Bucs Potential Postseason Opponent In Clearer Focus

November 28th, 2025

Big games in the NFC yesterday. And since the Bucs are a heavy favorite to win the NFC South, Joe was paying attention.

The scary Dallas receiving corps helped them topple the Chiefs. That bumped the Cowboys’ record to 6-5-1. They’re a postseason longshot, but Joe always loves taking a moment to celebrate a Chefs loss. Kansas City is now 6-6.

The top three Wild Card contenders in the NFC are clear. Seattle is 8-3. Green Bay is 8-3-1. And San Francisco is 8-4.

If Tampa Bay makes the playoffs, they very likely will be the No. 4 seed. That means they would host the Wild Card team with the best record. Two of the three top contenders, Seattle and San Francisco, lost to the Bucs this season.

The Lions (7-5) are on the outside looking in with a brutal remaining schedule and two losses to the Packers. Joe hopes to see Dan Campbell crying about missing the playoffs.

Seattle has tough games against the Colts, Rams and 49ers remaining on their schedule. San Francisco has the Colts, Bears and Seahawks to play, but also a bye week after facing the bumbling Browns on Sunday.

The Packers have two games against their division-rival Bears (8-3), plus games against Packers, Ravens and Vikings.

If the Bucs reach the playoffs, they’ll be hosting a very seriously battle-tested team.

Get your sht together Bucs. Yes, Dallas has some serious receivers. Dont like either team. 🙂

It will not be competitive if they do host a playoff game. The way they are playing now I see them getting swept by the Panthers and struggling to win 2 more games down the stretch. The start of the season was all smoke and mirrors.

Things were going FINE for us until Dan Campbell/Lions. He exposed us. My Dan Campbell voodoo doll will be in use!

They should be worried about AZ and winning regular season games.

We’ll see if Bucky can provide that spark that this offense is missing……otherwise we are more heavily favored to lose out then win the South

“The Packers have two games against their division-rival Bears (8-3), plus games against Packers, Ravens and Vikings.” So, the Packers play themselves? Is that a win or a loss?

  9. BucsFan81 Says:

The big question is if they make the playoffs.

  10. Outrigger Says:

The Bears will not win the NFC North. Their schedule has been a joke. They will lose twice to the Packers and be a wild card team. We can only hope to play them in the first round of the playoffs.

  11. Dan the Bucs Fan Says:

Atlanta and Carolins projected record is 7-10 our projected record is 12-5 you honestly think there’s a chance we don’t win NFC South? Our fanbase is just dumb. Boo who we got blown out in another time zone with almost every skill player injured.

Grow up we are fine Bucky comes back gives this offense some juice we are going close the season on a 6 game winning streak.
