Godwin put those sneakers on immediately and looked to be prancing about with no limps. It really heartened me.

Tomorrow is the summer solstice. 1st day of summer. Most sunlight of any day of the year. The day after the days start getting shorter. Two a days start in about a month at high schools across America. And it’s hot. And then the season kicks off. And the nights start getting darker earlier. And before long it’s chilly and you have to say goodbye to the summer. But who cares? Because our team has been working hard for months and are prepared to play even when we have blankets in the stands because it’s so cold. And ponchos because it’s so wet. It’s finishing time and we know our team is prepared for this. What a great game. And what a great podcast crew. Me and my old hound are happy. If you live to 90 you only get 90 football seasons. Sure good to have a likeminded bunch to cruise through this with. Thanks JBF.

Can’t wait for the history lesson on coaches in the last 30 years, that have lost four seasons and still coached!
Kenton, your comments are always uplifting. Your old hound is very loved. Summer is here for awhile in FL. It’s hot. I feel for the Bucs practicing outside and anyone else that works outdoors in the FL summer months. Yesterday, I was off and did 4 hours of yard work after I got back home in the afternoon. This seems like the most intense heat than ever before. Bucs need to stay healthy and be careful out there. Hydrate, hydrate, and hydrate again. Jump in the ice baths!

heyjude, I know the flora and fauna is quite different down there in Florida than what we have here in Eastern Oklahoma. I’d of gotten a kick out of working in your yard with you I’m sure. Retirement is good but it’s new. My hobbies for many years have been golfing, motorcycle riding, and growing things. I fancy myself a plant man. That, along with a healthy amount of kids and grandkids keep me going and wife and I trying to travel some. JBF though has become one of my favorite hobbies and I am really impressed with Tampa and this fan base. And talk about a cheap hobby! Thanks JBF! Looking forward to visiting Tampa Bay someday soon- for a Super Bowl party!! Go Bucs!!

And to our hard working Joe who doesn’t appreciate golf. I didn’t get a chance to start playing until I was 50 years old. Find you a municipal course, prices are pretty reasonable. Nothing wrong with taking a cart. Enjoy nature and then it won’t be “a good walk spoiled”. I bet if you forced yourself through 3 rounds (a round is 18 holes) you’d have a different opinion of it. And maybe a healthy habit for life!!
