Two Bucs Upgraded On Thursday Injury Report
September 18th, 2025
Haason Reddick
In a sea of bad Bucs health news, there were a couple of uplifting nuggets today.
Inside linebacker SirVocea Dennis (ankle) and edge rusher Haason Reddick were considered full-go in practice after a “limited” designation yesterday.
Rookie stud receiver Emeka Egbuka remained out with hip and groin issues. Yes, that’s two injuries.

Have to say that Houston was playing a physical brand of football. Too bad. To beat the Bucs this year they’ll have to bring a little bit more physical brand of football!

I’ve been saying this all o the off-season
This team has way too many question marks
More questions than an jeopardy episode
There’s still 15 games to go, in the regular season
I see a downgrade from last season
Call me negative, call me whatever
But I’m realistic, I’m not on Fantasy Island
I hope they can get to 10-7, that would be a huge accomplishment

The defense is mostly healthy & can play without Kancey…….I was encouraged in both games with the red zone stops……if they can clean up the softness on the opening drives they will be fine.
I’m expecting them to play well Sunday.
The offense is severely depleted but had a great deal of talent……

Aren’t there two different types of IR ?
If there are then a different abbreviation besides IR needs to be used.

Not even St George himself could survive the continuous barrage of hits that is being felt to this Bucs team… and he fought the great prophet Muhammad in Zaire

Let SirCantCover mend on the bench. Dion Jones shows he can play. Glad Reddick is better. Please have him on the line 9 out of 10 like in Atlanta and not trying to cover Garrett Wilson, who should be followed by double coverage every play. Every.Play.

Weird take NeckBraceNed. I’ll take History for $800.
Dennis can’t cover in space. He’s a big liability against good RBs in the pass game.

Must be exhausting trying to predict the future all the time! Let’s stay present guys. 2-0 with an opportunity to be 3-0 by Sunday evening. We spend all offseason looking forward to these next couple of months… enjoy them

I though yaya was mia last game. Dennis makes KJ Britt look like a great cover LB.
September 18th, 2025 at 5:41 pm
Better hope emeka can go. I don’t know if they win both games without him. Pulling that coverage from Mike he’s young. McMillan being out hurting right now. Bullshi

LakelandBuc said they had too many question marks to beat Atlanta. Oops. Now that there are 5 more on the injury report, he’s doubling down…but acting like it was the case all offseason.
Would love to know the team in his mind that doesn’t consider third-string players question marks, because he wants to be a sooth-sayer now, after being wrong originally.
It’s like he is disappointed so much about being wrong that he wants to blind-squirrel this thing and claim to be right, instead of just being positive about the team and be excited about what they’ve overcome so far. Just freaking enjoy the ride!

Grizz being tested more than any oc since Bowles took over for sure, maybe a little more run heavy quick pass schemes to get ball out quicker idk, certainly going to be tough sledding
September 18th, 2025 at 6:08 pm
Remember last year; all cocksure about the bumbling Broncos… Big loss… These jets are gonna come out fighting for a win. Even backup NFL players can ball out.
September 18th, 2025 at 6:12 pm
I was feeling confident—it’s the Jets, after all—but with virtually no offensive linemen left, I’m not so sure anymore. The Jets have a strong defensive line, and without adequate protection, this could turn into a very long game.

Sure you are – your fantasy is just a consistently krappy one. 😉

Yes there are. There’s IR with Designated to Return, and IR with no return. A team is allowed to use IR-DTR 8 times total. IR with no return is just like the IR from the old days – done until next year.
It should be specifically pointed out which one a player is on to avoid confusion.

I’ve been quite for the most part for these couple first games trying to give the team as a whole the chance to see what Biwles and associates has turn “especially the defense” into… Rusty wheel again or something to be proud of. For the Most part the defense is looking good. Sure there’s still plenty to be concerned about concerning the defense but For The First Time since Bowles took over, … I Can’t say that I’m Spitting Fire, embarrassed and disgusted at a clown show. The defense IS representing themselves “as a whole” Pretty Well… Finally.
So flower for Bowles and the majority of our defensive players and their defensive efforts. Some GREAT STOPS many times already this year. Now if Bowles can figure out a way to unprogram the “Fear the Interception” that he banged into their heads that matched the Super Soft protect strategy of Bowles…. They MISS SO MANY possible interceptions that it now seems Obvious that that are still simply Scared to Actually Catch the available interceptions that are falling into there hands half the time.
NOT ONE INTERCEPTION CAUGHT IS NOT A COINCIDENCE! They’ve had what? 4/5 opportunities in the last 2 games and Not One catch???? Not a coincidence..
Now, the offense… I Spoke Loudly about Not Betting on the win IF Geodeke wasn’t a go… And when he Did go down Baker Put on his Skates! And he was slapped around Badly. SO, SO LUCKY that he didn’t get seriously injured last game…
But Now… Mauch Also Out.. FOR THE YEAR…!!
Even though I’m hoping for the miracle win (and I Believe in Miracles) , the somehow, someway, hodge podge, and the slapped together front line can protect our QB,…. is Worth praying for.
Careful with those bets to win though. If you’re gonna bet, bet on some likely to happen “because of” type of bets. Until Wirfs and Geodeke (?) get back…. TOUGH SLEDDING FOR THE LEADER OF THE PACK…
Here’s to Miracles. GO BUCS

This is probably the least important game of the year for the next 2 months. Inferior opponent and the other conference. The Eagles game the following week is huge. Lets rest Egbuka, etc and hopefully Godwin and Wirfs as well as Egbuka and others are ready for Phily. We should be able to sleepwalk past the Jets.

I looked at Deion Jones pff grade, and the coverage part didn’t look so good. THEN, I looked at Dennis. OMG
September 18th, 2025 at 7:18 pm
Just have to believe if we make it through the next few weeks in decent shape and start to return some guys we will be in great shape then.

Benched ME13 for Coleman, I feel like such a heel. Simply doesn’t look like Mike can get many opportunities in the near future

You actually think that after seeing Egbuka on the injury report? Make no mistake that Mike is getting most of the WR targets this week. Also, the run game will suffer for the next month. Mike is going to be the most important asset until the OL returns to form.
