    Great after-game podcast!

Enjoyed hearing about the meetings and leading on picks. Last night, I began worrying more about injuries too. Jalen’s scared me and it looked like the Steelers were pounding Bucky. Mike will probably play during the Bills preseason. I would like to see him sit it out. Keep him healthy for the Falcons game.

Teddy did well and only has been on the Bucs for a minute, and hadn’t played in the NFL for awhile. Trask has been doing pretty good too. Hard decisions there.

Parrish, Greene, Grier, Wright, and so many others did very well last night. Loved the interceptions. They can work on the fumbles. McLaughlin did great!

Have to say me and the old hound are in hog heaven! Football is close now. Our team is getting better! So what Bucky carried 8 times for 12 yards. Grizzard is smart-really smart. The early running game is a smoke screen. We won’t win the Super Bowl being a run first team! That’s what we screwed up last season. And we know it. We’re going to have a great running team but it’s complementary to the best passing game in the NFL. We threw 2 TD passes in the first quarter and Evans and Godwin not on the field? We have an elite passing game, and I don’t mean maybe! Injuries happen. Season enders like Walker and JJ are a shame. Most though are not season ending- that’s where the depth comes in. Egbuka improves our offense 3 points per game and Parrish improves our defense 3 points per game. Too bad the Sage wasn’t there to challenge our Joe on his Jamal Dean cornerback prowess. I like Dean. Summing it up our offense will shock good defenses into playing 7 deep and then we run the ball down their throats. When they load the box we pad already obscene passing numbers. We’re not good enough to run it down their throats unless we soften them up first. We’re definitely good enough to soften them up first, though. And be nice to Trask! He’s a good guy. And he’s not done yet.

Heck was just awful. We’re in bad shape on the left side. I wasn’t sure how he would do. It’s obvious, he is much worse than Skule. Got to have TE help every play.

Heck was awful in pass pro, but he made up for it with poor run blocking…..

Nothing like some John McKay on a Sunday morning. 🙂 Well done.
