“I Think Everybody Has A Good Day”

Todd Bowles will not relent.
The Buccaneers head coach will not back off his disinterest in singling out players for having a good practice.
After yesterday’s OTA practice at One Buc Palace, Bowles was asked about Chris Godwin having a strong day and more. He flashed and smile and gave his 2026 line, “I think everybody has a good day in t-shirts and shorts.”
Ironically, after practice, coaches and front office types gather to dissect film of the flag football sessions and grade players and praise and criticize them. Everybody does not have a good day.
Joe has noted that Bowles was slightly more forthcoming in past years. This year’s, nobody’s-earned-crap approaches is calculated and Joe kind of likes it.

Too much coddling made them soft as cotton mentally and physically last year….lets hope all the new changes translates to wins

I honestly don’t want to hear a word out of Incredibly Average Todd Bowles (.515 as head coach of the Bucs) until/unless he stops being the definition of mediocre.

It still knags at me as a Buc fan that Todd is still the coach despite all the reasons for him to have been fired with the rest of the staff. The only silver lining is that hopefully the Bucs have shored up the Defense on this team with all the new faces and we no longer will be known as having a ‘Putrid Pass Defense” and hopefully will be able to get off the field on 3rd downs for a change. Let’s get “Born Again” Baker signed long-term and let’s get this year started. Go BUCS!!

It’s a head scratcher that one team can fire you for being a bad coach but another team hirethe bad coach hoping his a good coach. Kind of boggles the mind.
