“We Don’t Like Them. They Don’t Like Us.”

December 3rd, 2025

The slimy Saints are a miserable two-win team in the midst of a seven-game showcase of horrendous football on the offensive side of the ball.

They did manage to beat the Panthers 17-7 four weeks ago, so they are capable — at least on defense.

Mostly, though, the Saints are good at being classless.

“We don’t like them. They don’t like us,” Baker Mayfield said today of the Bucs’ division rival.

Mayfieild is all business when it comes to Sunday.

“They play hard,” Mayfield said. “You can see it on the tape based on the other games they’ve played since we’ve played them last. It shows. So we know what to expect. Record doesn’t indicate how physical this match up is going to be, what a tough matchup it is. So they know us. We know them well. So it’s one of those who can execute bettter and be the more physical team.”

Mayfield is right about the Saints’ defense. It’s solid. Kool-Aid McKinstry is a live, hungry body at cornerback and overall New Orleans plays decent run defense. Washed out Cameron Jordan has even found his way to 6 1/2 sacks.

But make no mistake, the Saints are bad. Not only do they turn the ball over at an incredible rate, they’re averaging 12.9 points per game since Oct. 5.

Joe looks forward to Buccaneers Ring of Honor general manager Jason Licht dunking on Cameron Jordan again on social media at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Putrid Pass Defense wont be tested this week but Im sure the Saints QB will have his best day as a Pro.

  2. Football 1 Says:

Yes , hope the Bucs don’t sleep on this one. This is a division game with 2 teams whom detest each other. Cam Jordan never misses a beat to say something bad about the Bucs. In fact he won’t ever consider us a rival, he thinks that little.
Sweeping the Saints will be no easy task. They will be amped looking to throw a wrench in any playoff plans.
Hopefully the offense continues on with Godwin , Bucky and J Mac this week. The defense I am afraid to even think about!!. I have said and will continue to say McColumn really needs to be benched. While he is not the only problem on defense, he is a huge 1. Teams will continue to go after him each week until something changes. I think the best thing is to get him off the field!!

  3. Stpetematt Says:

All I can say to the Bucs is WATCH OUT FOR HIP DROP TACKLES! They are a pretty dirty team and have been for ages.

  4. jcscycles Says:

We beat them 23-3 at their dome. Just take care of business.

  5. johnnythemoon Says:

Lets get back to losing so Todd Bowles gets fired.

  6. 813bucboi Says:

    GO BUCS!!!!

  7. Deeboooo Says:

This team is getting dialed in and I like to hear about them being fired up for this game. Hope they start strong and don’t take their pedal off the gas.

  8. Mach Says:

Maybe Jason Licht should shift his focus on keeping receipts and dunking on Cam Jordan to actually improving his ability to find an Edge rusher! The whole receipts thing is getting old. Hopefully we will make it to the playoffs and deeper, but it coukd have been alot easier path if out GM wasn’t arrogant in his picks. I said it before the trade deadline, lack of edge was going to hurt us and it has done. The coaching staff will need to adjust and cover it as best they can. Team his getting healthy and I will always cheer the bucs to win. I like Jason and Todd, I think they have done a great job in building this team but they also both need to self reflect on their weaknesses too and Improve them. For Jason its inability to draft edge and LB so admit it and just trade for them. For Todd he needs to hold the team more accountable in media to improve his image as a soft coach.

  9. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

We need to get out of this with a “W” and no significant injuries.

  10. Winny Testaverde Says:

Did I just see a reel of Ira asking Baker a salty question about Dave Canales? Baker stayed on topic with The Saints…oh that clever Irv…feeling himself at the press conference!

  11. Jeff Says:

Smart! Talk crap and make the game harder! It’s a Yuc’s life!

  12. GP Says:

The skanks are no saints. They play dirty and at this point in their season, can only look forward to being spoilers. Finishing this game with no injuries is second only to getting the win

  13. Mach Says:

Saints and Ravens are 2 of the most dirtiest teams in my opinion . Team needs to get out of there with a W and no injuries. Watch out for those hip drop tackles and late hits on the QB, saints and Ravens are notorious for it and they hide it well. Watch out for Cam Jordan too he always pushes the boundaries when playing Baker.

  15. HC Grover Says:

The Stainks Stink!!!! may I dedicate the upcoming BLOWOUT to all the oil patch Stainks Fans…..

  16. ModHairKen Says:

A lot of yacking does nothing.

They better take this game seriously.

Especially the losers on the S list, like bored Zyon, Velcro Diaby, The Invisible Man Reddick and SVD, who we only see the back of his jersey chasing down RBs.

Miss the playoffs and many of these guys will be sent packing or riding the pine next year.

  17. Saskbucs Says:

813… what comes first? The chicken or the egg?

After a win, all the Bowles defenders come out blah blah blah.
After a loss, all the Bowles detractors come out blah blah blah.

The opposing view gets fired up and the boards are a Bowles debate again. Happens every year just like losing primetime games and sucking after a bye week and losing 3-4 games mid season.

Debate is pointless for now. Fact is, the D is subpar and Bowles doesn’t have an injury excuse this season. He has his toughest test ahead of him, 4 division games and playoffs in the balance.

Anything short of a well battled and coached divisional round loss should mean his head cause he will never be the guy to win another SB in Tampa, his D is stale and we see the same roller coaster ride every season we continue with him as HC. Meanwhile teams like the Panthers, Jaguars, Patriots, Bears make 1 significant upgrade at the most important position on the team and could all win their division. It’s not that I don’t like Todd, it’s that I won’t settle for mediocrity and that’s all he has delivered.

  18. SlyPirate Says:

Diaby has 6 sacks in 12 games. That’s a half sack per game.

He’s on pace for 9. I wonder if he can sneak an extra sack in and get to 10.

  19. Aqualung Says:

I wonder what Carribbean beach McCollum is planning to be on after he loafs through the season finale, a loss at home to the Panthers.

  20. unbelievable Says:

So washed up Cam Jordan has more sacks this season than any player on the Bucs?

    Sounds about right.

  21. An Erection For Sacks Says:

    Mayfieild?

  22. infomeplease Says:

This is the first of 5 very important games. A must win!! The D needs to make tackles and get off the field on 3rd and 4th downs. The O needs to get a running game going and use play action and screens passes to sustain drives and score in the red zone! 30+ please!!! The ST needs to do their jobs! Tackle!!! No 40 yard returns or blocked kicks!

  23. Cleanhouse Says:

Joe who is our current sack leader? How many do they have? I don’t like Cam Jordon, but if he’s washed out as you say and can still do that with 4 games to play, what does that say about the Bucs?

  24. PriMech54 Says:

Do not play The Great Mike Evans against the lowly Saints… he AINT (no pun) getting the 1k and we need him g2g for a Larry Fitzgerald style GOAT playoff performance, if you catch my drift.

  25. FortMyersDave Says:

This will be a good test of Bowles’ D. The Saints will know that the Bucs have zero pass rush and will involve their RB and TE in passes over the flat while Olave will probably get some easy yardage from Zyon M who has played like a bust since he has gotten paid. My beef with Bowles is that people say he is a defensive guru, yet he knows he has no pash rush but will still operate his D like he had one, leading to the explosive pays and other teams putting up yardage like the ’99 Rams. He cannot adjust his system???? If the Saints keep this game close, it is another point of proof that Todd should not be calling plays for the D. If the Bucs score 20, they should win, barring a special teams collapse but I bet Bowles’ busts on D like Zyon and SVD miss enough tackles and have enough busted assignments that the Saints move the ball and keep this close when any other team with equal talent would boat race them.

  26. Rod Munch Says:

I still hate when the NFL changed all the divisions in 2002 – yes it worked out well for the Bucs, but I just don’t care about the stupid Saints, the even dumber Falcons, and the ultra boring Panthers. There’s no hatred, just disinterest beyond wanting to beat them like we beat any other team.

The only teams I truly take an extra joy in beating are…

    1. Eagles – Because their fans are retarded.
    2. Packers – Because their fans are Canadians.
    3. Lions – Because their fans are retarded and think if they win 2 games in the preseason they’re going to win the SB. You’re never going to win a SB you morons.

  27. MadMax Says:

    F the aints!

  28. Kidfloflo Says:

Sucks that after what 3 weeks of no rain its supposed to have thunderstorms Sunday! Of course…Bucs win 13- 2 in a nail biter

  29. Jerseybuc Says:
