I definitely do not expect us to beat the Jets.

I’ll be shocked if we do.

  2. HC Grover Says:

Shades of Ray Graves Ghost. What a game plan.

  3. Roscoe Says:

Don’t ever forget that after the Denver game last year Todd Bowles said ” I had nothing to do with that ! “

  4. Mr. Editor Says:

I liked the discussion of special teams. Did anyone notice the slow-as-molasses kicking form of Riley Dixon? It led to at least one blocked punt. That has to be addressed.

  5. Dubcity6 Says:

Sheesh this was negative episode.. love this podcast but come on gents.. teams 2 and 0 against tough opponents that they usually lose to.
And the other teams get paid also.. goodness gracious

Negative?? Nobody picked the Bucs to lose. Understandable concern about the O-line.–Joe

  6. Aqualung Says:

Roscoe – Bowles never takes accountability. You mean the guy who always says, “We gotta coach it better,” and the guy who hired himself help to manage a game?–Joe
Remember last year someone asked why it seemed the defense tightened up coverage and played better in the second halves of games toward the end of the season. Classic Todd said, “I don’t know why.”

And now we have a glaring full on special teams crisis headed up by Mr Magoo. Nada changes.

But, he’s a known genius so we have that going for us.

    Love the lively discussion!

Hoping to see Wirfs soon too. Reddick has to be pumped up to play his former team. Looking forward in seeing what he does. Rooting for McLaughlin to come through. He has done well for so long.

If the Bucs keep doing what they are doing and yes – “Keeping focused” we will see another win. Hoping we win by a larger margin though. These close games to the wire are nerve-racking, lol. Go Bucs!

Erik – Never say never 😊🏈

  8. Ugotrobbed Says:

It was an obvious block in the back on that punt, that was called…and then they picked the flag up! Not sure why no one is talking about that!?

  9. Kenton Smith Says:

Me and the old hound always enjoy our favorite podcast. Is the new holder the culprit in our kicker’s woes? Joe hit it it’s mental. The new holder doesn’t make a lick of difference. Except the mental changes to an already shook kicker. Nobody on the team should even speak to the guy. Absolutely don’t look him in the eye. He could melt. A precarious situation we find ourselves in just beginning our banner season. I believe if we leave him alone he may be able to gather himself and get back to normal. It’s still iffy though. I do know this much. If he’s questioned by the local ace reporter, especially “what’s going on”, that’s the equivalent of pushing over the edge. You don’t want that, do you, Sage? Please Sir, if you see him, turn and go away. Absolutely don’t make eye contact with him! Geez guys, come on!!

I think Steve nailed it- if the RB got past a certain point, maybe, maybe, they said let him in to preserve the clock.

No chance they said hey just let them run it in no matter what. Also I don’t think Winfield could have even made the tackle. It was such an extreme angle and he was multiple yards away from Chubb.
