Enjoy A Threesome With Dirk Koetter

June 8th, 2016

KoetterCombine1One lucky Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan could emerge grinning from ear to ear after a fun evening at Phil Meador Toyota.

Yes, that Phil Meador Toyota, the one on Flandro Drive in Pocatello, Idaho.

Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter is a Pocatello native and a former quarterback for Idaho State University, which has about 15,000 students in Pocatello, a city of about 60,000 in middle-of-nowhere U.S.A.

On June 24 & 25, the Idaho State Football Alumni Team is hosting a charity golf weekend, and the grand prize being auctioned is a chance to play golf on the 25th with Koetter and Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis, who coached at Idaho State under Koetter’s father.

That’s one special threesome. What a rare opportunity! The auction will be held at the Toyota dealership on the 24th, per the Idaho State Journal. Yes, Joe considered attending and bidding, but the travel costs (two connecting flights and $1,000 roundtrip to Pocatello Regional Airport) brought Joe back to reality.

Joe sure hopes there’s a Bucs fan out there who pounces on this very special chance. Joe has a hunch Koetter enjoys a cold beer or two on the golf course and would be a quite a guy to talk football with all afternoon.

Sweet I live about two and a half hours from there.

Idaho is a bit remote, but a really beautiful state. Drove thru it once on my way from Seattle back to Florida and was really impressed by its natural beauty and seclusion. If you’re an outdoorsy type, it’s an awesome place.

  3. Clodhopper Says:

Id love to do that but they’d get sick of playing with me in a hurry. Plus they’d have to leave for Training Camp while I’m still on hole one swinging and missing at the tee all dam day.

  4. Jolly Bucs Fan Says:

Threesome with Koetter? if Jameis is the third than I am game

  5. unbelievable Says:

I prefer my threesomes to be of the FFM variety, personally.

Still sounds cool though, especially if you went to that school.
