Bucs Are Back To Being Ignored

February 5th, 2026

No Bucs buzz.

Remember last year? So many Bucs fans, even as high up as Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht, wondered why every half-ass team and two-bit player in the league got run but the Bucs were virtually ignored?

This even got to Conor Orr of SI.com and Kay Adams of FanDuel TV. The two agreed and started to give the Bucs some extra love.

Then, prickly Pete Prisco freaked out his CBS colleague and predicted the Bucs to have the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs.

So what did the Bucs do in the 2026 season as a result of more attention in the spring and summer? Shat all over themselves.

Joe remembered back in December thinking, ‘Boy, if the Bucs whined about little attention before, they’re going to have a reason to get irked this coming offseason. An unpopular coach on a bad team is not good for buzz.’

There has been no buzz about the Bucs seeping from San Francisco this week, where the NFL world has descended upon to celebrate Super Bowl Week.

Have you heard any Bucs players on any of the dozens of radio shows and podcasts based in San Francisco this week? Have you heard any show discuss the Bucs? Joe hasn’t after long hours of listening.

Aside from Lavonte David doing a few hits from his Miami home, including on Kay Adams’ show, there is zero buzz about the Bucs. ZEE-row.

Whatever street cred the Bucs built with national media types prior to the bye of 2025 has all been burned to ashes, it seems.

Joe even read a statgeek’s Substack Wednesday night, where the guy typed he wasn’t sure if the Bucs can overcome their first big mistake of the 2026 season: No one at One Buc Palace could inspire change at head coach.

(The statgeeks are not fond of Bucs coach Todd Bowles.)

It’s going to be that kind of offseason, Joe fears. But things will pick up two weeks from Monday when the combine begins.

Here is another example of how far off the Bucs have fallen. Gilberto Manzano of SI.com typed up his projection of the Top-100 NFL Players for 2026. Manzano has but two Bucs players on his list and none in the top-70.

There’s just no buzz for this team right now.

Joe … ‘There’s just no buzz for this team right now.’

Nor should there be. When a team loses 7 of their last 9 in a season to drop from contender to irrelevant, the only buzz they should expect is the buzz of buzzards looking to make a meal on the carcass.

  2. Defense Rules Says:

And BTW Joe, in your photo above, Jason Licht looks very much like Tom Moore in his coach’s photo. Obviously 2025 didn’t give Jason much to smile about.

  3. Cleanhouse Says:

    Its because we suck

  4. Bowles Wasn't Held Accountable Says:

The Bucs kept one of the worst Head Coaches in the NFL. What do you expect?

  5. Bucs3 Says:

What would any media person talk about ??

    Hurt QB

    Defense was awful

Lost the South which is a Joke

Most important the Bucs Kept Bowles
No one will say it but Woke Doesn’t get it
    Winning Does

NO OTHER NFL TEAM WOULD HAVE KEPT BOWLES PERIOD

  6. MelvinJunior Says:

Has anyone else taken a look at, or been keeping an eye on the MLB Top 100 Prospects List over the last year-plus!? Well, it just keeps getting much worse. As the stadium saga continues on. It’s desperation time. This farm system SUCKS. Wander really screwed us over a good one. Last weekend at RayJay was by far THE MOST exciting regular season hockey game I’ve ever seen!!!! GO LIGHTNING.

  7. Kenton Smith Says:

In the NFL you can go from Hero to Zero in a heartbeat. The good news is you can go from Zero to Hero in the same amount of time. A healthy offense and an experienced play caller might just tip the scales. You reckon? I sure do.

  8. doolnutts Says:

I am such a big Licht supported but keeping Bowles will lilkely cost him

  9. Scotty Mack Says:

Are there any Bucs even in San Francisco right now? Can’t interview people wo aren’t there.

  10. Tom Edrington Says:

Anyone out there looking forward to another Todd Bowles interview??? Dude speaks with his teeth clenched in that Bowles mono-tone……yes, the Bucs are very “Ignor-worthy” —

  11. BucU Says:

“It’s going to be that kind of offseason, Joe fears. But things will pick up two weeks from Monday when the combine begins.”

Trust your fears Joe. It is going to be that kind of offseason. The Bucs ownership and management are hoping time and different offseason events will calm the rabid fanhood but that’s not going to happen. We watched over 2 months of the worst football this team has produced in years. We watched the great collapse of 2025 where they lost to 2nd AND 3rd string QB’s in the most critical games of the year. When questioned about why they can’t break out of their slump Bowles says….
As coaches we’ve done all we can do. That line ALONE should of gotten this guy fired. Bowles with help from Licht has made this franchise a laughingstock again. Until this team gets serious about trying to win the Glazers/Licht and Bowles will have a target on their backs. AS THEY SHOULD.

  12. JA Says:

A few years back, my company sent me to, of all places, Buffalo for a two year stint. It was go or seek other work, so I reluctantly went. After all, who wants to live in Buffalo? They don’t have beaches and our warm weather is replaced by tons of snow. And then I learned they have something we don’t, a unified, diehard fan base. I was impressed. Even my trips to the grocery store became a thing of beauty after spying half the women donned in Bills, Sabres and even Buffalo Bisons gear. Wanna talk business? Fine, but you gotta talk Bills first.
Here we get none of that. Here, you’re in the minority if you’re a Bucs fan as sports bars are filled with patrons wearing the jerseys of other teams. It sickens me because, despite our great weather, I know things around here could be different. If you don’t believe me, take in a Lightning game. Our hockey fan base is tight.
Why? Because they have ownership who wants to win the Stanley Cup every year.
The Bucs have ownership who rewards mediocrity across the board.
If Bowles were retained in Buffalo with an 8-9 record after four years of crap in a horrible division they’d have a thousand fans picketing the facility.
That’s not gonna happen here and the Glazers know it. They don’t care if the Bucs are “ignored.” They get rich either way. The Glazers are NOT SPORTS FANS!
In Buffalo a 12-5 record gets you fired. In Tampa an 8-9 record gets you another year of job security.
So yeah, the Bucs are now ignored and deserve it. And for the few of us who still care, it sucks!
Unless your goal is to have no goal, 2026 season is over before it starts. Great job Glazers!

  13. gotbbucs Says:

What’s there to talk about? We’ve got a turd that didnt get flushed as a head coach after a pathetic season in an amazingly weak division. Its not just the Bucs, there is literally nothing to talk about in the entire NFC South division. No super stars and no good teams.
Bowles loves to crow about winning the division three years in a row….he won essentially the weakest division in football with little better than a .500 record each time. Pat yourself on the back.

Apathy is what they get. It isnt going to change anytime soon. Our good players are just getting older and our young players arent getting any better.

  14. VOT Says:

Unfortunately it is completely justified. Lame duck coach, crazy tough slate of opponents upcoming- it’s going to take a miracle of Biblical proportions to have any semblance of a competitive team much less a winner….

  15. BucEmUp Says:

Can’t blame them. When a team knowingly keeps the weakest link in the chain around after realizing they extended him prematurely, kind of kills the buzz.

Thanks Brady, never would have happened without you.

  16. Bucnbeers Says:

About as much attention as a Walmart bathroom.

  17. Lessismore Says:

    JA – you’re not wrong.

  18. Megoat13 Says:

Make or break year imo. Unsuccessful 26-27 season good possibility leads to a full on rebuild. God I hope these boys can prevent that

  19. Megoat13 Says:

Could idk wtf my stupid phone would change could to good in that exact sentence

  20. Bucman Says:

The Glaziers must know something the majority of fans do not. Why else did they keep Bowles as h/c? Did they watch any of the last 9 games this season? I watched the 0-26 times and had more of a positive outlook coming than what is coming next year with Bowles. The players love him because he cuddles them rather than leading them

  21. Stpetematt Says:

2024 and 2025 were seasons marred by massive injuries to entire position groups- secondary and O-line, in order. Prior to those 2 seasons we were recovering from the salary cap hell of amassing a Super Bowl team. This season coming up is probably the last of a top shelf offense unless we sign Baker early. So we need to make a bunch of moves this off-season to put together a contender again. We can’t get swamped by injuries *every* season. Nobody has that had of luck. We have a very talented offense and some good pieces on defense that need an infusion of talent. With the right off-season moves and draft, we are capable of becoming a contender this coming season.

Let’s see how it shakes out.

  22. Stpetematt Says:

I wrote a big long comment and it disappeared, Joe.

  23. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

It’s super bowl week, and we are not in the super bowl. Sometimes not being talked about is a good thing. You see what happens once the media started patting us on the ssa, we started play like ssa.

  24. Bee Says:

But the media and fans say we have a star QB who’s in commercials, so the Bucs should be the talk of the town. Lol…why should anyone outside of the fans talk about this team? When the media shows this team love, especially before a prime time game, they go out and lose in front of the entire country. The Bucs are 2-9 in primetime with this HC and QB over the past 3 seasons and 5-12 for Bowles entire tenure as Bucs HC.

This team has not been good since losing in Detroit in the Divisional round. But hey, running it back with the same HC, a new OC and ST coach will certainly get this team over the hump.

  25. Beeej Says:

“Putrid NFC South”…. They had more wins than the putrid NFC East or the putrid AFC North!

  26. Obvious Says:

We earned it. As simple as that.

And besides having a great offense in ‘24 what exactly did we accomplish that season? 10 wins in the nfc south and a first round playoff exit, the peak of Todd Bowles ability. And we screwed that up by letting the guy responsible walk out the door.

And the stats geek guy is correct. It was a mistake.

If the franchise wants relevance and love nationally it’s up to the family that owns it to set the standard. Until then we should all get comfortable with hovering around .500.

Hopefully only 11 more months of this nonsense.

  27. Winny Testaverde Says:

The Lakeland Lichts have dimmed. It’s better to burn out than fade away as they say.

  28. Wayne perez Says:

#1 there is at least 20 teams no one is talking about also #2 we sucked last year always happens when we get a lot of love

  30. BuccaDAWG Says:

Joe, what do you want them to talk about? The gigantic choke job by out pirates last season? Keeping Bowles was a stupid front office move. But even though the Glaziers & the people at 1 Buc showed they don’t put winning as a priority we are rated real high in the Rooney Rule.

  31. BuccaDAWG Says:

  32. BagelBuc Says:

Last season’s collapse was so embarrassing it’s honestly malpractice to bring back Bowles. Yet here we are.

  33. Marine Buc Says:

I’m glad we can all finally face reality and lower our expectations in 2026.

This has been a mediocre to below mediocre team since TB12’s last season.

    Nothing wrong with lowered expectations.

Did anyone really expect Seattle (with Sam Darnold) and New England to make the Super Bowl this season?

Did anyone expect Jacksonville or Denver to win as much as they did?

Let’s reload. Give Bowles his one last season and get rid of a few of the old, injured and low producing, overpaid players and see what happens…

I don’t believe the Bucs are a bad team – I mean we beat the Seahawks, the 49ers and the Texans and dam near beat the Patriots as well.

Every game was pretty close except the Lions, Bills and Rams. I really don’t think we are that far off from being a solid team…

  34. Muscle Hampster Says:

Greatest presidential quote ever! He definitely wasn’t the brightest.

  36. BillyBucco Says:

I think the fear of a rebuild scares them.
    I know it does Licht.
If they get Raheem Morris or Sean McDermott next year there will be plenty of buzz.
I don’t think the Glazers thought there was a Rebuild worthy coach available.
    Let’s just see what happens.
We know people are gonna doubt this team but that hasn’t been a bad thing in years past.
When Mike and David make decisions there will be news.

  37. Josh Says:

The Bucs essentially shat their pants for the last 7 weeks of the season and then didn’t change pants…

  38. Tampa 3 Says:

JA – that was cool post about Buffalo vs the Bucs.

  39. Joe Says:

Are there any Bucs even in San Francisco right now?

Not sure about *now* but Antoine Winfield, Tristan Wirfs and Baker Mayfield were at the Pro Bowl which was held in the very same building that hosts the Super Bowl media center, where thousands of media types are.

  40. Joe Says:

Joe, what do you want them to talk about?

    FOOTBALL!

  41. 813bucboi Says:

there’s plenty of “buzz” around the BUCS!!!

problem is, its all being drowned out by laughter!!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!

  42. Ben Says:

When you have been King of crap hiill for the last 4 seasons and didnt make it to playoffs and no big changes were made at HC level, rightfully so. Prove us all wrong and go win 12 games this year in a crap division.

  43. Deeboooo Says:

Great news, this team doesn’t excel when in the limelight.

Maybe this will also chill out the fans on here who legit expected a Super Bowl with this roster

  44. Dadgumit Says:

This is what happens when coaches expirament in live settings. Replace a proven cover 2, or man to man with the 328 (3rd & 28) defence

  45. Pelsbuc61 Says:

Horrible coach + bad GM = sorry ass players especially on defense.

  46. Cardiac kidz Says:

    Rhetorical question.
Glazers decision to retain Bowles, has made us irrelevant for 2026.

Open the door for Mike Tomlin to come home in 2027.

  47. Canabuc Says:

If we look at any of the best playoff teams this year one commonality is they all have very good defenses.
Seattle, Rams, Broncos, Patriots, 49ers,…. The bears were very opportunistic…

Offensively I think this year if we can get a quality replacement for white, and either sign a free agent tight end, resign cade, or draft Kenyon, as well as ensuring that we have a quality third guard who can come in and replace an injured player if necessary. With our current OC, QB coach and those minimal adjustments we could have a very potent offense that is actually quite balanced as well. So many good options can touch the ball which will make it very tough on defenses.

Defense- I think if he doesn’t turn things around our current head coach / defensive coordinator should only be referred to by his new first name which is toilet.
Like everyone else I think he should be fired and in fact he should have been replaced by Coen which I was banging the drum for before last season.

But at this point we are stuck with him but that doesn’t mean we should not have expectations. Part of the blame falls squarely on his GM Jason who I do not think gave him enough quality options in the front seven to run the scheme that he prefers. There were some flashes in some different games where I saw things from this defense that had me excited that maybe we were going to turn the corner. And then things kind of kept unraveling as soon as any one player missed any time. Kancey while he wasn’t really on the stat sheet the first few games, was still a disruptive player that other teams had to account for and if I remember correctly defensively as a group we seem to play better early in the year before his injury.

I also think statistically we have played more of a bend don’t break defense that tightens up in the red zone and is okay giving up field goals because we traditionally have had an offense that would counter that with touchdowns. The problem with a defense like that is they tend to be on the field for many plays and can get worn down if there is not enough of a quality rotation to keep players fresh. I think that could have contributed a bit as the season wound down and our depth was non-existent.

It is 100% imperative that we leave free agency in the draft without two additional inside linebackers ideally two outside linebacker/edge rushers.we also need another big interior DT to spell and eventually replace Vea.I think we also might need another cornerback. This draft is very deep at CB edge and ILB

Time to let Hall go (unless we transition more to 4-3 base defense), Gaines go, Reddick go, Deion Jones go, Anthony Walker go.
If there is a market I would trade Zyon McCollum for a 3rd or early 4th and get rid of his lazy attitude and his expensive contract.

Licht is on notice along with Toilet Bowls.

    My draft:

    1. Styles if there. If not trade back past 20 and get another 2nd rounder (in this scenario I would go best player available which could be a pass rush edge guy, a stud defensive tackle, or one of the top corners if they fall)

    2. Trade up in 2nd and get best edge available. Ideally either TJ Parker, Gabe Jacas, Derrick Moore, Mesidor. (If we didn’t draft inside linebacker in the first, but took an edge like Howell, then I would get a pic here of either Lee Hunter or the best inside linebacker we could get at this position).

    3. I would double down on a front seven player. Depending on what we did in free agency I would either go another linebacker or edge rusher. If we have a second round pick still available then I would go inside linebacker again (Rodriguez)and then in the third round I would go for Nadame Tucker.
If we started the draft with an edge rusher in round one and had two second round picks and took Lee Hunter as a second pick or one of the edge rushers as a second pick then I would grab Rodriguez and young as two inside linebackers as my late second and third round pick. That would give us a great coverage linebacker a great instinctive linebacker who’s a playmaker in Rodriguez. It would have covered us with an edge rusher in the late first round and if things work out a great defensive tackle in the second and that would completely short up this defense. He would also have allowed us to then add a good veteran corner in free agency that could either start across from Morrison or be part of a three-man rotation with McCollum and Morrison allowing for Jacob Parrish to stay in the slot.

  48. Confido75 Says:

Looks like JL has been hitting the sauce in that pic. He is going to need it to get through FA and the draft to make this team somewhat relevant again.

  49. JA Says:

    Kidz——

Tomlin was here for a mere five years since his birth in Virginia in 1972. And he coached elsewhere before Dungy hired him in 2001.
    1. Why would Tampa be considered “coming home?”
    2. You wrote, “rhetorical question,” but failed to include it. What was it?
Sometimes, when people are trying to make a point I get curious about what that point might be.
    3. Just curious …

  50. Davenport Says:

Why would there be a buzz about the Bucs. 4 years of mediocrity, a career loser retained as a HC with no real change in the defensive scheme and a painfully average OC that wasn’t in the team’s top three choices.

What is there to get excited about?

  51. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Joe
“So what did the Bucs do in the 2026 season as a result of more attention in the spring and summer? Shat all over themselves.”

    You mean 2025 season.

  52. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

As to attention…it’s superbowl week. It’s to be expected.

  53. Jmarkbuc Says:

How typical of the Bucs to spend a fortune on a documentary about themselves at 50, and then go right in the toilet.

    Seems to match our history.

  54. Hodad Says:

Being ignored isn’t as bad as being laughed at. That’s next.

  55. Jerseybuc Says:

Got a bottom tier HC the league and people know it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  56. Obvious Says:

Some good points about the glazers being afraid of a rebuild. That really would make their recent decision making somewhat understandable, while still being the wrong decision.

However I agree with Marine, I also don’t think this team is too far off and would not require a rebuild.

If you found the right HC with the right staff you could accomplish several key initiatives:

-Teach mayfield how to play from the pocket more effectively
    -fix the run game
-get a pash rush from your lineman and the edge
    -competent game management decisions

That’s all doable in two offseasons but you have to get the right coach. And Licht has to find some success drafting pass rushers which has been elusive.

  57. Tony Says:

The Lightning brought more excitement in their one outdoor game there than the Bucs have in some of their games.

  58. Steve V. Says:

Its best to be ignored, just ask this past year Ravens, they were told how great they were this past season before they played a game UGH!

  59. Aqualung Says:

Not fair. Bowles is great and fired everyone. That’s bold leadership. They just don’t understand the greatness.

    Super Bowles.

  60. BucU Says:

Excellent posts by all. The 90%+ anti Bowles fanhood is alive and well. They may have kept Bowles but we’re here to let the entire organization know that we won’t accept that going forward. Not after what I saw with my own 2 eyes for the last 2 months of the season. It was appalling to see the lack of effort and disinterest from the entire team. That man lost the locker room regardless what Lovonte David said. The nail in the coffin for me was when he was asked why they keep losing these critical games and he answers “We as coaches have done all we can.”

  61. Hugh Glazerhouse Says:

Because Bowles sucks AND is BORING! Gosh, at least suck and be entertaining. I can’t stand both!

  62. Hugh Glazerhouse Says:

I hate the Glazers! Sorry, Joe, had to let that out just once this week.

  63. Tye Says:

CRAPPY head coach on a bad team – (fixed it for you and that’s why no buzz!)

  64. Riv Says:

It’s been 5 years since the Bucs were truly active in free agency with some major signings outside of resigning their own. How active they are this upcoming free agency period will be very indicative of how invested they are in winning this season. There are linebackers to be had, edge rushers to be had, veteran depth pieces to be had. You can only build so much through the draft. They need to maximize the end of Evans and Godwin together with a young and cheap McMillan and Egbuka.

  65. BigZ Says:

No players in this guys top 70, but pay CG a ridiculous contract after two bad injuries and possibly pay Baker 50 plus per. Doesn’t sound like a good ROI.

  66. BigZ Says:

    Tony, correct about the Bolts.

Im surprised there is little mention about the unnecessary Bowles extension. Thats the epicenter of this teams problems.

It seems pretty clear the Glazers are not very knowledgeable about football. They turned over a lot of their faith into JL.

  67. ElioT Says:

    APATHY

The Bucs don’t deserve any buzz and there is not much to look forward too…

What excites anyone about this team? Egbuka, Bucky, Kancey?

  68. HC Grover Says:

We shall start the Super Bowl Run hype next week. It will be a fun fake narrative day after day as usual. Yes the Yucaneers will embark for the Super Bowl led by BOWLZO and his band of misfit coaches. The Media Rehab of Bowlzo will ba amazing. After this Pro Bowl anything is possible.

  69. Newbie Says:

    That’s funny Joe.

Joe, what possible buzz is coming out of One Buc? Seriously? Other than the regime created scapegoats and kept the 2 guys steering the Titanic?

  70. Pewter Power Says:

There is absolutely no reason to take this team seriously short of two of the best linebackers and edge rushers in football signed in free agency or Egbuka type impact player at edge rusher and linebacker.

  71. BigBoiBuc Says:

    @ Joe(s)
For those of us that don’t subscribe to PFF+, any way to publish the PPF ranking of those on our team relative to their position group? For example, for the 2025 season , where did our players rank. Would be interesting to see. Do it for all the players ( 1st and 2nd teamers) that qualify for a grade, because I know there is a minimum snap count to get a grade.

  72. Defense Rules Says:

Marine Buc … ‘This has been a mediocre to below mediocre team since TB12’s last season.’

Actually Brady’s last year (2022) was our worst year offensively (only scored 313 points & ranked #25). We scored under 20 pts in 10 games that year. TB12 passed the ball 733 times that season & completed 490 of them (66.8%) yet we still went 8-9 but made the playoffs then got bounced by the Cowboys.

I suspect that year was a big reason why Bowles likes a better Run/Pass ‘balance’. Bucs only ran it on 33% of the plays that year and were absolutely horrible at it (3.4 YPC average and only scored 5 rushing TDs). Of course Lefty wasn’t really serious about running the ball anyways (#32 in Rushing Attempts).

Personally I’d say that TB12’s last season was way below mediocre, even compared to our 2025 results.

  73. Joe Says:

For those of us that don’t subscribe to PFF+, any way to publish the PPF ranking of those on our team relative to their position group?

Joe’s not. Joe thinks those things are complete trash. Most NFL people agree. So Joe’s not going to publish something he thinks is nonsense and misleading, other than to mock whoever typed it.

  74. gotbbucs Says:

    @ Cardiac kidz

Thats what I think they’re doing. Tomlin has always been the one that got away in their minds.

  75. ModHairKen Says:

Why would anyone talk about a team that lost seven of its last nine games and missed the playoffs?

Why would anyone talk about a team that had the opposing team with a third and 28 and then 1/4 and 14 and couldn’t stop them, lost the game, and cost themselves the playoffs?

Why would anyone talk about a team that has no heart and a bunch of quitters?

Why would anyone talk about a team who brought back a head coach that completely lost control of his locker room and obviously had some of the worst assistant coaches in the history of the league?

And you know what? No one’s gonna be talking about them during free agency because nobody’s coming here. There’s not gonna be a single marquis free agent signing this year.

  76. BigBoiBuc Says:

@Joe, havent I seen you use those numbers as reference points in some of your articles before?

  77. keydoc Says:

strong preference to under promise, over deliver….flying under the radar for the BUCS

  78. capebuc Says:

Just like there was no buzz about the Seahawks and Patriots last year? 🤔

  79. Been there since the beginning Says:

Let them all choke on their words when they decide to speak up, and be ignored because water rolls off this ducks back. I really don’t care about all the ESPN types no more anyway. On that note I’m taking my ball and going home lol!! Is this guys name David Walker? He got hurt and they thought he was going to be really good. Jason, pick’em and let’s get ready ya’ll..Let’s Go Bucs!!!

  80. Scotty Mack Says:

My wife nailed it a few games into the season. She said the last thing in the world the Bucs need is for the media to start telling them they are good. It’s a recipe for disaster. The Bucs thrive, and always have, when nobody expects much of them.

Nobody thought Brady was going to take the Bucs to the pinnacle and win a Superbowl his first year here … NOBODY! The next year, everybody thought they would and they choked against the Rams. Although Brady did his best to make it a game at the end, Bowles’ defense was what doomed the repeat.

The Bucs play their best when nobody thinks they are worth talking about. Maybe it’s Baker’s major chip on his shoulder and when people started talking “MVP” last year, he lost his mojo. Maybe the whole team did.

Injuries certainly were a major factor – both the known and unknown true injuries Bucs players had. The two teams in the Superbowl this year were among the least injured teams the entire season and certainly once the playoffs began. That is how it is every season. The healthiest teams at the end of the season go the farthest.

Hopefully, the Bucs can cash in on being dissed with that being the chip on the shoulder that makes them excel and the injury bug doesn’t bite them too hard next year. Re-signing Evans and adding some new talent on defense, especially, sure will help. I, for one, am not writing the team off. Every year is a new adventure and the Bucs have the type of roster that can go the distance if the football gods allow it.

Liam Coen is basking in the limelight in Santa Clara smoking and joking with Pat MacAfee

    🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

SB~LV….You earn buzz one way or another…Bowles has taken all the steam out of any national media attention that Bucs may have had & maybe that is for the best.

And love him or hate him for leaving the Bucs, but Liam Coen has earned his buzz & media attention. What he did in Tampa was no fluke. He worked the same magic in Kentucky before coming to the Bucs & repeated his successful formula in JAX this year. Success follows great coaches!

Too bad the Glazers & Licht didn’t have the foresight to make the right move last offseason & dump Bowles before letting Liam walk. They chose to stick with the guy that had already proven he was not a great HC…& his side of the ball was the biggest reason the Bucs didn’t go farther when Coen was in town.

I said it then & I will say it again…The Bucs decision makers will rue the day that they Liam leave.

He’s going to build a perennial winner 3hrs to north east while Bowles delivers mediocrity at best until the day he gets let go. All the while, the average fan in central FL will migrate to his successful & exciting brand of FB while the Glazers watch lower & lower turnstile numbers, decreased revenue, lagging merch sales & waning regional support.

The Giants and the Falcons will have more wins than the Bucs in 2026.

Why would there be buzz about a team that went 7-9 down the stretch and has Bowles for a head coach?

    Are you surprised?

We only gained popularity when TB12 came to town. They could have sustained some of it but they sh* the bed.

Now, no one wants to watch the LAR game. No one wants to watch a group of quitters and an incompitent coach.
