Bad News Baker Mayfield
November 22nd, 2025So two respected NFL analysts had a discussion this week about how poorly Baker Mayfield has played for much of the 2025 season.
Yeah, you read that correctly.
Gregg Rosenthal, the longtime NFL.com analyst and current host of the NFL Daily podcast, on which Buccaneers Ring of Honor general manager Jason Licht appeared this year, has access to all kinds of NFL data.
Stuck in Rosenthal’s craw are numbers that say Mayfield is struggling.
“He’s 31st in success rate this year when having a clean pocket. That’s crazy. Like the only people behind him are Dillon Gabriel, Cam Ward and J.J. McCarthy.” Rosenthal told his guest, Ollie Connelly, whose resume says he spent years scouting NFL and college players.
Rosenthal says Mayfield either isn’t seeing the field well or is unwilling to take positive plays available to him consistently.
Connelly thinks MVP chatter got Mayfield and says he’s been leaving the pocket too soon despite open targets.
Connelly added that Mayfield’s early-season, late-game heroics bailed him out of routinely playing poorly for 20-plus snaps per game. He cited Mayfield declining numbers against the blitz this season, versus past years, and how too often is not seeing open targets.
Inconsistency within games is a thing for Mayfield, Connelly said. “You don’t know what you’re getting drive-to-drive with Baker.”
These kind of talk in Tampa feels like heresy. Is it legit? Joe hopes Mayfield heard it and found an extra shot of motivation as he’s been known to do.

Neither watch the game film. Ronde Barber disputes this and so do I.
Success rate is a function of the offense as a unit,
It is not legit.

One two three gtf ball out. I was and have been yelling at this team all season
We gotta start using quick plants with the right receivers and getting him in rhythm
Thats what Coen did well. Baker has always had this issue
Coen cracked the code on what got him going
Grizzard has yet to mix the two properly so he can use play action correctly.
1st down we should use play action but instead hes running it up the middle. I honestly think the play calling is borderline atrocious imo. I have seen enough to know he cant scheme in the red zone at all. No use if the tight ends or even the time to pass vs run and where this team is strong vs weak
November 22nd, 2025 at 8:11 pm
Just more obscurity from “analysts” feigning insight. Mayfield’s problems this year are well known including his injuries and depleted WR’s. Moreover, most of us are wondering when does Mayfield ever get a clean pocket like Goff and others?
November 22nd, 2025 at 8:12 pm
There is little doubt Mayfield’s game is not what it was earlier in the season. However, he has been hurt is what we hear which is believable. He only begin to scramble last week. Many of his throws have also been off. However I don’t see him as the problem given the lack of receivers and an o line that certainly had issues. Baker may be pressing to hard to make up for the missing pieces. When your o line can’t open a hole at the 1 yard in 7 tries that is a problem. Yes Baker has been inconsistent as of late, but so has most of the rest of the team. Let’s not throw Baker under the bus quite yet!!. However I think you could throw the defense under the bus . They definitely are a problem!!!
November 22nd, 2025 at 8:15 pm
Targets have to get separation. Mike and Chris haven’t been out there. Receivers need to produce daylight . The level of trust has with this group ( minus ee) is probably minimal. Hence, more double clutching, more scampers. Liam lived off of short screens, which opened the field. Buckys absence, and grizzards hesitance to screen to Rashad ( like canales did) is a concern.
November 22nd, 2025 at 8:21 pm
I chalk up most of Baker’s poor play this season to: 1. Injuries to our WR’s 2. Injuries for Baker. 3. Poor scheme and 4. Some critical drops in critical moments
November 22nd, 2025 at 8:22 pm
He zeros in on one player too often and likes to throw in a double and triple coverage welcome to six and five
November 22nd, 2025 at 8:23 pm
But it is definitely true that as of right now, Baker has played very good about 50% of the time this year and pretty poorly the other 50% of the time.
November 22nd, 2025 at 8:30 pm
Let em bake Says:
Targets have to get separation.
————————————————–
I watched Ronde’s podcast a couple days ago. He said he’s been watching the tape and his targets are NOT getting separation.
That in conjunction to Baker being injured and stopped running for several games along with Bucky being MIA, and the lack of continuity on the o-line have really been hurting the offense.
November 22nd, 2025 at 8:30 pm
Greg Rosenthal has always despised Baker. He is full of it!!!! He’s been biding his time waiting for any opportunity to bash Baker. All I can say is if you were able to rewind the tape of Rosenthal’s takes over the years on Baker you would agree that he hates Baker. He’s had to lay low in recent seasons because Baker’s been playing well.
November 22nd, 2025 at 8:37 pm
or maybe its harder for baker to complete passes when he has a clean pocket, because the only time this happens is when teams have extra coverage and are only rushing 3 or sometimes 2 players. and even then that’s not a clean pocket guarantee.
November 22nd, 2025 at 8:38 pm
Great comments by fans here! We know Baker is talented and has faced a lot of adversity.
November 22nd, 2025 at 8:40 pm
some what agree not willing to take check downs when they are there ,just put the ball in your play makers hands an let them make a play that what cause us the new England game on third an 3 rashaad in the flat open no one within 10yards forced it to Otton take what defense gives you
November 22nd, 2025 at 8:53 pm
Get to the NFC Championship game if not Bowles need to be gone next year. Baker ain’t worth a 100 million dollars if he needs everything to be perfect for him . I’ve said it before Baker Mayfield can’t carry a offense at this point of his career. He’s been good this season for his standards.
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:15 pm
Patriots game was a prime example of him ignoring open recievers to force the ball to Egbuka.
Nevermind the fact that this team hasn’t had any healthy revievers for weeks, yet i think there’s only been one target to a TE not named Cade Otton.
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:17 pm
It’s partially true.
Firing Bowles if we don’t get to the NFC championship game is madness though. We do not have the talent to demand playing in the NFC championship game.
Our offense before injuries is a really good offense, but you have to consider all the key pieces we’ve lost. At least we’re competing in most games.
We’re on our 3rd OC in 3 years. Overall, Tampa fans should appreciate that we’re on track to win another division title. That’s good enough for now. Remember the dark days.
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:18 pm
I’m a big baker fan here. What side was saying isn’t all wrong I watched baker many times not throw to open WR , TE and RB to force feed EE or to throw into traffic
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:20 pm
Because Todd Blowes is a LOSER.
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:24 pm
Baker does not take underneath stuff a lot of the times when it is there and goes for the bigger chunk…what separates him from the great ones .
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:27 pm
Greg Rosenthal. Somehow, can’t place the guy. One of many who like to demean Baker. Yeah, sure. “ when having a clean pocket”. He’s got to be kidding. The “ pocket” of which he speaks is like a snowflake. No two are the same. Any fan of the game would question him about what kind of bs stat is that? Oh. And this Connelly guy. Never heard of him. Nobody has heard of him. Well, maybe someone has heard of him since he talks about Mayfield. Yeah, Joe. We can hope Baker heard these true knuckleheads.
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:38 pm
Good news. I just watched Rosenthal and Connelly and I can’t recall seeing either of them in my entire life of watching football. I can report that they took turns bashing Mayfield and I can also report that their picture should be in the dictionary illustrating the word dlpshlt.
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:39 pm
A lot of average Quarterbacks have won the Superbowl. Just ask Trent Dilfer
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:44 pm
I like Baker, but this season is giving me pause about handing him a massive contract. Those late game heroics from earlier in the season are not sustainable; he needs to play Greta all game, not just the last 8 minutes of a game.
In the midst of these injuries, he’s showing he can’t put a team on his shoulders and win games consistently (not many QBs can). Is Baker really worth $60M a year? Or is he in the class of Jordan Love and Brock Purdy – guys that got the massive bag, which now in hindsight look like mistakes.
Either way, even if Baker completely craps the bed the rest of the season, I’d bet money Licht makes him the highest paid QB in the league, because that’s what Licht does.
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:47 pm
Post it on the board. Bake needs to cook something up special for the naysayers in LA. Lfg!
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:57 pm
The guy is throwing to rookies!
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:58 pm
I’d agree that Baker has to be able to carry the offense but not when the situation is like this. It’s insane that factors he’s playing against. Especially considering he was in early MVP talks for securing constant clutch wins when most of his weapons were there and he wasn’t banged up. This is a total non issue.
November 22nd, 2025 at 9:58 pm

You have zero influence to whether he gets a contract or not.
November 22nd, 2025 at 10:04 pm
Rams 47
Tood’s Losers 3
November 22nd, 2025 at 10:07 pm
“You have zero influence to whether he gets a contract or not.”
Thanks pal, that’s some high quality insight.
November 22nd, 2025 at 10:12 pm
As long as the Tood runs the team on game day, might as well go full 2009 and let everybody go. Bucs are at their most comfortable when they suck like the worst team in all of sports franchise history. Any sport. The Suckaneers are who we are especially with this Loser ruining the talent assembled by Jason every week.
November 22nd, 2025 at 10:17 pm
joe, 2 rookies and an off the street pickup will hurt any QB stats, and let’s not forget the o-line merry go round. We need a d coach that isn’t such a mastermind. I don’t see it myself, confuses his own players.
November 22nd, 2025 at 10:19 pm
Baker sucks because of Bowels that’s a new one even for you Ironlung. Still living rent free.
November 22nd, 2025 at 10:25 pm
“ Baker sucks because of Bowels”
That’s the only thing that deadwood ever said
November 22nd, 2025 at 10:35 pm
These comments Crack me up now Baker sucks? WTF we don’t sign Baker I bet there are at least 25 other teams that would sign him quickly. From MVP to he sucks in a couple weeks. Seems the fans want to go back to those lost years you love so much Joe.
November 22nd, 2025 at 10:46 pm
“These comments Crack me up now Baker sucks? WTF we don’t sign Baker I bet there are at least 25 other teams that would sign him quickly. From MVP to he sucks in a couple weeks.”
This comment cracks me up. Literally not a single post said Baker sucks. Quit being so defensive. Not everything is black and white. Discussing whether Baker is worth twice the amount he is making now, and if that is the wisest use of our salary cap is a worthwhile conversation. That extra $30M going to Baker could mean no contract for Mike Evans or no high-end DE signing.
November 22nd, 2025 at 10:50 pm
Tood is the fraud. Baker knows he has to be Superman to have a chance and his OC is a rookie stooge.
Screw it. Blow it up.
November 22nd, 2025 at 10:53 pm
Deadwood proving its standing as the bottom of the cerebral ladder.
November 22nd, 2025 at 11:18 pm
Where can I find “clean pocket” stats. With all due respect to the OL and especially Coach Carberry given the challenge. The Chargers, Vikings followed by the Bucs and Commanders have lost the most time to injury on their OL’s.
In the Buc’s case there have even been injuries to backups. Sometimes Griz and Carberry had to work in backups to the backups! Musical chairs is always a challenge for any OL.
Bottom line just anecdotally I don’t remember that many clean pockets. I do recall stretches of great protection but Baker generally cashed in.
I have seen a lot of individual (backups largely) losses at the line and it only takes one unblocked DL to dirty the pocket quickly!
Again where are the stats for “clean pockets” and what is the criteria used?
November 22nd, 2025 at 11:33 pm
Like virtually all QBs, Baker is as good as the TEAM around him.
2024 was real. Our OLine held up beautifully, our running game took off, and Baker set all kinds of career highs with his passing.
This season our offense especially has been devastated by injuries, leading to constant starting lineup changes. Baker himself has been playing hurt, yet he hasn’t missed a ball game. We’re not doing nearly as well as we did in 2024, but there are VALID REASONS that go far beyond Baker. Matter of fact, without Baker’s last-minute ‘heroics’ in our first 4 wins, the Bucs would deservedly be something akin to 3-7 or thereabouts.
Baker’s the least of our problems right now.
November 22nd, 2025 at 11:59 pm
@Hoping
Average QBs require a top flight Defense to win a SB.
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:00 am
The traskies rearing their heads is predictable.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard people complain these two things before of the same QB
He has too many under two minute take over wins
He can’t put a team on his back
They don’t go together
Meanwhile don’t want to hear about some esoteric QB stats when Sterling Shepard is WR 2 and 3 and 4 is Johnson and Johnson
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:03 am
Agreed. Sometimes it’s like watching Brady after he lost 15lbs going through the divorce. How many times do we have a chance to go up multiple scores for him to not see a wife open receiver or a bad throw with no pressure and then we punt. Then the whole game becomes a struggle. Go Bowles silly defense?
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:09 am
Baker is overrated AF. He’s playing like the sub.500 QB he is. 7/8 seasons he has finished outside the top 15 in completion %. 7/8 seasons he has played in a offense ranked 15th or lower. Every season he has played he has a losing record to winning teams. 2023 PO perfect health this offense was like 22nd. Baker was like 19th in completion %, around 10-12 in yards and TD passes on a 9-8 team. He’s about to be 31 and we’re still debating about him. His 2024 season was a outlier,a fluke. Even then,Dak, Jared Goff have had MULTIPLE seasons that good and better. Even Kirk Cousins. Baker is inaccurate, can only play that unsustainable ” chaos ball” and at his best when the play collapses. Analytics are brutal to Baker. Id love to see how much we play out of a deficit since he’s been here..Baker is NOT a guy that can win 13-25 games in the regular season and finish top 5 in MVP. He is too limited. 26-21 in Tampa. 10-4 vs the NFC South. 16-17 vs the rest of the league.
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:10 am
Again, things can get a little out of sync when throwing to WR4,5, and 6. Not people you typically practice with. Things should start picking up now.
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:19 am
Hoping for the best: Trent Dilfer had a defense that gave up under 10 PPG with Jamal Lewis+ Priest Holmes in the backfield. That was 2000. Different sport now. All I’ve seen the last 20 years is HOF QBs winning SB. It’s a reason KC moved up for Mahomes when Alex Smith was 32. Flacco was 33 and 5 years removed from a SB+ one of the best post seasons a QB ever had when Baltimore traded up for Lamar. Flacco was a Baltimore legend too. You got a have a “dude” at QB. Not a cocky, undersized journeyman When is that ” chip” on Baker shoulder turn into a ” chip”. Rocky was a underdog but damn he got to the top. He was the best. Mayfield is not him.
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:20 am
Absolutely.
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:24 am
Baker playing like who he is. And actually,6-4 is the BEST 10 game start under the Baker era lol. Talk about mediocrity. He was AWFUL (12/21 ,65 yards,1 int-down 24-6 vs detroit.m Had less then 40 yards vs Detroit at the half down 14-3. Probably will get down big tomorrow, put up some garbage time stats..Hell play well vs the division. Finish 10-7 and win this 💩 division by default.
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:28 am
I was thinking he led the entire National Football League in touchdown passes the last TWO seasons Cobb Carrier? With a mostly injured receiver corps. Totally different Olines and coordinators in 2023 and 2024. In 2025 pulled off more 4th quarter comebacks than any QB in the history of the NFL. And he knows this season is barely cranking up. Cobb Carrier- you say he’s overrated af. I would say you’re dumb af.
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:29 am
Soooo, Baker needs a good Ol,Pro Bowl RB,2 pro bowl wars,stud#3 wr, good team AND a good defense. Tell me he’s limited without telling me he’s limited. Look it up, the Bucs give up less PPG in the Baker era then they did in Brady era. Also, Brady 3 years we were 28,26 and 32nd in rushing…I mean, WTF. Baker still has the ROY at wr, a TE on pace for 65 grabs, a middle of the pack OL and a middle of the pack ground game.
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:31 am
Before Baker was hurt WE ALL saw what his talents were. The team was hurt, it wasn’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination and he put the team on his back against the best defenses in the league and won. Good enough to have everyone gushing about his play. Then he was hurt. When he heals up he will begin the a** kickings all over again. Bake ain’t through just yet.
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:38 am
The braid you came out of is dumb c you should have been swallowed. So about stats: Last year Geno Smith threw for 4300 yards and I think he missed a game you don’t. He was 4th in the NFL on passing yards. Was Geno the 4th most prolific /best QB in the NFL last year? Here dummy: just about ANY QB especially if they were in the NFC South, a guy with 100 starts is going to put up numbers. Especially if they play all 17 games. Throwing 30-35 times a game over 17 games will result in stats..Dak has had and will go down as a exponentially better QB then Baker but his perception is limited due to lack of winning..Dak has had seasons that 💩on Bakers 2024. This the thing about stats .Brady 3 years here statistically topple any 3 year stretch he has had on his career(statistically). Does anyone not on crack think we got the BEST version of Brady? His last year here when ppl thought he sucked he had 4700 yards, 26 TD and 9 int. You must be 12 and into fantasy football.
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:44 am
Yet this year he is outside the top 10 in yards,TD and completion % like he was the first half of his career and even his first year here. Objective thinking says his good 2024 season was the outlier. And quit making Bakers 2024 like it was Bradys 2007😭😭. I don’t want to hear new OC crap. Sam Darnold has gone to a new team 5 straight years. He laid a egg last week but if you go off ” play+ production” the last 2 years he has passed Baker up. And ANY gm would build around DArnold before Baker. 2 years younger, bigger and play from the pocket. Dude is 21-6 the last 2 years playing in MONSTER divisions.
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:47 am
You people ragging on Baker are just showing your blind ignorance to the teams current situation. Plus you have such short memories. You must suffer from amnesia. Obviously for anyone with a normal working brain we “remember” seeing Baker taking his injured team on his back and break records for 4 games. You like to act like it never happened. Do you really think that Baker just forgot how to play football. To a normal brain Baker will be back when whatever the he11 is going on behind the scenes. He will get it right by the playoffs and make a deep run and shut you Baker haters up for good, the sooner the better I say. Kiss off
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:50 am
I noticed NFL.com currently has Baker in Tier 1 #4. Enough said ROFLMAO
November 23rd, 2025 at 12:58 am
Cobb Carrier. Monster divisions? You mean the monster divisions Baker dominated the last few years? Darnold 21-6. You mean the Darnold Baker beat last month? Green Bay, Minn., and Bears lost to Baker. Detroit has beat him but he’s also beat them. The other monster division I guess you talk about the NFC West. He’s whipped San Fran and Seattle so far this year. Rams and Cardinals next. Cobb Carrier, you can’t handle the truth.
November 23rd, 2025 at 1:04 am
Oh yeah Cobb Carrier. NFC East. He whipped Giants, Redskins, and Eagles last year and lost to the Cowboys. In other words, Cobb Carrier, Baker Mayfield has dominated the other 3 divisions in the NFC each of the last three seasons. Every year he’s been here Cobb Carrier.
November 23rd, 2025 at 1:20 am
“Rosenthal says Mayfield either isn’t seeing the field well or is unwilling to take positive plays available to him consistently.”
YES. 💯 Been saying it all season. He just hasn’t. And, that’s the Bottomline. I’ve replayed and slo-mo’ed prob 100+plays this season just to see his eyes, and where he’s actually looking, when he’s missed so many open and easy throws, & etc.
November 23rd, 2025 at 1:34 am
Smells like denial in here
November 23rd, 2025 at 1:40 am
Did anyone see how poorly Josh Allen missed open targets vs us and the Texans? Does Josh Allen suck? No. But, the blitz definitely unsettles Josh and why we went away from the blitz against him is beyond me. Stafford will kill you if you blitz and can’t get him to the ground. Baker has been hampered with early injuries to the OL and I can bet it has given him the yips. I don’t think he had a clean pocket until Wirfs and Goedeke came back and even then Wirfs has had a few bad games (most likely due to him rushing back from surgery).
This whole success rate crap is such a waste of time. All that matters is wins, it doesn’t have to be pretty and it doesn’t have to be a blow out. Case in point: Trent Dilfer and Joe Flacco still have their Super Bowl rings.
November 23rd, 2025 at 1:47 am
Kenton: I don’t think his wife glazes him as much as you do. Dominated, whipped??? He’s 26-21 in THREE years. 10-4 in this putrid division,16-17 vs the rest of the league. Every year he has a losing record vs winning teams. In talking here in Tampa. Let’s see the NFC North last year, Detroit 15-2. Minnesota 14-3, Greenbay 11-6. We won the division by 2 games lol at 10-7 as we started 4-5 with everyone healthy. This year the NFC West has (2) 7 win teams and a 8 win team. But let’s talk about it …Philly-SB Champ. Detroit beat us in the playoffs year before when Baker ended the season on a int. Commanders beat us on the playoffs when Baker fumbled. Be careful what you bring up. You got 🍳 on your face and Bakers 🥜. In ONE post season Daniels did something Baker never did, won beyond the wildcard round and get to strike game. As a rookie he totaled Bakers postseason victories lol.
November 23rd, 2025 at 1:56 am
Kenton moron: let’s take a look: Since coming here Baker is: 0-3 vs Allen,0-1 vs Lamar,0-1 vs Mahomes, 1-3 vs Goff, 2-2 vs Hurts,0-2 vs Purdy, 1-0 vs DArnold, 1-0 vs Herbert, 1-1 vs Daniels, 1-1 vs Stroud. 0-1 vs Maye.0-1 vs Bo Nix. 1-0 vs Love. 1-0 vs Lawrence. I had to really scrape to be fair to make it 9-16. By the way,9-16 SUCKS. To be nice I even included Trevor Lawrence. Now factor in EVERY year having a losing record vs winning teams, I think Baker is 10-16 vs teams over.500 just since coming here. Now factor in he is under 500 outside the division.. LOSER!!! Yeah I said. With all the comebacks, etc. He still below.500 outside the division.
November 23rd, 2025 at 2:11 am
And you can keep living in denial. Aside from those OVERWHELMING numbers and data, here is something else to be considered. The 3 years here it’s a given we loose to good teams with better QBs and beat the Spencer Rattiers and Danny Devitos – even tho I’ve seen Baker loose to Cooper Rush, Desmond Ridder and Gardner Minshew since he got here. I notic d for theost part even the games we win are dog fights. I’m talking over 3 years they don’t have 10 decisive victories… 2 vs Philly,1 vs Washington, 3 vs NO,1 vs LAC, 2 vs GB and 1 vs Jax. That’s 10 in 3 years. Aside from that even the wind be dog fights….Then when they play better teams they get behind, be in the verge of getting blown out. The defense stiffens up and Baker plays chaos ball on the 4th when the other team plays prevent. He puts up numbers and stats to make it look closer then it really was(think Philly, think Buffalo and SF on 23+24). Id bet analytics would show all 3 years in total time we have trailer under Baker more then we have had the lead. That’s why winning is so important. QBs who clinch early often sit the last game of the year. When your WINNING by 3-4 tds your handing off and not throwing 20 times in the 4 th qtr. Your team whole game plan changes when your comfortably ahead vs playing ” catch up” ball. You can’t be this slow Kenton. Basketball analogy: 2 guys play the same position. One guy average 26 PPG on a 65 win team. The other guy average 28 on a 43 win team. Who is held on higher regard? Who will get MVP votes and who won’t? This shows how crappy Baker is. Ppl are upset but this 6-4 is actually they best start under him lol. He’s playing like who he is( his 17td to 3 int are great and surprising tbh) but he’s playing erratic and on a mediocre offense like he has his whole career. Only once has he finished on a offrnse top 10. Only once has he been too 10 in yards,TD,completion%. That is what you call a fluke my man. And even that season he started d out 4-5. Finished 10-7 and got bitch slapped in the wildcard by a rookie QB
November 23rd, 2025 at 2:51 am
Baker mayfield is just not a winner he plays hard gives it his all he plays with heart
November 23rd, 2025 at 3:15 am
Corncobb, Lamar Jackson is considered the best or second best quarterback. He has the best RB in the league 6′ 3″ 250lbs one of the very best tight ends 6′ 5″ 250 lbs Mark Andrews but yet somehow they can’t quite get things done. Every quarterback has to have quality people around him even a quarterback that has a very accurate arm and runs a 4.3 40 but Baker is a loser because he needs good athletes around him. Actually corncobb you are the quintessential loser who is a rabid Baker hater and dont know anything about anything.
November 23rd, 2025 at 3:23 am
Mayfield is the ultimate winner. By having THE BEST playoff passer rating IN HISTORY pretty much proves it. No one is better when the money is on the line in the playoffs is when he turns it on. 105.2 playoff passer rating-he is the King of the playoffs. He just can’t do it all himself. When they give him a team he will win us a superbowl.
November 23rd, 2025 at 3:39 am
Bucblind: so Lamar won (2) MVPs BEFORE Henry got there and I don’t think Lamar has ever had a 1000 yard receiver. Idk why we talking about Lamar. 2x MVP, 2 years younger then Baker, went 31 spots after him in the 2018 draft lol. First ballot HOF. Titles will define where Lamar is ranked in the pantheon of great QBs. Until then, he in Dan Marino territory. That said,Baker can’t carry his boots. Your being disrespectful and immature because your losing the debate lol. Hit a nerve because you know it’s true.

King of the playoffs? 2 wildcard wins against 2 Pa teams who came into the playoffs on 5&6 game losing streaks. 2020: had to clinch the last quarter the last game of the season. 2023, same thing after starting out 4-7. 2024: started 4-5 and clinched the division last week of the season. But hey, Baker is King of the NFC South lol. So how long do you give him to make it to a Superbowl? So all we need for Baker to make a SB is 21 Probowlers on offense and defense. But even if they did get 21 pro bowlers you all would blame special teams and the coaches.
