Optimistic bunch. Looking at the schedule, and Todd’s overall career record, 8, or 9 wins seems most likely.

  2. SB~LV šŸˆ Says:

I am a hopeless fan and couldn’t stop myself from voting
    11

  3. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I think this is the perfect time for this Poll…but I decline to vote…mainly because I want to remain objective.

Also, I truly hate that people discount the injuries and their effect last year (including the Bucs staff and players). I think the injuries were the root cause of everything. Everything that went wrong was a result of the injuries.

Lousy players were on the field because of the injuries, for example. Third strings lacked the drive to succeed…no surprise…but they were on the field because of injuries. Baker looked like a potential MVP, until his injuries started. The offensive line resorted to bad players why? Because of injuries.

I roll my eyes when people deny injuries played a role. It just isn’t true. And I don’t think it’s a weakness to acknowledge them.

Mike Evans probably could have had multiple 1500 yard seasons…if not for his injuries.

    Injuries matter.

  4. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Here’s a bit of irony…Jameis Winston could possibly become the starter for the Giants at some point this year.

Could he have a Dilfer-like situation and win a ring there? Probably not, but nothing is out of the realm of possibility, I suppose.

  5. Stallworth Says:

Like a broken record but with our roster in this pathetic division we should be a 13 win team. But Todd will hold us back to 8 wins or less.

  6. Kenton Smith Says:

Buccaneer Bonzai, Winston is a better QB than Jackson Dart is. The Giants have a major weakness. They don’t have the right QB. They’ll be in the Baker sweepstakes here in about 6 months.

  7. LouisFriend Says:

The Bucs haven’t done enough to be much more than average this season. It’s just where they are as a franchise. Not bad, not great – just average. Any prediction from 7 to 10 wins has merit depending on how the season plays out.

Team stays healthy – 10 wins
Injury riddled again – 7 wins

A middle of the road team – the most infuriating kind of team there is.

  8. Lefty_R Says:

    There should be another choice…..TBD

    To Be Determined!!!

  9. Todd Says:

I voted 10 wins. I’m optimistic, not drunk.

Ten wins. Eleven requires faith. Twelve requires tequila.

I went with 10 because ā€œNFC South champions with emotional damageā€ wasn’t an option.

  10. MadMax Says:

    9-10, voted 10

  11. ā€˜74 Bucs Fan Says:

9 wins but considered 10. I believe our defense will be much improved (no where to go but up) but am concerned about our offense since I haven’t seen it.

  12. Bucsfan951 Says:

It was between 7-8 wins for me. Because of Todd B, I went with 7 wins. I have zero faith in him as a head coach.

    Hope I’m wrong.

  13. Cometowin2 Says:

10 wins. Baker balls out. The defense is better but pass defense is still the weak link.

  14. Lakeland Says:

    12-5

    This is the bare minimum

  15. JustOneGame Says:

    Mayfield 67-74
    Bowles 62-77
    Licht 99-108

I chose 9 wins, going against what history tells us. In this division, this team should win 11 games minimum. Hopefully the team stays healthy so we can actually evaluate them without excuses.

  16. Tye Says:

All I see is a lot of pewter color glasses being used …..
Logic and reality says they should get to 7 wins but anything more will rely heavily on the misfortunes of their opponents to do better….

Many experts are predicting Bucs win the south and get bounced in wild card against much superior teams …. Others say it will be the saints…..

  17. Dadgumit Says:

Missed the poll. Wondering what were the possible choices 0 to 18?
