Solid podcast. Really enjoyed the draft analysis.
Not surprised in the least that Sean recommended multiple players who turned out to be studs, but Licht was the smartest guy in the room and went the other way.
I’d hire Sean as the new GM today.

SLEEPER
Danni Dennis-Sutton, Edge, Penn State
6’6, 256, 4.6
When PSU played Oregon, he was THE FOCUS for Oregon to stop. He’s a huge problem. He’s super competitive. Plays like a mad dog.

Just draft one in each round

Mesidor is the only player I have eyes for for the Bucs in round 1. He and Bain are both so clean. No fat on their games- no wasted steps, no lost gaps. Reese on the other hand has never forced a single turnover. It’s a good draft for edge rushers but a historically weak one overall.
Dennis-Sutton is has produced for years and is good against the run but his lack of bend and the tools to be effective in coverage have him knocked back. Malachi Lawrence is another player available in the same range who has the production, tools, and size but he has a career 22% missed tackle rate like Caleb Banks. Both Lawrence and Banks are exciting at first but then you see guys just bounce off and around them.
The picks in this draft are as tradeable as can be. Just sayin’
