Me, the old hound, a pot of pinto beans and a pan of fried potatoes. A fried egg (over easy) over the top of the fried potatoes and the beans on the side. A hundred dollar New York City steak ain’t got nothing on this Okie! Didn’t have ham hocks to cook with the beans but bacon always works. Oh well. My favorite podcast and our 3 ace reporters. Giving props to our OLine, GM and Baker. Mike Florio has some pull but what an ignorant Belidunce article. Now I’m hard on Belidunce and I don’t have more knowledge of Baker Mayfield and his opinions than anyone else. But if Baker has more control over this team than most assume as you say Sage, and you believe that extends all the way to the ownership group? Well if Baker is the kind of player and man I think he is and if the ownership group told Baker after a less than perfect season that they were considering bringing in Belidunce? I think he is absolutely loyal to Todd Bowles and would tell them thanks for the 3 good years here and no way would I be any part of an idiotic move like that. Like I say I don’t know what Baker would think more than anyone else but that’s what I’d like to think. Bowles said this week that he’s alot like Baker. Baker is alot like Bowles. Neither one is alot like Belidunce and Belidunce isn’t like either of them. Enough said about Belidunce, he’ll be remembered as one of the greatest coaches ever. And he has plenty on his mind now and only a jerk would kick a man when he’s down. Lee, I almost spit out a mouthful of beans when you said Panther fans have Stockholm syndrome. I won’t be able to watch us play them again without thinking about that.

I just got sucked into the Florio “clickbait” on my tablet’s feed.
Headline click grabber – “Buccanneers may cut ties with Todd Bowles for 8 time SB Champion”
The article is current so immediately thought it was about THIS YEAR!!! Mistake #1. The first sentence says Bowles has been a great coach for the Bucs but…yadda yadda…Mike Florio says..
The Buccanneers MAY have a path forward to replacing Bowles AFTER the ’25 season since Belichik has a buyout in his UNC deal for just one million. Chump change for BB at this point.
This makes me totally lose any respect for Florio. Not just the PREMATURE speculation as if the Bucs are planning this but his moronic CHOICE!!!
AGAIN – Bill Belichik is a freaking LOSING HC in the NFL without Tom Brady as his QB. We’re not just talking the 3 out of 4 LOSING seasons BB had to end his career WITHOUT Brady. I’m talking his whole EFFING CAREER!!!
He had ONE winning season out of Five in Cleveland!!! 36-44 .450 Win %
He goes to N.E. and his first year there without Brady he goes 5-11! Are we starting to see a pattern? Then he and his GENIUS personnel people get away with gambling FIVE rounds of the NFL draft before snagging the GOAT in the 6th. Of course that’s not just a black mark on BB the entire league whiffed on that one!!
So Tommy Boy leads BB to the promised land six times after being FORCED into the lineup when the starter ahead of him was injured.
Tommy Boy comes to Tampa and BB posts…wait for it…yep his NORMAL LOSING RECORD! He LOST 3 of the last 4 seasons of his “stellar” HC career.
Wrapping up…Bill Belichik’s NFL HC record without Tom Brady 70-93 .429!!!
Todd’s record even with the Jets tossed in 53-69 . 449 a higher % than BB!
Todd Bucs record ironically actually improves if you SUBTRACT the Brady year.
He’s 19-15 for .558.
Nobody is suggesting one year with Brady versus two without really mean anything positive or negative about Todd’s time here. Too small a database.
However BB’s 70-93 record without Brady and 2 winning seasons against 8 losing ones is clearly enough stats to render Mike Florio a buffoon and idiot for even concocting that click bait!!!
If Todd wins the Division…AGAIN…but is one and done in the playoffs I realize his contract will probably not get renewed. However a 74 year old LOSER who is now facing late life crisis with a 25 year old as his PR person and main squeeze is NOT thinking clearly. I say this as an old man myself! I recall when I was younger we would have referred to BB as letting his little head do the thinking for his big head if you get my drift!
SORRY FOR THE RANT I’M JUST TIRED OF THE BELICHIK BS!!!
I’m not a huge Brady fan but I absolutely respect the GOAT and him bringing another SB to Tampa. HE was the one that stirred that drink not loser BB.

It’s a big NO to Belichick. Let him stay where he is. So much drama we don’t need. Agreed, once Brady and others left the Patriots he lost. We won.
AB was a strong player too. He helped us get a Super Bowl.
