Report: Todd Bowles Confirms He Will Coach Bucs In 2026

Todd Bowles says he will return as Bucs head coach next season. Bowles wasn’t sure when asked at his season wrap-up news conference on Monday.
Bowles met with the Glazer family, which owns the team, Tuesday and had interviews scheduled with members of his coaching staff Wednesday.
When asked if he was officially back as Bucs head coach for 2026, Bowles confirmed he was in a text message to the Tampa Bay Times

If they bring Bowles back it feels like we are in the middle of a 10 game losing streak. I will be going to the beach, playing golf, anything other than watching teams go up and down the field on us at will. This is the worst decision they could have made. JL better be willing to grab some free agents on defense that actually play with some hunger. And he must nail the draft. I may be totally wrong but these are my views.
After the debacle with TB12 and BA and BL leading to TB being head coach the owners got complacent and failed to have satisfactory contingency plans on the shelf. Observing what Canales was able to do with their franchise QB and the lack of quality coaching on the defensive side of the ball in addition to Bowles obvious shortcomings should have been a wake up call. If they let Canales get away because he wasn’t viewed as HC ready so be it. But if they let him get away out of loyalty to Bowles shame on them.
They got a second chance with Coen. Letting him get away was incompetence and failure to read the tea leaves. Just who do they think will come in to the current situation ? Will Baker have a say ?
This situation will spiral down the drain and Bowles will ultimately end up being fired anyway. Dumb Dumb and Dumber

PLENTY, namely Jim Harbough, Mike McCarthy, Brian Flores, Kevin Stafanski, Kubiak, Minter, Shula… actually anyone not named Raheem Morris.

They really need a CEO of football like other teams are doing. Atlanta is going to bring Matt Ryan in to do that. Denver already has one.
Glazers do not have the football experience to run the franchise on football matters.
Keeping Bowles will only backfire on them unless there are separate DC and OC brought in.
Even then don’t trust Bowles to keep from meddling with them.
This will also hurt Bucs financially and lead to empty seats on Sundays.

Unbelievable. If you removed the games that we won the past two years that were a result of Baker Mayfield gutting it out on 4th down…or if you remember him “leading” Tom Brady’s last year to an 8-9 record and then blew the season with a horrible defensive call to end the season against the Rams…and how we’ve squeaked by to take the weakest division the past few years then had a massive meltdown to kill the season…he blamed the players, only recently is showing a sign of slight accountability but insists he deserves a second chance because he won the division in the past. Our standard for excellence is gone! This guy may be nice, but he’s about as motivating as Homer Simpson. Look at the teams that have fired their coaches…the Ravens! Now that’s a team with a culture of excellence. The Falcons…they actually showed a sign life this year, had a top rated defense and lost their starting QB…and ended with the same record as us….and fired a second year coach. I’m baffled and honestly have become dispassionate about the team. I love Baker, the OL, Evans and a few of the guys, but if management can’t surround them with inspiring, brilliant minds…I’m done. Bowles isn’t even a good game manager… Horrible decision to keep this guy. I’ll check back in when ownership fires Bowles next year and we have the #3 pick in the draft.

This is discouraging. Bucs are my football team, and I’m not gonna abandon them just because of 1 decision that I don’t agree with. But it’ll be awfully hard to be optimistic about the coming 2026 season because I have close to zero faith in this coaching staff.
This entire football team and coaching staff needs a MAJOR MAKEOVER. Assuming Todd does stay, he needs to start the process by admitting that his ‘Inspire Change’ shirt should’ve read ‘I Don’t Like Change’. Hopefully though the Glaziers & Licht keep him on a short leash, and force him to upgrade his coaching staff (on multiple levels) AND then upgrade the talent level on this team. Ideally they’ll also force him to hire a DC who runs a 4-3 (maybe then he’ll keep his hands off it?).
Licht needs to start by focusing MUCH MORE on free agents than on draft picks; I’ll take proven performers over rookies 90% of the time. Todd’s convinced me that he does MUCH BETTER with quality veterans (like Suh, JPP, Shaq, etc) than he does with rookies. Our 2025 rookie class hasn’t shown me diddly yet, but I suspect a lot of that has to do with coaching staff development of these latest rookies.

Bowles comment doesn’t mean anything based on the history of how the Glazers work.
They are a very private and deliberate group.
I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve to be replaced. It is quite likely they are talking with Harbaugh and others. They generally don’t make changes without having a plan already in place.

OK… then defense genius tell the fan base how you are going to fix this porous defense with no edge rush and an aging Vea and David is pretty much gone.

Big mistake. Too many comfortable guys on defense. Have said many times that there are many on this Bucs defensive teams that wouldn’t start for most NFC defenses. Should be working on both talent upgrade and coaching upgrade. Try to get Jim Schwartz from Browns to be the new DC. Todd Bowles is stubborn. His schemes are bad and he is not a good evaluator of defensive talent. Need 2 ILB’s, a serious EDGE, and draft picks for AWjr who is incredibly overated.

I’ve liked the Bears since the time I had season tickets for the Bucs and we played the Bears at home. Ditka was having a bad day and fans were yelling him. After a while he turnaround and shot a bird at the fans. It was great fun and showed his spirit as a real coach. I think I’ll check out on the Bucs and follow the them. I just can’t take Bowles anymore.

Go on YouTube or wherever and watch the sequence of plays that led to that successful Falcons drive. Look at Kindle Vildor loafing, not paying attention, missing tackles. Kindle Vildor missed the tackle on Kyle Pitts on that 3rd and 28 play. On the next play both he and Antoine Winfield Jr. were out of position.
Jamel Dean missed the tackle that put the Falcons in FG range.
I didn’t see Todd Bowles missing tackles on the field.
If anything, the Bucs issues this year come down to injuries and Jason Licht having a bad year as an executive. There are a few players on this team who should not be in the NFL and Vildor is one of them.

And then he will pass over making bold deals for stud edge rushers and settle for some reclamation projects in free agency who are on their fourth team. Sadly Boweles is here for another year. The only ways I can see this team improving is hiring an actual DC, and letting said DC have actual control of the defense. Also get a new OC and backup QB. If Baker gets hurt again we need someone we can trust enough to let Mayfield get healthy. Trask would have been better than Bridgewater, and that’s not me glazing Trask lol.
While we definitely need more talent(especially defense), I do NOT believe we lacked the talent to the point our D was this bad. Same with our offense. Play action? What’s that? Seriously, there was some really bad play calling this year on offense. Get that fixed.
And grow some damn balls, and go for it on 4th and 2 when we need to. Too many times Bowles is too conservative, and it bites us in the rear end bad.
And finally, we all know this will end in a new coaching staff anyways with Bowles. He doesn’t inspired players at all. And that will always translate to the play.

I’m with you brother. I am a 50 year guy myself and was at that same pre-season game that started it all. Against my (then) former favorite team the Dolphins. I think you have me beat on the # of season ticket holder games by a few seasons. Not sure I have ever watched a full jaguars game ever. That is about to change. How long will I be gone? Tough to say. Myself and a few buddies get together most very Sunday. But I know they feel same way as I do about this Glazer mess.

Many, including myself, have said many times that our problems are a combination of shortfalls in players AND coaches. Growing up playing sports as I’m sure both of us did D-Rome, I can’t remember any ‘walk-throughs’. I can though remember day-after-day hitting each other on the team just as hard as if we were the opponents on the next game-day. Maintaining PROFICIENCY at anything requires constant practice, not walk-throughs. Not hard to tell if someone is out of position or taking bad angles tackling if you’re running a full-blown practice. How do you tell that though in a walk-through?
Good point you brought up about Jason Licht having a ‘bad year as an executive’. Far too many fans have failed to hold him ACCOUNTABLE for ‘stocking the cupboards’. Our DEPTH really sucked this year, and that’s on him. Unfortunately Bowles ended up playing a lot of those depth players for many, many snaps as the injury bug devoured our starters. Guess what … most of those depth players won’t be here this year and all those valuable game snaps will have been wasted.

Agree on JL not having a good year. Depth was weak and they were not prepared for the rash of injuries. Conditioning and Strength also needs to be addressed. Also, if players are not doing what is required, get rid of them, even if they are talented. Nick Saban said, ‘God-given talent will only get you to good at best.” Accountability goes both ways, its not just on JL and TB. That’s why football is called a team sport.

Even the Jets owner was smart enough to can Bowels after 4 years. Google the news articles as to why. Thinking, because so many coaches have been fired it would be a big mess trying to get the right person to come in for next season. Why would we want any of the majority of coaches that got fired? They got fired for reasons too. If they get a DC, they could be the person that takes the HC job in the next year. I agree that Jason Licht should be held accountable, but, it is for alot more than one bad year. Name one of the 18 defensive players that he has drafted in the last five years who has contributed a great deal to this team? Ya Ya is probably the best of the bunch and he is just ok. Kancey just has hardly been on the field the rest are worthless. The new guys in 2025 look ok at best, but, do not look like guys who can turn the franchise around. And that is just the defensive drafts—the offensive drafts in the past 5 years are barely any better. Can journalists be journalists and admit that Licht is really bad at drafting players and better go all in in free agency this year?

The ownership and Licht (he cannot be excused from this) are as detached from the fanbase and what we are seeing the last few years as coach Bowles is about his defense.
Its like the Glazers and Licht are sitting back 10 yds off in coverage themselves.
For mental health reasons I will not be emotionally invested this season in our Bucs. I will watch the games like I m watching the preseason. Because from the monet I will start expecting something we will start seeing the same things over and over again like we have the last years.

Glazers have made a very bad decision unless they bring in coordinators and institute an offense they scores points and a defense that covers receivers and tight ends. Guys, stop throwing out quality names as potential coordinators.
No one with proven ability will come to Tampa for what will probably be a one year job.
We’ll wind up with young guys who are trying to make a name for themselves or older retreats trying just to hang on.
Bowles has wasted the remaining prime years of Evans, Vea, Wirfs, David, etc. and was responsible for Godwin being chronically injured.
No free agents are coming and anyone who can leave this team will. Players can clearly see that the ship is sinking.
My only hope in all this is that the Glazers wanted Bowles to announce his return as a way to gauge the reaction from fans.

I am just disgusted by this. I have been a rabid fan since the first win in 1977. I can’t even kid myself that I won’t watch the games but this is unbelievable and seems extraordinarily stupid to keep one of the worst defensive coaches against the pass that I’ve ever seen in a league that favors the pass. His coaching and the players uninspiring play over recent weeks has even stopped me from finishing the Raise Your Flags documentary. 95% of the fanbase want Bowles gone. He’s basically left with family, friends and idiots that still support him. With the schedule we have for next year I can’t see us winning more than five games and then we’ll finally be done with these clowns but then who knows, they just may bring him after five and 12. I just didn’t want to spend the last few years of my life rooting for a loser.

I am originally from Chicago and grew up as a Bears fan until I moved down to Florida in 1999…for me the worm turned for me when the Bears retained Dave Wannstedt after a similer situation.(bad record and retained) I knew then that ownership was clearly NOT serious about winning and I checked out and never looked back,
My new team choices were either the Bucs or the Dolphins and when the Dolphins hired Wannstedt that made the choice easy for the Bucs.
I saw an ownership group that actually wanted to win in Tampa Bay epescially when they traded for Gruden.
This retaining of each Bowles is exactly like that situation with Wannstedt…this presents itself as strickly a financial decsion in that he was recently extended.
Sorry, mentally, I cannot get behind a team that the ownership is NOT “all chips in” in on winning a Super Bowl….this year was painful enough the second half of the season….it was so PAINFUL to endure and at this level, it always comes down to coaching.
Sorry Glazers but a BLATENT committment to medicority has CONSEQUENCES as you are about to find out.

We won’t be winning much and the game-threads will look the same — filled with frustration and anxiety.
Retaining Bowles is either, A) A rebuild strategy: expensive assets either retire or trade, opening up a rebuild window after the 2026-27 season, or, B) Another incredible mistake due to not paying attention, either to game-day performance(s) or fan disenchantment.
Either way — another year of disappointment as the team is now in a downward spiral.
I’m not local to the area (northerner), so I’m not going to affect ticket sales.
But what I’ve been paying annually for Game-Day so that I don’t miss a minute — that’s history (going back to Red Zone for coverage — “the Bucs are up by 7, the Bucs are tied, the Bucs are up by 3, the Bucs are down by 4, the Bucs are down by 11, the Bucks are down by 14….. ad nauseum). I’m simply not going to pay-up to get a stomach ache watching Bowles and Grizzard slowly lose each game with their weak coaching — waiting for Baker to perform some sort of miracle to save them in the final minutes.
The NFL distributes revenue on every revenue source. I, or anyone else, might think so, but media-derived revenue lost could way-exceed revenue lost on stadium ticket/concession income.
I’m definitely going to remain a Bucs fan, but my enthusiasm for their season will not be there. Sorry — with the status quo, that’s akin to waiting to win a lottery — unrealistic and a waste of time and money.

We are not the only people that know that in January of ‘27, we will be sitting here talking about the same things we are today:
Soft zone defense
Lack of pass rush
No killer instinct
Lack off aggression on defense
Blown coverages
Inconsistent decision making regarding when to go for it and not
Lack of an overall feeling for the game flow
It will net us somewhere between 4-8 wins. I’m really hoping that no matter 4, 8 or in between it means that he’s done in time for ‘27…no ifs or buts, and that this is a soft-tank decision. At least then it’ll be a clean slate for the new coach with a great looking ‘27 draft class coming

WTF?? This tells me that Harbuagh turned them down, OR they’re stuck with Bowles’ overpriced contract extension, and don’t want to pay both. Evan Closkey on CH10 says he’s can confirm the report. He says there will be changes at OC, special teams and defensive coaches. HOPEFULLY the Glazers make him give up defensive playcalling. I wish they would just scrap his defensive scheme completely! I’ve seen guys on the edge dropping back into pass coverage way too many times, and I’m sick of it!

Can’t say I am suprised about the decision. Read what i am going to write here. This is not coming from my opinion, not even smart enough to think about this way. Try to remember what Our old buddy (Rod Munch) has said over and over in many of his post. He has not post in this particular thread yet. Most of this he said is from memory so if i get some of it wrong sorry Rod. To It makes no sense to get rid of him this year. No Coach wants to come in here and take over a team thats not going to have a top 5 pick to get a quarterback. I am the biggest Baker Mayfield fan. Rob Munch is not we all know this about him. I agree with him the Baker did a big backside this year. He was fair about his assessment of Baker. Wondering if he was hurt or just back to the old Baker. I am in total agreement with Rod Munch on this one. Next year you will have the opportunity to get ride of big money players and cap space. So unfortunately we get to deal with Todd Bowles.

If he’s staying, he CAN’T call the defense anymore! We need a new special teams coordinator AND a new offensive coordinator! They should go for either LA’s or Seattle’s. If Todd gets fired next season, and either of those guys make the offense look incredible, then dump Todd and promote them.
It sucks, I know, but these are the cards we have been dealt. Might as well try to find the bright spot in it.

DR you are aware that the current CBA only allows for 14 actual full-contact, padded practice days during the regular season, with 11 max in the first 11 weeks and 3 more during the remaining 6. This was agreed upon by both the players and management/ownership. It’s not Bowles or anyone else in the organization going soft on practices, it’s anything beyond the 14 allowed days would violate the CBA with violations reported to NFLPA. I know you one of those data-driven posters, so I am surprised you wouldn’t have done your due diligence on researching this. Unless you have documented evidence that the Bucs held way fewer than 14 full-contact practices, then I don’t know how this argument makes any sense if all the practice rules dictated by the CBA apply to the other 31 teams?

Todd Bowles may very well be a great human being. Bowles has squandered plenty of talent to work with. He’s the definition of an average coach, win some, lose some. I expect nothing to change next season with Bowles at the helm, another mediocre season at best, and with the opponents presented I would wager money on a losing season with Bowles at the helm.

Just bought tickets, merch, hotel and parking for Welcome to Rockville. Going to use the money I spend on 4 games of Buc’s tickets, food/beverages, merchandise and parking for my family of 4 to see Guns and Roses and Foo Fighters headline Thursday and Friday’s lineup. Also get to see Staind, Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, and Alice Cooper.
Thank you Glazer’s for helping me make that decision. Todd Bowles is a mediocre coach who will never win a Super Bowl.
The Glazers can choose to support Todd Bowles and pay him, just as I can refuse to support and pay thousands of dollars of my hard earned money on a mediocre to sub par product.
I’m not the only one who will not be going to games this next season.

If people think that not going to games, like a boycott will help, well that is a mind set from back in the blackout days when JBF used to run a bus to Lee Roy Selmon’s in Fort Myers to watch blacked out Buc games. The Glazers know that they will have 2 sell outs with Pittsburgh and Green Bay coming to town and if Minnesota is any good, that will have a lot of people in purple in the seats. Plus, a lot of people who complain about opposing fans in the stands probably sold their tickets for a profit to Philly, Niner or New England fan last year. Also, the Bucs have 9 home games which means it is a good bet that one of those games will be in Germany as the Glazers love to give up a home game for a sell out across the pond. I think retaining Bowles is a mistake, but the Glazers are still going to make coin, even if Todd’s ineptitude craters the team and we go back to the days of Perkins and Leeman Bennet where a bad season was 2-14 and the norm was 5-11 or 6-10 with a couple of wins over bad Detroit and Green Bay teams being the highlight of the season. Under Bowlesin 2026, 6 wins will be a reach. Tough day to be a Buc fan if the fishwrap report is true.

It might be time for new ownership, they got lucky with Gruden taking Tony Dungy’s team to the Superbowl. 19 years later and a half a million losses later, they made a huge move for Brady and he took us to the Superbowl. In 4 years, coaching in the weakest division in the NFC, Todd is 2 games over 500. With our Offensive weapons in a Offensive driven league. We have a defensive coach that has proven his blitz pkgs don’t hold up in the must have moments.
I’ll be canceling my club tickets this week, I can’t even give away tickets this year, 26′ will be worse.

Not a jags fan sycophant boot licker….although i am a fan of certain players and coaches…so i wish Cohen the best in the playoffs, but i only wear Bucs colors….just taking a year off from it. Why care for a 3 to 4 win team when i and 95 percent of fans see it coming?
Like i said, they must be setting up for the 2027 draft for a top 3 and getting a qb or serious pass rusher ( edge would def be my move )….so im ok with it, take a year off, come in and watch the boot lickers who root for this coaching indecision complain again and again. They are trying to compare this to the Eagles slide at the end of the 2023 season. They stayed with Soriano and won the Super Bowl the next year. The only difference is in 2022 the Eagles were 14-3 and lost in the Super Bowl. Last year Todd went 10-7 and lost in the first round. Very different!!

Just shows how low our expectations are in Tampa. John Harbaugh makes playoffs 6 of last 8 years with 3 playoff wins in that time, a trip to AFC Championship and revolving OC. And they fire him because he had an 8-9 season by a missed 44 yard field goal.
I like Todd Bowles but as a Head Coach, he is below mid. As a defensive scheme architecture, he is out of date. His bend then snap in crunch time defense is excruciatingly frustrating. His ceiling is 10-7 and maybe a wild-card round win. We’ll just keep poaching a revolving door of Rams and 49ers OC and QB coaches with no stability on offense. Sucks… Time to be Jacksonville fan.

I was at the first bucs preseason game I was there for their first game, their first win, first playoff game in the cold rain to lose 9-0 to the Rams. I have remained a fan from the start through everything. No more.
I am out of town for work but when I return I will pack all of my jerseys and hats, along with many memories into a box and put them in the attic. Not hiring Coen last year was a mistake, keeping Bowles after the disgrace this past season was is malpractice.
I have followed this site near daily for years, sorry but I am done – I have better things to do with my time than waste them on a team with no accountability, and an apparent complete disinterest in their supporters.
I will check in from time to time as I genuinely love and appreciate this site. Joes, thank you for all of the good memories and information you have provided.

Just amazing… at least Hugh “make them pay for their game balls and sodas” Culverhouse had an excuse for ducking. These tools they call the Glazers have no excuse. Even Ray Charles can see through this feces fest. Whats the point of keeping a coach who will be gone in 365 days because his defensive genius only works against Roast Beef University and without Bakers early heroics this season would’ve won maybe 5 games. Who would come be a coordinator for a sitting duck coach? If this is about tanking? Why? We can develop a qb, a defensive pass rush and only have flash in the pan running backs. There is way too much cozy surrounding ownership and management in my opinion AND if I didnt know better, I’d say this is leading up to a possible relocation when the Bucs lease is up in 2028. We were 8-9 which doesn’t sound that terrible until someone tells you we were 6-2 at the bye and then proceeded to lose 7 out of our next 8 games, 4 of them being against the league’s bottom dwellers and damn near lost to another one in the Cardinals. On the other hand, the Ravens started the year 1-5 with tons of injuries including their MVP quarterback missing half the season. Despite that, the were 7-3 in their last 10 games.

Remember losing to backups Mitch Trabisky, Jacoby Brissett (Cleveland), Gardner Minshew and Cooper Rush. It’s hard to fathom that Bowles survived after what we just witnessed this past season and the mediocrity the previous 3 seasons. Regardless of what OC, DC, coaching changes are made, Bowles is still the head coach, and he is as stubborn as a mule. Much like past coaches who refuse to allow players to play to their strengths, adjust, and admit when their schemes are no longer working, they end up in The Coaches’ Abyss and are only thought of again, when you for example think, “Hey, I wonder what Mike Martz is up to,” and you Google them. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the Bucs’ owners. Wow.

I am not a Bowels hater, he just is not a good NFL head coach.
He has also been in charge of this defense for years and the defense is the main problem with the Bucs. If we were decent on defense we would be 11-6 and in the playoffs, even with Baker and our bad OC.

Nah, the fans are usually, just like a lot of our players, all talk and no action. I do not agree with this decision, however, I’m not and will never be a bandwagon guy. I’m not jumping from the pirate ship EVER. I WILL, just like I taught my son, always be loyal to my team, no matter what.
I believe if we can get a new OC and DC, and convince Todd to take a lesser role in the defense and allow someone else to make the defensive adjustments, then we might just be alright.
But the worst decision we could make, maybe even worse than retaining Bowles, would be to keep Grizzard aboard the ship. If he stays, we will have another lackluster year, and possibly miss the playoffs again.
And for all the Baker haters, there’s not a QB out there that would fix this offense with it being ran the way it currently is. So please stop bringing up the QB play, like it was the most detrimental thing to hurt this team. The offense just needs an OC that is willing to risk it for the biscuit and quit being so damn predictable. GO BUCS!!!

I just cancelled my Sunday ticket for next year. I know the $480.00 is meaningless to the Bucs organization but I won’t throw my money away when the organization has given up. When you are afraid to kick to the opposing team or to attempt a single pass at the end of a half – you are playing scared.
When you decide to retain a coach that has lead the team to ever worsening results, you are telling the fans that you aren’t as hungry as other franchises. I was in the stadium for many of those losing games in 1976 and 1977. I love this team but won’t be watching until ownership demonstrate they care as much as I have for 50 years. It didn’t take long for the Brady effect to be washed away. What a shame.

@ Gman – You expect a “State of the Franchise” interview, about what what went wrong, and WHAT will be DONE about it in order to FIX-IT. While, stating what THEIR PLAN IS going forward, & HOW are they going to accomplish it. WHY maintaining the status quo They Felt, was the way to go!? WHY would we as “FANS” have ANY amount of ‘confidence’ in THIS CURRENT GROUP (including THEM, when we’ve already seen with our own eyes)… WHY/HOW DO THEY!? I mean, hell… THAT is the least they could do. Old Arthur Blank sure did to HIS FANS. Just continuing to “Hide-Out” will NOT get it done. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Not even close.

What coaching changes could he possibly make that are coming to get us to the NFC championship game? NO assistants or talented coordinators are going to want to coach in Tampa knowing Bowles is a wounded duck and they could be out looking for jobs after next season!

We had to endure a very bad team that lost 8 or 9 games in a row. Only one decent game all season (seahawk game). Now we have no playoffs. Now we are saddled yet again with the worst coach in the entire 32 team league. He aint worth 5 bucks! Now we have nothing to look forward too. Yea I’m out. The Glazers are cheap AF. No way am I on board with this sht coach. 31 other teams out there.

Melvin, Aaron Glenn is still HC of the Jets but at least they have some draft picks after trading away their only starting caliber players to Indy and the Cowboys. Aaron Glenn seems like a Bowles clone to me in his stubborness but they did beat the ATL, juist no one else in a long time. Is Tampa Bay now NY Jet south or are the Jets now Tampa Bay north??????

With all the smoke around the team and Bowles I think it’s damning that they have not said themselves or had Licht come out and say that Bowles will be the coach of the team next year. I think we are still in wait and see mode.

USFbucs this is all conjecture. One report from one reporter who says he spoke to the HC does not make this to be the actual truth just what the coach and reporter currently believe. However, the Glazers may keep the HC and if it goes south than blow the whole thing up for 2027 like the ATL is doing this year.

The irony of this statement, is that the last winning season the Jets had they went 10-6 in 2015 and guess who was the coach?

I will still follow the Bucs this next year. Might be disappointing, might not be. They still should make more changes to the coaching staff, and hire a good DC. Bowles has done better than many of his predecessors, so all this crying is likely just a waste of time. If the Bucs fail to produce this next year, then it should be time to usher Bowles to the door. I am by no means a Bowles hater, just a realist.

Just found this out…thought for sure he woulda been canned. Really rubbed me the wrong way when he blamed the players for poor play instead of taking responsibility.
