  1. Mike Says:

Why do I want the playoffs? To watch this team once again get embarrassed by Sean Mcvay and the Rams? Nah I’m good, Bowles can go.

  2. Krycek Says:

Yes, only because it might be the last season for Evans and David.

    Leaving with a division title

  3. HC Grover Says:

Sure we get a home game as usual. I doubt they will though.

  4. Leighroy Says:

I “want” the Bucs to go all the way every year. But much like a child who needs discipline, or a tree that needs pruning, sometimes you have to suffer short term consequence to yield positive growth in the long run.

If this team somehow limps into the playoffs, who are they beating in January if they can’t beat the woeful division foes in December? What kind of fools gold would this “accomplishment” be?

I still showed up yesterday in Charlotte, wearing my orange 47 jersey and yelled to support our team until my voice was horse. But at this point I’m done for the year and ready to take the necessary medicine.

  5. Steven #55 Says:

Doesn’t matter what I want – based on the players and coaches they stopped wanting after the bye

  6. Andrew Says:

Voted no and so Ira doesn’t think i am a fan, here is why.

    1. Saves us from further embarrassment on national TV. There no chance in hell this team makes a run, so let’s just stop avoid the beating.
    2. Better draft pick for team future.

  7. heyjude Says:

I am still rooting for the playoffs. However, Andrew has some good points too. I feel bad for Mike and Chris. They have been the heart and soul on this team and deserve another playoff and Super Bowl too.

  8. jw94buc Says:

If you don’t want to make the playoffs. You’re not a true Bucs fan. Wanting a Collapse just to stroke your own ego. Is a weird kind of energy. Misery loves company, so enjoy your stay. I’d love to see them make the playoffs. And keep the streak alive. Unfortunately we’re beyond that point now. Bowles doesn’t even have an idea what to do. He would much rather neuter an offense to save face for his defensive failures.

  9. AdamT2 Says:

This poll reminds me of the Ohio State fans who rooted against their team in the national title game last year because they were desperate to fire Ryan Day; or the Eagles fans rooting hard against a Super Bowl win because they were desperate to fire Siriani.
But somehow, Bucs fans are worse, much worse. You all will probably get your way because of the mob mentality, and you will deserve what you get.

  10. Joe in Michigan Says:

Bowles needs to do the honorable thing and announce that he’s retiring at the end of the year. That seems like the only thing that would fire some of these guys up to win a game or two. Will Bowles do it? Well, it seems he’s never been very good at reading the room.

  11. Bee Says:

    Where’s the Baker poll?

  12. VOT Says:

When Todd is given the choice of hotels between the Ritz and Holiday Inn Express he always goes for the free continental breakfast

Why use Mike, Chris, Emeka, Jalen, and the kid from Oregon when we have a 180lb scat back we can use like Derrick Henry…

  13. JustOneGame Says:

Once again the poll ask the wrong question. Want, yes I want them to make the playoffs. WILL they? No I don’t believe they will.

  14. Wilder32 Says:

I’m rooting for Atlanta and New Orleans to both finish hot so that the Bucs drop down in the standings (last, possibly @ 7-10?) and get a better draft slot and an easier schedule next year.

  15. SB~LV Says:

    🤮🤮🤮🤮
A meaningless achievement because they will get their butts kicked in front of the football world!
This “team “ has played bad football all year!

  16. Chef Baker Says:

Keeping it 💯 I do want them to make it BUT not playing like this on both sides of the ball and the play calling and if it keeps Todd bowles at OBP. I’m tired of him and ready for him to get his pink slip already.

  17. Power Of Pewter Says:

The Bucs would only embarrass themselves in the increasing unlikely event they make the playoffs. This is a team that needs a coaching staff change and a huge infusion of talent on the defensive side, not a paycheck for stinking up the offseason.

  18. Addb Says:

I don’t ever want to go back to the losing mentality. This team has talent just needs direction

  19. Josh Says:

Its time to flush the Toilet!!

  20. rrsrq Says:

I’m of the belief that, get in, they have not played great as of late, kind of reminds me of the Eagles a few years ago when they limped into the playoffs and the Bucs beat them. However, these young DBs could get “youngry” real quick, we have seen flashes, Mike Evans has to go in Bowles office and Grizz and simply say, don’t waste my last year by not letting this offense cook.

  21. Ricardo Says:

Todd bowels will not win another game this year. Bowels has his problems, Grizz has his blunders, injuries have been a problem all year. The biggest problem now are on the GM.
His inability to bring in a pass rusher is the root problem. The most important player on any football team is the quarterback. The second most important player is the one who brings the QB down. Todd is stubborn and thinks he better than a consistent pass rush.

  22. ChiBuc Says:

YES!! With an interim coach and actually get past the first round

  23. Paratrooper Buc Says:

I didn’t vote. I just feel a bit apathetic. Bucs playing so bad they would lose to Seahawks or Rams or whoever is seeded against us. I’ll be honest as my brain says this poll is also asking the question “should Todd Bowles be the HC next year?” More fans voting no are giving a negative answer to Bowles then Bucs winning. Fans are tired of 3 seasons of heartburn and anxiety of barely winning above .500 and stumbling into the playoffs based on who wins the last game. This is the 4th in a row and we need a change. Baker is playing bad. Oline is a mess. Grizzard is not a good OC. Special teams coach should be fired awhile ago. Defense is a mess. And players have quit. Need a leadership change. Coen took jaguars and turned them around. A good coach can turn a team around. The question is who is that guy?

  24. RVATom Says:

Absolutely! Win the division, go.to the playoffs. I can’t see it happening but I sure as hell WANT them to. The Glazers aren’t stupid. They know underperforming and unsuccessful.

My friends Dad used to have a saying that is pretty popular now. Warm climates make soft people. I don’t believe that. But it sure seems like an easy division makes SOFT teams. Why the Bucs can’t develop a team capable of standing on the necks of other clubs in one of the weakest divisions in football is a mystery.

  25. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

No, we need Bowels gone yesterday! If they limp in at 9-8 or 8-9, does anyone really believe we’ll beat the Rams? Better chance of snow today in Tarpon Springs!

  26. Daniel Says:

You guys truly suck at fans if you’re cheering not to make the playoffs.

  27. Drunk Bucs Fan Says:

Voted Not Sure. I can’t deny the lottery ticket philosophy of you can’t win if you don’t play.

But at the same time, I also can’t deny missing the playoffs is probably best in the long run as long as the right moves are made after the season. The one thing I do feel strongly about is there is no right way to be a fan. Kind of like grief, everyone handles it in their own way. No right or wrong.

To be honest, my Not Sure is more of a vote of apathy at this point. And that’s the saddest indictment of all.

  28. Smarter than Joe Says:

As a fan we win either way, lose and Todd is gone or win and go to the playoffs

I like winning more than I hate Todd Blows soft team and mindset

  29. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Joe in Michigan Says
“Bowles needs to do the honorable thing and announce that he’s retiring at the end of the year.”

    This would be great.

But I also wonder if firing him would be a better lesson to the players.

  30. ToesOnTheLine!!! Says:

Voted yes because the guys on the team who are still putting in the effort deserve a chance at winning the Lombardi no matter how unlikely it looks based on the team’s play. That said if they lose to Miami next week and Carolina wins then I hope they lose out and play for better draft position (the fate of the coaching staff will already have been sealed at that point as the Panthers would clinch). Until that happens though, I’ll still root for the Bucs to win the South and go as far as possible (even if they look like a total hot mess right now)

  31. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I have been supportive of Todd Bowles up to and until he went on his temper tantrum during the press conference.

Until that point, I felt the players were behind him. When he did that, it destroyed that. The players want to win…but now a part of them is wondering if Bowles will throw them under the buss again.

In that way, he has lost the locker room. The players may not even realize it, but he has.

So I don’t believe they will play as hard for him anymore.

So losing out might be the wrong mentality as a fan…but at this point it’s about draft position.

(I may be biased as I start a new entertainment project on Jan 11th, and it will be weekly at noon…giving me 9 months until next season…I need a break from this rollercoaster)

  32. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Sundays

  33. ModHairKen Says:

Of course I want them to make the playoffs. What kind of question is that?

  34. DBS Says:

No. I don’t care people call us not true fans. That’s their opinion. They don’t deserve to be included with the class of the teams that are already in. I live in reality. If they get in they get embarrassed. It would delay the firing process and trying to get coaching in here to try and get this team out of the funk it is in. Backing shows exactly how bad it continues to be.

  35. DBS Says:

    Backing in every year
