Todd Bowles Details What May Be Going On With Baker Mayfield
December 24th, 2025Joe has to believe Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield is too hurt to throw. Otherwise, why would a guy go from maybe an MVP candidate to, in a few weeks, where his play has been much closer to Dillon Gabriel than Jared Goff?
The drop in Mayfield’s play has been no less than shocking. It’s also a reason why the Bucs haven’t wrapped up the NFC South despite starting out 5-1. Remembe, they were alleged to have one of the easiest schedules in the second half of the season.
The Bucs have lost seven of their last nine games and six of their last seven since the bye. Even though they have gotten healthier, they’ve gotten worse. Much worse.
Mayfield hasn’t helped, throwing picks in the fourth quarters of recent games. Bucs coach Todd Bowles was asked about Mayfield’s sharp decline.
“[Mayfield has] kind of picked up a little bit,” Bowles said. “A few times he got it out a little early and got a little antsy. A few times the protection broke down.
“A few times there [were] different route combinations and we could have better play calling, as well. So, it’s not just one thing that contributes to that or one guy. It’s a combination of things that we’ve got to stop.”
As you would expect from a defensive head coach, Bowles said it all boils down to turnovers.
“We know when we win the turnover battles, we usually win ball games,” Bowles said. “We didn’t win the turnover battle and the two in the fourth quarter the last two weeks are disheartening and he knows that.
“We know that as an offense, we know that as a team. Everybody has got to do their part and do their job and he’ll be fine.”
Look, Joe knows of no other quarterback who has better intangibles than Mayfield. He’s everything you want from a leader and a locker room presence.
Unfortunately, as former Bucs coach Dirk Koetter famously said, the NFL is a production league. It’s all about producing. And since the bye, Mayfield hasn’t produced well.
This feels really weird to type, but Joe hopes Mayfield is hurt. That makes his struggles fully understandable. If Mayfield is perfectly healthy and is still struggling, well, that’s not good.

Todd needs to just STFU…its over…..only your fault dummy….
Draft, here we come!
December 24th, 2025 at 4:23 am
This really is a league of inches. Of course Baker isn’t fully healthy. But Grizz stinks, their IOL stinks, and the poor play of the defense and ST doesn’t boost the morale of the offense. It’s a perfect storm in Tampa.
December 24th, 2025 at 4:26 am
VARIANCE. the NFL HAS IT and in droves. we won a LOT of close games early on, that were not winning now. it should be expected we split with Carolina, Atlanta and even New Orleans. IF we go out and do what we have to do, we’ll be in a winner take all game with Panthers. there will be no excuses. you lose, start drafting
December 24th, 2025 at 4:36 am
The Bucs kept the wrong coach. That’s what’s going on. Question, when have the Bucs been 11-4 at this point, EVER? All this “CULTURE”business that we thought we had, this…alleged gold standard organization, and the envy of the other football teams in the state of Florida and wouldn’t you know it – The Jags are turning in to wagon right before our eyes and the Bucs look like a shi sandwich. They look slow, old, and untalented compared to Jacksonville. We had the darling quarterback that everyone loved while Trevor was a bust. Anyone on planet earth would take Baker over a 6-6 dude with a rocket arm and can run like a damn gazelle? Hell we have two coaches leading teams whose arrows are point way up, while our arrow pointing down with an uncertain future. Maybe Jason Licht shouldn’t be beating his chest on x posts considering all I see is poor effort, uninspiring, old, slow, and unlikeable team
December 24th, 2025 at 4:40 am
the bottom line is baker is not eating his wheaties…
he should expect a call from mary lou retton…
and he should pick it up !
December 24th, 2025 at 4:40 am
Love Baker, and he was baking early on. MVP status. Nonetheless, if he is really hurt, then that’s on the Bucs. They should have been thinking about what ifs, because instead of Teddy they should have traded in a stronger backup in November. Teddy has been on the injured list; teeth, personal. Trask was not the answer either.
It will be interesting to see when the NFL decides what time our last game with the Panthers will be. If it plays out the way everyone is saying, I am really thinking it could be Sunday prime time and at home.
December 24th, 2025 at 4:43 am
Bowles still hasn’t figured out that the final score is more important than the “turnover battle”. Bowles says the Bucs could’ve had better play calling, when he was the one who wanted to run the ball 30+ times (with the Bucs at full strength with WR’s) because of the way the Bucs ran the ball LAST YEAR vs. Carolina. I’m getting more and more annoyed by Bowles with every word he says.
December 24th, 2025 at 4:44 am
The balls on this a-hole to mention “playcalling” lol
We know what Bakers capable of – we saw it in year one with Liam Coen
LIAM COEN was an offensive mind that optimized Bakers potential- this backwater franchise won’t compete for anything meaningful till they find another innovative OC
December 24th, 2025 at 4:50 am
So, it’s in Mayfield’s production? Not the play calling?
I dunno. Seems like a perfect storm. Defense is weak putting pressure in the Offense. Offensive line looks less solid than last year and Baker def gets happy feet worried he’s going to break his left shoulder. Hell, Words and Barton haven’t looked as good as last year.
Defense giving up the cookie EVERYTIME the other team needs between 8 and 30 yards.
Maybe Bakers hurt, maybe he’s fine. It’s dumb to suggest if he is reasonably healthy that the dropoff in his game is just him. The play calling has been atrocious. Maybe because if Baker, maybe because if the defense. Lots going on here.
December 24th, 2025 at 5:12 am
Always excuses for Baker. If he can’t throw and execute the offense that loaded with WRs why is he playing? Why did they sign Bridgewater and have no trust in him to play? The personnel moves make no sense.
One of these days you’re going to accept that this is who Baker is. He’s not injured, hes just not good. Is he not 100%, of course, who is at this point in the season?
Bowles is so stupid he’d rather start a QB that can’t throw it past 10 yards than sit him for his handpicked backup. Unreal. And yes, Bridgewater sucks but thats who Todd wanted so….
December 24th, 2025 at 6:32 am
Bee: Is this your first year watching football? I seem to remember Baker being good last year.
December 24th, 2025 at 6:57 am
You can’t change your offensive coordinator every single year and expect the QB to put up the same numbers every time. Its that simple. Baker hasnt been great, but he’s been failed by this organization, just like Cleveland failed to keep stability around him. IT IS AN OFFENSIVE LEAGUE RUN BY OFFENSIVE HEAD COACHES AND THEIR QB’s. PERIOD.
When you find a QB and OC that excel together you do everything in your power to keep that marriage together. The Bucs were too arrogant to understand this last year. The most epic mistake this franchise made was keeping the old head coach in the building after he quit, and I have no doubt that he was a major driving force behind keeping Bowles over Coen. Its a choice this franchise will regret for years and years.
December 24th, 2025 at 7:01 am
A lot good points have been made here. Mainly, why did we not bring in a competent backup? True, the grizz is fizzling out, but this whole team stinks. Bowlzo must go wether we win the division or not. Let the next coach sort this mess out. Offense? Defense? OMG special teams? I’m kinda souring on Licht these days too.
December 24th, 2025 at 7:03 am
It sounds like we are looking for excuses about Mayfield’s poor performances. Is he hurt, is he…what we do know is no one giving a truthful answer.
Everything is speculation. Meanwhile we are witnessing poor performance.
Will it end on this Sunday or next Sunday. Or will it be the start of more speculation…
December 24th, 2025 at 7:06 am
Bowles is what’s wrong with Baker. Grizzard is what’s wrong with Baker. Injuries to key players are what’s wrong with Baker. What’s wrong with Baker is an organizational failure from the top, Glazers, Licht, Bowles, to the last player on the PS. Glazers need to fix the mistake they made keeping Bowles over Coen. I don’t know where Licht stands in all this. He certainly has never demanded changes in Todd’s staff the last few years. Did he tell the Glazers to keep Todd over Liam? Does Licht have a plan going forward? He keeps running it back, well now it’s broke can he fix it? Going to be an interesting offseason.
December 24th, 2025 at 7:24 am
Reminds me of Browns 2022. Bakers stubbornness worked against him and the team. It resulted in the Browns se!f destructing with the Worst trade in NFL history. The difference is the Browns, had a good backup to go to to let Baker heal. Now we have Teddy Bongwater. Ja mon. Of course the injury excuse may just be a smokescreen for Bowles losing the team in the locker room. Getting mixed signals with Baker saying Mike ran the wrong route.
December 24th, 2025 at 7:28 am
The common denominator is Bowles…..he definitely influences play calling which can make it challenging for the offense as a whole to get in rhythm. Mayfield played well enough to get Canales and Coen HC jobs. Well enough to get an extension and start us 6-2. Dating back to Brady the team collapses every year around the halfway point….thats a reflection of Bowles. This team has pieces on both sides of the ball….some coach is going to see the defense simply needs to be simplified and get back to basics. We’re getting cooked can’t get off the field when it’s 3rd and 28…..that seems like that another coach could fix.
As for play calling, the more clock we burn on offense running the ball, the less inept Bowles scheme looks…at least on paper. I’m starting to question whether he’s padding his stats out of self preservation. Bowles is very much about data, time of possession, turnovers, etc….he focuses a ton on how to statistically not lose vs actually get wins.
December 24th, 2025 at 7:28 am
I was calling for a CFL QB that either played in the NFL or us college. They are in midseason form and allowed to go with grey Cup over.
December 24th, 2025 at 7:39 am
We’re gonna have a new coach next year. Don’t let the door hit you in the a$h on the way out. Fear has taken over his mind. Fear of covering anyone- might get beat for a touchdown if we play man coverage. Might get beat if we kick off to the other team. They might get an interception if we throw it too much. Coach Bowles is a good man. I think he has reached his limit as a football coach.
December 24th, 2025 at 7:50 am
Never have said a bad word about Baker. But he wont take himself out unless he’s carried out. That’s not always cool. On the other hand, looks like they don’t trust Teddy. We had a good backup…….
December 24th, 2025 at 7:51 am
He’s playing scared. Whether or not that’s due to injury really doesn’t matter. Everyone is playing hurt at the end of the season. Rub some dirt on it and start chucking it downfield. We have a stable of skill players who can catch. Pass to setup the run. That’s the only way Baker gets his mojo back. And I’d make a switch on the line. Find a way to get Chuck and Haggard on the field. That line would feature a mass of humanity. Jordan & Feeney make me nervous, and they probably scare Baker too!
December 24th, 2025 at 7:55 am
Maybe those chants of MVP early in the season went to his head.
December 24th, 2025 at 7:59 am
Bojim: Who was the good backup they had?
December 24th, 2025 at 8:01 am
I’m really horrified by most of our fans.
Just disgusting human filth in my mind.
Heartless and disloyal.
Go Bucs!
Unlike y’all. I wasn’t raised to kick men when they are down!
Go Bucs!
December 24th, 2025 at 8:02 am
Easy to say but Otton was open on a crossing route on his pick last week. He forced the ball to Evans.
December 24th, 2025 at 8:06 am
If the Bucs had a decent backup, a banged up Baker could have been rested for the entire Rams game along with the AZ, Saints and perhaps even the ATL games. However, the Bucs have Teddy and obviously the team does not trust him more than a Baker at 25%. This one is on Licht, he threw money at Zyon instead of investing in depth.
December 24th, 2025 at 8:07 am
I get happy feet on my couch watching Jordan & Feeney.
December 24th, 2025 at 8:08 am
Joe in Michigan
Why was last year so good for Baker? He lead all QBs in total turnovers (Ints & Fumbles). Why does that matter? Well in the wildcard playoff game just after the defense made a 4th down stop in the redzone, Baker got the ball back and fumbled it 2 plays later. Put the defense back on the field in Bucs territory and Washington scored a TD.
He has a turnover problem and leads to the Bucs losing games. All those yards and tds that season didnt matter in the 4th qtr of a playoff game. He didnt play well when it mattered most.
You can’t win a championship with Bowles and Baker, they’ve proven that. For what it’s worth, I hope they prove me wrong.
December 24th, 2025 at 8:09 am
Joe in MI, some people actually thought Trask should have been a starter. They are besides themselves because the only interest Trask got after getting launched by Tampa is to land on the practice squad on the ATL which was probably only to pick his brain about the Bucs’ offensive playbook. The Trask lovers have a bad case of the Mandela Effect…..
December 24th, 2025 at 8:12 am
The guards bouncing off the ground in front of Baker is killing this offense IMO. Same thing every week, but still it is Dan “Feeble” Feeney and not that Michael, that Todd and company keep rolling out there. Merle is probably rolling in is grave over his grandson Luke not playing.
December 24th, 2025 at 8:13 am
Todd….It appears the Panthers have been getting better while your team gets worse. The Yucs are baaaaack
December 24th, 2025 at 8:14 am
Baker is “hurt” no more than LVD or Winfield are “hurt”…
stop looking for excuses for Baker!!!
if he, as our “leader” is gifted excuses than gift bowles and reddick the same excuse…i’ve seen reddick limping around since the DET game…he has the injury excuse….Todd as a roster full of injured players…he has an “injury” excuse
all of this is BS!!!!
Baker aint it…when games matter, he folds everytime…
GO BUCS!!!!
December 24th, 2025 at 8:15 am
4 or 5 wide and sling the ball,, nothing to lose ,, Baker will have 7 TDs and 2 or 3 picks , and we will average 34 points ,,, enough of this playing close games and trying not to lose ,, let’s try and win !!! Might as well as we can’t talk to Kubiak until Seattle gets knocked out of playoffs ,,, Bowles has 3 weeks(max) to save his job
December 24th, 2025 at 8:15 am
Expect Buffalo game huh radio.
200 yards rushing.
33 points
Win turn over battle
Won TOP
Butttttt still lost because of your soft piss poor defense
Team should at the very least have 3 more wins
December 24th, 2025 at 8:20 am
Baker can’t be hurt. He’s not on the injury report. Bowles wouldn’t lie about the injury report, would he?
December 24th, 2025 at 8:22 am
You’re not going to get a better QB from the draft or FA – he’s about the 13th best in the league and that’s manageable with the right OC
If Burrow wanted out of CIN I’d trade three firsts but we know that won’t happen
Path of least resistance is to upgrade the OC and try to win with Baker
December 24th, 2025 at 8:45 am
Baker played at MVP level for first 6 games. Then the Bucs decided to start running the ball more than passing. The last four games ran twice to every pass. Then they decided to throw deep when there is no time for that and no receivers are clearly open. In the Panthers has receivers wide Young just had to throw the ball in their direction. Baker did force the ball to Evans and that’s on him. It was 2nd down and we still had a time out.
December 24th, 2025 at 8:46 am
Baker Carr just plain sucks he’s not a winner never will be
December 24th, 2025 at 8:54 am
It’s not all on Baker. Sure, he deserves some blame…but look a little closer at this pop-gun offense, the routes being run (often poorly), the lack of disguise, the failure to create mismatches, inability to put players in best position to make plays and the overall infantile approach Grizz has taken. Everything is off. Nothing fools anyone. The audibles and hot routes are nonexistent. It’s a terrible joke.
December 24th, 2025 at 8:55 am
Redzone, I truly believe that Licht probably would not trade a first or second round draft pick this offseason for the 2026 Lombardi trophy, he would rather hold onto them and perhaps trade down a bit on draft day so he can pat himself on the back when 2 out of his 8 draft picks actually work out. The only trade I remember him making with a day 2 draft pick was the 3rd rounder for JPP which worked out well but the nimrod refuses to part with those lottery picks for established talent…..
December 24th, 2025 at 8:57 am
Funny how y’all handle baker and licht with so much care… I hope he’s hurt to explain why. He deserves yet another chance to draft another Logan hall. But Todd Bowles, it’s every derogatory statement…. I wonder what the difference is…. Oh wait I know….
December 24th, 2025 at 8:59 am
Competition only helps Baker Mayfield, but since he got to Tampa, the QB room has included Kyle Trask, John Wolford, Connor Bazelak, Teddy Bridgewater, and Michael Pratt. With that kind of weak competition behind him, it’s almost enough to inspire change. Clearly, the QB #2 spot needs to be upgraded. Preferably with someone who can come in and win a game. 1-3 type guy who can develop into 2-2 + player. Bucs aren’t known for developing that position.
December 24th, 2025 at 8:59 am
From what I read it sounds like there is bad coaching.
7-10 is coming. SMH
December 24th, 2025 at 9:11 am
“So far in 2019, holding the ball too long and drifting in the pocket has been a huge issue for Mayfield, and there are many plays in which he’s doing the offensive line no favors, either from his initial deep setup in the pocket or his penchant for moving laterally which leads to impossible angles for the line to block.”
Sound familiar?
How about this?:
“If you have watched Mayfield enough, you know his consistent miss is high and behind. More often on right side throws than the left side, but nonetheless, that is his issue. These throws were front and center this year but certainly not isolated to just 2021.
There are several that stand out this year and you can see how Mayfield is fighting his mechanics due to the poor lower body set. The second interception in the Green Bay game was a great example of this. Watch how he is fighting the lower body here and never gets the lead foot and hip working in the direction he needs to throw.”
Maybe this:
“For the best foot forward, Mayfield must clean up his mechanics and tendencies prior to the ball leaving his hand. He controls that outcome. He has to own the mistakes made so far in his career and commit to a process for improvement.
He has to make those schemed throws he missed too often in 2021. He has to trust his eyes and stop the double clutching on answers sitting right in front of his face.”
From different points of his career and to be honest, the more I read the more I feel the only thing that’s changed about Baker as a football player is the mileage on his joints and where he’s playing football.
All these tidbits are still relevant from different points in his career YEARS ago.
What’s that one about cheetahs and their spots? or is it Zebras and stripes?
December 24th, 2025 at 9:12 am
Tired of the Baker is hurt excuse. He is “hurt” a lot and always will be. Either play solid mistake free football or ride the pine. No more excuses. If a hurt Baker is a better option than the backup QB, then you picked the wrong backup QB.
Bucs are a mess. I’m only looking forward to changes to coaching with hopefully an offensive minded HC. This staff needs to go.
December 24th, 2025 at 9:25 am
Smashsquatch … ‘And I’d make a switch on the line. Find a way to get Chuck and Haggard on the field. Jordan & Feeney make me nervous, and they probably scare Baker too!’
I don’t have All-22 or whatever, but YouTube TV’s Key Plays is a respectable poor man’s substitute. When you focus on the OLine protection on pass plays, it’s obvious that Baker doesn’t have the same same ‘feel’ for what his OLine is doing that he’s had in the past.
Thought that ‘Balls batted at the LOS’ may have been adversely affected by his OLine play, but not really. Baker’s had 14 of those this season in 15 games, ranking 5th in the NFL (he had 14 last season & 20 in 2023 to lead the NFL that year). Drops by his receivers are at 20 this year (he had 24 dropped in 2023 but 27 dropped last season). His Throwaways are also down: 13 this season, only 7 in 2024 but up to 17 in 2023.
Interestingly, Pro-Football-Reference keeps a category called ‘Bad Throws’ in their Advanced Passing stats that shows Baker with 73 of those this year, ranking him #7 in the NFL (behind such names as Williams, Stafford, Ward, Mahomes, Nix & Goff). Baker had 63 Bad Throws in 2024 but 83 in 2023.
Other than those stats, several interesting stats stand out. He ranks #8 when it comes to being blitzed (132 times). He sits at #26 in the Completed Air Yards per Pass Attempt category (3.2 YPA) & the league average is 3.7 YPA (pretty much the same for years it looks like). He sits at #25 in the Completed Air Yards per Pass Completion category (at 5.2 YPC) & the league average is 5.8 YPC. His YAC per completion is 5.5 YPC ranking him #9 & the league average is 5.2 YPC.
IOW, Baker’s stats are pretty much below league average this year. But with the Bucs being 7-8 right now, and Baker completing only 61.6& of his passes (10% LESS than last year) ranking below league average pretty much makes sense.
December 24th, 2025 at 9:32 am
Reached the game against Panthers via slo-mo, and noticing same issues every week now…
1) IOL getting blown up every week!! Mike Jordan is “ok” but why the hell are we playing Dan Feeney there still??? LUKE HAGGARD shoulda been back in there. He was playing decent after a couple of games earlier in the year before he got hurt. Dan Feeney is a SIEVE!!
Not sure what’s going on with Barton but I don’t think center is where he needs to be. He been getting man-handled every week it seems. He just not strong enough or something…
2) Baker does NOT trust this IOL at all. I don’t blame him. He doesn’t feel like he has the time to go thru reads and has happy feet a lot. Possible he doesn’t feel like he has the time to let routes develop but unclear. Don’t feel like the concepts are there anyway from Grizz 🤷🏻♂️…
Injuries could be hampering Bakers throwing technique some as well…
Overall this offense is a steaming pile of cow-dung and when you couple that with our crappy complex defense that the players can’t run then you had the Bucs losing out the next 2 weeks…
Sorry folks! Time to blow it all up!

“Bowles still hasn’t figured out that the final score is more important than the “turnover battle”.”
Cannot stress enough how turnovers are directly linked to a teams ability to win football games, but when you’re set on making one guy out to be the Cobra Commander of this operation than everything he says sounds questionable IF you don’t know what he’s talking about.
Teams that win the turnover battle being at least +1 win football games 70% and that data has been tracked and holds true since the turn of this century.
December 24th, 2025 at 10:35 am
Bee: Yes, Baker had such a terrible year in 2024 that he made the Pro Bowl.

^^^^^^^^
Teams that outscore the opposition win 100% of their games.
December 24th, 2025 at 10:38 am
Teams don’t win Championships with Defensive HC’s any more, look it up. And we won’t either.
We need to find a brilliant Offensive mind and make him HC.
And unfortunately, we missed our best opportunity to do that last year with a proven guy in Coen.
Now, we’re screwed and playing guessing games with any new potential offensive coach we hire. We thought Grizzard was a Wizard, LOL. What a crock
December 24th, 2025 at 10:45 am
We know turnovers are bad, but do you want your team playing scared? Bowles is scared, and he has the Bucs playing scared.
December 24th, 2025 at 10:52 am
“Teams that outscore the opposition win 100% of their games.”
Hard to do when you’re giving the other team the ball when it’s your turn to score, especially in go-ahead situations.
December 24th, 2025 at 11:48 am
It’s Mayfield, backup Guards, Grizzard, injured receivers,RB…
Of those 4, Grizzard is most responsible- maybe he’ll learn and improve,
maybe not
December 24th, 2025 at 11:51 am
Go 5 wide and start slinging the ball around ,,, it’s Bolwes only chance ,, but will he switch to save his job
December 24th, 2025 at 12:34 pm
Bee,
You and your wife, Rod Munch, must have been doing something else when Mayfield threw a perfect 50 yard strike to Egbuka in 4th Q of last Sunday’s game. He was finally allowed to throw the ball after being saddled with a Woody Hayes game plan to grind it out on the ground to keep Todd Bowles defense off the field. You and your wife have been very quiet about that TD allowed in the last play the Panthers ran in first half against T Bowles elite defense.
December 24th, 2025 at 6:07 pm
The usual load of negative BS. One of the joes on here has also been showing signs of too much hooch the last 2 seasons. Go Bucs!!
December 24th, 2025 at 6:44 pm
Bowles needs to go. The defense isn’t listening to him and it appears as if he’s lost the rest of the locker room too. I am not sure what kind of calls Grizzard is making, but they don’t seem to be working. Why are we throwing deep balls for incompletions when we only need 5, 6 or 7 yards for a first down. It’s bewildering.
Where did our hot, rookie WR disappear to, the one from Ohio State who’s name I have great difficulty remembering and pronouncing? What’s going on with Otton? He has been dropping a lot of passes this year. Mike Evans still looks a little rusty even though he had a couple nice catches this past Sunday.
On to Baker Mayfield. I love Baker, but there has definitely been a decline in his performance since the bye week. True, he has a habit and history of grimacing and playing through pain and injury to the detriment of his team. He is a knucklehead and a Heisman winner. There’s a lot of potential, but time is running out for Baker. We need to look to the long-term future and we should look to the draft for Baker’s eventual replacement.
Green Bay has the proper model for QB ascension. Aaron Rogers sat on the bench for years behind Brett Favre before ascending to QB1. The same thing happened with Jordon Love who sat behind Aaron Rogers for a couple of years before he ascended to QB1.
QBs wear out with the execeptions of Tom Brady and Phillip Rivers. Both are big, proto-typical, iron men who defy time and age. Let’s keep Baker and draft a young QB to develop behind Baker. I’m already looking to 2026 and the draft. Go Bucs. Everybody have a safe and happy holiday season. Go Canes (my alma). Cheers:)
December 24th, 2025 at 11:48 pm
the last several years I really wanted to hold out and root for stoic bowles. but at this point, hearing him talk, I wanna be like… it’s all on the line, man! where’s the fire?? where’s the enthusiasm and passion for your cerebral schematic plan? aren’t you a defensive guru? don’t you have a reputation you care to uphold? I want fire. I want ego… but it’s all a yawn. the same bull regurgitated every press conference.
the same complaints about players not taking accountability, the same non-sense about injuries “we’ll have to see how he looks out there”, and if I hear “killer instinct” one more time i’m going to gouge my eyes and swallow a cup of nails.
is this not the dream job of a lifetime for the guy? why isn’t he amped to tackle these issues and get it handled. seems like he needs a nap not a contract extension.

It Sucks but we all know Baker is a warrior an injuries derailed this season as mad as I am I know this an I know Todd is the Scapegoat it’s to bad he might end up Making it another year just because the Names out there for offensive guys isn’t like it had been I mean There is proven guys who are on the hit seat but the young an up.an coming I see Shula the Rams DC the Seahawks OC Clint the Chargers DC Minter The Bucs missed the Opportunity last year with promoting Coen he was the Guy that should have been the Bucs HC but if Todd stays do the Bucs go out an look for a new OC or do they keep Grizz.an give him another shot will Tampa Run it back one more time before Cleaning house I know everyone will think there is but are there better options then Todd right now Seeing what Barber said idk if he thinks so he said Todd is Safe but I feel like that’s because they don’t have a name better to replace him
