Good show. The deal with Bucky is Grizz overused him as the feature back. His rookie year he was sprinkled in. Roles reversed this year with White. It’s great competition with the RBs they all want to be the #1. Now we got to do the same thing with Mayfield look who has been behind him since he got here. His biggest push was from Trask. A guy that’s been in the league for 5 years and never started a game. Look how good he was when Stafford was his teammate. Great RB room who push each other. There is no QB room. Bucs aren’t known for developing that position but a 1-3 guy who could make some competition or at least hold things down a few games if Mayfield gets banged up. Offense could use a lineman and TE to round things up outside the OC. The organization is pretty good at picking lineman and wouldn’t be shocked if they added another guy.

If Lickt is retained past this season, AND is allowed to hire the next HC… Then, I am O.U.T. “OUT.” On this entire bunch. I have ZERO confidence in LICKT having the right instincts, or competence level, to make the ‘right’ hire for our next head coach. There is NO possible way. I mean, he is DONE. We need a young and hungry, ‘SLICK’ and Aggressive, modern-day GM with a ‘high-IQ’ who can evaluate TALENT.
We have a group of owners, who along with this GM, allowed one of THE ‘HOTTEST’ young offensive-minds in THE ENTIRE LEAGUE to get-away, WHEN they already had HIM in the building. And they did so, in favor of an ‘old-school’ 61-YEAR OLD, middle-of-the-road DEFENSIVE Coordinator, in Todd Bowles. Someone, who desperately NEEDS “specialists” for even the most elementary ‘in-game’ decisions. We have a group of owners (and a GM), who have BLINDLY accepted mediocrity, JUST because they so happened to barely slide into the Playoffs, due ONLY to the Division they reside in. Owners and a GM who are incapable of SEEING through all the “Smoke and Mirrors” of who this team TRULY IS. They have just accepted-it. It’s Embarrassing.
EVERYONE could see this coming from a mile away! Hell, at this rate, Cohen will have HIS Jaguar Team playing in The Super Bowl, in the next few weeks. Would not surprise me one bit. Then, I will say… They ALL got what they deserved. So, go ahead then… KEEP LICKT. And, KEEP BOWLES. Just KEEP Doing The Exact Same Thing(s) All Over Again, & AGAIN. Continue on with all the Insanity. DON’T Believe Your OWN EYES. Pffft… 12-YEARS!? It’s just waaaayyy tooooo loooong! Especially, for ANY (not even) barely average GM with a LOSING RECORD of 92-103. He is who he is. Brady frickin’ SAVED HIM. You know-it & I know-it! There has to be NEW-blood, and a NEW beginning. Otherwise, you’re only delaying, and denying the inevitable. 💯

Licht needs to be bold and bounce Bowles and focus on addressing the team’s priority needs of Edge Rusher, Off Ball Linebacker and Tight End.

Bucs beat Houston Texans without Wirfs and they have an amazing pass rush. Good teams surge in November in December. Bowles is Mr October and after going 6-2 you can talk about pass rush and talent all you want but bottom line is teams adjusted to Bowles defense as they always do and he has no answers

Great podcast and enjoyed your predictions. Definitely agree about the “Most consistent player on the Bucs.”
Unsure if Baker is hurt or something else is going on. I think it is the intermittent left shoulder, but it could be something else too. The guy has played for a lot of coaches and it has to get tiring when things aren’t going our way. However, Mike Evans, Lavonte David, and others have played for different coaches with different schemes too.
Drama equals Coen.
It’s definitely a big day. Not expecting the Panthers to beat the Seahawks but never say never. We beat the Seahawks! Go Bucs, win over the Dolphins!

Can’t believe all of you picked the Bucs to win. This team is showing ALL the signs of all the other BAD Bucs teams of the past…they find a way to lose games!
Miami 28 Bucs 20 Seams to me that there are some players that have checked out about 6 weeks ago!

Mayfield elite with great intangibles? Lol…if that was true then it wouod be consistent. Why pay this guy who’s injury prone with bad accuracy 40+ million a year?
What Baker is doing right now a rookie could do for cheaper. This is who Baker is. He’s not injured, hes just good. Baker’s highlight plays are his runs, never his throws.

Licht brought in BA then Brady. That was a long time ago. This team is bereft of talent on defense and that comes down to the guy picking the mentally soft players we have now. They say Vita is great, he makes a play every other game, maybe. Winfield is one of the highest paid DB’s in the league and has not been impactful whatsoever this season. LVD is a phenomenal human being but he’s done as a player. Dean has played well but since the Bucs F-ed with his contract he’s going to walk after this season. Parrish is a dog but McCollum and Morrison are pansies. Where’s the talent on defense? That’s on Licht.

Guess Bruce Arians being hired and winning a Super Bowl wasn’t good enough for you? That’s the last coach Licht hired.
Damn, tough crowd.
