Baker Mayfield says trash talking keeps him amped.

The following is a brief summary of some scenes from the Netflix series “Quarterback,” a “Hard Knocks”-like look at NFL quarterbacks. Cameras tail them on and off the field. Joe Flacco, Cam Ward, Jayden Daniels and Mayfield are featured this summer.

* Mayfield believes trash talking keeps him hyped and on edge. “I do think I play better when there is trash talk. Gives me an edge. Gets me going.”

* In a joint practice with the Titans — why can’t the NFL refer to the Titans with a first-syllable abbreviation like “Bucs” or “Jags?” — Mayfield even chirps at a Titans defender. “Just because he wants to play doesn’t mean you can talk. Shut the f@ck up.”

After another play, there was chatter between Mayfield and a Titans assistant coach as Mayfield walks off the field. The Tennessee assistant said, “I’m good with it.” Mayfield responded, “You’re good with it? You’re good with them getting beat over the top in man coverage?”

* On the win in Seattle, Mayfield said, “On certain game days, you can feel you are going to be dialed in. I could really feel it in Seattle.”

The win in Seattle may have been Mayfield’s best game. The Bucs need a lot more of those feels this fall.

* After Seattle’s Ernest Jones stopped Rachaad White short of the goal line on a run up the middle, Mayfield told him, “Hey Ernest, that was a good hit, bro. But guess what? We’re about to shove it up your @ss now.” Next play, White takes a pitch from Mayfield and scores.

* After a bomb to Emeka Egbuka over the middle to get the Bucs within the Seattle-5, and a subsequent touchdown, Mayfield said on the bench, “If I can throw it farther, it would be a touchdown. That’s on me. I need to work out more.”

* After the win, Mayfield sprinted off the field heading straight for the kid in the stands who trashed him before the game. Mayfield proceeded to remind him who won.
