So glad JBF gives us these detailed reports so often during camp and through the season !! Keep it up Steve , Ira & Lee ! Ira … you are the Chairman of the Board regarding all things Bucs !

Wow, I continue to disagree with the Joes and Ira on this overly optimistic Wirfs is not going on the PUP list. Wirfs is still walking with a cane or crutches sometime — correct. I wonder what Dr. David Wenke would say about how long Wirfs would be out.

We will see. Can mark the archives today.

I agree with IRA that it is easier for someone like Fitzgerald to get in first ballot than ME. I also love the story that Mike Evans has done something no one else has when he gets to 12 straight seasons this season with 1000 yards or more.

I continue to disagree with the Joes and Ira on this overly optimistic Wirfs is not going on the PUP list.

Here’s why: If Wirfs is on the PUP list, he misses first four games. There’s no way around that. From a team perspective, why paint yourself into a corner when you don’t have to?

If the Bucs are absolutely, positively sure there’s no way Wirfs can play in Week 4, then the PUP list makes sense.

If there is a prayer Wirfs could play by Week 4, no need to shoot yourself in the foot.

Right now there is no one, not the Bucs, not Wirfs, not his doctors, no one knows if Week 4 is off the table.

I called the JTS BUST the first 3 games he played. Of course I was destroyed for saying so I want wrong and have not been wrong about an early bust call in my 50 years as a Bucs fan. Next on the list? Braswell. BUST CITY incoming. Write it down.

Me and old Junebug just listened to our favorite podcast. McCollum will have biggest year of 4 young veterans because it’s a contract year. That’s bad. Barber says “crucial” Braswell has big camp. That’s bad. Evans not first ballot? That’s bad. Our other Joe in Pittsburgh and absent from the podcast. Bad news. Old Junebug is a Bassett Hound and she looks sadder than usual and she is the saddest looking dog on earth anyway. Bad news all the way around. Almost. The good news is Mayfield and this offense are going down in history this year. The defense is moving into the top 10 on sheer will. I know Joe and Sage that you’re still positive about the season. But maybe not as positive as you should be. And that’s more bad news.

Fun podcast! Evans is my favorite player. His reputation on and off the field is impeccable. They are a community family that do so much with their foundation.

Agree, Trask did well. Can’t wait to see how Teddy does this weekend. Also agree, no cutting Braswell. Enjoyed the four names question. Agree again.

Thank you for the laugh about one way streets. So true, so true. No anchovies for me and no roundabouts either! There is one near Annapolis, MD that was really scary the last time I was there. Clearwater’s is really gentle compared to it.
