Annual Mock Draft From Draft Guru Sean Sullivan

April 23rd, 2026

So last year, JoeBucsFan.com draft guru Sean Sullivan made his first trip with Joe to the NFL Scouting Combine and talked to all kinds of prospects, coaches, front office types and analysts.

The net result was Sullivan hitting a stunning 11 picks in his 2025 mock draft.

It was all delivered via the Ira Kaufman Podcast, where Sullivan shares his lone mock annually.

Sullvan also breaks down draft prospects via his Best In Class podcast. Both podcasts are presented by Bill Currie Ford.

Yes, Joe can say Sullivan is on a run that puts him among the best mock drafters in the nation. His 2026 mock revealed this week on the Ira Kaufman Podcast.

For those who didn’t soak it all in, Joe’s got the raw mock for you below. Sullivan’s mock is strictly about who he believes teams will take based on his film study. Off-the-field considerations are not factored in. Good luck, Sean!

    Interesting.
I see Ioane higher and Faulk lower.

  2. 3.28.Evans Says:

    Pretty cool Sean.

  3. SB~LV šŸˆ Says:

I had an epiphany as I was falling asleep last night after posting that for the first time in memory I didn’t have a strong opinion on who to draft.
There are good reasons for this pick considering that BIG MONEY is going to be QB position as this pick will be blocking for Baker for 5 years.
Also there are no offensive edge rusher picks available at 15
    Olaivavega Ioane — OG @15

  4. Todd Says:

    Legend!

  5. Fanofdabucs Says:

Did he hit on Emeka last year?

The more I see Mesidor, the less likely I think it happens.

Hard to pinpoint what JL does in the draft.

  6. HeavyE Says:

I would like to have McCoy or Faulk, if Sadiq isn’t there. Just my opinion….

  7. DoooshLaRue Says:

That pic of Roger and Softie93 is hellagay.
That’s why Rod Munch has it proudly hanging in his bathroom.

  8. Ha-Ha-Ha Says:

Michael Trigg was a highly-touted high school recruit who bounced around from USC to Ole Miss, and finally to Baylor, where he at last caught on in 2024 and 2025. Across the 2025 season, Trigg racked up 50 catches for 694 yards and six touchdowns — all career-highs. At 6’3″, 250 pounds, with over 34″ arms and 11′ hands, Trigg has a spidery frame built for snatching high-difficulty receptions, and he’s made a habit of producing acrobatic and one-handed grabs with the Bears.

He doesn’t provide much at all as a blocking presence, and that’ll be an area for improvement in the NFL if he doesn’t want to be limited by formation — but he’s undoubtedly a dynamic receiving threat with seam and red-zone utility.
The are tight ends available in later rounds.
    From PFF draft mocker.
Oscar Delp isn’t the same caliber of prospect that Brock Bowers was for Georgia two cycles ago, but Delp nevertheless has tantalizing athletic upside and early-round appeal in the coming 2026 NFL Draft. Standing around 6’5″, 245 pounds, Delp caught 21 passes for 248 yards and 4 TDs in 2024, then added a career-high 261 yards in 2025. The production doesn’t excite, but Delp remained a steady presence in spite of the Bulldogs’ up-and-down passing game.

Through the air, he’s showcased his explosive RAC element, ability to stem and decelerate on quick curls, and find soft spots in zone coverage. In addition to his serviceable receiving utility, Delp is a truly elite two-phase blocking TE who can operate in-line, on the move as a puller and lead blocker, and protect the QB on passing downs. He’s a schematic cheat code with supercharged athleticism to mold, and in short order, he could be an impact two-phase starter.

    Heavy:

What do you like about Faulk? What position do you think he plays in Bowles defense?

To me he’s a tweeter. Mich like Logan Hall in that he’s not really an edge and not really stout enough to play inside.

  10. Lakeland Says:

I’m especially high on 3 players, he has going in the 1st round.

    CB Chris Johnson
    OLB Malachi Lawrence
    OLB TJ Parker

  11. LessisMore Says:

Joe(s), please correct Pat McAfee – because Sean Sullivan rocks and I do believe he beat everyone else with his picks last year.

  12. 3.28.Evans Says:

Trade down until you have 14 selections in rounds 5-7. That’s half way to a statistically significant sample size, where sheer luck might bring about a player who can play despite TB’s regressive coaching techniques.

  13. BigZ Says:

Faulk or Mccoy will make me puke!

    Love is going to Zona..

  14. BigZ Says:

Abd James Pearce is back, he entered PTI. No bueno, but he will get the RG suspension.

  15. Ballwasher61 Says:

And how about we just don’t draft or trade anybody and stay where we are so we can cry in our pants and boo hoo with the rest of the trolls in JBF land or anywhere else you girls run around in your diapers all day long? Quiet now: grown ups talking here.

  16. Cho Says:

I don’t think Messidor is the Buc’s pick.

    1. Historically the Bucs (thankfully) don’t draft older players in round 1. If i’m not wrong, Messidor will be 26 by the start of the season.
    2. The Bucs almost never draft the player all the mocks say they’ll draft. I think it has to do with mock draft manipulation, and I think all the Mocks saying Messidor is basically Licht trying to bait teams to trade up.
    3. The Bucs don’t usually draft injury prone players in round 1.

I think Messidor is pretty good, but his age is a MAJOR red flag for me. Major. Injuries, lack of athleticism and lack of long term production also turn me off.

If it was me, trade back (way back) and find a way to get both Cassius Howell and Jacob Rodriguez.

  17. PSL Bob Says:

Joe, you forgot to mention that Sean’s picks do not factor in any trades. He said that obviously messes up his predictions. He may get the player in the right slot but the player is selected by a team that traded up or down rather than the team that was supposed to draft at that spot. That messes up at least two of his picks, and probably more.

  18. Badbucs Says:

7 OTs in round one? Hard to believe that. Works for us though. Push as many defensive players down the board as possible. We need to trade back at least once. Desperate for ILB, CB, DT, and edge. We won’t get enough of them all.

  19. DrunkInYbor Says:

I think if that freak athlete TE is there we get him. Then its an all defensive draft.

  20. Eckwood Says:

Nice Work Sean !! looks solid !!
Do Jets go more plug and play or potential
, in the end it’s a crap shoot but i think they go safe /Bailey

  21. Lakeland Says:

The Philadelphia Eagles just recently traded for Dontayvion Wicks
And they signed him to a one year extension
They are still shopping AJ Brown for the right price
And they are in desperate need for a RT

But this mock has them drafting Wr Omar Cooper
And passing on OT Monroe Freeling

That’s interesting, considering the Eagles has WRs

    Devonta Smith
    AJ Brown
    Dontayvion Wicks

And they are not a passing team

  22. Bejeezusbelt Says:

Joe thanks for putting this in print. I love Sean’s side job, I wish it was all in print the positional break downs would be awesome printed as I think it would be great to follow along. Thanks guys for all the great work you do.

  23. Dan the Bucs Fan Says:

Mesador makes sense. Most mocks drafts have us taking him. These guys talk share info I think it might be Mesodor

  24. Cornelius Says:

I’m interested to see where CJ Allen goes. I haven’t heard much noise connecting us to him but could see us trading back and taking him or Rodriguez in R1 if we aren’t going the Mesidor/Sadiq route.

He ran a 4.47 at his pro day and I thought based on film was everyone’s favorite ILB besides Sonny Styles, but a lot of people seem to like Rodriguez more now.

  25. LynchMob50 Says:

Sean gets it. He’s dealing in reality.

    Defense. Defense. Defense.

Give Bowles so many great players on that side of the ball that he is truly exposed for the fraud he’s always been.

This is his last time to paper over his endless mental errors.

Great players make inferior coaches seem great. Just see Tom Brady.

  26. OLDSCHOOL1976 Says:

What if the Eagles want to move up to 15? Maybe some deal involving AJ Brown and Chris Godwin? I’d have to consider that as AJ, McMillan and Egbuka would be impressive starting trio. Eliminates that need for an X wr… and still draft LB or Edge lower in the first round

  27. JimBobBuc Says:

    Sean is the man!

I really liked Jermod McCoy since his pro day was so good. The news about a second surgery kicked me in the groin. I wonder if the second surgery story is a red herring to reduce interest in him?

  28. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

“He ran a 4.47 at his pro day and I thought based on film was everyone’s favorite ILB besides Sonny Styles, but a lot of people seem to like Rodriguez more now.”

We couldn’t go wrong picking either of the 3, but to be honest this ILB class is getting talked up nearly enough imo which can be seen as “bad”, but I think it’s a good thing.

To be honest, I wouldn’t be upset with Deonte Lawson day 2 and I’ve got about 3 guys that have day 3 projections I wouldn’t be upset bringing in to compete. One might go undrafted because he’s 25, but to hell if he isn’t talented.

“7 OTs in round one? Hard to believe that.”

8 went in the first round of the ’24 draft

  29. Steven007 Says:

Cho, I’m inclined to agree with your conjecture. You’re right, sell them is the player that’s mocked Their pic. Will be interesting to see.

  30. gotbbucs Says:

This is the first year in a long time that I really dont have much of an opinion on who they draft, just so it isnt a TE.

The retention of Bowles has brought me back to the lost decade attitude of no matter who they pick, especially on defense, I feel like this coaching staff will be clueless on how to use them. I feel bad for any defensive player that gets picked to play for this clown show.
