The addition of Nolan to this defense could be special and with our locker room there is no better place for him to learn to be a pro. This move will allow us to use Vea and Kancy on the edge on 3rd and long.

Thank you for the breakdown of the draft! The pick of Walter Nolen was surprising, but I totally support it. As Lee suggested, no one selected at no. 19 is going to be a full time starter anyway.

Loved the draft scenarios with the NFL music chime! Perfectly done.

Ira is clueless when it comes to the draft, guy just phones it in and is more concerned with the position the Bucs select versus knowing the actual players.
Be better Ira

[Joe witnessed Sean Sullivan at the combine for several days talking to players, coaches, NFL types as well as guys like Greg Cosell, Emory Hunt and Brian Baldinger not to mention a prominent NFL GM. Joe saw this with Joe’s own eyes. Meanwhile, “guy in mom’s basement” was… in mom’s basement. Nice try. — Joe]

Agree with the pick and the reason for it.
But would rather the Bucs trade back in the 1st

Absolutely loved Sean Sullivan’s analysis and the 🖼️ ck of Walter Nolen (with presumably another defensive tackle if Nolen is gone).
It just makes too much sense. Defensive tackle is the strength of this draft. Philadelphia just won a Super Bowl with a deep defensive tackle rotation. Via and cancey missed significant time during the past two years. Both of them played better when well rested.
Alternatives that pundits have selected for the box include Jihaad Campbell, who has a significant injury and who knows how that will turn out. Donovan Erausku, who perhaps would not spend any time on the playing field with Diaby, Reddick, Braswell and Nelson, all ahead of him and Starks or Barron if they fall but who did not represent great positional value for round one.
Excellent job Sean Sullivan, Steve, Lee and Ira. This is one I’m going to re-listen to several times as there was a lot of information packed into this podcast.
Thank you!!!

Joe, I listen to Sean’s draft breakdown and it is very enjoyable. I really appreciate his insights and I remember almost every year many instances of his best picks turning into stars. Isaiah Likely and others come to mind. I need to replay his corner and safety breakdown. Anyway Seans best in class is the best pod in regards to draft. Please keep featuring it. Now I will listen to your mock draft. I love this time of year! The holiest of football days.

I love this podcast. However. Justin Fields is not even remotely close to being an amazing quarterback. That is a ridiculous statement.
Take it easy over there Sullivan!

Good job!
I prefer a DT or maybe an edge. Campbell is risky.
I like the Nolen pick. Kancey was smart, Barton was solid.
Let’s keep the ball rolling.
In the past 25 years, the Bucs picking DT in round one has never been a mistake.

Filtering out all the negative comments eh Joe? Gotta protect the sponsor and muzzle the fans who actually listen to your show. This guy loses all credibility the moment he called Justin Fields an “amazing QB”. Can’t figure out why the Steelers let him go? Cause he’s a backup, not a starter.
