Another Game, Another Record

November 24th, 2025

Latest QB to light up the Bucs.

Here we go again.

Way, way, way too often over the past few years, Joe learns after a loss that a quarterback has set a record against the Bucs’ defense. If the Bucs had a defensive-minded coach, maybe this wouldn’t bother Joe so much.

Oh, wait.

Whether it was last year with Kirk “509” Cousins or this year with Josh Allen being part of six touchdowns (three passing, three running), it seems way too often an opposing quarterback is setting a record.

Hello, Matt Stafford.

Arguably the hottest quarterback in the league started tonight’s game hot as a firecracker. Stafford just sliced and diced the Bucs defense up like a surgeon.

It almost looked like Stafford was playing in a seven-on-seven game or was in the middle of a walk-through practice. Stafford completed his first 12 passes. First 12! It was 12:31 of the second quarter when one of his passes finally hit the turf of SoFi Stadium.

Stafford on Sunday night against the Bucs also saw him set a streak of of 273 pass attempts without an interception, the longest streak in Rams history and the longest streak in the NFL this season, and the longest streak of his career.

And Stafford set this against the big-play Bucs defense.

Joe would be truly worried about the Bucs playoff hopes if they didn’t have a defensive-minded head coach.

Isn’t it time that the Bucs defense quit allowing opposing quarterbacks to set records against them? Where is the pride?

Just admit it, Joe. Enough innuendos and implications. Bowles should be fired.

  2. Durango 95 Says:

Stafford taunted Bowles defense in the days leading up to this game. Tonight he rubbed their noses in it.

  3. OneAndThree Says:

Don’t worry Joe! Bowles has got this!

You’re going to be watching the Bucs in the playoffs again!

Only for one game of course, likely over with by mid second quarter.

But you’ll still have another NFC South trophy to polish.

Todd Bowles needs another extension, raise, and a Nobel peace prize! Yay!!!!

  4. MadMax Says:

the D has given up on Todd….time for him to go and take some of them with him!

  5. Tye Says:

OCs of Bucs opponents likely look forward to the weak they play…
Pass against bowels defense early and often is the word around NFL!

  6. TheBucsAnthem Says:

We all knew the Bucs would lose tonight…..but not like this curb stomping the Rams dished out

The Bucs looks like they quit on the field…..the old Stench of Raheem Morris is still seeking in LA right now from the Bucs

  7. sethery Says:

I was at the game. mccollum’s coverage was slow sluggish it was painful. you could see it so clearly from the stands. idk what was happening. he was allowing receptions then missing the tackle… did he still have the flu? felt like we should have put hayes in and it would have been better. not to dog him, but wow… so bad.

and joe is right. damn right. we need an edge rush. top priority next offseason. diaby is okay but we need a terror on the line. then middle linebackers. and after this week still not sold on the corners.

  8. FortMyersDave Says:

Pride? I think Bowles has finally beatten tgat emotuon out of his guys with mismanagement and favoritism.

  9. Leopold Stotch Says:

What we need a DC who let’s pass rushers rush passers.

  10. unbelievable Says:

He is who we thought he was.

    Passive, soft and weak.

The team has the personality of its HC

  11. Bucswin? Says:

Soft soft soft! It’s one thing to get beat. It’s entirely another to quit on national tv. Fire Bowles!

  12. Rod Munch Says:

Would have had over 400 yards and 4 TDs had the Bucs offense put up any sort of fight. But he still cleared the over on yards, Puka was over on yards, and Adams got more than .5 TDs.

  13. Conte Piscatelli Says:

The Rams are one of the best coached teams in football. They understand that Bowles defense only cares about stopping the run unless it’s an obvious passing down. The rams ran the ball I think 10 times through 3 quarters. Why because if you throw in first down you get no pass rush and vanilla coverage. It’s the actual game plan. Bowles is so out dated he’s like a general still lining up his army in a line like the civil war. Please, please can we get with a coach who understands the game has changed. I’m sick of the Book of Bowles from the football Bible, all it says is teams run the ball on first down.

  14. BucU Says:

I want a real HC for Christmas.

  15. PSL Bob Says:

When you give an opposing QB time to order a pizza while standing in the pocket, he’s going to pick you apart.

Hey if you watched the Bucs on the 2 games prior to the game last night, the writing was on the wall. The Bucs didn’t and don’t have the talent to compete on defense. I predicted a 50 -14 score. While Bowles deserves criticism , you have to look at the fact that, the front 7 can not get the job done, no matter the scheme. McCollum, proved last night what we have been seeing, but not believing, he needs to be benched. Licht deserves criticism here too because, he did nothing or too little to adrress the issues on the d line. Well now everyone knows including the Bucs , the defense must be overhauled. The Bucs seriously mis calculated the talent they had on defense. I don’t care what kind of scheme you put together , these players don’t have the talent to win.
