Geno Hayes Out Until Training Camp

February 11th, 2010

Sometimes-WQYK-AM 1010 host Tom Krasniqi is reporting via his Facebook account that Bucs linebacker Geno Hayes will be unable to participate in any OTA sessions or minicamps this offseason due to a torn labrum to one of his shoulders.

Krasniqi did not detail which shoulder Hayes injured but it happened in the Bucs’ final game against the Falcons.

Krasniqi is close to Hayes as he was the host of the short-lived Geno Hayes Show on WQYK last fall.

Hayes expects to be 100 percent by training camp.

UPDATE 4:52 p.m.: Krasniqi just messaged Joe via Facebook and explained Hayes’ shoulder in question is his right shoulder. He already had surgery on the shoulder and will “be good to go come June or July.”

IMO…..somehow he has hurt himself and the situation is real….
however I believe that unless the injury is on the record in the days following the last time we didn’t watch the end of a Buccaneer football game……his injury is extra curricular
