Bruce Arians Is Not In-Studio With The Pat McAfee Show Today; Where Is He?

January 6th, 2026

Where is Bruce Arians?

UPDATED: 2:02 p.m. So every Tuesday through the 2025 football season, Bucco Bruce Arians, senior advisor to Bucs general manager Jason Licht, has been an in-studio guest on The Pat McAfee Show on ESPN.

However, Arians is not there today.

Where is he?

Joe brings this up because legions of Buccaneers fans are searching for crumbs that could shed light on the pending/looming Team Glazer decision on the future of Todd Bowles as head coach.

Bowles himself said yesterday that he doesn’t have confirmation from ownership that he’s the Tampa Bay head coach for 2026, and that a meeting with him and Team Glazer will happen soon.

Is it possible Arians is in Tampa today, or en route, to discuss the future of his handpicked successor and many assistant coaches from his regime that remain on Bowles’ staff? Joe is simply throwing out the hypothetical.

Arians is a fiercely loyal guy and it’s well known, per Arians, that he hates Zoom calls and believes he needs to look someone in the eye when an important subject is on the table.

UPDATED: 2:02 p.m. — Arians was a call-in guest late in McAfee’s show, not in-studio.

He wasn’t asked directly if Bowles will return, but Arians talkes about Bowles fixing things in 2026.

“Todd’s going to right the ship and Jason Licht’s going to get another great draft,” Arians said. “They’re going to reload; they don’t have to rebuild.”

  2. DrunkInYbor Says:

Hopefully unretiring amd becoming our head coach.

  3. Nicholas Carlson Says:

Does he want to coach again?

  4. Rbuc86 Says:

    He’s on the show now

  5. D-Rome Says:

We need more of that in this world.

  6. Warren Brooks Lynch Says:

BA is 72 years old, he’s at wherever the good Lord blesses him to be.

  7. FootBall1 Says:

The Plot thickens, yes makes sense the Bucs , Licht and the Glazzers would call him in.
Maybe he comes back? maybe he runs the offense under Todd?. Definately believe he is involved . He is loyal to the Bucs. Can see him taking over the offense. He loves Baker. That may incline the Bucs to keep Bowles, just a thought

  8. TheBucsAnthem Says:

Well know that the Glazers are “El Cheapos” and they don’t like paying big money for top tier Head Coaches….

I don’t see any good coming in the future either

  9. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

“Titans scheduled to interview Chiefs OC Matt Nagy on Thursday”

We need to hire him before they do!

  10. PanhandleBuc Says:

I just tuned in to see if BA had any Bucs nuggets to pass along too…

I really hope he busy preparing/searching for a new HC! He screwed us with this one though…

  11. Ander Says:

he is probably trying to make a case for his boy bowles

  12. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    TheBucsAnthem Says:
“Well know that the Glazers are “El Cheapos” and they don’t like paying big money for top tier Head Coaches….”

That is incredible misleading. This story is about Bruce Arians, who they literally paid big money for.

Seriously, can’t you at least say things that are actually true?

  13. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    ^^^^^^^^^

There are A LOT worse owners than the Glazers…You must not have been a fan in the Hugh Culverhouse years, or heard of Dan Snyder, Old Man Irsay, etc.

  15. Kenny Says:

Vacation I guess. Hes definitely not firing Todd Bowles. Also, I dont think McAfee has any interest in interviewing him anymore…. Why would he?

  16. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    PanhandleBuc Says:
“I really hope he busy preparing/searching for a new HC! He screwed us with this one though…”

A lot of people (me included) feel he forced Bowles on us…and he did…but maybe it goes deeper than that. Maybe Bowles made it a condition of him becoming the DC for Arians?

  17. Fanofdabucs Says:

We need to hurry up and hire Nagy?? Why?? Because he called plays with Andy Reid and Mahomes? Unless hes bringing Andy and Patrick with him, no thanks.

  18. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Also, Joe, it could be he only agreed to being on the show during the regular season.

  19. Aqualung Says:

I wish BA would’ve gotten on the practice field during the Raheemian-like swoon collapse and given his protege’ an earfull and butt-full of pwerformance feedback for the lax way he obviously conducted his useless practices.

  20. Bnasty25 Says:

Watch Pat’s show and Arians was just on and said Bowles will right the ship and Licht will have another good draft. We get Todd another year…… DAMN

  21. Geno711 Says:

he came on the show later.

  22. Steven007 Says:

Anthem, enough people already said it, but the joes themselves obliterated your stupid conjecture in a post earlier today.

  23. Colin in Canada Says:

Bowles isn’t getting fired and I’m good with that.

  24. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Fanofdabucs Says:
“We need to hurry up and hire Nagy?? Why?? Because he called plays with Andy Reid and Mahomes? Unless hes bringing Andy and Patrick with him, no thanks.”

Um, because he has a winning record. Because he has experience (5 years as Chiefs OC), because he helps Mahomes develop? Because he has head coaching experience? Because he called his plays as OC…instead being a stooge for Reid?

    Plenty of reasons.

  25. KennyJr Says:

    he’s on the show!!!!!!!!!!!!

  26. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Guess you jumped the gun on that one, Joe, lol.

  27. Obvious Says:

If you believe Todd is in way over his head and deserves to be released, as I do, Arians presence in that building is counter productive.

  28. BayouBullet Says:

My prediction is Todd stays but tons of fans leave

  29. Mhystc Says:

We been knew this. It was reported that Bowles was contacting Licht and glazers to keep Bowles already.. nothing new. Arians is loyal is his friends even if they aren’t good coaches.

  30. HC Grover Says:

    Noooooo!

  31. Thisisouryear!!!! Says:

I loved Arians. He’s what a head coach should be- someone who oversees his coordinators and steps in when they need direction I really like Todd but he’s a DC, not a manager. Hearing about 1/2 speed practices and he didn’t change anything. Seeing the problems and not changing anything—Huge Problem!!!

  32. HC Grover Says:

Just hire Gruden simple 1 year contract and clean out the barn.

  33. Mhystc Says:

Bruce Arians just said on the Pat show, that Todd will right the ship this year. I’m 90% sure Bowles is coming back.. glazers might as well say it. Stop wasting fans time.

  34. N3Buc Says:

I really need a thumbs up/thumbs down on a lot of the comments. I’m the guy that says send Bowles on his way and Arians can follow too. I know, thumbs down from a lot of people here.

  35. AlstottNumber1 Says:

Great. More wasted Sundays. And no SB appearances.

At least we’ll have plenty of comedic fodder with Bowles around.

And I’ll be betting against the Bucs and clean up like I did this season.

Easy money with Bowles at the helm.

    36-36

  36. BucsFan81 Says:

Maybe the owners told Arians we are already paying you. You’re going to be the head coach and Bowles back to Defensive coordinator or we are firing Bowles. Either that or maybe they will keep Bowles as head coach and make Arians the offensive coordinator.

  37. Christopher Schiefen Says:

It’s confusing he’s going to bat so hard for Todd because Todd helped run Bruce’s protege out of the league in Leftwich. Plus if Byron & Todd both fail, Bruce looks way better as Super Bowl champ, especially after Tom maybe threw him overboard.

  38. BrianBucs Says:

I’m sure that Arians is doing everything he can to get the Glazers to keep his good buddy Bowles.
Thanks for dumping Bowles on us Bruce

  39. ‘74 Bucs Fan Says:

The arrow is pointing down and fans are pissed. You’re really going to keep things status quo? Terrible decision. Enjoy half empty games and more away fans than home fans. National embarrassment.

  40. Sal Volatile Says:

It looks to me like the owners need any and all the help they can get. They may have called in the cavalry to assist in fighting their way out of the box canyon. Please please please BA help us out. What do we do ?

  41. Mike S Says:

I’m so over the “bring back Gruden!” thing. Gruden is old. And everyone seems to forget that other than winning a Super Bow his first year with Dungy’s team, he was a .500 coach. About the same as Bowles. The Legend Of Jon Gruden is out of hand with Bucs fans.

    It’s like “brng back Ditka!”

  42. Mhystc Says:

If Arians is the reason Bowles is staying. Then thy can get rid of him too.. I love BA, won if a SB.. but he shouldn’t have say so, just because he’s loyal to Todd.. Todd isn’t cut out to be a coach.

  43. Dre_bucsfan Says:

@joebucsfan kliff, Kingsbury and Baker Mayfield reunion??? Man o man would that be wonderful

  44. University of Seffner Says:

Bruce Arians said that he thinks we’re gonna be alright with Bowles and Licht.
This sucks… gonna have to prepare for a tough 2026 and “We gotta communicate better on Defense” again

  45. Vince Says:

What’s the odds that they keep Bowles but require new OC and take DC from Bowles and make him hire one.

  46. Bryan Says:

Time to get rid of BA he got us a superbowl but now he is just a name collecting a paycheck guy also thought Byron Leftwich was head coach material

  47. Rusty Shackleford Says:

Please fire the fans and Joe, too.

  48. Darin Says:

If bowles stays on tne ship im staying on land a while longer. Can’t handle it anymore.

  49. Sal Volatile Says:

If it falls apart it will most likely fall completely apart. Many will be running for the exits looking for jobs. If the owners hire a young guy it may prove difficult to assemble a new staff. They may need BA to convince Baker to stay. If Baker says I want to be traded…….

  50. BucsFan81 Says:

I saw that the commanders fired Kingsbury. He is not a bad offensive coordinator they had a lot of injuries on that team. Definitely would take him over Grizz who was way over his head this season. Still want Bowles gone though cause that defense is not going to fix it self with Bowles here.

  51. wlliam Says:

an away goes HOPE for 2026 don the drain

  52. Jerseybuc Says:

Hopefully helping his boy pack up his shiiiii

  53. adam from ny Says:

Elwood: It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark… and we’re wearing sunglasses.

    Jake: Hit it.

  56. MelvinJunior Says:

Lmao. B.A. sitting there on McAfee saying that HE’s still SHOCKED that Byron Leftwich isn’t being mentioned for a HC’ing Job… Said it is a CRIME. That, HE is THE GREATEST ‘offensive mind’ that HE has EVER been around LoL. Annnndd, HE would’ve NEVER taken the TAMPA JOB in the first place, had “Old Lefty” not agreed to being his OC. Also, for the kicker… It was during that BS/NO BS segment that they do on every Tuesday. Hahahahah

  57. Greg-theORIGINALone Says:

Glasers are going to screw this opportunity away and stick everyone with another useless year for Bowles to show he has no idea how to be a Head Coach.

  58. PanhandleBuc Says:

Sounds like an extremely loyal person who wants to see their guy succeed no matter what.

It also sounds like Todd will be back and we will revisit this in Jan 2027 when we miss the playoffs AGAIN.

  59. MelvinJunior Says:

@ Colin in Canada Says: “Bowles isn’t getting fired and I’m good with that.”

Of course, YOU would be. You’re Canadian. I wouldn’t Expect anything more than that from you.

  60. SB~LV 🏈 Says:

Maybe his gig is regular season only
Or maybe he’s going to be relieved of his duties!
    Scrape OBP CLEAN!
Ronde for the next General Manager!

  61. Freddy PA Moxie Says:

Bruce–No crap we don’t have to rebuild! We have to fortify a few positions, but that’s different.

Hopefully he called in BEFORE the meeting occurred (assuming it’s today, or tomorrow?).

Glazers, do the right thing, which, incidentally, is the popular thing. That is to move on from a decent coach and a good man.

As BA famously put it, LET’S SEE WHAT’S BEHIND DOOR NUMBER 2!

  62. Buccintimeforchanges Says:

Hope that dinosaurs is getting fired along with Todd and Jason.

    Dinosaurs.

    Extinct. Losers.

  63. Buccintimeforchanges Says:

    Rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic

  64. MelvinJunior Says:

It’s time for this whole “Buddy-Buddy” system to be entirely flushed-down with Bowles. B.A. and ALL of them. They’ve ALL GOTTA GO. I mean, THIS is just stupid. It’s TIME. They’re all OLD, FAT, AND STALE. We need new ideas, new eyes, a new touch, and all brand new LEADERSHIP AND DIRECTION. There has to be a complete total changing of the old guard, to a FRESH NEW MODERN CULTURE. And, this includes the entire ROSTER. Period. End of Story.

  65. Jeff's grandpa Says:

Matt Nagy is a joke only a ass clown like you would think he’s a upgrade over toad

  66. Freddy PA Moxie Says:

    Maybe keep Kevin Carberry?

    Everyone else, you’ll find work.

  67. Told You Says:

Do BA’s hand picked guys are one that puts you to sleep when he talks and couldn’t energize a monkey and a guy that you can’t understand a word he says. Got it. Bruce, you can go too.

  68. Mike Johnson Says:

Bowles is staying guys. They are gonna make him get a DC and a new special teams coordinator. Glazers probably telling Licht to get us a bonafide Pass Rusher and make some treaks to the Defense.

  69. Perimeter Blocker Says:

If they keep him the backlash will be fierce and the ticket sales will plunge even lower. The prices are already out of touch with the average income in Tampa.

  70. deez n Says:

and this is how buc fans treat the people who bought us a superbowl. lmao cant make this up.

  71. Letsbuccingo Says:

Reload not rebuild where have I heard that before!

  72. Ballwasher61 Says:

NOOOOOOO OH HELL NOOOOOO. Love Arians and all he did but we need to get rid of all that holdover and go get a young HC that is his own guy and let him cook, GD

  73. Pewter Power Says:

I don’t ever want hear of BA again. Yea he’ll get his ring of honor moment then he needs to disappear, he’s the reason we’ve been mediocre the last 4 years.

  74. Let em bake Says:

The decision is most likely a function of the light number of offensive coaches available . Grizz may impress next year, now with experience, and a healthy interior .

  75. Dbbuc711 Says:

If Arians was calling in he could have easily done that from 1 Buc. If Bowles is forced to hire DC I don’t doubt he will still want his defense to be used and his play calls.

  76. Stpetematt Says:

I like all of Arians, Bowles, and Licht. Maybe we need a new training staff since injuries to the secondary sunk this team 2 years ago, and to the wide receivers and offensive line *this* year. We’ve got to slow down/stop the injuries! And we need more depth so need to be very active in free agency and trade down in the draft a couple times. Not in the first round, but the 2nd. And maybe 3rd. We need a lot of players and LBers, safeties, and guards are all good in those round ranges. Need edge and DT too.

  77. Southern BucLife Says:

Arians was let go according to Adam Scheftner…..bye bye Bruce !!!

  78. SteveK Says:

Can’t wait to see what pass rusher we acquire? Need to see Licht and Bowles step it up on that position.

  79. LFG Bucs Says:

“Todd’s going to right the ship and Jason Licht’s going to get another great draft,” Arians said. “They’re going to reload; they don’t have to rebuild.”

Ridiculous comments like that should get him fired. If he truly believes that and thinks all is good, then prepare for disappointment as long as the Three Amigos are still around…and it won’t be funny. 😞

  80. MelvinJunior Says:

I don’t care if we stink and miss the playoffs for a season or two, IF as long as I FEEL CONFIDENT in the ‘direction’ of this team’s FUTURE, with knowing that we have the ‘RIGHT’ GM and HC. Gotta go out and get the right GM FIRST. It all starts with your ‘leadership’ at THE TOP. Get that right, then I am totally good with ANY type of rebuild. The “Playoffs” should not be YOUR GOAL as your ceiling. Otherwise you are only wasting your time. I’m not going to just ‘settle’ on that! I mean, if you’re NOT ‘trying’ at a SUPER BOWL, then I don’t know WTF we are even doing!? ALl The top GM’s and teams are TRYING. Hell, they’re TRYING THEIR ASSES OFF. This current “Buddy-Buddy” buncha of Bucs Leadership, is a fricking JOKE. 💯 and I said “full-stop” in my head, so that makes it TRUE now hahah.

  81. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Vince Says:
“What’s the odds that they keep Bowles but require new OC and take DC from Bowles and make him hire one.”

I would be happy with that..except…Bowles has lost the players. How do you come back from that?

And also, I don’t see Bowles being hands-off.

  82. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

MelvinJunior, we have a great GM.

  83. mg Says:

    mediocre will be an improvement

  84. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I still believe Bowles will get fired, personally. Willing to admit I could be wrong though.

  85. miken Says:

“another great draft”… not sure he’s had that many and he certainly hasn’t had as many as he gets credit for.

  86. Big_Buc$ Says:

@MelvinJunior I can’t agree more with your statement. GM has been getting a pass for to long and with the season Tampa just had alot of question should be directed at him as well as Bowles.

  87. Gman Says:

So a story literally about nothing. Lmao.

  88. Chuckys Bucs Says:

I don’t see Bowles going anywhere. He will be asked to let go some staff member that he may not want to let go.

I’m okay with another shot with Bowles with Baker on a contract year.

  89. Allen Lofton Says:

I agree the Bucs will draft well, but Todd Bowles is old school. Change is difficult but needed for the Bucs to grow.

  90. MelvinJunior Says:

@ Freddy PA Moxie Says: “Maybe keep Kevin Carberry?”

And that ‘bean counting’ Greenberg guy! I guess… I’ve always heard that he’s great!? Sounds like he prob is anyway.

  91. NCBuc Says:

For the let’s get rid of Bowels and grab Gruden fans…… There’s not much difference in them besides attitude. Gruden is 117-112 and Bowels is 64-72 as HC. Want to stay mediocre then just keep Bowels. Not a fan of either tbh.

  92. #1bucsfan Says:

I’m not of the crowd that wants to fire Bowles. Get a OC like coen and the offense will be back on track. Defense for his to work he needs that jpp, Shaq type of edge rushers and a suh. Gotta rebuild the dline outside of vea and kancey. Need some ILB too other than that there’s not a lot needed but it’s deff the hardest players to find in a legit pass rusher. ST needs to be upgraded. Blockers , gunners and coaches.

  93. Stpetematt Says:

I see no evidence Arians was let go.

  94. HC Grover Says:

Arians…..NO. He is awful. As bad as Bowzo.

  95. MelvinJunior Says:

@ Big_Buc$ – It’s absolutely mind-blowing the pass HE gets. I honestly, cannot think of EVEN ONE move that he has made (or not made) over about the past 2-YEARS, that I have agreed with, or that HE has been correct on. NOT ONE. It has been HORRIBLE mismanagement, in EVERY phase of “managing” a team. You seriously, could not possibly be ANY WORSE. It’s unbelievable HOW BADDDD he has been. AND, barely even a PEEP from ANYONE!? It makes ZERO SENSE. 93-104. 12-YEARS. He must really know some sh!t and got the goods on SOMEONE.

  96. #1bucsfan Says:

Melv you crazy bro. Jason built a great team. Loaded with players everywhere. He’s one of the better GMs in the game and that is from many nfl sources.

  97. Toddler Bowls Says:

Perhaps he has been coming back to Tampa in order to structure a trade with Jacksonville giving up three number one draft picks (2026, 2027, 2028) in return for coach Liam Cohen.

  98. 813bucboi Says:

    gotta move on from bowles….

the same players will make the team next year…

the same coaches will be coaching the team next year…

bowles will bring in a DC, but bowles will continue to call the defensive plays…

all that equals 9 wins and finishing 2nd in the NFC South

    GO BUCS!!!!

  99. MelvinJunior Says:

“Get a OC like coen and the offense will be back on track”

Hahahahahah, Oh, is THAT ALL!? OK. Hahahah Lmao.

  100. Jeff Says:

He’s getting fired along with Clueless Todd!

  101. Lefty Says:

Coincidence that season ticket holders were prompted to renew via auto pay for 2026 at the beginning of the 2025 season?? Unprecedented!! Hmmmm

  102. Colonel Angus Says:

If Bowles does stay, then Licht is handcuffed to him. We miss the playoffs next year, they all go. I’d rather start the coach search today, but I ain’t a Glazer.

  103. adam from ny Says:

    NCBuc Says:

For the let’s get rid of Bowels and grab Gruden fans…… There’s not much difference in them besides attitude. Gruden is 117-112 and Bowels is 64-72 as HC. Want to stay mediocre then just keep Bowels. Not a fan of either tbh.

    ————

    do the math…then realize…

64-72 equals an average overall record of EXACTLY 8-9 for eight seasons…

    do the math…

dude is an 8-9 coach across the board man……digest that !

  104. adam from ny Says:

gruden is a pretty decent coach….the thing with him is he has good years and decent years…then every once in a while he has a disastrous season…

i think i recall a 4 win year once, and a 5 win year once, while he was with the bucs

  105. MelvinJunior Says:

@ 1bucsfan – YOU are believing EMPTY propaganda on LICKT. From lazy people (like Colin Cowherd) who don’t even ‘follow’ the Bucs, and whom only REPEAT what they are TOLD from the same people who are actually ‘INSIDE’ of One Buc Place. So, they haven’t the FIRST REAL CLUE. It’s total all PROPAGANDA being spewed by the “Buddy-Buddy” System, who ‘THINK’ they are a part of it all. All you have to do is OPEN YOUR DAMN EYES, and use good REASON and just a little Common Froggin SENSE. 93-104. 12-YEARS. Hahahah Great Roster, MY ASS. But, no… YOU just continue WANTING to believe the BS straight from those who are charge! LoL. So, go ahead… KEEP your head buried in the sand. I akready know how YOU vote. When you believe without reason, you can’t be persuaded or convince by reason. It’s EMPTY. You don’t know HOW to ‘think’ for YOURSELF.

  106. Stpetematt Says:

The players make the teams win or lose. Not tackling, being out of position when the correct spot has been shown to you 100 times is a problem. ***Injuries*** ruined both this season and the last. The NFL is a war of attrition, and we need more depth from draft picks and free agency.

  107. View from 132 Says:

Former coaches need to go away. Gruden, Arians… great seasons, but the team needs fresh ideas.

  108. Durango 95 Says:

The Glazers dropped the ball and screwed the fans. Should have made the move last year. They blew it. This fixation that they have with Bowles is resoundingly stupid.

  109. adam from ny Says:

gruden has had 4 good years (10+ wins)

    he’s had 3 bad years (10+ losses)

and all other years were just average……(7 to 9 wins type years)

so he’s average to a little above average at best

  110. adam from ny Says:

    what if:

the glazers made rod munch the new head coach of our tampa bay buccaneers for the 2026 season

    🙂

  111. Whatevs Says:

    Go Jags.

Glasers want to treat the fans like garbage.

    Bye Felicia

  112. Bucs1976 Says:

BA is probably lobbying the Glazer braintrust to hire Byron Leftwich, Eric Bieniemy, Hue Jackson or Raheem Morris for head coach…….

  113. MelvinJunior Says:

@ 1bucsfan – Oh, and by the way, believe it not, but 2-BIG LOCAL Guys actually DID ADMIT-IT just the other day! And, they are about as close and as in-tuned with the BUCS as you can possibly get! And, you could really tell that it just KILLED THEM to have to say it out loud!!!! But, on WDAE just last WEEK… BOTH, Scot Reynalds AND T-Krass SAID, that THIS has Jason Lickt’s ‘Fingertips’ Written ALL OVER IT. So, there’s THAT. From media members, WHO actually DO ‘follow’ the Bucs. Those ‘other types’ YOU are talking about though, could NOT even name much more than just a ‘handful’ of the players currently, on the roster. And, who only ‘REPEAT’ or SPEW what they HEARD BEFORE, or have been TOLD.

  114. BillyBucco Says:

The Glazers are as slow as molasses to make changes.
I understand the grass isn’t always greener, but in this case it absolutely is.
There are so many good players on this team.
It is a very attractive team for a new HC who is offensively minded.
Go get Lincoln Riley or even Kliff Kingsbury.
    That would be a reload.
    Keeping Bowels is foolish!!!!

  115. Eckwood Says:

Arians picked the Bucs to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl just five weeks ago!! tell Arian he loses his life savings if the Bucs dont win the Super Bowl next year and he can choose the coach …….. We all know it would not be Todd. The 100% sold the players and the Bucs fans out when he push bowls on the ownership. Literally, everybody knows this !!
He has a great offensive mind, but he’s only two steps away from being involved in the New York City governmental medeology !! He can be spot on if it affects Bruce, but a rainbow L trd when it affects an organization , fans, and not Bruce. His comments over a month ago couldn’t be more delusionally jock tarded !! I mean, how can you take anybody serious after they would make comments like that, Any knowledgeable Buc fan knew the disarray and the state of this team when he made those delusional statements !! please nobody tried to defend it. He is What he said , delusionally full of sht !!

I would Have Brady sell his stock in the Raiders, bring him in as a minority owner of the Bucs and follow his lead on hiring a GM all the way down. His whole attitude is about nothing but being successful, that’s it, that is all that matters to that guy when it comes to football. You have to want it that bad to do great things and he’s shown he can motivate guys. Not that would happen but you have to give the effort he shows, you’re not always gonna win but it’s the EFFORT, in the front office all the way down. If you don’t have that then GTFO

  117. ocala Says:

As a Bucs fan this is so depressing.

    Fire Bowles!!!

  118. MelvinJunior Says:

@ Southern BucLife Says: “Arians was let go according to Adam Scheftner…..bye bye Bruce !!!”

I don’t know if he was AGAIN, as in right now!? BUT, he sure as hell was just a few years ago, in favor of Todd Bowles. Because, BRADY DEMANDED-IT. Hahahah only just a couple of WEEKS before the draft, too!!!!

  119. Bojim Says:

    Hmmmm

  120. Ballwasher61 Says:

There are some very good, young DC’s out there that would hire, DC’s/OC’s to run their areas of the team but communicate what they want to their respective coordinators. They don’t have to be offensive minded per se.

  121. Newbie Says:

Time to move on from the whole BA thing.. move on from JL and Bowles. Bucs can hit reset without blowing up the roster. Offense needs tweaking but the defense needs an overhaul. Need someone to come in with a smart plan and then execute to get this defensive roster better. Just having competent special teams play, will net more wins next season at the very least.

  122. buccintimeforchanges Says:

Better GM = 45% winning percentage

Our fans are the biggest losers in the league

    SMDH

LOSERS. Why would you accept 45% winning percentage

Are you joking? What type of fan thinks winning 45% of games is ok?

That’s after 12 years and having Brady…he was Mark Dominik part 2 before Brady and he sucks since Brady left.

    STOP MAKING EXCUES YOU LOSERS

  123. MelvinJunior Says:

@ Stpetematt Says: “I like all of Arians, Bowles, and Licht. Maybe we need a new training staff.”

I honestly, do not know WHAT FOR!? For what possible reason… I’m seriously doubting that YOU know THEM personally!? And, yeah, yeah, okayyyy… Just Continue To BLAME EVERYONE ELSE ALWAYS, except or the for THEM, themselves. Makes complete total sense, there. Same thing over and over again, UNTIL you can find or invent the NEXT EXCUSE. Never EVER THEM, though!!!! It’s extremely just odd.

  124. Whatevs Says:

Top 5 Pick in 2027 unless Licht’s trades it away for an injury prone, undersized DL from a D2 school that goes to Todd’s churxh

  125. buccintimeforchanges Says:

Arians, Licht and Todd are STEALING FROM THE POS GLAZERS

STEALING – they are telling them everything is ok. The Glkazers sucks as owners.

Brady came in by luck. No one at OBP had anything to do with Brady’s SB

Brady’s SB. EVery front office person and coach was a passenger on the Brady train. They are all losers before Brady and now after Brady.

    SMDH

  126. MelvinJunior Says:

I think actually, Dominik knows A LOT MORE ‘football-wise’ (& etc.) than JL. Honestly, don’t even think it’s really close. He DEFINITELY comes across as being MUCH MORE impressive and sharp. But, really though, I don’t think you can do much worse THAN LICKT. Hell, I don’t even believe that HE is a ‘REAL’ GM, and is nothing but only a “Yes-Man.” 💯

  127. MelvinJunior Says:

@ Eckwood Says: “ please nobody tried to defend it. He is What he said , delusionally full of sht”

Seriously LoL, they literally ALL started laughing AS SOON as BA got off of the Zoom Call, and started talking ‘under their breath’ (McAfee and ALL OF THEM) and saying, “Yeah, I don’t know about all that there, that he just said there about Todd Bowles and all that, but oh well, anyways, now moving on… Hahahah LMAO.

  128. Les Says:

ARIANS DID THIS TO US SLEEZED HIS GUY IN SO WE COULLD NOT INTERVIEW ANYBODY ELSE . IF HE STAYED BOWLES WILL RELOAD ? THE HE STILL WANTS HIM TO BE COACH AND IS BLIND HIMSELF . HE CAN LEAVE TO .GOOD RIDDENS ! GLAZZEERS NEED TO PROOVE THEY ARE FOOTBALL PEOPLE . THEY REMING ME OF CULVERHOUSE YUCK ! WE DONT NEED ANOTHER CHEAP OWNER .there soccer guys .thstvtells you a lot . There heart is not in it with the bucs or they would have done what the falcons did . Instead they want to keep mediocer

  129. Davenport Says:

Personally, I am sick of Arians. His part-time consulting is not helping at all. Glazers & Licht should end this arrangement ASAP.

  130. buccintimeforchanges Says:

Arians is a problem…JL is a problem…these idiot losers are in the Glazers ears

Brady won a SB. Not Arians. Not Jason Licht.

Those guys are bums and still would be without Brady.

Brady goes to San Fran and these POS would have been fired long ago.

    SMDH. Our fans suck

  131. Stuck with Green Says:

For someone who was good at accountability, it’s really weird how dismissive he is about accountability for his teammates when he’s from a distance. Not sure but how is the BA coaching tree looking nowadays? LOL

  132. Bucnbeers Says:

I just flipped a coin. Todd Bowles is the Buccaneers head coach and DC for 2026.

  133. MelvinJunior Says:

Friggin B.A. says that he received “TWO” CALLS TODAY, and BOTH teams were calling asking about “OFFENSIVE” Coaches… Wonder WHO Those Two Teams Were!? He also SAID that Mike McCarthy should also be a TOP candidate and that IF someone was “SMART” they would bring him back. LoL I hope B.A. stays as farrrrr away as POSSIBLE, from our Bucs. This “Buddy-Buddy” BS has got to GO. It’s already ran it’s course. It’s the PAST. OVER. Time for a NEW-ERA… NEXT.

  134. MelvinJunior Says:

@ buccintimeforchanges Says: “Arians is a problem…JL is a problem…these idiot losers are in the Glazers ears

I just commented BEFORE seeing this… YES. 💯 they are like preprogrammed robot head-nodders, without ANY real thoughts of THEIR OWN. LoL 93-104.

  135. Usfbucs Says:

Maybe BA called in because he was in Tampa telling Bowles he just needs to be HC and that he needs to bring in a DC, OC, and ST coach.

  136. Ugo Says:

Matt Nagy? No thanks, have you already forgotten what a Matt Nagy led team looks like? Going from mediocre coach to slightly less mediocre coach isn’t the solution when you have Harbaugh available.

I like Todd Bowles as a person but hate him as a head coach. I do not fancy Harbaugh as a person but do think he is a very good coach

  137. Tucker Says:

He picked the current staff what will having him rebuild the staff accomplish. Players are not buying what he is selling are they getting rid of most the players too?

  138. BradyGronkFan Says:

Licht and Co did a great job building a contender whereby Brady wanted to come to TB. Also BA was the right coach for Brady. But BA screwed Brady’s last year by shoving Bowles in as coach. As an advisor, he’s also been in the Glazers ear to keep Bowles. So yeah, BA has been part of the problem since he quit as coach.

  139. BradyGronkFan Says:

BTW, I can’t see Bowles sticking around with Harbaugh available..

The Bucs are still a very talented and well run organization. If they go hard after Harbaugh, they’ll get him.

Mayfield is a top 10, maybe top 5, with talented players and a top coach. Mediocre at best, when he doesn’t have it.

  140. Stpetematt Says:

Brady ruined Brady’s last year. Not Bowles. The trio of Arians, Bowles, and Licht won a Super Bowl together and that is majorly because we had a good enough team to entice Brady to come here. No matter what other people try to argue, that’s still true and Bowles ingenious gameplan for the Super Bowl made it *much* easier to win. Both are true and additional reasons to keep Bowles. Injuries have derailed the team. We need them to stop.

  141. Stpetematt Says:

Thinking about this last night I had a dream we traded down in the 2nd round of the draft and still picked in the round, then traded down twice in the third to end up with 4 fourth rounders. That would be marvelous!

  142. Will Says:

Great respect for Coach Arians, but come on now please stop withe the bromance for Bowles, and Leftwich. After awhile BA it gets old, because everyone knows you stick either way with them. You should have been honest, and helped the owners to see that he’s a bad business decision.
