Bucky Irving No. 94

June 18th, 2025

Broke through in 2024.

You know it is summertime when this is published.

Once again, a tradition of summer (even though we’re still a few days away from the official start of summer) is back with prickly Pete Prisco of CBS releasing his Top-100 players in the league.

The first Bucs player on the list is second-year running back Bucky Irving. Prisco believes Bucky is the No. 94 player in the NFL.

Irving started just three games as a rookie in 2024, and had just 207 carries, but he still ran for 1,122 yards with eight rushing touchdowns. He averaged 5.4 yards per rush and I expect him to have many more carries this season and for him to be higher on the list in 2026.

Well, like Bucs running backs coach Skip Peete said this spring, the only difference between a No. 1 back and a starter is the starter is on the field for the first snap. So Bucky is the guy for the Bucs.

Joe is interested to see what Bucky does this year. Naturally, defensive coordinators have had all offseason to scheme up ways to stop him. Can Bucky adjust?

Defensive coaches had all last season to figure out ways to slow Bucky down. They never did.

94 works for this fan. Lets get him good and mad about that and make some extra buletin board material?

    Go Bucs!

  2. Daniel Dream Says:

He’s on track to become the bast RB in the NFC this season

  3. Brent Clark Says:

PLAY ACTION is the key create diversions he’s elite out of the backfield or passing and with White lining up with him defenses will go crazy trying to figure out who has the ball and even deep plays over the defenses will make them stay in a neutral position so not to get burned. I SEE BAKER SITTING BACK AND PICKING TEAMS APART THIS IS GOING TO BE AN UMBELIVABLE YEAR… GO BUCS!!!!

  4. JimBobBuc Says:

Last year, it took a while for Carbs and Pic to find the run plays that best suited Bucky. This year the other teams’ defenses will be ready for Bucky, so Carbs and Pic need to tweak the run plays. Let’s see what they dream up for Bucky. LFG!

Love seeing Bucky rock the Kobe cleats

Bucs finally have a running game

Too many weapons on the offensive to focus just on Bucky. Defensive Coordinators are going to be overwhelmed with the Bucs offense this year. It’s going to be hard to stop the Bucs from putting up 30 points per game. We just need our defense to limit the opposing offensive from putting up the same amount of points.

  7. Dan Says:

He’s Tampa’s next Warrick Dunn he’s going to be a key player for the Buccaneers

I AM PUMPED UP TO SEE THE VIDEO GAME NUMBERS WE PAINT ON ANY TEAM THAT OPPOSES US!

It IS “more than” Possible to Break Many, Many of our Offensive records!

Man I’m telling you, GET READY TO SEE HISTORY IN THE MAKING!

Our defense HAS TO find a way to keep pace! And THAT maybe a Tall order but REGARDLESS of a Shameful showing these last few years thus far, THEY BETTER FIND THE WAYS!

    SUPER BOWL OR BUST!
