Did the Bucs play a bad game in Buffalo.
Yes & No………Defense, ST Bad Offense Good
But coaching horrible
We don’t have and edge rush because we have not invested in one……we have a 3rd round pick…YaYa…..and a 4th round pick Nelson. The JTS 1st round pick was a waste.
And apparently a failed Injured FA Reddick
Look at the Oline…..2 first round and 2 second round picks.
WR……2 first round….2 3rd round picks
D line

D line 3 first round picks
NO investment in Edge

Bottom line is … we are in another mid season slump under Bowles ! No excuses please ! This is a constant under Bowles leadership ! This team is not getting the job done ! Counting on beating weak teams to finish the season and crawl into the playoffs again just to lose the first round enthuses no one ! !

Inactivity at the trade deadline looks worse with every mounting loss. Why are the Special Teams coaches still employed by the Bucs?
November 19th, 2025 at 12:09 pm
Joe is an inarticulate, unhinged man baby. Reminds of another high profile public figure that can’t make cogent arguments effectively and as a result devolves immediately into temper tantrums.
It’s embarrassing

Have to agree with him challenging Ira and I like Ira as he is reasonable, knows his football and has always been a professional journalist.
HOWEVER, to say the least Bucs played a good game because they were “competitive” is something I strongly disagree with.
When your special teams are running down the field and not doing their assignments to keep the returner in the middle of the field and at least force him to run into the “bunch” around the 25 and suppose he squeezes out to the 28-35, that is t “good football” it’s average. Anything beyond the 40 is plain and simple: BAD. Past the 50 is terrible.
Then the defense. You have to look at the cumulative past 2 games not just Sunday at Buffalo and Ira in my opinion is off because even if they don’t have the horses, a good zone team can be soft and prevent big plays but the Bucs gave up big plays of around 6 to brown in both games that have been over 40 yards, that is inexcusable that a defensive coordinator who happens to have too many responsibilities to be a head coach besides cannot scheme to stop these long throws it into coverage by the way. Wide open guys catching short passes on the perimeters or being open in the end zone and not having g good coverage. That is t bad, that is disastrous.
So if your defense is a catastrophe with the easy TDs and special teams is as bad you cannot say they played a good game just because they were competitive on the scoreboard.
it is not disastrous having Josh Allen run up the middle for TDs but giving up long touchdowns to backup receivers who no one has ever heard of on Nde England and Buffalo is bad football.
I won’t argue that Ira is using common sense with his picks but I will argue that the way the Bucs are losing is because they playing good football is looking at the games with low expectations.
Going back in time when Ricky Prohl caught that perfect throw from Kurt with great coverage to beat the Bucs in NFC Championship, that was getting beat by a great play. These Bucs are getting beat by playing bad defense with guys making mistakes and not understanding where to be in coverage. This team is supposed to have “star” players making impact plays, especially McCollum and Winfield who are amongst the highest paid players on the team. It is bad coaching or them being content and not taking the responsibility to play better and help cover these opponents from taking these receptions to the house.
Scheme the defense to bend but not break.

Ira’s Josh Allen aas kissing is also embarrassing. Why bother lining up against him if he is so fn good. Give me a break? Maybe our defense should offer up some resistance for a change instead of letting teams have their way up and down the field, receivers running wide aas open all day and all season long. Horrendous to watch. Mike Smithesque.
You are no sage sir.

Lee is a child. Storming off the podcast because he disagrees with Ira. Grow up Lee it’s a damn game. You’re gonna have a heart attack over a game. Disagree but you don’t have to act like my 5 year old

WOW ! WOW ! WOW ! That was music to my ears. It needed to be said. Thank you, thank you Lee. Mr. Sycophant has dropped his drawers.

Blame Licht as Todd has to manufacture pass rush ..Licht has failed and drafted bums in the first 2 rds and not signed anyone with upside.

Moderated of course. Thanks Lee.

Cmon Joe! Storming off the podcast for disagreeing about a game is not a good look. Stop moderating my posts calling you out for acting like a baby. Grow up, it’s A GAME. You’re gonna have a heart attack over A GAME

Emotions gone wild podcast! Holy Moly!
Agree with Ira, “The sky isn’t falling.”
Playing at Buffalo is not pretty. However, don’t think Josh will be MVP. Not Stafford either. Still rooting for Baker. A lot of games left.
It’s not all on Todd. A lot of other impacts going on. Ref calls, injuries, I sure hope we win the Rams!

Dad had many brothers. I only have 2 brothers. Very headstrong brothers. And 4 equally stubborn sons. So me and old Junebug’s favorite podcast “clash” was really rather tepid. Interested listeners and Bucs fans widespread can be excused the hearty belly laugh. Anyway, Damn Right Fellas!!
