Me and old Junebug’s favorite podcast. Of course it is 5 star quality. And repetitive is a word that describes Lee. Stubborn as a mule is a 4 word sentence that might describe Lee. That’s okay though, at least he isn’t full of mule shlt like Cowherd and some others. I might add he’s (along with the Sage) not the best evaluator of QB talent. Mayfield did the best job that could be done with the OLine and receivers being out last year. Even though the receivers started getting back late, they didn’t have the continuity to get the job done and then Bredeson missed the last 4. Nightmare scenario, really. But don’t be down on Baker. Glad to hear Gainwell and this new tight end are balling and this revamped defense is showing some juice. And Ira’s favorite new special teams coach is who he is. We’ve got a chance to be really good this year. JL knows this team has been on an ascent since Brady walked out the door. I know it, too. One year with the most injuries I’ve ever seen befall an offense and we’re 3 games short of ascension. How about if we win 12 this year we will be ascending again, Sage? I’ll take that bet. You two can bet on the bottom falling out and us drafting one of those stud QBs that’ll be falling from the sky next draft when this team gets a top 10 pick. That ain’t happening, though. And I’m pretty sure you guys know that. Anyway, great job on the OTAs coverage and the Licht interview. Enjoy the show every time.

Keep these Ira commentary coming …. They are top she’d !

One Joe thinks that regardless of what Baker does this season they’ve found their QB. If that was the case, then he’d have a new contract right? My God, the expectations are so low with the Bucs that barely winning the worst division in football is good enough. No need for deep playoff runs, almost making it is great. Sad. I miss the days of Arians and Brady having high standards and expectations and getting winning results.

  4. DailyRich Says:

Baker’s got a new kid, is learning a new offense, and maybe realized participating in the Netflix Quarterback show might have affected his performance last year. So I’m good with him not having spoken to the media yet.

  5. LynchMob50 Says:

Agree 100% Bee. Winning a title is no longer what drives the organization as a whole.

After falling flat on their collective faces in the 2024 playoffs, versus a rookie QB in his first postseason start, and the defense forcing zero punts, then missing the playoffs entirely in a division with zero winning records in 2025, they stuck with the guru HC\DC.

That is a galactically stupid decision after the results provided in four years.

Word is the UDFA TE Kenny Fletcher is something special… anybody watching this kid
