Patriots Fan Invasion Expected, Promoted

November 5th, 2025

Oh, boy. There will be ugliness on Sunday.

Joe feels for the Bucs fans who will spend hundreds of presumably hard-earned dollars to sit in a swarm of Bucs-bashing fans screaming for the opposition. That’s a quality experience.

Brace yourself.

Not only are there just about zero unsold tickets available for the Bucs-Patriots game, Joe has been studying Patriots fan sites and there seems to be extreme mobilization for attendance on Sunday.

One “Tampa New England Patriots Fan Club” is promoting a full weekend of festivities, including a gathering Saturday night in South Tampa and a postgame concert in South Tampa (shame on that establishment) in addition to a massive tailgate. The group claims FOX-13 TV in Tampa is planning a feature on their unity and spirit to support the Patriots in Tampa. Joe is temporarily boycotting the station.

Joe also has seen that the Patriots organization sent information to season ticket holders about supporting the team in Tampa.

As of 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday the cheapest unsold ticket remaining for the game on TicketMaster.com is $578.30 plus tax. The least expensive verified resale ticket on the site is $232.00 plus tax. Those realities, of course, are subject to change.

We just need the W. And screw all the patriots fans

  2. gp Says:

Win the game, and the post game party will be weak at best.
Not one to support boycotts, but I’d be hard put to come up with a good reason to frequent that “establishment”.

  3. JohnQCitizen Says:

    Meh…..

  4. Smarter than Joe Says:

Bucs fans are the worst, no loyalty, no heart

I automatically assume any time we play a team with a winning history I will be surrounded by fans of the opposition

  5. JTHV Says:

Nothing worse than scumbag Philly’s, Boston’s and New Yorkers coming down to tell us how great their dirty disgusting democrat ran hometowns are.

    Bucs W, screw Boston

  6. gbobucsfan Says:

Coming down to the game from NC….planned on buying tix right before the game but who knows now!!??? Too rich for my blood.

  7. Evo Says:

Best way to shut them up! Dominant! It makes me sick. Yes if I could afford tickets I’d go!

  8. John Sinclear Says:

I am really impressed by the hospitality (hostility?) shown here. Of course they’re coming. It’s Florida. In winter. It’s cold up there. They come down, spend all their money, party, then go back up north and back into their igloos for the winter.

Just take their money and be nice!

  9. KC Buc Says:

I wish when we host northeast teams like this, that we got the games scheduled for Thurday nights or even Monday nights. I’d have to imagine that’d help keep some of the opposing teams fans from traveling a little.

I feel for our players – it must suck to play in your home stadium and have it feel like a neutral and sometimes away game at times. Hard to blame fans though if they can resell their tickets for a nice profit to these visitors and help finance their season tickets. Shameful to do it for a playoff game though, should be a true home environment no matter who comes to town.

  10. David Says:

That’s what sucks about living in a state with a bunch of transplants, they don’t support the local teams, like the Rays, and then they point and say look, you don’t sell at your stadium. A holes. Best thing to do is put the game away by halftime shut them up and send them packing

  11. David Says:

Smarter than Joe… The real fans are perfectly fine, although some are perpetually pessimistic.

The people you are talking about are not Buccaneer fans, they are Boston fans or New York or Philly or Baltimore or Ohio or Chicago… A bunch of transplants that have lived in Florida for 20+ years and still don’t support the local teams.

  12. ChiBuc Says:

Y’all are such hapless victims, whose stadium can literally be taken over any given Sunday. NC totally expected to buy 1st run tix gameday for the 6-2 home team. There is only 1 reason why NE fans will outnumber Buc fans….YOU! Look in the mirror, into the eyes of true fairweatherhood and know the true reason why. Your only support is to complain…about coaching, trades, weather, heat, drive, parking, cost…and now you complain about real fans showing up for their team. Buc up or shut up

  13. Mike C Says:

500 for a Ticket, gee it is almost like every Boston massa hole spent the years Ticket budget to price normal fans out SMH.

  15. PSL Bob Says:

There was an ex Pats player on one of the SiriusXM NFL shows last week talking about mobilization for the Bucs game. He has some type of non-profit set up, and I think he was actually paying for some of the transportation.

  16. Bejeezusbelt Says:

As long as the home team shows up, all those Whiny Pats home will taste sweet defeat. The Patriots will not be playing a team this weekend that will have a top 5 draft pick, Like 5 of the wins they have. They will have to work for it if they win this weekend.

  17. ballwasher61 Says:

I say put whoopie cushions on all the seats for the fans and let that be the crowd noise, how great would a collective fart be? Especially after the bad calls you know are coming. No boo’s, just farts..

  18. Tucker Says:

If we get to see them all go home sad it’s worth it go bucs.

  19. Rod stewart Says:

Joe what’s the name of this establishment? Might have to go by with my diesel truck and smoke some people the f out

  20. Hodad Says:

Bucs fans aren’t the worst, they’re the best! We just happen to live in a state with plenty of NE transplants. Bucs need to just piss on their parade.

  21. Marky mark Says:

Yea lots off new England expats down here. I lived in Boston but remained a Browns ,fan till the Watson debacle chased me to the Bucs.

  22. HopetheBucswin!! Says:

2 tickets=$600+. I think I’ll go buy an inflatable hot tub instead. Go Bowles!

  23. Rob in Land O' Lakes Says:

I love carpetbaggers who move here, do nothing but b!tch about being here, contribute nothing and only show up to a sporting event when it’s Boston or Philly. Great addition to the community. Hey! Isn’t that Bill Buckner???? !!!!

  24. Bucs 95 Says:

Well the state of florida has alot of people living here that are originally from up north they bring there good salaries down here and made every thing so expensive down here for us locals

  25. Rob in Land O' Lakes Says:

Boston and Philly fans are the NICEST aren’t they? Start drinking at 6:00am, start a fight, vomit, get kicked out and the season ticket holder gets lectured by the Tampa Sports Authority about “the Fan Code of Conduct”

  26. Stanglassman Says:

For every opposing team’s fan you see at the stadium half of them actually live in the area. Most of them say that they root for the Bucs whenever they’re not playing their (original) home town team. New England fans are some of the best behaved. Minnesota fans were always the best back in the old NFC central days.

  27. Mike C Says:

Pittsburgh hot Taken over by greenbay the other night, It happens everywhere when a Team is doing good, it is especially bad here because we don’t live in a crap town that everyone wants to move away from…

  28. Patrickbucs Says:

Exactly Mike C. Was just going to say that.
