Bucs At Stinking Panthers, TV Map

December 20th, 2025

One would think a game played between two division rivals tied for first place on the week of Christmas would be shown to a good chunk of the country.

One would be wrong.

Because of how the Bucs have cratered, and losing badly on their last two nationally televised games, Joe is confident network suits are done with the Bucs until the playoffs. And the Stinking Panthers are not a decent brand at all. How many times have you seen anyone wearing Stinking Panthers gear outside of the greater Charlotte region?

So the only areas of the country that will broadcast the Bucs-Stinking Panthers game via their local FOX affilates are Florida, the Carolinas and the Carolina-adjacent Appalachian regions of the republic.

For many Bucs fans across the country, it’s a Sunday Ticket kind of day, or off to your local watering hole.

Joe’s favorite choice in those conditions is Hooters!  Cold beer, hot wings, plenty of TVs and the famous Hooters girls. What more does a Bucs fan need (other than a win)?

Friend of JoeBucsFan.com Chris Myers, “Stink” Mark Schlereth and Jen Hale will handle the call.

Enjoy the game!

OT: I’m watching the Amazon “Raise the Flags” series and the Glazers came off as real jerks, Rich McKay doesn’t have much love for them, and for them, they shouldn’t have been included.

  2. Rusty Shackleford Says:

Jon Gruden also came off as a complete and total jerk. It’s funny years later seeing all of these players trashing him (and Gruden’s offenses were just as bad as Dungy’s).

  3. Bojim Says:

Yay. Living in SC have to watch the Psnthers anyway.

  4. HC Grover Says:

No tv here. Just jags at 4 Might do radio.

  5. Football 1 Says:

Joe, yes believe we are now back or close to being the famous Yuks. Can you really blame the networks!. The Bucs are down right awful in prime time. With that said it could be a good game of sorts 2 bad teams going at each other for what looks to be a close game. Maybe one of these teams really wants to win the division!!. I now have an early game indicator. Watch the opening series of most any Bucs game this year, If the opposing team scores on the opening drive you pretty much can go do something else cause the Bucs are going lose. Sometimes really worse than others, but lose non the less.
I am still trying to get over 3rd and 28!!. Yes we really can’t blame the networks Joe

Looks like we get it in Roanoke

  7. Winny Testaverde Says:

This is an ideal game to watch through the Red Zone…vs every agonizing play. They’ll cut to this game when either team is in 3rd and long…making cheeks and colons clench throughout Buc Nation.

  8. jcscycles Says:

FOX is always Dallas. That Denver-Jags game is huge but its just regional coverage.

This why I pay for Sunday Ticket.

  9. HopetheBucswin Says:

Weird they don’t want to televise QBs creating history against our lack of D. Fire over confident mistake prone clueless opposing qb loving Bowles! Immediately.

  10. MelvinJunior Says:

Makes zero sense for why we keep getting screwed outta the 4:00 FOX game… We get Pittsburgh at Detroit, over Jacksonville at Denver. It’s Ridiculous. Such a Joke.

  11. MelvinJunior Says:

The local networks should chose the best freakin matchups instead of just basing it off of how many more people are living here from particular areas, or regions of the country. And, the Steelers being a ‘national’ brand. I think they’re behind the time with the formula they are using. It needs to be updated. They’ve already made several major mistakes this season. I think they’re just using the same metrics and teams that they’ve been using for decades. I bet the Cohen led Jags vs Denver would’ve had better ‘ratings’ in this area, than Pissburgh vs Detroit.

Yard work or Yucs on radio? Hmmmmm

  14. nick houllis Says:

Well McKay literally turned the franchise around, build the Super Bowl winning team – then Gruden comes in, a year after winning with Dungy’s team, wants to sign an old washed up Andre Rison who couldn’t break five seconds in the 40 during his tryout, McKay vetoes it, and Gruden goes running to the Glazers telling them he can’t win if McKay isn’t going to give him the players he wants. So McKay is forced out so Gruden can bring in his hand picked stooge Bruce Allen, who, along with Gruden, promptly destroy what McKay built in record time. So yeah, I can see why he’d not speak fondly of the Glazers.

  16. Rod Munch Says:

The Jags are playing the Broncos in a game that could decide the top seed in the AFC, and they only get some local markets – that’s pretty remarkable. Meanwhile the stupid loser Cowboys who aren’t in the playoff picture get another nation game.

  17. Larrd Says:

I just saw the documentary up to the end of Gruden’s rein. I did not think Glazers or Gruden came off as jerks. They even took it a little easy on Culverhouse. They didn’t call him a racist, at least.

I was struck with how lucky I have been as a Bucs fan. The Selmons, John McKay, Gruber, Alstott, Dunn, Brooks, Lynch, Sapp, Ronde, Dungy, and now Evans and Godwin. All the best players have also been good, likable people, at least in my estimation. No prima Donna’s, no wife beaters.

Except Keyshawn, who was a bit of a jerk, I guess. Which is why the team captains unanimously voted him off the team, according to Sapp. I still like him, though. Great blocker, too.

  18. Aqualung Says:

This game should be banned from the airwaves. Tood should never embarrass Bucs fans with any more nationally televised debacles. Ever. Again.

  19. Bucks 'n' Bucs Says:

Did you watch NFL.com’s preview of the game. The normally super enthusiastic narrator sounds bored to death.

I hope it’s an exciting game with the Bucs coming out on top! Go Bucs!!

  20. FortMyersDave Says:

Bucs seem to play a bit better when they are not nationally broadcast. I know they are 5-15 under Bowes in prime time but I wonder what the record would be if you add in games which are at 1 or 4 and are the primary national broadcast so that you’d get the A team broadcasters like Brady on Fox. I bet the record is pretty putrid as well. The general lesson: Bowles cannot coach under the microscope, he gets the yips and is usually outmatched by coaches of other teams who usually get the national spotlight such as Philly, Detroit, the Rams, Bills, this year the Pats, Denver with Payton, Steelers, Cowboys, etc, etc….

    Rod

Very clear assessment on the McKay travesty.

  22. heyjude Says:

Hardly can see the yellow on the map, disappointed about how the networks do all this. The orange area isn’t much better either.

Larrd – Absolutely agree about how lucky we are as Bucs fans. It could be far worse, for sure.

  23. Elite Vita Says:

I would like some education on this. Living in North Central Florida I’m getting the Fox feed of the jaguars at 4pm. However the Bucs are playing at 1:00pm and Fox would rather be playing programming that compares to 1960’s “Bowling for Dollars” and “The History of Tiddly-Winks”. So 1st Question is why? And the next question is what is the best way to deal with this?

    Signed,
    Sincerely Lamenting
