October 18th, 2026
Game 6
Steelers at Bucs
Kickoff: 1 p.m.
TV: CBS (WTSP-TV Channel 10, locally) with Andrew Catalon, Logan Ryan and AJ Ross.
Streaming: Paramount+, NFL+. (Geographic restrictions may apply; subscription may be required).
Radio: Buccaneers Radio Network WXTB-FM 97.9 in the Tampa-St. Petersburg region with Tony Castricone, Dave Moore and Jay Recher. (Transmisiones de radio en español en WTMP-FM 96.1 y WMGG-AM 1470 en Tampa, con Santiago Gramática y Martin Gramática.). Additional stations throughout Florida carrying the game on the Buccaneers Radio Network can be found here. The game will also be broadcast on SiriusXM Channel 195 (Buccaneers Radio Network feed).
Weather: Fall has arrived in Tampa Bay this weekend, but is the arrival maybe three days too early for the Bucs? Drama queen Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is notorious for gagging in warm-weather games, especially in Tampa. But the kickoff temperature will be in the 70s. Not exactly hot, especially for us Floridians. That’s just about jacket weather. Per AccuWeather.com, tailgaters might need a jacket, with temperatures around 70. That will warm up to 77 at kickoff. Look for the temperature to push to 80 in the third quarter and begin to lower to 79 by the end of the game. All under partly cloudy skies. It is supposed to be breezy with a steady 13 mph wind out of the north-northeast so that might throw a curveball into KitKat-eating Bucs coach Todd Bowles’ favorite offensive weapon: The field goal.
Odds: Per Hard Rock Bet, as of midnight, Bucs +2.5 (-105); over/under 39.
Referees: Land Clark and his gang will work today’s game. Per Sharp Football Analysis, historically, Clark’s outfit oversees low-scoring games with the edge going to road teams.
Injuries:

Outlook: On one hand, “this Joe” really believes the Bucs can go on a run and win two or three of the four games. Then Joe looks at the standings and wonders how it is remotely logical for a 1-4 team to con itself it still has legit playoff aspirations. Ah, welcome to the NFC South landfill. But for the Bucs to get back in the thick of things — they’re only out of first place by one game in the win column; the Stinking Panthers lead l with a 2-2- mark. For the Bucs to do this, they must find a way to beat the mighty Steelers today. Joe would have to consume about half the lukewarm Miller Lite sold in The Licht House to twist how a team still in the running for a playoff berth has a 1-5 record. If the Bucs lose today, the Bucs would have to go 7-4 the rest of the way just to get to 8-9. Joe is not confident they can pull that off. The Joe typing here thinks the Bucs could pull off a win today. Drama queen Aaron Rodgers has never played well in Tampa. And he has it in his head that there are turf monsters that reside on the field that come after his feet whenever he plays here. Rodgers has a 2-3 record in Tampa and traditionally doesn’t excel in warm-weather cities. The only time the Packers offense scored more than 21 points with Rodgers barking signals was when Rodgers and Green Bay lost to Josh Freeman and the Bucs 38-28. To have hope for meaningful football in January, the Bucs must win. That’s all you need to know.

I had to listen to the second half of the game couple of weeks ago on the radio. Very weird not hearing gene deckeroff . I really don’t like this new radio guy. He was very boring to listen too.

Steelers don’t have cheerleaders. Good thing too. Have you seen the women in Pittsburgh? Yeesh!
