Todd Bowles, Josh Grizzard And Baker Mayfield
January 6th, 2026You saw it. Joe saw it. And you’re damn sure the Bucs saw it.
But don’t use Baker Mayfield as a scapegoat. That’s the word from Todd Bowles yesterday in his season wrapup.
Man, yesterday may have been the most media Joe has seen at a Bucs coach’s season wrap-up. Often, there are only maybe six or seven media members at these things. Yesterday, there may have been 30.
It was like someone expected an announcement or something.
So the following has been gnawing at Joe for weeks. In the first month or two of the season, the Bucs’ passing game was solid. Just like new offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard promised, he was throwing the ball downfield more. Not a lot, but some, certainly more than his predecessor Liam Coen.
When the Bucs started stinking out loud after the bye, the long passes quickly dried up. In the loss at Carolina, it was gross how many lateral screen passes to the left sideline Grizzard called. Why?
The Carolina game wasn’t the only game in which that happened.
Joe suspected Baker Mayfield’s various ailments prevented him from throwing long. So Grizzard crafted gameplans with just short passes.
Well, Bowles shot Joe’s thought process down.
Joe asked Bowles if Grizzard changed the offense to adjust for Mayfield’s injuries and if that is why downfield passes virtually vanished for a few games.
Bowles simply said, “No.”
No further information.
There has to be a logical reason Grizzard quit trying to throw deep for much of the season after the bye. Unfortunately, he won’t be made available by the Bucs to the local pen and mic club until maybe OTAs in April.
That is, if Grizzard is still around.

Why bother waiting,,,FIRE BOWLES TODAY!!!!
January 6th, 2026 at 9:42 am
Grizzard is only following Todd’s game plan. Todd’s fingerprints are all over how the offense collapsed after the bye week. Same thing happened to Leftwich once Bowles became the HC. He went from no risk it to biscuit throwing attack to the same thing we have now. Everything bad with this team always leads back to Bowles if you follow the trail.
January 6th, 2026 at 9:43 am
My best guess is just to say it was a disfunctional offense all around. I don’t know anyone but the Joe’s on the inside so I can’t necessarily credibly point fingers at anyone, they all underperformed. Communication, gameplan, execution, TRUST. It felt like after the hot start we lost every single one of those on the offense and defense.
Was there a players only meeting at all earlier in the season?
Baker did not execute down the stretch, in fact he was just a bad QB, if this was because of the injury, I put the blame on everyone, of course Baker is going to want to play, it’s up to the staff to make that call, and Baker too to realize he’s hurting the team.
If Grizz just changed the gameplan, he has to go, and Bowles has to either follow him out the door, or hire a DC so he can take some reigns over the offense (dunno if he’ll be any good but changes HAVE to be made in a stretch that bad, positive or negative).
I really do think Bowles should go, but I’m a fan with no access inside the building, so calling for his job does nothing really. Would it be stupid or at all plausible to demote him to DC, hire an offensive HC with an OC? I think Bowles can run a defense (displayed by his Bucs’ defenses while he was in that role) but he absolutely can not run a team (in my uneducated opinion)
January 6th, 2026 at 9:45 am
He didn’t bench players. He should have. He didn’t fire the special teams coordinator. He should have. He didn’t have Grizzard incorporate more downfield throws into the game plan. He should have. He didn’t simplify the defensive scheme to make it more effective or better fit the players he had to work with. He shold have. And, it goes on and on. And for those reasons, he shouldn’t be the head coach.
January 6th, 2026 at 9:45 am
It is truly a crime to have the offensive weapons the Bucs have for it to be ran by a weak minded defensive head coach. If it is Licht that made the fina decision to keep Todd, he needs to be fired. If it was the Glazers that decided to keep Todd, there needs to be a revolt! Don’t go to the games, don’t buy merchandise.
Keeping Todd another year is disgraceful and unacceptable.
January 6th, 2026 at 9:46 am
Preach on, QBKilla. If the Glazers listened to that charade, they must see what the rest of us see – a double talking, excuse making, over-deployed failure whom the game has passed by. Also, accountability isn’t just saying “I’m accountable.” It’s taking the actions necessary to correct defects and improve performance.
The Failure does the opposite. Every. Year.
“I won three straight division titles.” Really, Todd? Really??? The worst division in football, wherein you’ve had a talent advantage the whole time, abused that talent through horrible mis-assignments, and barely have your nose above the water line? 1-3 in the playoffs? Going from 5-1 to sitting on your couch eating more of whatever is you eat a lot of?
Really?
FIRE THE FAILURE.
January 6th, 2026 at 9:46 am
Media could’ve asked an open ended question “why” instead of offering a supposition they can either confirm or refute. Ask better questions, get better answers.
January 6th, 2026 at 9:49 am
@Myself
Bowles MIGHT be able to run a defense (when not burdened by anything other than the defense).
As I said though, would prefer to have an entire new staff.
January 6th, 2026 at 9:52 am
Our 2 guards were turnstiles in pass protection. It’s THEM that Grizzard didn’t trust, not Baker. That much was obvious and I’m still surprised anyone tries to blame this mess on Baker. Baker has already proven himself many times over!
January 6th, 2026 at 9:53 am
They stopped throwing deep because Baker couldn’t hit the throws. He was one of the least accurate QB’s this year on 10+ yard throws
January 6th, 2026 at 9:54 am
Fire both of them, no more retreads, get a young intovated offensive coach, with fresh schemes, and a defensive coordinator that utilizes edge rushers, or we will not compete, if this crew, stays aboard this ship, best they will achieve next season is 7-10, mark my words
January 6th, 2026 at 9:57 am
Well this is coming from the same HC and OC who believe running the ball 30 times against Carolina, no matter what, will statistically win the game.
The lights are on buy no one is home.
Very low IQs walking around Tampa.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:03 am
It is very weird what is going on at ONP. If they are keeping Todd, which it appears they are, why is the ST Coach not canned?!?! Grizz not being fired, it is a stretch, but I might see the rationale to that, but WOW. It was not just injuries. Grizz sucked.
And if Todd’s future has not been determined, that is even more bizarre. It is so bizarre it clearly indicates they are keeping him (why else would they not cut him on Black Monday to begin their search?)
Joe, when you say you cannot predict what the Glazers will do, man, you are not kidding. This is all very confusing and sends mixed signals.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:05 am
ALL 3 should be fired ALL 3 SHOULD BE LET GO ALL 3 SHOULD BE SHOWN THE DOOR ASAP
January 6th, 2026 at 10:08 am
Maybe it’s as simple as they were trying to give different looks, at different times of the year. Practice the long ball before the bye, dunk and dunk after, mthwn mix them in the playoffs.
Working in risk management, I get creating a game plan and sticking to it, and perhaps that was their fault all along
January 6th, 2026 at 10:10 am
After a garbage season all we can get is “no”…. The F’n entitlement of some of the players and coaches.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:17 am
The league caught on and he couldn’t adjust or formulate new schemes. The clear sign of someone who is in way over his head! We did not ADJUST or EVOLVE!!!
January 6th, 2026 at 10:19 am
I’ve been souring on Grizzard for most of the season. The end around toss to tex Johnson in the POURING RAIN was my last straw. Grizzard has to go. Egbuka better be on that Juggs machine for the next six months. Licht needs to help the OL depth. Baker needs to learn how to throw the ball away and stop forcing passes.
A lot of heat on Bowles, but this offense was an absolute mess most of the season.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:20 am
My biggest concern is that regardless of what the glazers decide, it sounds like they are not rushing to make that decision. If they do end up firing Todd and they wait too long some of the best coaching candidates will have been snapped up by other teams including the Falcons are competitor.
I think this is something that should be decided in the next 24 hours either to come out and say they’re staying with him and then fire whatever subcoaches need to be fired so that we can replace them before other teams swoop in, or to can him and find his successor while their options are the best.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:24 am
Joe, thanks for all the posts on the topic of the future of Todd Bowles and the Buccaneers.
One very important thing that is emerging from the players is that they had too many walk through practices and did not practice enough in pads or shells, at full speed, which would have prepared the players better for game time. I really can’t imagine how Todd thought that walk through drills only would be enough preparation before a game. These are world class athletes making millions of dollars a year. I’m simpler terms, nothing replaces hard work, and I don’t think the Buccaneers worked hard enough to make the playoffs. Saying that they were not prepared is a huge accusation from the players.
This alone in my opinion is a basis to part ways with Todd Bowles.
I have a feeling the Glazers are going to let him go this week. If they do,I can only hope the replacement they hire is an offensive genius that will bring in a DC that will totally revamp our defense and make it great again.
With the offensive talent on this roster a young energetic offensive minded coach should be able to compete for a championship in one season.
If the Glazers choose to keep Todd Bowles, I will support their decision and hope that he will re energize the team somehow, by bringing in a new OC, DC, and a culture of accountability, energy, and hard work.
Time will tell !!
Go Bucs 2026 !!
January 6th, 2026 at 10:25 am
I remember Mayfield whining that there were too many long throws and it was tiring everyone out. Him and the receivers.
That’s when I saw things changing.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:26 am
Baker sucks bucs will never with him at qb and also todd bowles being here another year sucks that raise the flag doc was all bs glazer don’t care if they did they would’ve fired todd already
January 6th, 2026 at 10:27 am
bowles should retire boring at least chucky would bring the excitement back and hold people accountable he got fired i think after a winning season
the colts/manning game was the downfall 1-7 bye 3 and 28 3 and freakin 28
January 6th, 2026 at 10:28 am
All the coaches and even Baker keep telling everyone that Baker isnt injured, and you dont believe them. Lol…Baker has bad downfield accuracy. He’s been that way since he got here thats why the offense doesn’t go deep no matter who the OC is. Baker thrived under Coen with crossing patterns and intermediate throws. Not go routes and 50 yard bombs.
They opened the offense up against Atlanta and Miami which lead to turnovers. The Bucs aren’t a quick scoring team plus the defense doesn’t get many takeaways so that makes Bowles scared. He doesn’t want to keep putting his bad defense back on the field.
The offense hurts the defense while the defense hurts the offense. Its all bad and it’s all Bowles fault because hes in charge.
This is the team philosophy he designed.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:29 am
The two logical reasons why Grizzard quit trying to throw deep would be Jordan and Feeney.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:32 am
Bartow Buc
The walk through “practices” are so puzzling. Who at their regular job only takes mental reps to get better at their job while not actively doing it? Joe says it’s not a secret the Bucs walk through and that it’s a league wide thing.
My response to that is that it’s obviously not working for the Bucs so they need to physically practice as much as the rules allow them to.
But thats Bowles for you, if it’s broke, dont fix it.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:37 am
Some of yall act as if the OL was the worst in the league and thats just not true. Baker holds the ball too long at times.
Baker ranks 16th in the league with time to throw at 2.71 seconds.
That’s better than Burrow, Jones, Jackson, Herbert and Rodgers just to name a few.
Stop the excuses. Injuries played a part, yes, but you have to get the ball out quicker.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:39 am
Best guess I’ve seen is that he didn’t trust the protection
January 6th, 2026 at 10:52 am
Correlation between last iteration of guard line up and decision to shorten attack? A long throw , with bakers mechanics, requires a big body twist. He can’t flick it 40 yards like rogers with his wrist . Baker winds like a spring , which takes nano second longer, which he didn’t have with that interior routinely collapsing around him…. Canales brought the mantra of getting ball out of bakers hands under 2.4 seconds… it meant decisive decision, and shorter, higher percentage routes. With every tick of the clock, completion percentage drops. The long ball, while lethal, invites low success. Baker thrived with intermediate rollouts and boot legs, which gave him space, and “ free” time to make reads.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:53 am
The. Oline is horrible with Jordan, Feeney and Chickamunga. Plus Otton was missing blocks. Baker had no time to setup for a deep pass as he was scrambling most of the time. Coupled with Grizzards pathetic play calling, Baker had no chance.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:55 am
I think it was pretty obvious after that first Carolina game when it became known that Bowles stated they had to run 30 times that it was him forcing a more conservative offense on the team. We’ve seen Bowles do this before. It was clear early in the season that this team could score points. What changed? Did Grizzard suddenly go stupid? No. Bowles wanted to slow games down, and with the injury to Baker, he didn’t want the team taking too many chances down field. I somewhat understand it, since Baker’s not a very accurate deep ball thrower anyways, but this is your QB Todd. You wanted the guy with the fire and attitude that was short, tended to flake out in the pocket, and who’s downfield completion rate was in the 20’s. So what gives? Joe has this right though; Bowels is more to blame for the sputtering offense down the stretch than Grizzard.
January 6th, 2026 at 10:56 am
It blows my mind this is a mystery to you all. Including you Joes.
OUR OFFENSIVE LINE COULD NOT HOLD UP!
That’s why we had quick passes.
January 6th, 2026 at 11:01 am
I am baffled as hell at this season like some bizzarro world or nightmare gonna wake up from each subsequent week. 6 and 2 then complete implosion. I can’t believe Gizzard forgot all he learned in a bye week and if so Bowles should have shown him tape of first half and previous season to remind him (coach him) and direct him to do what worked! Given the way this all fell apart we need to reset and fire Bowles. We were not a 8-9 team with no talent. The players didn’t decide at break to shutdown and suck. Maybe too mamy walk thrus IDK? Regardless of reason new leadership is needed. Maybe they are secretly doing a coaching search, a comprehensive review of why crapped the bed and gonna pull the trigger when find someone??? I don’t know but still early so going to keep the faith. Just some darn weird season and frankly given past three I don’t think Bowles is gonna lead us beyond average or worse… Oh ya like this season. Nothing is done in a vacuum and I am not going to be myopic and not look at the entire time Glazer’s owned team regardless of my current level of being ticked off!!!
January 6th, 2026 at 11:02 am
The reality, at least from my perspective, is neither the O or the D helped each other out. The offense was burdened with so many injuries that it is hard for me to separate poor play from the lack of opportunity to play well. The end of the season saw more help at the skill positions, but how many reps did they get with the full compliment? Yes, Evans was back, but at what speed and where in the flow of the offense. Say the same for Irving, McMillan & Godwin. And like it or not, the lack of O line consistency was a factor.
On D, the inability to stop the pass was awful. The lack of any meaningful sacks was glaring. If Todd is such a great defensive mind, did he forget to use it?
Lots of blame to go around, but for me, it has to start with the coaching staff. New HC, OC, DC & STC.

The question should have been asked:
“What adjustments in offensive scheme were made when the Offense production and points production went down?”
If they didn’t change scheme because of Mayfield’s injuries then why did they go conservative on the passing game?

Spot on. Also, Tristan missed a lot of games and he was not healthy when he played. The left tackle is responsible for the QB not getting blindsided. Our left tackle position was not very good all year.
January 6th, 2026 at 11:08 am
I’m getting tired of the O-Line excuses for Bakers poor play. The offense line was at its worst at the beginning of the season when Baker played his best ball the first 6 six weeks. It got better in pass protection as it got healthier. They ended the season with the 9th best pressure rate allowed according to Next Gen Stats. We paid the QB, hold them accountable to the franchise QB standard
January 6th, 2026 at 11:09 am
I guess you can’t blame fans for almost always ignoring conditions on the ground and blaming the QB for losses. The pundits and TV commentators obsess over QB stats that are usually shaped by offensive line effectiveness, play design, and the ability of receivers to get open. But after 17 games of working under arguably the worst conditions of any QB in the league in terms of injuries to the offensive line and receivers, Baker still managed to come up with stats that were about equal or better than Mahomes, Herbert, Darnold, Nix, and Lawrence, none of whom are facing criticism for performance with teams that have excellent offensive lines and defenses. He made mistakes as all QBs do, but the focus on him is misguided. Eleven interceptions for the year under these conditions (and with at least five of them because of receiver gaffes) against 26 TD passes is pretty good under the circumstances.

Chuckys Bucs is right. Tristan did not play well most of the year. The two guards were second and third string players. The first part of the season he was obviously not healed. Luke was not playing well at times as well. Add to that in the middle of the season and late season we were playing second and third string wide receivers.
January 6th, 2026 at 11:46 am
I like Baker. Tough, good attitude, team first dude. He played with a bad oline most of the year and lots of different WRs, all true and fair.
But PLEASE stop making him out to be a great or even consistently good QB!
Many MANY times when Baker did have a clean pocket, he would start gerting his happy feet going and hoping around in the pocket and ran into some unnecessary sacks. Many times Baker didnt get the Bucs in the correct play or didnt see the blitz coming. Many timed Baker didnt see wide open receivers and threw costly picks.
Baker’s record in primetime sucks.
All QBs deal with oline injuries. Take a look at Herberts oline injuries this year. All QBs dont have 3-4 great WRs.
I like Baker..good dude..average QB
January 6th, 2026 at 11:52 am
Would Bowles become a total hands off defense Head Coach if they allowed someone to come in and take over as DC. I mean I can not judge the talent on this team because of what Bowles attempted to do in his so called genius mind set game plan. Wonder if this option will be given to him.
Having Vita drop back into pass protection is not something I think anyone should judge Vita on, but I sure can judge the guy who tried to scheme this thing.
January 6th, 2026 at 11:54 am
I wish you people would stop pointing fingers. Playing a first place schedule every year.Picking low in the draft every year is going to catch up to you.Eventually. This year , tampa bay will pick thirteenth in every single round. They’re gonna be able to draft , even better players. Stop blaming baker mayfield. Injuries are a big part of this game. Look at how many players were down this year because of injuries and look at how much baker tough it out for the entire team. The Players see this in baker Mayfield.\nAnd they see how much he’s been hurting all year and they stand behind him , and they stand with him because they’re all team players

Honey Bee you are an idiot Baker ranks in the to top 13th in down field accuracy 2023-2024.
January 6th, 2026 at 12:21 pm
Several Bucs players stated (off the record) that their late season slump was due to too many walk-throughs and not enough live practice. Yaya was the only one to go on the record saying that and he felt it led them to be unprepared come Sunday. Whether it was to protect against injury or to increase their “mental game”, he felt the walk-throughs were the reason so many mistakes were made, especially on defense where bad angles were taken, missed assignments, etc. That falls squarely on Bowles’ shoulders for not having his team prepared. Grizz’s play calling didn’t help, either.
January 6th, 2026 at 12:22 pm
Plawson thank you for your clear mind, 100% right. These people don’t like Baker for perceived slights from another life. They are weak people that can’t get over the wrongs they perceive as true. Baker has proven over and over again when he is healthy and the team is working as it is designed he is a top 5 quarterback. They don’t like that so they make up bs narratives that any intelligent person can see it for what it is BS!! KEEP TRUCKIN BM6
January 6th, 2026 at 12:27 pm
It’s simple. It’s what I’ve stated previously, weeks ago… They. DON’T. Trust. BAKER. It’s obvious. I also, think part of the reason was Grizz ‘trying’ to be like Cohen with the short passing game, but he just never had the ‘chops’ to succeed at the same level. He didn’t have the mind. It’s about TIMING and RYTHYM. He didn’t know HOW to scheme ‘blocking’ or HOW to get receivers OPEN, and the ball into their hands where they can actually do SOMETHING (YAC) with it! On the few occasions, when he actually DID… BAKER would throw-it BEHIND THEM.
A LOT of it is also on BAKER. He has to be able to throw them OPEN, and with the proper TIMING, out in FRONT of them towards the ‘open spots’ of the field. HE FAILED at doing that. Cohen’s ‘run-blocking’ schemes and ‘skill-level’ actually coaching-it is ELITE. Just a whole other LEVEL.
Plus, Bowles was constantly trying to hold BOTH of them BACK. You know it just had to be a constant struggle, too! Especially, mentally. Cohen SAVED Bowles JOB last season. Literally. And, they STILL weren’t great! Just take a look at JACKSONVILLE. It should tell you ALL you need to know.
January 6th, 2026 at 12:35 pm
@ Bucblind – NO. Actually, NOT at all. You people… You “Baker-Bois,” are VERY weird. Seriously… Actual “ADULT” fanboys. Just sooooo freaking WEIRD. We have ‘eyes’ that can SEE. Ya know, it’s actually a very large ‘sample-size’ now, after 9-SEASONS AND 4-TEAMS. And, hate to break the news, but HE’s NOT going to be in the NFL HOF. He won’t even receive ‘ONE’ single vote. 💯
January 6th, 2026 at 12:36 pm
On “most value lost to injury” we rank 8th in the league. That is substantial. Hopefully, 2026 will be better.
January 6th, 2026 at 12:39 pm
Bucblind
You’re living up to your name sir, you obviously must be blind if you didnt see Baker put that 13th ranking to the test against Miami. Did you see that badly underthrown deep ball to EE that got picked? Did you see the other pass that got picked by the safety in the 4th quarter of that game? How did his ranking help him then?
Use your brain, if Baker was good at throwing deep then why hasnt any OC in the past 3 seasons run a deep passing offense with Baker?
As good as Coen is he couldn’t coach or scheme the turnovers out of Baker.
January 6th, 2026 at 12:54 pm
Baker was injured, yeah Baker was injured.
Uh oh, fifteen minutes to Judge Wapner.

Answer = Grizzard sux and isn’t qualified to be OC, kinda like Bowles.
January 6th, 2026 at 12:59 pm
I don’t know if memory fails the Glazers: 2 minutes ran off the clock against Detroit years ago. There was plenty of times that happened this year a little. Oh I didn’t forget Washington last year 1 and done in the playoffs. Something happens and we just forget how to play at times, like the last 8 games. I saw Jared Goff throw the same interception three weeks ago. Wanted to throw it but one of the big guys was in the way and I guess without thinking the guys out of the way and you throw it but nothing you saw a second ago is there, except the one taking the ball that you just gave him..

@ BucsFan951 Says: “ If it is Licht that made the fina decision to keep Todd, he needs to be fired.”
Either way, LICKT should be fired then! If it wasn’t ‘HIS’ OWN decision, then HE is nothing other than just a “Yes-Man,” and NOT a true ‘REAL’ GM. So, whichever way you wanna slice-it, HE’s GOTTA GO. 93-104. 12-YEARS. It’s as simple as THAT. Honestly, I don’t even believe HE’s evaluating the talent, OR picking the players. I think Bowles fricken TOLD HIM ‘who’ to get and just as importantly, ‘who’ NOT to get! He is a total, complete WASTE. They are in DESPERATE NEED of fresh, new BOLD LEADERSHIP. A sharp, strong, competent, slick salesman type of modern day GM, with great instincts, and who can evaluate TALENT and CLOSE (on a ‘top-tier’ level HC and in free-agency). PERIOD.
January 6th, 2026 at 1:01 pm
Tom Brady threw some picks brother Tom was like a machine on the field but, sometimes when you make him move he could throw one.
January 6th, 2026 at 1:05 pm
Were there wide open receivers dowfield that Baker chose not to throw to or were they covered? Did Griz stop sending receivers long? If he did, were the receivers at fault for not getting open or could they not get open due to a bad scheme?
Tough for me to know who to blame without knowing the answers to those questions.
January 6th, 2026 at 1:12 pm
“ Baker has already proven himself many times over!”
There is no such thing as “already proven himself,” in THE NFL. It doesn’t exist. It’s what have you done for me LATELY. You go out and “prove yourself” EVERYDAY. You are only “proven” by who you were, and what you did YESTERDAY. Until you’re NOT.
January 6th, 2026 at 1:12 pm
“Just like new offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard promised, he was throwing the ball downfield more. Not a lot, but some, certainly more than his predecessor Liam Coen.” – Joe
When Bowles said “No” I see no reason to believe him. He’s already shown a willingness to lie (QB Comp).
January 6th, 2026 at 1:14 pm
Grizzards offense averaged 2pts a game more that Canales’s in 2023 and Canales parlayed 20.4pts a game into a HC gig. Get healthy amd add a piece on offense and overhaul the D. Then maybe Todd can squeeze out 10 wins which is his career high mark in 8 seasons as a head coach lol
January 6th, 2026 at 1:19 pm
Injuries…to Baker, the WRs, RBs and OL are why the offense crashed. I feel for Grizz…just a bad year to be OC…but regardless, time to replace the coaches.
I would only keep the RBs and OL coaches. (OL worked miracles with 2nd stringers…but when 3rd stringers started playing, they had no chance).
January 6th, 2026 at 1:33 pm

PLUS, he has been ‘sacked’ far LESS than most other Starting-QB’s… Especially, those who played in ALL 17-GAMES like he did. But, I’ve been ‘trying’ to tell these ‘moron liars’ THIS all along, but they continue to just ignore it! It’s WHY they continue doing the same thing over and over again, and ‘buying/believing-in’ EMPTY propaganda, and voting ‘politically” the way they do. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
It’s because, when you ‘believe’ withOUT REASON, then you canNOT BE persuaded or convinced with REASON. You are just empty. And, quite frankly… REALY DUMB. Facts cannot get in the way, no matter what. Not even your own eyes, REALITY, or just basic common sense. It prevents them from remembering how to THINK.

And, it is the WAEK who always looks to find and invent another EXCUSE. It’s a FACT.

@ buc4evr Says: “The. Oline is horrible with Jordan, Feeney and Chickamunga. Plus Otton was missing blocks. Baker had no time to setup for a deep pass as he was scrambling most of the time. Coupled with Grizzards pathetic play calling, Baker had no chance.”
Complete HOG WASH.

Squeeze out 10 wins in the worst division to lose a home playoff game? No thanks.
January 6th, 2026 at 2:15 pm
Lmao. B.A. sitting there on McAfee saying that HE’s still SHOCKED that Bryan Leftwich isn’t being mentioned for a HC’ing Job… Said it is a CRIME. That, HE is THE GREATEST ‘offensive mind’ that HE has EVER been around LoL. Annnndd, HE would’ve NEVER taken the TAMPA JOB in the first place, had Old Lefty not agreed to being his OC. Also, for the kicker… It was during that BS/NO BS segment that they do on every Tuesday. Hahahahah
January 6th, 2026 at 2:17 pm
He says, “Todd will right the ship, and JL will have another great draft.” LMFAOOOOOO. HAHAHAHAHHHH.
January 6th, 2026 at 2:20 pm
@melvin
I’ll always appreciate Arians and what he did for the Bucs and the culture. But I really hope he doesn’t suggest anymore coaches for the Bucs to hire. Without him, they all suck. Lol…
Bruce is a good friend, obviously, he’ll go to bat for people who are horrific at their jobs. But right now isnt not the time to hire friends.
“Greatest offensive mind” Lol…BA knows hes wrong for that blatant lie.
January 6th, 2026 at 2:47 pm
Draft the best available qb and use baker as a mentor.
January 6th, 2026 at 2:48 pm
@ Bee – EXACTLY. 💯

@Bee
Oh yeah I’m all for regime change. I’m just preparing myself for the worst case scenario.

Stallworth Is speaking Facts
January 6th, 2026 at 4:23 pm
MelJr.
You said in your monalogue about something in big caps being REALLY DUMB. I think you were referencing just about any one of your comments?
January 6th, 2026 at 4:31 pm
I know this is sacrilege, but perhaps one of the issues was that neither Evans or Godwin are nearly the player they were a couple of years ago. The one opponent that is undefeated is time.
January 6th, 2026 at 5:15 pm
Well, since My ‘Noles will suck next year as well as the Bucs, gonna have a lot of free weekends next year. No 4 hour drive on Saturdays and SAF not driving 45 minutes to RayJay next year for any home games. Will get a lot more stuff done on the weekends and hit the range more often. Thank Todd
January 6th, 2026 at 9:06 pm
Old Melvin, you are so much smarter than the rest of us aren’t ya! Maybe, just maybe, Mayfield has been sacked less because he is “athletic” enough to escape better than the other guys. I guess you don’t remember him running around in the backfired putting the moves on the defense and their inability to catch him?? Mayfield moves/runs better than most of the other quarterbacks. That’s why he led the league in converting 3rd downs into 1st downs, leading to a score. Do ya think that had something to do with us winning games old Mel?
January 6th, 2026 at 9:42 pm
Should of drafted Bo Nix 2 years ago, told you idiots and I was laughed at. This team get hurt so damn easy , no depth in the online, no real pass rush , secondary needs a pro bowl corner, need a pro bowl middle line backer, need a young QB with some promise and a coach that’s not stuck in 1985.
January 7th, 2026 at 12:41 am
Bo Nix is doing good because he has a top 5 coach and a top 5 OL. Baker has never had that and he occupied the #1 spot on NFL.com for 6 weeks and the only reason he lost it was due to his injury and he has a coach that ranks in the bottom 3rd and a line that is a revolving door of practice squad linemen. Baker is top 5 when he is not hurt. I don’t know why some of you people are NEVER HAPPY.
January 7th, 2026 at 12:48 am
Bee, uh… because most of the time the practice squad line can’t hold their blocks long enough for the WR to get open. Heck they had trouble getting open this year too. I have to tell you that the OL is the most important position group that enables a qb to perform well. Without good blocking the qb is dead.
January 7th, 2026 at 12:54 am
You people live in a dream world Melvy, they don’t trust the line to hold their blocks long enough for Baker to do his thing. And one more thing Melvy when you Hold the #1 position for 6 weeks with a weak OL and your best WR’s are hurt you proved yourself. #1 don’t forget it.
January 7th, 2026 at 2:46 am
melvin
PLUS, he has been ‘sacked’ far LESS than most other Starting-QB’s… Especially, those who played in ALL 17-GAMES like he did.
_____________________________________
lmfao if i didn’t already think you were an idiot before, that comment made it ridiculously clear. you think the fact that he was sacked less was due to his great oline?? literally everyone who knows football has talked about baker’s escapability being one of his biggest assets. he is sacked less because he’s able to scramble and is extremely difficult to tackle. there are highlight videos of him all over the internet that have people asking how he was able to get out of the situation without taking a sack, and convert with his legs. #moronmelvin

John Harbaugh – HC
Todd Monken – OC
Robert Saleh – DC
LFG!!!!!
January 7th, 2026 at 7:43 am
Keep making excuses for baker
Keep him on your pedestal
He is not a great QB, average at best.
Blame everyone else truth is if he is playing injured it’s because he knows if the backup comes in he will be exposed and it will show how good he truly ain’t
He is not elite just average.
Bowles is the perfect coach for him and any and all average players on the team because Bowles is so bad it puts the focus on him and not on them
January 7th, 2026 at 8:18 am
BucsNoles – Why would Saleh and Monken leave their organizations for the same position with the Bucs? Makes no sense and won’t happen.
January 7th, 2026 at 8:50 am
John Harbaugh is available. He is a far superior HC to Bowles.
Glazers, you need to make a play for Harbaugh.
Go Bucs. Go Canes. Cheers.
January 7th, 2026 at 12:32 pm
Hey Mike just so you know average QB’s don’t hold the #1 position on NFL.com until that qb gets hurt. No average qb has ever help that position for a week let’s alone for 6 weeks until you are injured. You people are imbeciles.
January 7th, 2026 at 12:42 pm
Baker Mayfield held the #1 position for 6 weeks until he WAS HURT then he lost it. You boys try and forget that don’t you, but you can’t. Eats at you doesn’t it.😂
January 7th, 2026 at 1:28 pm
I hear alot of u guys keep saying baker was bad or hurt u don’t go from 4500 yds 42 TD’S to 3600 yds & 26 TD’S WITH BASICALLYthe same lines call of them were hurt this year gizzard the blizzard sucked & Liam Coen shined thats all u need to ask
January 7th, 2026 at 4:56 pm
