When Offense Plays Well, Bucs Are Undefeated
November 5th, 2025Joe knows the following may shock some readers, but it’s true! When the Bucs offense plays well, the Bucs win.
You know, score more points than the defense.
Courtesy of the Bucs’ media relations staff, here are some ways the Bucs’ record is undefeated when the offense does well:
* Bucs score first (3-0).
* Bucs score on opening drive (3-0).
* Bucs score at least 30 points (2-0).
* Bucs rush for 150 yards (1-0).
* Bucs give up no more than one sack (4-0).
* Bucs don’t cough up a turnover (5-0).
* Bucs have 400 yards of offense (1-0).
* Baker Mayfield throws for three TDs (1-0).
* Rachaad White has 50 scrimmage yards (4-0).
* Emeka Egbuka has 100 yards receiving (2-0).
Which of the above will be easiest to pull off against the 7-2 Patriots?

The Bucs need to return key injuried players in the coming weeks to complete for a Super Bowl đ run.
If the Bucs can get Evans and Godwin late in the season their chances increase exponentially.

RW has 50 scrimmage yards!!!!
The key is no TURNOVERS!!!!!!
BUCS HAVE A HOMEGROWN SB TEAM!!!!
GO BUCS

Bucs score first is obviously the easiest. But letâs hope Goedeke and Godwin come back this week and Evans in about 2-3 weeks!

4-0 when Sean Tucker scores a TD, lol
November 5th, 2025 at 9:40 am
When Joe doesn’t start on the Bulleit in the first half, 6-0.

Coming in town for this week’s game and tickets are CRAZY !!!! Go bucs!!!

Screens to White all day

The key to victory is the o-line giving Baker time to go through his progressions and find the open receiver. So, I’m going with Bucs don’t give up more than 1 sack. Undefeated in those games! Boys you can do this. LFG!

I am really tired of so many people saying OC Grizzard is not a good coach! I would like to ask a question.
Why is he a bad OC? Let’s look and some facts. If we are struggling offensively is it because of Grizzard or is it the FACT that we have lost a possible pro bowler (Mauch) for the year, lost (Goedeke) after 1 and 1/2 games. Complete right side. Who do we relace them with at RG, who knows game to game? Then RT Heck whom I just saw a stat that he has allowed the most pressures per game of any RT.
Now let’s look at WR’s. Evans, Godwin, and McMillen have been injured to a great degree most of the year. At RB our best piece in Bucky that has been out 3 games including 1 game he was injured and tried to play.
Is this Grizzard’s fault. NOOO, yet many think he just needs to call better plays!
Just remember what Bill Parcells said “Its’s all about the Jimmies and the Joes”!
Right now we are short of Jimmies and Joes and it’s not the fault Gizzard!!!

Missed 1 Joe …
o Bucs score in last minute of game thanks to Baker Mayfield 4th qtr comebacks: 4-0

Agree Babygrace. Hard to believe we are 6-2 with our offensive mash unit. Looks like it will be a bit longer before we get some reinforcements. Go squeak out a W this weekend gents (or dominate). Just get another W.

even El Serpente had some stinker games calling plays during his year here, lets give the guy some time to find his groove

Bucs will be 6-5 in three weeks. They win the division with 10 wins and get destroyed in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Oh My Jeff Says, Mrs Cooter and I were discussing this very thing as we had our coffee on the balcony, Mrs Cooter believes by adding no receivers or a pass rush in Free Agency the Bucs may only win 2-3 more games

Gee Jeff, thanks for bringing that optimism to the site.

“I am really tired of so many people saying OC Grizzard is not a good coach! I would like to ask a question.
Why is he a bad OC?”
-offensive play calling lacks cohesion & diversity
-personnel usage in terms of variety and application is lacking
-Willfully using the starter pack of a gap run scheme in place of an actual run game
-We’re down in every offensive metric in comparison to what we were after 8 games last year
-Trash on 3rd down even with that being a job he oversaw on the staff last year
-Terrible in the redzone
-15th scoring offense in the league, even with 14 points added to that average
-25 points generated(excluding a defensive score that inflates offensive production) in the last 8 quarters of football played or generated points on only 6 of our last 23 offensive possessions.
All of this is evident in every game Grizz has called the offense win/lose.

Ive noticed he has been calling more first down runs that Coen and Canalas did. I’m all for a strong run game but I think Baker does really well throwing early and often. Drop back under center and playaction on first would be a refreshing thing to see headed into this week’s matchup.

The consensus here is that the Bucs absolutely did not play well offensively against the Saints although I personally disagree that they played that bad. If true that they played badly offensively then this take is disproven. Like DR says we needed last minute/ second magic to beat the Falcons, Texans and Jets and the offense was middling in those games. This is an inane take.

Maintain gains on defense and special teams.
Fix the OL, especially the sad middle that canât stop a crippled geriatric from bursting through the A gap. Whatever is ailing Tristan, figure it out and fix it.
Fix the godawful run blocking concepts, juvenile route trees and play calling sequence. It is not fun watching the return of Byron Leftwurst.
And letâs hope that Baler is healed up and not re-beaten on the first drive Sunday.
November 5th, 2025 at 11:49 am
Godwin / Bucky not practicing today so looks like they are out Sunday
November 5th, 2025 at 12:02 pm
Need Bucky back in the worst way!!
Been saying it Iâll keep saying it white sucks as a RB sucked before Bucky sucks now. Great pass catcher great a$$ running back though
November 5th, 2025 at 12:04 pm
If our Ivy Leaguer Grizz-Kidd doesnât doesnât become more creative, and a lot more unpredictable, with the ârightâ game-plan, then we will have to win with our DEFENSE. Given all the injuries on the Offense, weâll prob have to anyway.

Warren Brooks Lynch Says:
You are a JOKE!!
November 5th, 2025 at 12:13 pm
Wow. We only have just ONE game this season of at least 400-YARDS of total OFFENSE!? Through EIGHT GAMES now!? Wow. Now, that is âOffensive.â How many opening-drive and first-quarter TDâs to we have this season!? What about RedZone TD%!? Has our âOffenseâ even outscored our DEFENSE (not including PATâs and FGâs), over the last TWO Games!? Pshew, Ugggglyyyy.
November 5th, 2025 at 12:15 pm
what uncorrelated nonsense from one buc place….
November 5th, 2025 at 12:17 pm
“”Godwin / Bucky not practicing today so looks like they are out Sunday””
If Bucky is still out we’re F’ed. We ain’t winning the game with him out. I don’t expect Godwin back at all. He’s done.
