Coach Haason Reddick
October 23rd, 2025While edge rusher Haason Reddick is no longer a feared pass rusher, and he’s injured and won’t play Sunday, he’s still getting a job done.
Edge rusher/outside linebackers coach Larry Foote talked today about how 31-year-old Reddick is coaching up the youngsters in his position group.
“In that room bringing that veteran presence, even on Thursdays when we get together with the defensive line talking about games, [he is] teaching guys, talking to the young guys, bringing that juice and energy,” Foote said of Reddick.
As for ascending edge rusher YaYa Diaby (4 sacks), Foote said Reddick is a big part of that reality.
“[Reddick is] teaching Yaya, just giving him little tips that I don’t have, and just watching how he attacks the day, the energy he brings in practice,” Foote said. “Yaya is ascending and Reddick has been helping — big time.”

Is he just showing film of himself and saying “do the complete opposite of what you see here.”
I really do like that the Bucs have a team full of good guys that are about helping each other out and making each other better. I do think that’s a reflection on the guys drafting and picking up free agents. They’ve done a great job there! You really don’t hear of teams like the Bucs, everyone is usually all for themselves. Saying all that….. I do think the coaches and front office get carried away sometimes when they talk about things and players. JTS being a step away from being Lawrence Taylor or Reddick here coaching guys up and turning them into all pro ballers. Come on guys!!! All the selling you’re doing to the media you need to spend that time with the front office convincing them to get the few pieces we need to win a Super Bowl!!

Not sure why Reddick coaching is valuable? He has been a nonentity for 1.5 yrs. His going rate is $14mill per sack. Not his fault. It was Licht who signed him.
October 23rd, 2025 at 7:13 pm
Not so good. Another bust. Oh well. Sign a player get a coach? This makes no sense.
October 23rd, 2025 at 7:14 pm
Are we heading to .500…..Sunday will tell.
October 23rd, 2025 at 7:18 pm
Yeah, yeah, yeah… That’s a buncha nuthin. Coach Speak.
October 23rd, 2025 at 7:26 pm
Right who in the filth farn filth is he coaching up.😏😏
October 23rd, 2025 at 7:30 pm
Jason said all spring Braswell is going to shock us this year. Guess I have missed something……
October 23rd, 2025 at 7:30 pm
32 mil wasted on him and Godwin. No help to the team. Washed up Reddick and a 30 yr old receiver coming off another terrible injury. These guys out are not making any difference on a game outcome.
October 23rd, 2025 at 7:52 pm
It’s obvious that Reddick is a good dude and a good teammate who cares about the team’s success.
I just wish his production matched his good character.

Amen Brother (Erik)
October 23rd, 2025 at 8:07 pm
Larry Foote is an idiot for even saying that. You can get a good coach for a heck of a lot less than $14m. lol. Total waste of money and space. Sign Shaq back for vet minimum. He can’t be any worse.
October 23rd, 2025 at 8:16 pm
Good to know our outside linebacker coach doesn’t have any tips to share with his players.
October 23rd, 2025 at 8:24 pm
Cool, cause we’re running short on millionaire athletes in street clothes coaching.
October 23rd, 2025 at 8:34 pm
Another example of absent coaching. The player has to do,it.
We could have hired Brian Flores to be DC. ButbTpdd is too arrogant and wants the spotlight as His Geniusness.
What a joke.

Watching this TNF game, and the Vikings QB got sacked, and shockingly it wasn’t Sucke at fault.
The Vikings have been on national TV way too much, and Sucke is normally the star when it comes to giving up awful sacks, so it was a good change of pace to see him not be at fault once.
October 23rd, 2025 at 9:13 pm
NFL, please ban the boring Minnesota Vikings from all future prime time games.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
October 23rd, 2025 at 9:16 pm
Bucs really going to struggle pressuring the QB. This is going to end poorly.
NO 24-Bucs 17
October 23rd, 2025 at 9:21 pm
Expecting all three coordinators to have their units flat as pancakes. Lacking a head coach, the swoon is on and 5-6 is coming, as is traditional for Bowels teams in late November.
Except this year the chickens come home to roost. No miracle bounce backs. Baker feels like it all depends on him, the rest of the team has gone into hibernation without a head coach directing them.
October 23rd, 2025 at 9:30 pm
He is probably better than Bowles
October 23rd, 2025 at 9:36 pm
Do you morons know the Bucs are 5-2 and in first place?
Just checking, since you sound like a bunch of idiots with your non-stop complaining.
October 23rd, 2025 at 9:38 pm
While Reddick’s intentions might be good, he’s certainly not leading by example.
October 23rd, 2025 at 9:50 pm
Chargers game is fire, hope Baker watching it–that is exactly what I wanna see him do!
October 23rd, 2025 at 9:53 pm
I thought they should’ve passed on him from the beginning & it’s starting to look that way.
October 23rd, 2025 at 10:02 pm
I am rewatching the game. Díaby got the strip sack take away because Reddick backed his man tight into Geoff’s face making Goff a sitting duck for Diaby coming from Geoff’s blind side.
It was a great play by Diaby to battle to get to where he could stretch out and knock the ball free. But, Diaby doesn’t get the chance to make that play if Reddick hadn’t pinned Goff like the prize butterfly in a collector’s exhibit.
Reddick still has some fierceness left in his tank.
October 23rd, 2025 at 10:12 pm
Sucke just gave up the sack… but in fairness, Carson should have got rid of the ball faster. But if you had Sucke giving up a sack, you win!
October 23rd, 2025 at 11:10 pm
You think BuC hater Cam Jordan isn’t sick of
the Buc talk? Watch, I can’t stand the guys mouth or him but he’ll be and have everyone out to inflict pain on Baker. Sadly Saints 28 Bucs 17
October 23rd, 2025 at 11:10 pm
Al Michaels constant gambling references as the NBA is exposed for the mob-linked corrupt organization it is, is the only thing making this game watchable.
October 23rd, 2025 at 11:19 pm
That was one of the most boring, dull, national games I remember, at least recently. I’d have literally rather watched a Browns game over that slop.
October 23rd, 2025 at 11:22 pm
ROTFLMAO!!!
October 23rd, 2025 at 11:23 pm
It will start a losing avalanche if the Bucs lose to New Orleans. Todd has had consistent losing in mid season against lesser teams, so as much as I want a Bucs win I await Sunday I retain major concerns about winning with the lack of head coaching the Bucs have.
October 23rd, 2025 at 11:53 pm
Todd follows Gruden’s example as the shortest tenured coach with an extension in history. Chucky got extended and fired a year later. Bowles will follow suit.
Excited to see what Jason does when his hands aren’t tied – who will be the next BA?

Rod Munch Says “Do you morons know the Bucs are 5-2 and in first place?
Just checking, since you sound like a bunch of idiots with your non-stop complaining.”
This is the Rod Munch who wanted to bench Baker Mayfield for the great Kyle Trask.

I hate these articles trying to find a positive out of an injury. Reddick needed to stay on the field and show out. He’s done neither. Now we’re supposed to take solace in that he’s an expensive cheerleader.
October 24th, 2025 at 12:35 am
I wouldn’t throw the bust label on him that fast. He and Yaya had the production (minus the sacks) and they are starting to come for Yaya. Reddick is still an important piece for the defense and still miles better than Nelson or Braswell.
October 24th, 2025 at 12:37 am
Yeah we pay coaches to coach. And this guy to get sacks and it’s hasn’t happen. Another whiff at pass rusher
October 24th, 2025 at 3:24 am
Still a TEAM sport. Bucs have 20 sacks in 7 games, on-pace for a 48.5 sack season. THAT’S standard Todd Bowles’ sack production right there. Starting in 2019 his defenses have gotten 47, 48, 47, 44, 47, 46 sacks … an average of 46.5 sacks per season. Considering the broad range of talent he’s had to work with, that looks to be amazingly CONSISTENT sack production.
Interestingly though, PRESSURES have varied quite a bit more over the years. Currently the Bucs have 59 pressures in 7 games, on-track for 143 pressures this year. Starting in 2019, his defenses have gotten 186, 193, 224, 144, 136 & 175 pressures … an average of 176 pressures per season.
Of course, we all know that pressures are meaningless. Come to think of it, I wonder if Reddick got a ‘pressure’ on that play that Diaby got the sack. Nah, pressures don’t impact the game.
October 24th, 2025 at 4:40 am
If Reddick would stop using all his juice and energy on Thursday, maybe he would have some left for Sunday.
October 24th, 2025 at 4:45 am
Reddick rushing against some of these huge right tackles in the league has looked like a mismatch a few times this year. That certainly doesn’t mean Reddick is not a good football player. Because he’s a good football player. So is Dennis. So is Winfield. And McCollum. I’m glad Reddick is staying connected while he’s injured and hoping he’s ready to go after the bye. He’s the kind of player who will be valuable come playoff time. The 4 players I named have been getting kicked around on this site this week. I’m glad we’ve got all 4 of them.
October 24th, 2025 at 7:13 am
Simeon Rice could coach them up better for less than 14 million I bet.
October 24th, 2025 at 7:16 am
That is the equivalent of me paying a dishwasher $500 an hour to give bartending lessons. Wish this free agent pick-up worked out, but it didn’t.
October 24th, 2025 at 7:49 am
bring back shaq barrett it worked last year. the nelly/braswell combo is not scaring anyone poor yaya
October 24th, 2025 at 9:19 am
If Reddick wants to help out a younger teammate, what’s wrong with that? As some one else pointed out, Bucs have a lot of star players who have been helping coach when they’re injured and when they’re playing: LVD, both CG14 and ME13, Bake, etc.
It’s called being a TEAM. It sure beats talking about crooked refs. Where are the genuine fans on here? What’s with the NOLA’s gonna win BS? I’m not talking rose colored glasses, either! I’m rooting for Tampa Bay to beat both NOLA and the refs. You want to root for the Aints, go to their fan sites. Honest criticism is one thing, but that’s not the BS on here for the most part! Go Bucs!!
October 24th, 2025 at 9:39 am
Since Reddick demands attention, it’s allowing Diaby more chances. Not worth 14mil., but it is helping. Just like having Dennis healthy allows the safeties to stay in position to do their jobs. There is a method to the madness.
October 24th, 2025 at 10:09 am
Spotlight on Braswell. He’s GOT TO show something. Diaby will get doubled so #43 needs to step up and produce. Rooting for him. His Time.
