Both English and Spanish radio broadcasts of Bucs games can be accessed via the Bucs official app. Additional stations throughout Florida on the Buccaneers Radio Network can be found here. The game will also be broadcast on SiriusXM Channel 225 (Buccaneers Radio Network feed).

Weather: Good beer drinkin’ weather! It’s Florida and it’s August. So ice up, son! Pack the beers, sunscreen and rain ponchos. Tailgating starts under sunny skies in the low 90s. That will soon change. By 5 p.n., here come the thunderstorms. By the time you get into The Licht House, rain chances will be 36 percent, per AccuWeather.com. Temperature at kickoff should be 88 degrees with a slight wind out of the west-southwest. At halftime, it ought to be 83 and by the time the game is over with, 82 degrees.

Odds: Per Hard Rock Bet, as of midnight, Bucs -4.5 (-115); over/under  .

Outlook: Per KitKat-eating Bucs coach Todd Bowles, most starters will play tonight but a few dealing with injuries will not. Vita Vea is not expected to play any worthless preseason ball. Here is what Joe wants to see tonight: Rookie receiver Ted Hurst is really starting to tear up the Bucs defense. In practice. Joe would like to see that under the lights. Same with David Walker on defense. For the first couple of weeks of training camp, Walker lived in the Bucs’ backfield. Aside from one pass rush last week, the only way you knew he was on  the field was when Chucky and RondéBarber, later in the week, called him out for loafing (as did Joe on gameday). Also tonight, Bucs fans should get their first sighting of first-round pick Rueben Bain. Dude is a beast. But remember who Bain is playing for; so many players in the front-seven are lassoed by their defensive coordinator. So if you don’t see Bain destroy anyone, remember that. On defense, Joe is going to be laser-focused on the cornerbacks. That position for the Bucs is damn near criminally thin. Can anyone step up? Can Benjamin Morrison play an entire series and not fall apart? There is only one position on the Bucs’ roster that keeps Joe up at night, and that’s corner.

Can’t wait to hear what Jeff Dubrof has to say.

  2. Jimmy Says:

Which is dumber: The stat geek who told Kevin Cash to pull Blake Snell in the World Series or the jackass who benched Aileen? Maybe it’s the same moron.

Promise you eight out of 10 Bucs fans would rather gawk at a hot brunette. The other two are probably the Bucs’ dude cheerleaders.

Replacing Aileen is so dumb, WFLA ought to have its license revoked. Talk about pissing in Bucs’ fans faces!

  3. Fire the pellet gun Says:

Take the Bucs week 1 and the points.
Too many people throwing in the towel and filled with doom about the season.

Then use some of the proceeds to take your significant other out on a lovely date night.

  4. JA Says:

    Agree with 87’.
Tonight is Jeff Dubrof’s chance to shine!
Bet he’s psyched! In an attempt to get a word in edgewise over the domineering Gruden, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Dubrof shows up with a roll of duct tape to place in its entirety around Chucky’s mouth.
What’s the over/under on how often Chucky says “man” tonight?
    Does superglue work on lips?
    Go Jeff!
In all honesty, I didn’t mind Gruden as a color guy. He was into it and a little over the top, but that’s his schtick. Not bad.

  5. Todd Says:

Care not about game-just no injuries please.

  6. Jmarkbuc Says:

Anybody listen to radio broadcast last week? Wonder how the new guy did…

  7. BiggestBucsFan Says:

It’s time to rock and roll. Chiefs! Beat their butts and then the respect will come.

  8. SB~LV 🏈 Says:

Pat MacAfee and his crew were talking about the future of NFL preseason games and it seems that they were talking about something like two teams playing something similar to tag football. Full speed but not tackling to the ground.

  9. Hodad Says:

I’m interested to see who starts at MLB. I hope it’s Trotter. It’ll tell me a lot about Bowles if it’s not. Let’s see the Bain, Trotter era begin. From the buzz coming out of camp, sounds like Trotter has earned it.

  10. BiggestBucsFan Says:

Bowles knows who to play where, and when. You can see them getting there every game, a little better even if the result isn’t always what fans want.

  11. Allen Lofton Says:

When Morrison was drafted he was recovering from injuries. I’m not sure if those injuries are still lingering. He’s had the off season to recover from his injuries 2 years ago 😪. What are the trainers accomplishing. Someone screwed up by falling in love with the none injured Morrison and failed to do due diligence on his injured status.

We complained about Davis and Dean’s annual injuries and traded them off to get Morrison. Someone in the front office screwed up and now the Bucs may be facing a possible corner back crisis for the 3026 season. That’s a black eye 👁 for the Bucs front office.

  12. buc4evr Says:

Dump Jeff and replace with Aileen. Just hope the starters can get their reps in tonight with no injuries.

  13. CosmoKramer Says:

I’ll have to watch it on a replay unfortunately. My region isn’t local to Tampa.

But it’s just a worthless preseason game. Chucky and Rondé are the draw.

Looking forward to the real season in a few weeks. All the hype comes to a crashing halt.

Every game is one step closer to watching Bowles leave in shame.

  14. 3rd and 28 Says:

I’m an addition by subtraction guy. The Bucs got rid of Dean, so their secondary must be better this year! How can it not?
