Got the biggest kick out of Gruden’s naughty list. Very creative. Was that our Devin White he was talking about?…

Thank you for the Rodgers comment article about the fan and DK. In that article is a link to the information about the fan. It reads like he is holding a conference today and also defamation along with his lawyer. This is something very important that I hadn’t even thought of. I think there should be some guidelines to how far a fan can go with verbal insults. Some things should never be said. They have rules for fighting. Certain verbal insults could provoke a fight. With all the cell phones around, it will be very easy to hear what was said and what wasn’t.

Barkley shouldn’t feel bad for feeling that way about Sirianni. Many don’t like him either, lol.

Joe those are not drone defense systems. To avoid jamming technology, the mini drones now are run out on a hard connection tether that trails underneath and behind them as the fly and leave that wire behind once mission is complete. Think Ethernet cable instead of WiFi. Each of those wires represents a spent mini attack drone.

I never understood how some people find that terrorizing children is funny. That’s not what makes a man a man. Sick minds.

Most (all) NFL players stay away from the stands of opposing teams. Only asking for trouble. Hell in Philly they’d pour beer on you if a player even gets close to the stands. There is security watching as teams go in and out of the tunnel where they do a good job of kicking unruly fans out. There was ZERO reason for Metcalf to stand there and interact with opposing fans.

The DK Metcalf story reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Bart and Lisa heckle Darryl Strawberry so much he cries.

I agree with Saquon’s original takeaway.

    Dang.

Joe, 99.97 is correct. Those look like used optical fibers.

The first remotely controlled drones used in the Russian War against Ukraine were mostly off the shelf radio controlled drones, and jamming the radio control frequencies became a matter of life or death.

The jamming of radio control frequencies is now so intense in many locations that radio control is impossible, and drones are increasingly guided using optical fibers.

Originally, the optical fibers were about a mile long, give or take. Now, the optical fibers are so thin, so light and so strong that they can be used to guide some drones over 20 miles with 50 miles possibly likely to be deployed soon as both sides race to have the greatest attack range.

Also, there are rotary systems that use barbed wire like a glorified weed whacker that try to cut the fiber optic cables.

And, supply roads near the front line are often covered with bird netting or even chicken wire to thwart quadcopter style drones. Obviously, drones can drop grenades or mortar shells to tear holes in bird netting and chicken wire so other drones can fly through the holes. But, while drones and grenades and mortar shells are more expendable than soldiers and equipment, bird netting and chicken wire are even more expendable than drones and their weapons.
