Mike Biehl: Bucs Executive, Office Vandal

May 8th, 2026

Rough with work equipment.

Joe wonders if Team Glazer will have a special deduction from the next paycheck Bucs vice president of personnel Mike Biehl tries to cash?

Appearing on “Up and Adams” yesterday, hosted by NFL heartthrob Kay Adams and seen on FanDuel TV, Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht once again set the scene in the Bucs’ war room on Day 1 of the draft. That’s when the Bucs watched Rueben Bain slide, slide, slide down the draft board until the whole staff couldn’t believe its luck and quickly selected him.

After Bain got past No. 10, people’s heartbeats in the Bucs’ war room kept getting louder and louder.ย And, voila! There was Bain still on the board where the Bucs picked at No. 15.

Licht confessed to waiting a moment just in case he got an offer he couldn’t refuse from another team. But that patience was quickly evaporated.

However, it was Biehl who was in charge of “sending in the card.” Only in the year 2026, that’s all done digitally.

Apparently, per Licht, Biehl was so excited, he damaged the keyboard used to send the pick in.

“I think we broke, I had Mike Biehl turn in our picks, and I think he may have broke the keyboard,” Licht said as he mimicked someone punching a keyboard like the hard drive just died and a full day of work went poof.

Joe doesn’t know what HR people at One Buc Palace would say about an employee slamming office equipment but Joe does know Team Glazer was in the war room that night.

Joe wonders if Biehl got poked in the chest by someone who cuts checks at One Buc Palace for that stunt?

  1. Lakeland Says:

They took too long in the 1982 draft in the 2nd round
And the Chicago Bears jumped them
Then they traded their 1983 1st round pick to Chicago, to get the pick back
Which was Booker Reese from Bethune -Cookman, a complete bust

I think that started our long playoff drought

  2. Lakeland Says:

I think Ken Herock sent the equipment manager to the draft
And when Herock phoned in the pick, they had a misunderstanding
The equipment manager thought he said Sean Farrell, and that’s who he picked
    But Herock wanted Booker Reese
So he traded our 1983 1st round to the Bears and drafted Booker in the second round

He didn’t say the guy did break the keyboard. Licht said “he may have broke the keyboard”.

It was more of a joke based on how hard the guy hit the keys.

Just as I assume Joe is joking about the guy getting in trouble.

(Disclaimer: I literally just woke up, and don’t know why I feel the need to point this out, lol)

Rookie Camp today, should be a bunch of news over the next few days

    Sending in the โ€œcardโ€
    ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
Minnesota Vikings not getting the card in when the clock expired and getting front run by one team and maybe 2 .
I donโ€™t remember if it was two but that was GREAT draft day drama along with Mike Ditka giving up all his draft picks to get โ€ฆ
Ditka traded all of the Saintsโ€™ 1999 draft picks plus a 2000 first-round and third-round pick to Washington so the Saints could move up to the 5th overall pick in the draft.
Ricky Williams โ€ฆ those were the days my friend!

When I was watching the draft live, the Bucs pick came quickly, like a premature EJ. I don’t blame them! I give Licht kudos for holding back, just in case an incredible trade came in, but it was inevitable that Bain and the Bucs would come together for an incredible partnership. Bain will be fire that lights the Bucs’ candle this year with an incredible Super Bowl run!

Ask Kay Adams’ boyfriend what it’s like. Maybe we will feel half as good this year!

Yeah. A keyboard is a BIG problem. May have to cut a player to cover that. Canโ€™t afford big enough dumbbells for Goedeke either.

And apparently, they used an off brand Lysol to kill MRSA.

Do they have coin operated vending machines still?

  12. HC Grover Says:

This is a lost year….Bucs lose division but come close to 8 wins.

This will cut deeply into the Kit-Kat budget. Wake Bowles up from his nap.

Maybe his pal BA can pick him up in the golf cart and they can tool on down to the local Publix to but them out of Todd’s favorite treat.

Only thing expanding quicker than the losses is Bowles waste line.

The Glazers should supply him with a motorized cart to ride around on the sidelines.

Emotionless cigar store Indian on wheels!!!!
