allen. On the eight year data, Allen is marginally better but not by a great deal. In 2027, if Mayfield ends up with 45TD 10INT it will be the same critical nonsense from you and your colleagues. What was it like marching in the band in high school?

  61. Oneilbuc Says:

Gipper. You not even a real bucs fan go back to Cleveland or Oklahoma where come from. Lol 🤣🤣 and guess what if Baker don’t get to a NFC Championship this year you will be following him on his 5th team saying the same stuff on that team site like you do here lol 🤣🤣.

  62. Will Says:

This team seems to get hurt a lot. We need players who can play smashmouth football and keep up with teams like Houston. Mayfield played hurt most of the season. It would be nice to have a better Oline and backups to protect him or anyone else playing for the Bucs. How can you protect your QB and the football?

  63. Oneilbuc Says:

Steven007. I wanted Baker Mayfield to play good as well bro I was rooting for him all year and I have been fair with Baker Mayfield. I’ve given him passes like in the eagles, and Rams game when he threw picks that lost those games. But we can’t keep giving him excuses when he’s put 6 games in a row of bad play. And at his age the bucs must move on are less he gets to a NFC Championship game at least. And once the year starts I will be rooting for him to play good because he’s our starting quarterback. But the bucs must draft his replacement because this team is set up for a younger quarterback to develop.

  64. Gipper Says:

    Oneilbuc,

Mayfield has the 2nd highest TD total for last 3 years than any other QB in the NFL. I know that is a hard concept for you to grasp but it is a fact. Anyone who would complain about that is just a complete fool. Not going to argue with a complete fool because then there would be 2 of us.

  65. Davyboy🏴‍☠️ Says:

    Baker-105.9
    Mahomes-105.4
And why does Baker have a better playoff passer rating than Pat? Because he throws the same yards per game, he throws more TD’s per game and he has less turnovers per game.
Thus endeth the story of Baker can’t win playoff games because he chokes ROFLMAO

The picture is beginning to come into Focus now. With the top 3 quarterbacks in the league BM6 leads them all. But the Baker haters continually insist it’s Baker that is the choke artists. But the facts paint a much bleaker picture of their opinions. Baker beats or equals the top 3 at every single turn. Thus, that is why he has the best Passer rating of ALL TIME. When the money is on the Baker is the best.

  67. Mobucs Says:

I’m making no comparison’s to Baker (well, maybe, a little), but you can’t blame Josh Allen for “singlehandedly” –to use a popular word around here– losing the game for the Bills last night. The refs always bail out the Broncos. It took them until overtime to remember that there was a penalty for pass interference. Hankies stayed in their pockets when Bills receivers were manhandled.

    CAREER PLAYOFF PICTURE

    Aaron Roger’s
    Turnovers-1.0 per game
    TD’s-2 per game
    Passing-274 per game
    Passer rating-100.1

    Matthew Stafford
    Turnovers-1.0
    TD’s-1.9
    Passing-300
    Passer rating-102.3

As we continue down the list of great playoff qb’s none equal Baker Mayfield. But we know from the Baker haters he is a choker in the playoffs. What we really learn is BM6 is a TD machine in the playoffs.

  69. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

Gulper Davyboy and all your other Baker gulpers you can create twist and form all the stats and comparisons to greater qbs you want but he doesn’t compare to Patrick Mahomies in any way shape or form. He can’t hold Mahomes jock strap like y’all wear Baker’s as a face mask.
First off Mahomies has more regular season wins, td passes, playoff and Super Bowl wins than Baker so stop your madness. Mahomes is a star qb Baker is the guy you pick because he’s better than your backup qb and that’s basically all. You cannot depend on Baker and he is more liable to lose you the game with a late game pick fumble or simply being unable to get the job done as he is to win with his heroics. He has great moments even games but will never be a great qb so stop comparing him to Brady or Mahomes. His competitiveness and fake bravado comes from a place of weakness, always feeling he has to prove people wrong where as Mohomes and Brady’s comes from a place of strength, self assurance. That’s why you Baker gulpers are mentally weak and why you back a guy like Baker

  70. Davyboy🏴‍☠️ Says:

Ya see Littleboyblindtothefacts, this is why we never solve anything on this site. You haters hate so bad it blinds you to the facts of the matter. And the matter is that BM6 has less turnovers, more TD’s, more passing yards and a far better passer rating than all these great quarterbacks. But you will never admit to defeat because your egos won’t allow it but the facts still remain that in every category the NFL uses to judge a quarterbacks performance Baker leads them all and it is one of the most hilarious things I have ever seen, what a joke. ROFLMAO
Oh and by the way, I ran Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrows and it’s more of the same. Money Mayfield STILL plays better.

  71. Davyboy🏴‍☠️ Says:

It’s why his passer rating is the best, just in case you conveniently forgot already.

  72. Gipper Says:

Would love to see DBBF99, Oneilbuc and WarrenBrooksLoser be team captains in a football game versus team captains RodMunch and Meljr. We can call it the Moron Bowl. Winning the coin toss, DBBf99 gets to throw out the first non sequitur.

  73. Davyboy🏴‍☠️ Says:

This is another problem with the haters, they don’t listen. I never said Baker was better Warren. I said 2 things, 1-he plays quarterback in the playoffs better and 2-other than Joe Burrows Baker has less turnovers per game than all of them, including Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes. Burrows’ turnover rate is .6 per game to .8 of Bakers. Everybody else is worse, way worse for some of them. Proving all the times Rod Munch, Oneil, Bee, Melvin and DBBF99 incessantly claimed Baker was a choker they were wrong. They couldnt have been more wrong. Over and over again ad nauseam they spewed the lie, that he was. All because he threw an interception and fumbled one time. The lesson to learn from this is to think before you type, bois. That is, if you care about the honesty factor, of which I think some of you couldn’t care less about that. Anyway, Baker wins again.

  74. HeavyE Says:

Damn, CJ Stroud is playing like baker……

  75. Davyboy🏴‍☠️ Says:

You mean he has a 105.9 passer rating? Or is it he has fewer turnovers than anyone else except Burrows? Or is he doing both at the same time like BM6 does it??😉

  76. DavidBigBucsFan99 Says:

The Delusions of Grandeur Baker Slurpers, the ultimate cult of male cheerleaders in their tight little cheerleader booty shorts shaking it to Bakie Mayfield.

  77. Vancouver Buc Says:

    ^^^^^^^^^^💯💯💯💯💯💯

  78. Davyboy🏴‍☠️ Says:

When they lose the argument, because their facts didnt hold up, they always resort to personal attacks. DBBF99 you and your posse claimed for 2 years Baker was a choker in the playoffs. Now we see he and Joe Burrows have led the league their whole career in being clutch. Just the opposite of what you bois have sworn to. .6 & .8 everybody else is in the 1.0-2.0 range. Not even close. Baker and Burrows are in a class all their own with turnovers. Let’s get him a good OC and get that weapon to the superbowl!!!

  79. Bucblind II Says:

Caleb Williams threw 3 interceptions 1 in OT “when it really hurt” and CJ Young threw 4. BM6 has thrown 1, Mmmm

  80. Attaboy Says:

I still remember the Seattle game like it was yesterday. Yes that team we beat that is going to be playing in the nfc championship game in 1 week instead of us. We were up 13 to zip. And within 4 minutes we trailed 13-14, in 4 minutes they scored 2 touchdowns. It’s one of those 3rd & 28 moments. I remember BM6 playing lights out. He had to we didn’t have our starting offensive line, we didn’t have our main receiver and we didn’t have our starting RB. With all those injuries he was still able to put it on a team that is most likely going to be playing in the superbowl. I tell you, when the coaches have this team running on all cylinders we can beat anyone. It’s just a matter of time before we strike gold 🕑

  81. Kenton Smith Says:

HeavyE, “CJ Stroud is playing like Baker”. That’s funny. But man that was brutal to watch.
