It Is Not That Bad (Yet)

January 5th, 2026

Can’t compare 2025 to 2011.

It’s a gloomy Monday for Bucs fans, maybe the worst since the end of the 2019 season. Understandable since that is the last time the Bucs were not preparing for a playoff game.

As bad as this season circled the drain after the bye — some sadistic Bucs fans are salivating, waiting to find out who will pay the price for such a collapse — it isn’t The Lost Decade.

What a brutal, brutal stretch of Bucs history that was.

For example: Last night when #NFLTwitter was filled with the news that the Dixie Chicks surprisingly fired Raheem Morris after his team won its last four games but lost in a tiebreaker to Carolina for a playoff berth, Joe took to Twitter to type up why that move was surprising.

A follower replied he was not surprised — that he remembered how bad Raheem was with the Bucs. Raheem actually was a mixed bag with the Bucs.

Raheem’s first year was a disaster. Joe is still stunned when folks tell Joe that Raheem was in no danger of getting canned after the 2009 season. What were they watching?

Then in 2010, Raheem and the Bucs shocked the world, with Josh Freeman (!) becoming a budding star quarterback and the Bucs winning 10 games. But they lost a wild card tiebreaker berth to the Packers who ended up winning the Super Bowl.

(In a December home game against the Lions, Kellen Winslow was absolutely robbed of a touchdown on a phantom offensive pass interference call, wiping out a fourth-quarter touchdown. The Bucs settled for a field goal and ended up losing in overtime.)

The next year, reality hit. After beginning 4-2, the Bucs collapsed losing their last 10 games. Raheem was fired the day after the regular season.

Yeah, that season was bad. In fact, it was one of the worst NFL seasons this century if you go by the stats from Rich Cimini of BSPN.

@RichCimini: An eye opener: The Jets trailed by double digits for 53.1% of their offensive plays this season, the highest pct by any team this century. The only other teams at 50% or higher are the 2011 Bucs (50.5%) and the 2000 Cardinals (50.0%). Via ESPN Research.

Just think of that: With squirrely Freeman and Raheem Morris, the Bucs’ offense trailed by double-digits for over half of the offense’s snaps.

That is beyond disgusting!

So maybe Joe’s Twitter follower was right? Maybe Raheem is a worse coach than we realized?

And while this just completed season had an awful ending, it isn’t the Lost Decade. Yet.

Bucs were two plays away from 10 wins. This fan base is too full of losers. Maybe the team will finally move to Orlando after 2028 when the Citrus Bowl is completely re-built for an NFL team.

  2. SB~LV šŸˆ Says:

We have bigger problems than replaying Buccaneers history!
    Clean house GM on down!

  3. Freddy PA Moxie Says:

The defense is broken. It doesn’t make sense to bring in a DC when Todd is the defensive guru. Therefore, Todd has to go. I hate to say it (like many of the people in the comments) but Todd has got to go.

There is no legitimate future with him.

  4. JustOneGame Says:

The good news is we slaughtered that Jets team this year by a whopping 2 points!

  5. Freddy PA Moxie Says:

  6. It's Corn Says:

My biggest problem with Bowles is how he repeatedly lied to the press, and the fans by extension (which are the customers). Chris Godwin’s wife had to call him out on it, for pete sake.

And you are either honest or you’re not. If he was doing it to protect players let’s say, then why wouldn’t he tell lies to players to protect his position coaches?

  7. JustOneGame Says:

ā€œThis fan base is full of losersā€ says the guy who apparently accepts losing….

  8. Ander Says:

Yeah 2011 was the worst ive ever seen

  9. BPBucsfan Says:

Kevin Stefanski out @ Cleveland. To bad he won’t be able to be a choice for us, as we’ll be entering year 5 of the Bowles dynasty.

  10. Bee Says:

The fanbase are losers? Lol…no, the leadership are losers.

It boils down to how Bowles coached down the stretch and how Baker played down the stretch. If they would’ve done better for at least one of the games the Bucs lost then they would be in the playoffs.

But nope, the Bucs have choke artists as leaders. And rest assured, if Bowles or Baker remain the results will be the same next season.

  11. Rusty Shackleford Says:

1986 was the worst. You DMF “fans” know nothing about history.

  14. Pelsbuc61 Says:

No need to revisit bad Bucs history. Us fans are living it now. Glazers need to clean house. Any average DC and OC could do better. Draft all defense and guards. Get some real LBs in free agency. Not that complicated. Instead GM Licht gives Zyon tons of $$$.

  15. Razorramone Says:

I was there for that Winslow TD. Still pissed about it.

  16. mikeinlutz Says:

Browns just fired their coach, are we next!!!

  17. DRob Says:

That game vs the lions was the kne where we had ronde barber man to man on Megatron. Lol we had no chance.

  18. FootBall1 Says:

Actually, with ATL winning their last four I thought Bowles would be fired and Morris would save his job. Well can’t disagree ATL has talent and was a weird team this year. Well then look at the Bucs who were even more bizzarre. I think we all believed the defense was suspect, especially the edge and MLB postions, but the offense, well I think we all thought Man they are going to make up for it. Still bizzarre, getting all those receivers back and then no offense, no defense!!.
Anyway, while not being a Bowles hater, still think he had no talent on defense, I don’t see how he keeps his job. With that said my concern if we don’t pick the right coach will we see a continued downward spiral? Does Evans stay with a new Coach, new offense. He to me would be a huge loss . We have seen what happens to this team with him out. I surely hope we don’t return to the lost decade!

  19. HC Grover Says:

    Is he gone yet?

  20. BrianBucs Says:

Let’s stick to our present day Bucs business.
Come on Glazers make the big changes we need.
    FIRE BOWLES!!!!!!!

  21. Jmarkbuc Says:

ā€œ sadistic Bucs fans are salivating, waiting to find out who will pay the price for such a collapseā€

This is a mischaracterization. Buc fans want a GM and a coach who are competent. That’s not sadistic.

When someone is incompetent and has a track record of collapsing every year, along with drafting ā€œsuperior athletesā€ who can’t play football at a professional level, it’s not unreasonable.

This coach and GM have a proven track record. It’s not good.

Happy 50th anniversary! This season’s turned out to be a true Buccaneer book to 1976.

  22. SB~LV šŸˆ Says:

    🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

This roster is not that tempting for a top notch head coach candidate!
At the end of the day the Glazers are left holding the bag for their inaction a year ago!

  23. kirk Says:

Bowles is/should be done here. If he stays, hire a DC and a new OC. The special teams coach should be packing his bags. Enough is enough with the laid back coaching style. I believe the players lost confidence in Bowles to call a good defensive game plan. Hire a new aggressive offensive coordinator. We got the dogs, but lack a killer instinct. Time to change.

  24. Hodad Says:

If the Glazers haven’t fired Todd yet they probably won’t. That’s ok. Go Jags.

  25. SteveK Says:

Glazers fired their kickball coach in Man U. Now what?

  26. Jmarkbuc Says:

  27. ocala Says:

Fire Bowles. It is that simple. This is not a team that needs some fine tuning. The head coach is one if not the worst in the NFL.

  28. Fanofdabucs Says:

Please fire Bowles and bring in Kevin S and his DC!! Now! Problems fixed

  29. Jmarkbuc Says:

    SBLV

Not sure the Jags or Bears looked super attractive last year either, but look what was accomplished with coaches who know what they are doing and how to lead.

  30. buc4evr Says:

While I want both Bowles and Licht gone, at the very minimum the Bucs have to hire a good DC and a proven OC. Grizzard cant stay the guy is not an NFL quality OC and the window is closing. I’d even take Gruden as a replacement OC.

  31. PC Says:

If Bowles stays, what OC/DC would come here with a coach who may get launched after another mediocre to below 500 season?

  32. Bosch Says:

The Bucs lost those last 10 games by an average margin of 17.

Despite being canned, the Falcons’ version of Raheemer is vastly improved over the younger version.

  33. BayouBullet Says:

After 50 years I have one foot out the door…other foot is just waiting for team to announce Todd is returning. Thank God I don’t have to go far…Coen and the Jacksonville Jaguars are just up the road.

  34. Allen Lofton Says:

The Bucs extended Todd Bowles contract for three years in 2025. With that done and numerous injuries on both sides of the Bucs, the Glazers will probably not fire Todd Bowles.

They are not desperate for a Super bowl like the Falcons are.

We should have a definitive answer today from the Glazer family. If Todd Bowles stays the expectations will intensify in 2026. The continuing saga plays on.

  35. Joe Says:

Not sure the Jags or Bears looked super attractive last year either

Each had a quarterback. If job comes with having a first-round pick quarterback, it’s attractive. It’s always about the quarterback. Don’t have a quarterback? Better get one quick or whoever is the head coach will be sh!tcanned. Not if, but will.

  36. K Says:

Good news, the Glazers just fired the head coach for their soccer team. They’re in the firing mood!

  37. Smarter than Joe Says:

With Todd this fanbase has NO HOPE

Without Todd, there is some hope

    Give the fans some hope

  38. Orange Republic Says:

Assuming whole coaching staff got fired in Atlanta, early favorite for Buc’s OC Zac Robinson is available should Girz have to walk the plank.

  39. Faspro Says:

Bowles got extended for another three years, he will stay until 2028…

  40. OLDSCHOOL1976 Says:

If Todd was ā€œjustā€ the DC he would have been let go last year or before end of this season. Why in the world would you keep him as HC ? Rah is a good cheerleader but below average HC. Remember at the beginning of the season Falcons were going to win the division hands down! Oops. Not sure I can handle watching this mess next season if Todd is still here. Glazers, do the right thing and request Todd retire.

  41. buddhaboy Says:

Go get Harbaugh or Mike Tomlin.

  42. Faspro Says:

Todd Bowles received a multi-year contract extension with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in June 2025, securing him as head coach through the 2028 season, alongside General Manager Jason Licht. The extension reflects the team’s success under their leadership, including multiple NFC South titles and playoff appearances, and was announced by the team as part of their commitment to continuity.

  43. JoeyJoeStein Says:

ā€œRust Shakfordā€ notorious for molesting coma victims and becoming orgasmic

  44. DS Says:

The silence is loud at OBP I think bowlers is gone, I think he resigns some kind of way and the glazers settle with a payout. The fact that no news has came out endorsing him something is up

  45. bristolgeez Says:

Having dragged my sorry a$$ out to LA for the Rams debacle and then watched a spectacular collapse against teams that most consider deadbeats, it beggars belief that Bowles will have another year. Losing the home games to the Saints & Falcons was unforgiveable.
If anyone can explain what Toilet did to earn an extension, please tell me. I just can’t think he was so well regarded that other teams were sniffing around and that prompted the idiot ownership to tie him down to an extension. At best he’s mediocre. At worst, a complete buffoon who keeps telling us he’s a defensive guru.

  46. BucfaninMi Says:

Stefanski is available. Do it Glazer

  47. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Joe

I thought Baker was the be all, end all?

In any event, with proper coaching he wasn’t bad. He’s at least good enough to be a bridge.

  48. Dom Says:

I don’t think it’s fair to judge Raheem based on his coaching in Tampa. He should have never been a HC that early in his career. It didn’t help that he had a very immature locker room too. I thought he got a raw deal from Atlanta. They played really well down the stretch and they started to turn it around on defense. I think they got the most sacks in a single season in franchise history. I’d welcome him back as a DC

  49. Aceofaerospace Says:

What time is the Lovie Bowels firing press conference again?

  50. ToesOnTheLine!!! Says:

I read a (fake news?) article that seemed to insinuate the relationship between Stefanski and Baker while they were together in Cleveland was ā€œstrainedā€, so even though I think he’d be a major upgrade as an OC over Grizz, I don’t think he’s the guy for the Bucs (OC or HC) while Baker is our QB.

Back to the content of the article, I have to give Blank some credit, he wasn’t worried about the negative optics of jettisoning an underperforming HC and GM regardless of their skin color. He brought in an outside consultant to review the performance of both, and I’m guessing the recommendation was an upgrade was needed if they want to hoist the Lombardi in Atlanta. Rah is a solid position coach and a subpar HC…kind of like Todd Bowles (and many other former coordinators turned head coach). Falcons weren’t going to waste any more precious time d(!)cking around with mediocrity.

  51. 44cain Says:

Would be a monumental mistake to retain Bowles. He lost. Lost his locker room, lost games to inferior opponents .. front office will regret keeping him another season…

The Glazers got their head coaches mixed up. Seriously, why would that come as a surprise? Those who are born into wealth can afford to be stupid.

  58. Mhystc Says:

Bucs are keeping Bowles aren’t they..

  59. Buddha Says:

Quit with the gloom and doom! This is a good franchise with an outstanding GM. We are about to get out of cap hell. Our year was devastated with injuries to keep players and the poor defensive coaching staff as well as a rookie play caller. We still have a lot of good players. A year and our team are comparable to the 49ers who finished last in their division last year. With Mauch and Bredeson returning We have a chance to be a top five offense next year. We beat three teams that are in the playoffs. Should be an exciting off-season. We don’t want any self-fulfilling prophecies of Doom and gloom.

  62. MelvinJunior Says:

Stafanski would be a great hire for the Bucs, but there’s no way he would choose THEM over ATL. Given that he’s already FIRED BAKER ONCE, I’m sure he’d be very excited about THAT. And, ATL is a better job with a much more YOUNG AND TALENTED Roster, with a lot more ā€˜high-end’ TALENT on BOTH-sides of the ball. Bigger market, better owner, and blah, blah, blah. Baker is an EXACT ā€˜smaller’ version of Bo Nix. Both VERY ā€˜UGLY’ and INCONSISTENT usually, for large chunks of a game, BUT Nix is A LOT stronger ATHLETE, and a lot more CLUTCH in the 4th-Quarter, and at the end of ballgames. It’s like he morphs into a top-5/10 QB. Looks like Baker is about WASHED. He doesn’t have anymore than maybe, a couple of two or three decent seasons left in him. At Best.

  63. Bee Says:

This Bucs job isnt as attractive as some of you might think it is. The Bucs don’t have a definite answer at QB and the roster doesn’t have an abundance of talent.

    Good luck Glazers!

  64. OrlandoBucFan Says:

I thought Raheem’s firing was premature. I was not impressed with him as the Buccaneer’s head coach, but it appeared he was building a solid team in Atlanta. Their pass rush certainly improved, and their offense certainly has talent. With Arthur Blank’s advancing age, he wants to win now, so I get it. The Glazers need to have that urgency.

  65. OLDSCHOOL1976 Says:

Perhaps Glazers should ask why we paid 40 million to 2 receivers that we don’t throw the ball to? Then they will understand the financial mistakes of this GM combined with this HC.

  66. Warrenfb12 Says:

I think the collapse is worse. Much better veteran team.

  67. adam from ny Says:

roster isn’t that attractive because guys are just bored here…

    only in tampa…only in tampa

  68. Patrick Says:

Raheem was completely unqualified to be a head coach in 2009. He had never even been a coordinator yet at that time. When you fire a someone like Gruden, you replace him with someone at least at his level. No, they decided to fire him when he had years left on his contract and went the budget route with Raheem, whose secondary played an integral role in our defensive collapse during that last month of the 2008 season. As much as I loved Monte (RIP), him announcing his departure right when we were 9-3 completely broke this team and we were never the same after that.

The abrupt release of Derrick Brooks, along with 4 of our other key players, in February 2009, was dreadful to go through. You let someone like Brooks leave on his own terms and at least stay around for the young players. The way him and Dominik handled it was classless. Reliving it while watching the Raising the Flags documentary recently has it fresh on my mind again.

2009 was the disaster it was because they hired Morris and Dominik who flat out dismantled our team. They never intended to win that year. That season right there marked the beginning of the lost era, when we kept hearing at that time that they were ā€œbuilding through the draftā€, ā€œtrying to build a lasting contenderā€, lol. That regime set us back so many years.

Lesson learned: do not overreact and clean house/tear everything down like they did in 2009. I’m not a fan of Bowles, but he did have some success here. Do not fire him only to replace him with a cheap hire or someone who will make things even worse like in 2009

    The list is long.

  72. MelvinJunior Says:

I don’t believe there will be ANY potential new HC taking THIS JOB banking his career on ā€œBAKERā€ being HIS GUY, or as him the big franchise savior. NO potential ā€˜top-tier’ HC will have ANY intentions or delusions of building HIS TEAM around ā€œBaker Mayfield.ā€ It’s just not going to happen. They’ll say all the right things to the media during YEAR-1, since they are kinda STUCK with him and without there being very many much better options for NOW, but that’ll be IT. You would be a complete IDIOT and FOOL to even ā€˜think’ for a MINUTE, that would be a viable option in the future. They will want to move on. And, the Bucs FO would be ignorant to even have such DELUSIONS in the first place.

None of HIS ā€˜decisions’ EVER made any SENSE. And, that is WHY they had to hire HIM ā€œSPECIALISTS,ā€ & etc. Literally. NOTHING EVER added up. NONE of his explanations. ANYTHING. Everything was just a HUGE contradiction. HIS TEAMS were rarely ever prepared or READY to play! Period. He was STUBBORN and failed to ADJUST. The list is very very loooong. SERIOUSLY, you could go on literally, ALL. DAY. LONG. Just HORRIBLE. Anyone could SEE THAT. I mean, come on… It’s ABSURD to defend HIM. It is pathetic to be an apologist AND to just accept SUCH mediocrity, in THE ā€˜historically’ WEAKEST Division (4-YEARS RUNNING), in NFL HISTORY. I DON’T. If I had MY CHOICE, Dan Lanning would be at the top of MY-LIST. If, I were a STUD GM that knew how to get sh!t DONE and CLOSE. BUT, Stafanski would be about THE BEST ā€˜option’ that THIS current-GM and FO could hope for. And, you canNOT say that HE is NOT a good HC. He’s only a 2X ā€œNFL COACH OF THE YEAR.ā€ You CAN’T even come close to judging him fairly, given the situation of The BROWNS FO and Ownership.

  103. Mhystc Says:

Lol it’s funny people saying hire a DC.. as long Bowles in head coach he’s not giving up calling the defense.. he’s said it multiple times. He needs to go.

  104. BigBucJoe Says:

You are what your record says you are. Bowles is average as a head coach (and worse than that as a DC). We can do better.

  105. MelvinJunior Says:

Well, if THOSE TWO will be BACK… Then, I will be DONE. Moving on from THIS TRAIN-WRECK of a franchise. šŸ’Æ

  106. MelvinJunior Says:

Will absolutely NOT support this BS any longer. Losing Cohen should have been ENOUGH, but THIS will be the FINAL nail-in-the-coffin. Cya-Clowns.

  107. Mort Says:

If you’re calling for Licht to be fired, you’re a buffoon. He’s literally one of the best in the league. You “fans” are the ones who need to walk the plank.

  108. Bosch Says:

Lakeland, who are you to judge what does and does not constitute a proper fan? You just need to be the kind of Bucs fan you want to be and respect those that want to be a Bucs fan is their own way.

  109. DRob Says:

Wild take here. Give me daboll. The talent was the problem on that team not the coaching.

  110. SteveK Says:

3rd and 28; 4th and 14- those were the plays that lost my faith in Bowles.

  111. Freddy PA Moxie Says:

Todd is going to retire today. Hence the scheduled presser at 3:30 or whenever it is.

Glazers are going to let him go out on his terms.

The search began days, if not weeks, ago.

  112. Alexandre Nascimento Says:

If Atlanta knew he was getting fired, they should have lost all the games they won to finish the season. It’s bad business to get worst drat picks…

  113. Gipper Says:

Jim Schwartz is available to coach now that Stefanski is gone in Cleveland. Schwartz knows what he is doing and would bring along one of his assistants to coach Bucs defense. Bucs offense should be fine next year once injured guards return. Bucs played most of the year with 3rd string, jvarsity, O linemen. Watching Detroit, Rams and other teams give their QB’s time to look downfield is a luxury Baker didn’t have this year. Fix the Oline and Bucs offense returns to 2024 levels.

  114. JustOneGame Says:

Awww Rusty, looks like you spent to much time with ā€œthat uncleā€ when you were a child.

  115. Mhystc Says:

Freddy coaches have scheduled end of the year press conferences every year.. it’s not for certain he’s retiring.. we can only hope.

  116. MelvinJunior Says:

I mean, you can CLEARLY SEE that you are being passed by ALL THREE of your DIVISION OPPONENTS, and ā€œYOUR ANSWERā€ is to bring back BOTH Lickt AND Bowles, and just continue on with DOING. THE. EXACT. SAME. THING. Aight, gotcha! Makes a whole lot of sense. So, now I understand. WEAK. SCARED. PATHETIC. The ā€œBuddy-Buddyā€ System will survive. So, ATL has ā€˜higher’ STANDARDS THEN, than the Bucs Ownership! Nice to know. It’s all just SO ABSURD. It’s A SHAME.

  117. AlstottNumber1 Says:

All this talk of a lost decade being a past issue is hilarious.

We are now four years into a lost half decade should Bowles return.

The fact that Bowles is being allowed to speak to the media today is proof he’s not going anywhere.

The Glazers fired the coach for Man U today.

We see where their priorities are really placed. The Bucs fans have officially been told to pound sand.

  118. IrishTony Says:

He’s going to resign. It will be a mutual agreement and/or they’ll make some sort of soft statement like ā€œwe talked to Todd and we’ve amicably decided to go in a different direction.ā€ ā€œTodd will remain as a consultant.ā€

  119. IrishTony Says:

I always thought he would resign or retire. Never felt like they were going to fire him.

  120. MelvinJunior Says:

@ Mort Says: ā€œIf you’re calling for Licht to be fired, you’re a buffoon. He’s literally one of the best in the league. You ā€œfansā€ are the ones who need to walk the plank.ā€

NO. You just keep on believing that PROPAGANDA THEN. You BIG ā€œPropaganda BELIEVER.ā€ LoL. Give HIM A ā€˜LIFETIME’ PASS for BRADY changing the CULTURE of this entire franchise. 93-104. 12-YEARS. Think FOR YOURSELF. The math doesn’t MATH. You CAN’T defend even ONE-MOVE over the past almost 2-YEARS. NOT ONE.

  121. Mhystc Says:

Bowles probably said I’ll coach one more year then retire.. he just signed an extension. Doubt he retires.. wish he would though.

  122. MelvinJunior Says:

I ā€˜REAL’ strong GM/FO and owner NEVER would’ve LOST Cohen, in the first place. It was such an EASY, Obvious Decision.

  123. budlikedthebucarros Says:

    its 11 on monday waiting

  124. Tucker Says:

What do the bucs gain by keeping bowles time management is still awful gametime decisions have been trash the defense which he was in charge of was trash he can’t help out a struggling oc what’s the point of him at hc the players may like him maybe but they definitely are not inspired by him they have just been going through the motions in a trash scheme that plays try not to lose zone that just ends up losing anyway. Another losing season in a bad division that he was on top of what’s the point of being on top of a trash heap if you are not competing against good teams and he isn’t a top the trash heap now he is on the bottom of a bad division.

  125. Weebs10 Says:

Ok AlstottNumber1 calling this a lost half decade is wildly dramatic. This is our first year missing the playoffs since 2019. I want Bowles gone too but cut the dramatics dude.

  126. Mhystc Says:

Bowles defensive scheme is outdated and his ego is too big to change it. He needs to go.

  127. MelvinJunior Says:

@ Alexandre Nascimento Says: ā€œIf Atlanta knew he was getting fired, they should have lost all the games they won to finish the season. It’s bad business to get worst drat picksā€¦ā€

Prob the straw that broke the camels back on his firing… There was NO WAY Old Artie was ever going to ask for a ā€œBlack HCā€ to purposefully LOSE GAMES after what happened in Miami with Brian Flores. Hell, Art is NOT getting sued LoL.šŸ’Æ

  128. Tye Says:

The SHAME of being a Bucs fan these days is REAL….
Will just intensify greatly if they retain their ‘buddy’ because his resume doesn’t scream deserving!

  129. Lokog Says:

Its purple monday why hasn’t bowels been fired yet i guess them glazer boys don’t have a pair and are ok with losing

  130. MelvinJunior Says:

@ AlstottNumber1 SAYS: ā€œWe see where their priorities are really placed. The Bucs fans have officially been told to pound sand.ā€

šŸ’Æ that is exactly right! If they bring back both of those CLOWNS, then that is EXACTLY WTF They’re SAYING. šŸ’Æ

  131. SB~LV šŸˆ Says:

Evans and David are SHOT !
They have no place on next year’s roster.
I love them both and everything they have done for the franchise!
    Move On .Bucs !
    David has lost his quicks
Evan’s has scared hamstrings plus his age

  132. Mhystc Says:

Also love Bruce Arians .. one of the best coaches. Got us a SB. But there’s reports he’s in Licht ear and the glazers telling them to retain his buddy Bowles. His loyalty to mediocrity needs to stop. If that’s the case.. love you Arians but you can go also.

  133. Williams to House Says:

Anybody who says they are no longer a fan if we keep Bowles is a Johnny Come Lately Bandwagon jumping fan, who never suffered 0-26 and all the misery that came after. Of course Bowles should be fired, but Licht is one of the best GMs in the league. I believe at the beginning of the season, we had more drafted players on our roster than any other NFL team. Because this is a salary cap league success is primarily borne out of a combination of homegrown talent and a few key free agents. It obviously didn’t work out this season but that is on the coaching staff.
Jason Licht and staff also navigated us through the post Brady cap hell while still making the playoffs. Licht would be on the GM market for less than hour if the Bucs fired him.
The Glazers have brought us two Superbowls from the ashes of the worst franchise in all of professional sports. While I won’t be happy if Bowles survives, I will still trust in the fact that they remain committed to winning championships.

  134. Lightningvinny1 Says:

The Glazers finally fired the coach!!! Yes it’s true it is reported that ownership has FIRED the coach!!!! Way to go Glazers ,, I didn’t think you had it in you!!!!
——————- it’s true , but it’s the Manchester United Coach that got canned

  135. MelvinJunior Says:

@ IrishTony Says: ā€œI always thought he would resign or retire. Never felt like they were going to fire him.ā€

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah… Whatever. It’s all the same. Just a technicality. TRUST ME… IF, seriously given any other real option, HE WOULD DEFINITELY NOT do so, all on his own. It would NOT BE ā€˜HIS’ (true) Choice. PLEASE. You know this.

  136. MadMax Says:

Is he gone yet? If it wasnt for last minute comebacks in 4 of those games, then we’re just a 4 win team….

  137. BucsfaninOregon Says:

Joe, there is clearly a list of topics that Buc fans want now:

    1. Exit plans for Management.

    2. Speculation on new management.

    3. Potential draft picks.

    Period.

  138. HC Grover Says:

Tampa Bay Bunchabums….Rotten throughout. Owners unable to make right moves.

  139. David Says:

It is real simple, if they do not fire HC/DC, OC, ST Coach… I guarantee they’ll be a lot less people at the games next year.
    The people have had enough.

I have defended Todd Bowles for years because the players like him and his defensive schemes can be great at times but… They can no longer stop anyone from passing on them when it counts. Even in the win, they gave up an 4th annd 8! Deep over the middle. It is absurd.

There is no one person to blame though. You can argue the offense, lost them two games this year, the defense lost them two games this year, the special teams lost them two games this year.

The OC- I was giving him the benefit of the doubt for a while because of all the injuries but the more and more they got players back, the more and more they die nothing. First drive has been great most of the time, but is he incapable of adjusting once a defense adjusts slightly?
Does he have any idea on how to use the middle of the field in a passing game? And maybe we shouldn’t have 6 wide receiver screens called every game. Ridiculous.

And the fact that this special teamā€˜s coach has had a job beyond Halloween is a travesty

  140. Gipper Says:

Right after Todd Bowles gets fired, Joe’s please fire MelvinJunior, RodMunch, Bee, WarrenBrooksLoser,et al.

  141. HC Grover Says:

Fans are on the run…..heading for the parking lot. Not looking back.

  142. Mhystc Says:

Raiders fired Pete Carroll 1 year into a 3 year deal. Don’t be scared glazers.. fire Bowles.

  143. HC Grover Says:

David, even the radio fans like me are on the run w/o Gene to make the awful team sound like fun no matter how bad they got.

  144. MikeBuc Says:

    @Bee Says:

The fanbase are losers? Lol…no, the leadership are losers.

    —————-

    No the evidence is in

Fact – fans like you that can’t move on and admit the obvious about trask

Fact – Most our home games don’t even sound like home games and we are often out numbered in our own stadium

  145. yucboy Says:

Manchester United fired their coach today

  146. MelvinJunior Says:

@ Williams to House – more ā€˜drafted players’ still left on a roster doesn’t mean JACK, if they CAN’T PLAY. So, continue ā€˜BELIEVING-IN’ the propaganda all you want. DON’T believe your OWN EYES, and your own COMMON SENSE. Again… 93-104. 12-YEARS. It says EVERYTHING. NO GM on another team would EVER get by with that. And, THAT is in literally, THE ā€˜weakest’ DIVISION (4-years running), in NFL HISTORY. They were talking about it on ESPN RADIO last night, about just HOW EMBARRASSING this division HAS BEEN, and for THIS LONG. Wake UP. It’s all a BIG BUNCHA ā€œSmoke & Mirrors.ā€

  147. HC Grover Says:

I predicted they keep Bowles…..We will know today….he will retire or be retained.

  148. MelvinJunior Says:

@ David Says: ā€œ Does he have any idea on how to use the middle of the field in a passing game? And maybe we shouldn’t have 6 wide receiver screens called every game. Ridiculous.ā€

    Yep. RIDICULOUS. šŸ’Æ

  149. SB~LV šŸˆ Says:

    Preach on !
    Melvin Jr
Jason Lite has been skating on thin ice his whole career
He managed to RENT a Super Bowl with Tom Brady and Bruce Arians
Bruce has done more damage than good
    Leftwich and Bowels
    🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

  150. dumboldguy Says:

    Thought experiment:

Would any team needing a new HC would trade a #1 draft pick for Liam Coen? Yes 100%.

Would any team needing a new HC take Todd Bowles if he also came with a #1 draft pick? 100% no.

This organization snafu’d it so hard last year it’s almost infathomable.

  151. Tampa Tom Says:

Fire Bowels now . The South is getting stronger and we can’t hang with this coach Boycott Bucs if Bowels stays .

  152. Joe in Michigan Says:

    Lakeland Says:
    January 5th, 2026 at 10:19 am

Go cheer on another team, we don’t need you

    ^^^^^^^^^^^
This must be the great TJ Rives, the Bucs don’t need any fans that aren’t Bowles loyalists, huh? Hahahahahahaha

  153. Patrick Says:

If Bowles stays as head coach, does anyone think he’ll be humble enough to resign as defensive coordinator and hire someone else to take over? I doubt it. We need a new defensive coordinator, offensive coordinator and a new special teams coach.

  154. jimmy Says:

it’s pretty bad. grizzard should be gone by the 3:30 presser. so should McGaughey.

  155. Buccintimeforchanges Says:

Only this loser fanbase woukd call a GM with .449 winning %…outstanding.

How the f is that outstanding after 12 years and 103 losses?

You people have Stockholm syndrome. Addicted to losing.

Brady is the only reason we won a SB recently.

Livht us a career loser without Tom Brady

  156. Mhystc Says:

    Patrick

Definitely not. His ego is too big to give up calling the defense.

  157. Rusty Shackleford Says:

Get rid of the Clyde Christenson pop gun offensive coordinator. We need a dynamic offensive mind with new ideas.

My choice: Jay Gruden. Not Jon. Jay. The coaching brains in the family.

  158. Joe in Michigan Says:

I predicted they keep Bowles…..We will know today….he will retire or be retained.
    ^^^^^^^^

If so, the Bucs will need some Edge Rushers who are good in coverage to fit Bowles special needs defense.

  159. SB~LV šŸˆ Says:

    Stockholm syndrome
    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
    So true!
    Clean house starting!
I realize that we can’t get new owners but that would be good too…
    Management by committee insures mediocrity!
    Sell the team please!

  160. SB~LV šŸˆ Says:

    Ronde Barber as General Manager
    Is the only hope!

  161. Mhystc Says:

Licht and Bowles will be at the combine.. looking at the edge rushers, seeing which ones they can drop into coverage next year.

  162. Rusty Shackleford Says:

Bucs need an edge rusher like a Trey Hendricks type. We need tight end depth and offensive line depth. We need to do something about the linebackers even if David comes back. I want Mike Evans to come back on a team/cap friendly deal.

Take away one or two plays and we would be 10-7. The Falcons game we gave away as did the Patriots and Eagles.

We are not that far away.

This was 2004 all over again. 2026 can be 2005.

  163. Rusty Shackleford Says:

Here are the players NOT coming back (probably):

Rachad White (wants to be a starter and he deserves a payday)
Cade Otton (mis-used and not nearly as versatile as Cam Brate was)
Jamel Dean (injured all the time)
Sir Voccea Dennis (worst LB on the team; he cost us the Saints game)
    Sterling Shepard (locker room cancer)
    Payne Durham (sucks)
Reddick (12 million flushed down the toilet for nothing)
McCollum (Regressed from an above average starter to a bum)

    Who else ?

  164. Simeon4HOF Says:

So lots going on in NFL into this morning.
So wtf are the Bucs doing???
Getting ready to coach it harder and play it smarter in 2026??

  165. SB~LV šŸˆ Says:

Neither Evans or David have the legs for a 17 game season and that’s just to get to the postseason.
No room for sentimental roster spots taking the spot for future starters

  166. Simeon4HOF Says:

Glazers dont like that buyout I suppose, well they shouldn’t have locked into a playoff cusp ceiling

  167. Simeon4HOF Says:

    Meanwhile in Tampa, nonchalant crickets

  168. JoeyJoeStein Says:

ā€œ In their last nine games the Bucs defense ranked 31st in scoring defense, 30th in total defense, 27th in pass defense. Dead last in Red Zone defense allowing 21 scores in 22 trips including 16 TDs!

During a critical 4 game stretch starting in week 13 The Bucs were 0-4 vs teams under .500. One win would have won the division. They blew a 28-14 Lead to the Falcons with 10 minutes to playā€

  169. Vinicius Says:

    Has Bowles been fired yet?

  170. AlstottNumber1 Says:

Without Brady all three responsible parties would be gone.

Arians, Bowles, Licht. They are nothing without TB12.

Bowles ruined the chance for a repeat with his lousy scheme.

Then handed Brady his only losing season.

Glazers said heck yeah, we love failure. Sign that man to an extension!

  171. Jmarkbuc Says:

    SBLV

Ronde is an Arians lackey. Love him as a player, not so much as manager.

  172. Simeon4HOF Says:

We need a new DC, one way or another

  173. Patrick Says:

    Coordinator candidates for HC:

    Mike LaFleur

    Klint Kubiak

    Experienced veteran candidates for HC:

    Mike McCarthy

Mike Tomlin (if he leaves Pittsburgh)

John Harbaugh (if he leaves Baltimore)

If the Bucs had a decent Head Coach, their record would be better. You are what your record is, the rest are excuses that mean nothing.

  176. HC Grover Says:

Bucs will host ‘She is Football’ and keep Bowzo

  177. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

ā€œWatching Detroit, Rams and other teams give their QB’s time to look downfield is a luxury Baker didn’t have this year.ā€œ

I thank the Lord daily for not allowing me to be this naive or on another man’s nuts so bad it makes me say dumb stuff like this

  178. SteveK Says:

If retained, the fans need to know what the hell is Bowles and Licht’s plan to address pass rusher? It can’t be draft, be Licht can’t draft good one, we need a proven edge rusher to be the #1 guy. Also, media should ask why Licht didn’t make a trade when the roster needed it.

  179. HeavyE Says:

Does anyone know, what time the press conference is set for? Thanks.

  180. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

ā€œRachad White (wants to be a starter and he deserves a payday)ā€

White has already made it known he’s not coming back, so now we’ll need to replace him because if we go into 2026 with Bucky as our lead RB I’m going to lose my sh*t

  181. MelvinJunior Says:

@ Gipper Says: ā€œRight after Todd Bowles gets fired, Joe’s please fire MelvinJunior, RodMunch, Bee, WarrenBrooksLoser,et al.ā€

For WHAT… Speaking THE TRUTH. I know, I know… TRUTH HURTS sometimes, when you are a MORON and can’t handle-it. Maybe, JL proves me wrong… Doubtful, but whatever. There has been NOBODY ā€˜on this site’ who has been MORE SPOT-ON, and that has ā€˜called’ everything more CORRECT than myself. EVERY. SINGLE. MOVE. Throughout at LEAST the past 2+YEARS. Have NOT MISSED a ONE. THE ONLY one that YOU and ā€œGoneGatorā€ (or whatever TF) ā€˜tried’ (TRIED) ā€˜digging up’ on me through the ā€˜archives’ (LoL) was on EE, and it was NOT even what I said, or what you THOUGHT I said… I honestly, distill don’t understand wtf y’all were trying to say!?

I said BEFORE the draft, that I’d be GOOD with a WR and EE as My ā€˜SECOND’ choice… That is IF Jalon Walker was already long gone. I said, that ANYTIME you have the ā€˜opportunity’ to GET the #1-WR ā€˜on your board’ at #19, then you have to at least, consider it. Was just not MY FIRST-choice. AND, I said that HE would’ve been a 3rd or 4th-Round TALENT, had he came-out in the 2024 DRAFT (and THIS was what you all were attacking me on LoL right after EE had ā€˜a couple’ of good games – like y’all WERE ā€˜WAITING’ to FINALLY, be able to ā€˜get me’ on something… Hell, anything LoL). And, guess what… HE would’ve been.

Even, URBAN FREAKING MEYER – only ā€˜someone’ who LOVES ā€˜the kid’ AND knows MORE about HIM and ā€œOhio State FOOTBALL,ā€ than anyone else – Said, the exact same thing. I had him being right there with JMAC. The only difference (they were BOTH ā€˜injured’ during that season)… EE had OHIO STATE’s NIL $$$ and a LOADED Roster returning TOGETHER, for a shot at a ā€˜national’ title. JMAC lost HIS HC to Alabama, HIS QB and most all of the talent on his roster. PLUS, the Washington NIL was nothing even close to OSU’s, and HE prob needed the $$$$.

All of OUR pre-draft ā€˜projections’ were based off of ā€˜misinformation’ to begin with, since Jason LICKT LIED to us ALL, after handing Chris Godwin all that $$$$… THEN drafted HIS ā€˜Replacement’ (EE) to cover his ass. He told us (just by the ā€˜re-signing’ of him alone), that Godwin was just fine… Hell, great! Anyway… So, yeah… go ahead and ā€˜fire me’ then, IF you don’t like someone who has always been RIGHT about literally, EVERY-FREAKING-THING. So go digging through all the ā€˜archives’ AGAIN, THEN… Cause, I welcome it!!!! That was literally, the ONLY THING you ā€˜THOUGHT’ you had found on me Hahahah. I think that YOU and ā€œGone Gatorā€ (or whatever), are actually the SAME individual, in all honesty. LoL.

  182. BucsFan81 Says:

are you guys ready for another year of Bowles and Licht. Cause that is what you are getting just minus the talent. LVD going to retire and Evans will probably go play for Houston where he is from. You know a team with a real defense. We will be last in the NFC South next year with 5 wins unless a miracle happens and they flush the Toilet Bowl.

  183. BucsFanSince1996 Says:

Including Atlanta, at least 4 NFL teams have fired their HC so far. Las Vegas, Arizona, & Cleveland.

  184. Jerry Says:

    Raiders have fired Pete Carroll

  185. unbelievable Says:

I’m sorry but this season is the biggest collapse in Bucs history. WTF are you guys even talking about?

To go from 6-2 to 8-9 is unacceptable.

WE FINISHED THE SEASON GOING 2-7, AND MORE THAN HALF OF THOSE LOSSES CAME AGAINST COMPLETE BOTTOM FEEDERS!!!

The fact that anyone wants to try to make excuses for it just shows pathetically low the standards are for this organization.

“Well hey guys, we’re not as bad as maybe the worst team in history, so at least there’s that!”

    GTFO.

    FIRE TODD BOWLES NOW!

  186. Jack Sparrow Says:

    BREAKING NEWS……. Bowles was given a 5 year extension……

  187. Bee Says:

    MikeBuc

You mentioned Trask, not me, so how have I not moved on? Lmao

    Gipper

What’s wrong with our opinions, especially when they contain logic and facts? If Baker is half as good as you think he is the Bucs would be in the playoffs. That’s a fact. Baker is so bad at throwing the football his coaches won’t let him throw. That’s a fact.

His own coaches dont trust him, if they did this wouldn’t be a run first offense with all these WRs.

Face it sir, Baker’s days are numbered. He’s going into the 4th season on his 4th team and there’s still questions about how good he is. Not a good sign for a vet QB.

  188. Told You Says:

So everyone else is prepared to move on from mediocrity but the Glazers. Look, you all pay the stupid tax for extending him when it was obvious to everyone that the division was his ceiling. But don’t make us pay your tax too.

  189. Rusty Shackleford Says:

Get Jay Gruden as offensive coordinator.

  190. Eckwood Says:

how many treated for and our free players were on each 10 win teams the Buck ever had……….. Licht isn’t going to draft success , it can be a big part but Free Agents and Traded for players and coaches have been a larger part of the skilled position success of the Bucs !! if asked, I don’t think Light knows this answer !! He does good things, but he has got a big scoop of buffoon to his operations!! after all, he is the one ultimately responsible for letting Cohen go to the jags and not reassigning Bowles !! that says a lot about J Licht !!

  191. BPBucsfan Says:

Hoping to see Houston wipe out the Steelers next week. Ravens need to look for PK after that shank last night. Today’s press conference will just be more of the same, have to try harder, look for talent with all those draft picks we have.

  192. Chris S Says:

Bowles should not have gotten a contract extension last year, certainly not a multi-year one. The Glazers would apparently prefer to stink up the field another year, blaming anyone other than Todd, in order to not buy him out and replace him.

I think we can chalk up a lot of the offensive problems to injuries for most of the year, but it was unforgivable in the first Carolina game to shove the run down Carolina’s throat when all the star receivers were healthy. Bad enough to tell everyone that was the plan, but even worse to actually do it.

We’re rightfully calling out the defensive problems, which should not be there given Bowles’ defensive pedigree. Nothing more needs to be said there, but let’s talk about what nobody else is. Special teams. Tampa failed spectacularly, across the board, on the vast majority of special teams plays. Busted coverage on kickoffs, fumbles on returns, blocked punts, muffed punts, blocked field goals. McGaughey has to be at the top of the list of fired coaches.

    ——-

Knowing this team with its luck and their offseason conditioning, any big player we pick up will be injured within the first 3 weeks and struggle to get back to form the rest of the year. So it won’t matter anyway. We’ve seen the movie before.

  196. HC Grover Says:

Bowles is the perfect coach to implement ‘She is Football’ in to the NFL! First team with Female Players on the field. You heard it here first. Yes he can. Look at the Buc home page for She is FOOTBALL.

  197. Canabuc Says:

I have to say I agree with a lot of points that Melvin Junior has brought up.

I used to be a big Jason licht fan, but I have to say no after watching this past season and lack of moves that he made in free agency and looking back at some prior drafts and I realize that we have all really overrated him. Yes, you can look at the stat about the percentage of drafted players that are on the roster still but then you have to look at who those players are..

It would seem as if our GM over values his draft picks likely out of bias.
We re-signed Zyon McCollum, who clearly had a terrible season has regressed and did not need to be re-signed at that time. We gave a huge contract to Antoine Winfield Junior, who while always having been a good safety and had a spectacular year in 2023 has also not played anywhere close to his contract numbers.

Now let’s look at his high-level draft picks over the last few seasons:

Last year, Graham Barton at centre has so far been a dud. The centre drafted around after him and last year’s draft has clearly outperformed him. Had we drafted differently last year say trading up a few spots we could have gotten a quality edge rusher like Jared verse who went a few spots ahead of us. Then drafted the centre that the Steelers took who has way outplay Graham Barton. Instead, we drafted Braswell in the second round who looks lost and was another waste of a pic. So there are are two top draft pics from 2024 that likely would be backups on most teams.

Then we have no further than to look at JTS who granted was a late first round pick but was a bust. Logan Hall, who basically was our replacement for William Gholston who was essentially a late first round pick even though he was traded down to pick 33. Basically, a fourth round talent, taken way too early.

This year’s draft we went for Ebuka, who, while I love the player, was not considered a position of need, even though the litany of injuries we had ended up proving otherwise. We passed on Pierce who was a physical specimen and freak, but because of some concerns of character flaws we gloss over him because light prefers to have a buccaneer man and yet I think what happened this year was we had no players that had that attitude dawg mentality, which is part of why we had this lull in the second half. Pierce goes on to have 10 1/2 sacks as a rookie!

Yes, our GM has made some good draft pics over the last few years. I will give him credit for that but truthfully, I think any one of us without any jam experience could go into a draft and certainly in the first three or four rounds be able to pick players who end up becoming very good just by following the concensus recommendations.

I honestly think better drafting and a different head coach are needed to turn this team around.

I have been a Buccaneers fan for 25 years, but I’m putting my fandom on hold until Todd bowles is gone as I cannot live another season watching a pathetic team play that is outmatched outcoached no fire under them…

  198. MelvinJunior Says:

@ dumboldguy Says: ā€œThought experiment. Would any team needing a new HC would trade a #1 draft pick for Liam Coen? Yes 100%.

Would any team needing a new HC take Todd Bowles if he also came with a #1 draft pick? 100% no.

This organization snafu’d it so hard last year it’s almost unfathomable.ā€

Nothing could be more true than THIS. The JAGS would NOT take THREE 1sr-PICKS for Cohen right now, and WHO could blame them. The ONLY WAY, is if Cohen was trying to FORCE his way out anyway… And, they would definitely NOT be happy about it.

  199. Megoat13 Says:

If by chance Bowles keeps his job I hope management makes him completely overhaul the coaching staff and give up play calling. Probably won’t happen, I’m a lifelong Bucs fan and them keeping everything status quo would not surprise me in the least

    Jets roster is so bad

  202. Bee Says:

    Bowles might stay. Why?

The Bucs isn’t an attractive job.

Unimpressive roster that just got the last coach fired with a mid round draft pick in the first round. Add to the fact that who knows if the Glazers will spend money in FA.

Plus Baker is being paid $42 million next season and if a new coaching wants a new QB that will be a roadblock.

So the plan is to tank. This team needs a 2-3 win season from Bowles and Baker so they can get their millions, the Bucs get their high draft picks and everyone can start over in 2027.

But the Bucs need to lose more before they win and if retained, Bowles and Baker will get it done.

So, WHAT THEN… They’re just going to EAT THE $35-MILLION+ in FULLY-GUARANTEED $$$$$ that they literally, JUST HANDED HIM (on a 3-YEAR/$48-MILLION DEAL)… REALLY!? Cause, he’s now virtually ā€˜UN-TRADE-ABLE’ at THAT PRICE. That’s YOUR ā€œHOF GMā€ there for ya… So, you can Thank HIM for that! A very raw, low-IQ player… Extended him EARLY, when he didn’t have to. What do you think he’d get if it were RIGHT NOW!? I’m guessing, a whoooole lot LESS. Definitely NOT $35-MIL GUARANTEED CASH MONEY.

He didn’t sign Cousins to that stupid contract, or get Penix hurt. But he was able develop an offense around Bijan Robinson and get a rookie DE to notch 10 sacks.

    Artie is delusional.

I actually said JL should trade-up a couple of picks to get ahead of Baltimore, IF Linderbaum slipped a little, and was still there FOR THE TAKING. But, LICKT as usual sat on his hands, missed, and traded BACK into the 2nd-Round to take HALL. Inexcusable. But, that’s what HE DOES. He’s STUCK inside of his own head with all of his ā€œBuc Manā€ character BS. He’s just weak, and scared, period. It is a VERY flawed system. It’s really absurd. And, even though, I’ve NEVER like him… I decided to give him a fresh new ā€˜fair’ and unbiased look again, AFTER we signed Brady!!!! Then, I’ll have to say, that I DID ā€˜buy into’ a little bit of the propaganda at what everyone was preaching. But, I always, was still skeptical. Until NOW, after these past TWO-SEASONS… It canNOT BE DENIED. It is what it is. And, he is what HE IS. It’s inarguable. You just have to wake up and OPEN YOUR EYES, & THINK. 93-104. 12-YEARS. That’s a loooong time for ANY GM in this league. Especially, well… You already know.

Great Point. I don’t understand the Stefanski HATE!? 2X NFL ā€œCoach of the Year!ā€ And, in THAT DIVISION… Historically, over the past 20-YEARS, year in and year out, one of THE ā€˜toughest’ Divisions in THE NFL. Ohhhhh, yeahhhhh… That’s Right! It’s the ā€œBAKER BOISā€ HahahahaHah Lmao.

  220. MelvinJunior Says:

  221. dumboldguy Says:

    re: Graham Barton.

He is not a mauler. He’s a finesse player who excelled last year because Coen is a genius and revamped our run game scheme to fit the talent we had. Barton is great at moving off a double-team and effective blocks at the next level. He’s good at pulling and traps. He’s excellent in the screen game.

Losing Coen plus losing two plus guards next to him nullified his game. He can’t move off the double team to the next level because our practice squad guards were getting mauled.

  222. dumboldguy Says:

Another point that needs to be addressed is the time for the Rooney rule has passed. No ownership is ever going to say man we can win with that coach but I don’t like black people. If that were the case 25 years ago it’s absolutely zero the case now.

Some poor black coordinator in this league is going to get 10 pro-forma interviews this season. If I’m him I’m saying make the interview in some expensive vacation destination and pick up my expenses and my family comes along too.

  223. Pittbucfan Says:

  226. vadertime Says:

Glazers seem to be content with mediocrity. Going forward if the retain Todd bowls, Tampa will remain where they are. There is no Tom Brady to bail them out. Baker tries, but he’s also Reckless. I agree with someone else on this thread about firing everybody from the GM down. Even the sports pundits are surprised at how badly the Bucks have sucked with all the talent on the team. This speaks to coaching. You can’t fire the whole team. Go Bucks. It’s 2026 now and it’s a new year for New Beginning. Please root for my canes on Thursday night. Cheers.

  230. Canabuc Says:

My opinion is that Graham Barton is mediocre at best, but he was made looking worse because of the guards surrounding him. This team needs a major overhaul and we should get rid of the guys who clearly don’t have the right attitude..

Would trade AWJ and Mccollum for draft picks.
