Split Decisions On Bucs Lean Positive

July 12th, 2026

Optimism is flowing but the water pressure isn’t good.

Joe was intrigued to see the 2026 Buccaneers predictions by the NFL.com team. Four place the Bucs as winners and three log them as back-to-back losers.

Given how sportsbook oddsmakers have the Bucs as the favorite to win the NFC South landfill, Joe expected pundits mostly to follow in lockstep. It’s gone that way early in prediction season, but not by much.

At this point, Joe is much less interested in a season prediction than whether Todd Bowles can extend his four-year streak of starting a season 2-0. Still, among the three key figures at JoeBucsFan.com world headquarters, two currently have the Bucs finishing with a 9-8 record and one has the Bucs limping to 7-10.

Brooke Cersosimo? 7-10. Talk about no clue. Must be walking around in an alcohol induced brain fog.

The Hard Rock app has them set at 8.5 wins….I’m pounding the over!$ this team will finish ……..10-7 and will cash that tix. Also Bet on over for Bakers stats, this dude will ball out with a healthy O-line and a competent O.C., just like he did under Coen! And if the defense is improved like we all think with free agents and draft picks, they might god willing get some more picks, leading to short fields. With Evans backing the wrong horse in ole Purdy, and Baker facing his old team in Browns, the coach who cut him twice a year in the Falcons, and wanting to cash in with a huge contract, look out! He is the type of person who plays better with a chip on his shoulder

Kenton, none of them have a clue, truth be known. But it is likely one of them will be the blind squirt that finds the nut.

  4. Drunk Bucs Fan Says:

It’s funny that none of them have what I think to be the one right now, that being 10-7. But hey, they’re still on pre-camp vacation. Locked in prediction is a month or so away

Bucky Brooks is closest to our eventual record. That is, as long as we do much better with less injuries this year. We got rid of several players that were constantly injured, so that’s a start. I’m hoping Morrison heals up and soon. He really needs a full training camp.

  6. ‘74 Bucs Fan Says:

Is 9-8 good enough to keep Bowles another year? I certainly hope not if we are relatively healthy. 10-7 or better and at least round 2 of the playoffs or it is time to move on.

I’ve been here all my life and have seen every season – so I get a winning season is good, but let’s not remain stuck with 500 ball. We can do better and should expect better every year.

10-7. Let’s do it! Team pom pom – which is better than team cry-all-day.

  7. ModHairKen Says:

I’ll just predict 17-0. Because that makes as much sense as these schlocks that post ridiculous predictions.

  8. Beeej Says:

We have nearly the exact same personnel that was the third best offense in the NFL just 2 years ago. Our defense is light years better, at least on paper. There is no reason for us to be finishing with seven or eight wins

  9. 3.28.Evans Says:

    3-14

    Mike
    Rachaad
    Jamel
    Christian
    Logan

    They all know.

Notice how the Pom Pom squad always have to qualify their over the top Polly positive lemming speak with the injury excuse already built in.

That way when the ever expanding human KitKat bar falls on his face again they can paper over it and repeat the same talking points next summer.

The only thing that’s over exceeding expectations is Toad Bowels waist line.

He’s the world champion of being fat, slow, and stupid.

  11. Ex-Browns02 Says:

    Kidfloflo: Great bets brother!

I’m sticking with 11-7. Proud to be a pom pom!

    Go Bucs!!

    Negativity I love it!
